TNA's Motor City Machine Guns Reunite

As noted before, Chris Sabin has been cleared to return and will be reuniting with Motor City Machinegun partner Alex Shelley. The original plan was to have them feud with Samoa Joe and Magnus for the TNA Tag Team Titles, but that was before Joe and Magnus turned babyface.

I don't see why they wouldn't feud with Joe and Magnus, even if they are babyfaces, because there's hardly any tag teams MCMG could feud with and they should be centered around the tag-team division since they're the best and usually the most over tag team in TNA anyway. This match would be a great addition to Lockdown, which I must admit :gulp: doesn't look like a bad card at all.

  1. Welp, guess it's time to start watching TNA again.

  2. MCMG are a great team, but I feel like Sabin really holds Shelley back - I think Shelley has all the tools to be a main-eventer (and I mean a WWE main-eventer, not just a TNA main-eventer), he's fantastic both in the ring and on the mic. Not that Sabin isn't good, too, but I don't think he's as good in either category as Shelley.

There's no reason that Shelley couldn't be TNA's own Punk right now, except without having to be so watered down. Hell, Shelley should have basically been doing what Punk did last year, except a few years earlier.

  3. IMO Sabin is cleaner and more technical in the ring, sure Shelley has the more impressive moves, but it's Sabin who keeps the matches together, with the transitions and such.

  4. Ehh, I can't really agree or disagree; I still think Shelley is the better and more exciting wrestler, but I can't really split hairs on the subject.

  5. That's basically how I look at it too.  Ive always been more excited about Sabin than Shelley, especially in the ring.  But Shelley has really evolved a much better personality whereas Sabin has NEVER had one.  So to me better wrestler is Sabin, better overall performer is Shelley.

  6. That's entirely within your right, I however, disagree.

  7. Oh yeah? Well I disagree with your disagreement.

    So there.
