I'm really entertained by Impact. The show is really smooth, good wrestling and characters and angles that hold interest. Backstage stuff works well too.
In my case, didn't see any spoilers, and been busy playing Starpoint Gemini while watching Impact. Can't speak for anyone else... but I bet next week will be as deserted also.
REALLY? You really can't get off the fucking pot on Storm? Gotta "screw" him again? Fuck that. Now I'm wishing I had caught the spoilers... would have saved me a couple hours tonight.
Does anyone know when Velvet is coming back? A heel Velvet feuding with Tessmacher would work because she could accuse her of stealing her ass-based mannerisms.
If a tree falls in a forest...? He beat the top heel, but it wasn't for the strap. And then he lost his title shot to him a month later. Unless Roode beats Hardy for the title, Storm pins Roode for the title on PPV with his foot on his chest, and has a long title reign, the narrative doesn't look good for him.
I think someone is just giving a thumbs down to all my comments, regardless. My completely innocuous comment about Daniels' shirt has a down-vote. Who the fuck doesn't like Miller and Claremont's Wolverine?
This is why they should stress the value of secondary titles. They should be stepping stones for world title matches down the road. Storm, AJ, Aries, and Angle now have a vested intrest in winning the X title to get the shot at Destination X. If they are playing it that way then I have no issue with it. But Storm will be fine.
Anyone else excited for what they have planned for Styles? I really hope they don't fully turn him and he has the "doesn't give a shit about anyone" feel.
wait, was anyone okay with it? I mean, admittedly, I gave it a half hearted "well, he IS the most over guy with the impact crowd..." sort of justification, but then I promptly stopped watching after his title win, because he's never done anything for me. my favorite Jeffy Hardy moment was him getting rag dolled by Brock Lesnar. I'll check back in when Aries or Joe or Storm or someone else gets their chance at bat.
I still have the bad taste of the HiaC PPV buy in my mouth, plus the subsequent horrid RAWs so I DVR'd tonight's episode. TNA really likes these storyline 180s the first show after the PPV huh? First you had Storm winning the title, now something like this for those that paid for the PPV.
The TNAShop.com 75% off sale for "Black November" is a great opportunity to load up on DVDs. Everyone of them is $4.99 or a couple pennies more - including double show sets. They also have some 2012 discs which I gladly grabbed considering the quality of the PPVs.
Can we pour one out for Magnus? He was really hitting his stride as a badass heel, but they pissed it away for the sake of the mind-numbing Aces & Eights angle.
Roode is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe spoilers must've been bad, if no one's posting on here during the show. lol.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! Is this real? Jeff Hardy internal soliloquies?!
ReplyDeleteI'm really entertained by Impact. The show is really smooth, good wrestling and characters and angles that hold interest. Backstage stuff works well too.
ReplyDeleteOh, shit, a profile perv-shot of Hemme? You're too good to me, TNA.
ReplyDeleteI love that someone down-voted this. Someone who is a huge fan of internal soliloquies in their pro wrestling.
ReplyDeleteDaniels with a Frank Miller Wolverine shirt? I couldn't like this guy any more right now.
ReplyDeleteIn my case, didn't see any spoilers, and been busy playing Starpoint Gemini while watching Impact. Can't speak for anyone else... but I bet next week will be as deserted also.
ReplyDeleteBobby Rooooooooode! New #1 Contender!
ReplyDeleteAnd on that note, Fuck you Impact.
ReplyDeleteREALLY? You really can't get off the fucking pot on Storm? Gotta "screw" him again? Fuck that. Now I'm wishing I had caught the spoilers... would have saved me a couple hours tonight.
It was looking like a good episode... that ending makes it mediocre at best.
ReplyDeleteI just got here. From what I've heard it wasn't too bad. I don't think that is the last of Storm.
ReplyDeleteChikara would call that stupid
ReplyDeleteIsn't roode v hardy actually a pretty awesome idea
ReplyDeleteI think the frustration is that he's dangerously closer to Luger-territory. It may be past time pull the trigger on him.
ReplyDeleteDidn't watch the show but I will say nba2k13 is pretty fucking sweet.
ReplyDeleteThat's like the best part of impact.
ReplyDeleteThe shots of Mickie weren't bad either.
ReplyDeleteNah. Storm has won the big one againt the top heel. Luger? Well......
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know when Velvet is coming back? A heel Velvet feuding with Tessmacher would work because she could accuse her of stealing her ass-based mannerisms.
ReplyDeleteI thought so. There is still plenty of time do have Storm wrestlt for the heavyweight title.
ReplyDeleteTWO someones, at that.

ReplyDeleteI'll be in a food coma hoping to stave off diabetes from eating one too many pecan pies.

ReplyDeleteThere was a lot of Hardy defense on the Turning Point thread.
ReplyDeleteReally? missed that. I have no use for the dork, separate whatever personal problems he has. I don't cheer for 35 year old ravers.
ReplyDeleteBINGO!
ReplyDeleteStorm- Luger 2012
No he wont.
ReplyDeleteTNA has spoken. Roode is the star and Storm is the fodder.
...sadly, they wouldnt
ReplyDeletevelvet was released... months ago...
ReplyDeletea gay one?
ReplyDeletejohn byrne?
ReplyDeleteim smelling a big aj styles push for the bfg series next year.
ReplyDeleteThere was rumor of her rengotiating her deal about 2 months ago. Dixie really wanted/wants her back.

ReplyDeleteI'm in the minority, but I wouldn't mind seeing him reunite with Angle and take the tag division by storm until the BFG Series.
