I've got a good feeling he'll keep this up. DDP is a great guy.
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt DDP will try. I have severe doubts Jake will.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I mean I hate to sound discouraging, but Jake hasn't seemed too bothered to be how he is to this point, seems late in the game to change now without some real motivation he hasn't seemed to have in the past.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how serious he's been about quitting in the past or how long he has managed to go without drugs before this, but now with all these eyes on him and DDP overseeing I think he's got a chance. Maybe we'll see him at the Rumble... lol
ReplyDeleteAny time you work with DDP is definitely not a bad thing.....that....is a good thing =D
ReplyDeleteIt's not that he hasn't been bothered. It's that he's been addicted. You know, because he's an addict? Also, there's no such thing as too late.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great insight :)
ReplyDeleteTHREADJACK! Punk having emergency knee surgery?
Hopefully it's a Cena-type injury where they think he's out for 4-6 weeks and he comes back in two.
ReplyDeleteGod I hope not. The best thig Jake can probably do is stay as far away from wrestling as possible.
ReplyDeleteI would like to use this opportunity to point out that DDP in a shoot interview said that him and Christian had the second best match at WM18.
ReplyDeleteIn his defense, outside of Rock/Hogan or Flair/Taker, what could be considered the first and second best match on the card?
ReplyDeleteThere are many types of addicts; some guys have to treat underlying issues before drug and alcohol treatment means anything. I've always thought Jake was one of those guys.
ReplyDeleteAs I've said before, TNA NEEDS to have him come in for Gut Check.
ReplyDeleteThat match was highly underrated.
ReplyDeleteThose lightning fast recoveries seem to be unique to Cena's super human physiology. Probably NOT adviseable for anyone else.
ReplyDeleteDDP seems to be somewhat looked down upon by the business, but he seems like a super guy.
ReplyDeleteVery cool article. I have to admit, this Roberts/DDP thing is something I'm very interested in. And if nothing else, I have to believe Roberts is going to keep himself alive at least through the time he's doing this, and that's always a good thing.
