Other than the Taker Cell match I don't see any repeats unless the other Cell match is available somewhere.

Comments

  1. I appreciate they're trying not to repeat other discs they've already put out but a lot of these hardly feel like the most essential matches of Micks career.

  2. Fully agreed. There are some glaring omissions.

  3. The Bulldogs match is an extra on his first DVD, that's the only other repeat. That's not bad at all though. They could make twelve Foley DVDs, and I'm pretty sure they'd all need to have Hell in a Cell.

  4. They covered a great deal of the important stuff on the first set, especially with the bonus disc they released as an extra whenever it was they reissued it. That had the Orton match, plus anything else notable from his post "retirement" career. The only big stuff missing is from his title feud with the Rock, but I wouldn't be surprised if stuff like the I Quit match never gets shown again (if they can help it).

They sure went light on the blu-ray exclusives, huh?

Stoked they have the Van Hammer match, as well as the Canadian Stampede one.

However, what's with no Vader matches? Why not the match from Havoc? Or how about the tag match with Sullivan against The Nasty's? Or his title win from Summerslam 1999?

I cannot believe they're putting that HIAC match on another release. This honestly has to make the 5th time or so. At least we'll get commentary from Mick & Joey, that should be good. They should have also included his tag match at WM 20. As well as the matches from the bonus disc of his first release, since some folks bought it when it was only a two disc. Man, that bonus disc is f'ning incredible.

  6. Was the Sting stuff on any other DVD releases? I know Foley loves his work with the Stinger.

  7. I'm more interested in the documentary than the matches since I've seen and/or own all of his great ones already, and the new inclusions hardly seem essential. Though, I'm sure it will be great to not have any blurring & muting. I cannot get over how happy I am that that nightmare is over.

  8. Needs more Kennel from Hell with Foley's commentary. That shit was hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Oh come on.

No Vader match at Halloween Havoc 93?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I know the Beach Blast falls count anywhere match is on Greatest hits and Misses.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Was hoping for Edge/Foley/Lita vs Funk/Dreamer/Beulah. Match selection is kinda meh but I'm sure the doc will be great.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Other cell match is on, funny enough, the cell dvd

    ReplyDelete
  13. already on the other set, even with alternative commentary by Foley and Joey Styles.

    ReplyDelete
  14. thats the biggest notable missing match. the other one: the Slamboree match in which Foley teamed with Sullivan against the Nasties.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Gorgeous Gary Young on a WWE dvd?! Markout city.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'm disappointed the Rock/Mankind vs. Jericho/Al Snow tag match was left.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Actually, then, they couldn't use Jesse Ventura's commentary due to legal stuff so this will be the full real match at last.
