I still have no idea why WWE released "No Holds Barred" on DVD last year, and hyped it tongue-in-cheek. I mean, I need to replace a copy taped off of TV, but how many people out there are going to buy it for camp value?
Speaking of Wrestleline/Wrestlemaniacs....hell, a lot of people here are probably too young to remember those sites, it's been a long time, but anyhoo, "The Rick" posts on the same baseball board as I do. I think I'm the only person on the board who remembers him though.
I think there was a fair amount of demand for it among wrestling fans because it was never released on DVD, but yeah, probably didn't do great numbers overall.
I'd buy it if it had the Movie/Match and the Behind The Scenes footage that aired on one of the Hulkamania tapes.
Look, he wasn't gonna give DJ Pooh his bike back, so, this doesn't surprise me.
ReplyDeleteOld news is old.
ReplyDeleteWell, it is!
And there's me thinking he had turned over a new leaf after he didn't blow up the other boat!
ReplyDeleteI think Mike was cleared, though...
ReplyDeleteIsn't he already doing time for this?
ReplyDeleteWell thankfully he already works at Max Cherry Bail Bonds, so he should be all right #MovieReferencesNoOneGets
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened with Samuda, was he convicted?
ReplyDeleteAt 1st I thought you were talking about Andy Kaufman's partner, Bob Zmuda.
ReplyDeleteSentenced to death, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteDamn, it feels good to be Z-Gangsta...
ReplyDeleteMichael Keaton's best performance ever. His is the only character that's believable.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Clean and Sober a lot too. Johnny Dangerously is an underrated gem.
ReplyDelete*Paul E. Dangerously.
ReplyDelete:P (Yes, I know the connection)
"I ended up seeing Mr. Mom that day. It was pretty good!"
ReplyDeleteActually, he's purposely putting himself in a position so he can be on a prison boat and save the day.
ReplyDeleteIt's all....PART OF THE PLAN
I still love Beetlejuice. And Batman, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteWhen you absolutely, positively got to get every motherfucker upvote on the blog, accept no substitutes.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, love both of those too! Watching Beetlejuice the first time is one of my fondest memories as a kid actually
ReplyDeleteI thought Zeus was an awesome character. Even now, tremendous. Hogan/Zeus never got the payoff it deserved.
ReplyDeleteNight Shift was good too.
ReplyDeleteI think he was involved with Wrestleline back in the day.
ReplyDelete"THEY SHOULDA NEVER GAVE YOU N****Z MONEY!!!"
ReplyDelete-Rick James (after his legs been beaten up by Charlie n Eddie Murphy)
Micasa and later Wrestleline or Wrestlemaniacs or whatever it was called.
ReplyDeleteThe correct answer is Multiplicity.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the whole Charlie Murphy Darkness vs. the band Darkness back in the day.
ReplyDeleteAh, OK. I knew the name was familiar past me thinking of Zmuda.
ReplyDeleteThat seems legit.
ReplyDeleteI still have no idea why WWE released "No Holds Barred" on DVD last year, and hyped it tongue-in-cheek. I mean, I need to replace a copy taped off of TV, but how many people out there are going to buy it for camp value?
ReplyDeleteThis is VERY old news.
ReplyDeleteI love his reprisal of the role in Out of Sight as well.
ReplyDeleteStill my favorite Tarantino film even though no one else seems to share that thought.
ReplyDeleteMine too. Actually it is in my top ten favorites of all time.
ReplyDeleteMultiplicity is so underlooked, it's criminal. I love that move.
ReplyDeleteI LIKE PIZZA
Was he an active wrestler long enough to qualify for having his life turned around by DDP and the power of yoga when he gets out?
ReplyDeleteI think it was so I could write this...

Man, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Hands down.
Speaking of Wrestleline/Wrestlemaniacs....hell, a lot of people here are probably too young to remember those sites, it's been a long time, but anyhoo, "The Rick" posts on the same baseball board as I do. I think I'm the only person on the board who remembers him though.
ReplyDeleteI remember him. You're from Dayton, we get it...
ReplyDeleteMan, and after he refused to blow up a boat in TDK...
ReplyDelete*Deebo
ReplyDeleteML Curly was his hotline name, right?
ReplyDeleteI think there was a fair amount of demand for it among wrestling fans because it was never released on DVD, but yeah, probably didn't do great numbers overall.
ReplyDeleteI'd buy it if it had the Movie/Match and the Behind The Scenes footage that aired on one of the Hulkamania tapes.
I love you guys. I'm so glad Jackie Brown is getting its due.
ReplyDeleteWhen he come around I be quiet, but when he leave, I be talking again.
ReplyDeleteAcquitted. http://www.scribd.com/doc/85345610/Press-Release-Attorney-Cleared-of-Mortgage-Fraud
ReplyDeleteI meant the only person on the baseball board who remembered him from his wrestling past, but ok. And I'm not from Dayton.
ReplyDeleteRick was though, and he used to mention it constantly.
ReplyDeleteGung Ho was awesome...
