  1. Good LORD, that had to hurt like hell, right there.

  2. Uh, eerie timing there. Looks like Bobby's in a bad way.

  3. Just wanted to point out what a great handle you're sporting there. Love the Gorilla reference.

  4. Thank you kindly.

  5. "That man might not get up again, Ji-"

    "I DON'T CARE!"

F'ing classic. Jim always made you believe what you were seeing was important.

  6. I'll bet Mulkeymania hates Bobby Eaton.

  7. The suplex right after is just as bad. Ugh.

  8. God, I HATE the fucking theme change when it's played on anything WWE. But knowing the original theme makes up for it.

Also, I LOVE the Midnights proper use of jobbers. Beat their asses, and have fun doing it. The fake "I'll catch him!" routine (sadly not seen in this match) was always good for a laugh.

  9. To me, the Bobby Eaton/Stan Lane version of the Midnight Express is one of the top five tag teams ever, but Eaton and Condrey were pretty awesome, too. And yeah, hope Randy Mulkey got paid a little extra for nearly breaking his back there.

  10. There should be a wrestler with the last name Mulkey who is going to avenge all of the ass-kickings of his forefathers.

  11. I could watch Midnight Express squashes all day.

  12. Poor jobber, surely he got paid double for that... and then the immediate suplex on the concrete afterwards.

    Bobby: Are you ok, man?

    Randy: I'm..

    Bobby: SUPLEX!

Eaton/Lane were the "We're better than everyone, especially you!" version of the Midnights.

Eaton and Condrey were on the more violent side.

    Both were great.

  14. Good lord that suplex.

"He might not get up again Jim.."
    "I dont care!!"

  15. Good lord! And the suplex sounded like someone dropping a steak on the floor.
The Midnights raised squashes to an art form. Pulling people up from pins, stepping on one jobbers back on the way to punch the other, they just came across as total bully assholes.
