The Great CM Punk Hiatus of 2013

So, it's been about a month since CM Punk went off on hiatus and such and I was wondering, how long is he going to be gone? Until late summer for Summerslam? Late fall and Survivor Series? The entire rest of the year?

Given how we are now suffering through HHH sticking his big nose back into things, positioning himself as counterpoint for Cena as the top guy, how fucking long must we wait until Punk returns?

Oh shit. Well, here's to hoping that TNA doesn't fuck up anytime soon.

  6. DON'T EVEN FUCKING JOKE ABOUT SUCH THINGS!!!

  7. Yeah, especially when it will be HHH and Cena overcoming the odds and winning a 6-on-2 handicap match against they Heyman Guys and the Shield

  10. you're actually right.

because of this, this might result in CM Punk becoming the next big "part-timer" for the WWE.

  11. Are you kidding???? Only mighty Super-Cena can defeat such odds! (see last week's RAW)

  12. Lololol Awesome! So that would mean you've got CM Punk playing the role of Terry Funk......you've got Mark Henry playing the role of Dean Malenko ("I'm going home!")...who's next?

  13. Perhaps it will be an *8* on 2 against the Heyman Guys, the Shield, and the PTP, and held in a three story steel cage!!! I can't figure out what to call that type of match though.

  14. I'm amazed at the level at which Cena has gone without any type of break (barring injuries here and there - which he returned from faster than expected) for as long as he has.

While I wouldn't mind him taking an extended break, I'm amazed at how he's stuck around.

  15. I can:

The "FUCK YOU FANS" match... a HHH special.

  16. Curtis Axel will be my generation's CM Punk.

  17. Denis Leary playing a stepfather who didn't beat the living shit out of his son for ruining a Babe Ruth ball was an Oscar worthy performance.

  18. Look at it this way: less Punk now means more Punk overall throughout the years when he's healthy enough to keep going. For someone who's not going to juice or dope you need to allow some leeway if we want to see him into his 40s.

  19. Hasn't he said that he wants to retire within the next few years no matter what?

  20. If my stepson gave me a ball signed by entire 1927 Yankees to replace it I'd let it go too.

Sidenote: I always wondered if The Great Hambino was a face ot a heel.

Sidenote #2: The Sandlot is the greatest kids movie ever.

  21. He's been the best part of WWE for years now.

  22. That might just be a Jericho retirement.

  23. Totally forgot about the ball that he replaced it with. Damnit.

  24. I can see it now, it'd be a 6 minute classic. He'd finish young Axel with a knee lift, make Punk tap to an Indian death lock and Brock will be the last guy to tap out to a kimura. After the match HHH can bring out Stephanie to give Heyman the Pedigree. HHH can then line all four guys up and piss all over them to close the show! It'd be the greatest PPV ending in history.
