Glen Jacobs Shoot style

Hi Scott,

I'm sure you have many emails, hope this finds you well.

Not sure if you have seen this, Glen Jacobs (Kane/Isaac Yankem etc) wrestling all shooty style in Japan. Interesting, didn't know the big guy could go in this style.

That wins the award for strangest Match of the Day in a while.

  1. My favorite random strange match involving Kane is the job match he had against Sting back in the day.

  2. Let me rephrase that: Is there a Youtube link to the match, and is it easy to find?

  3. Type in Sting vs Kane.

  4. Is there really a Kane vs Jesse match out there?

  5. I doubt it, pretty sure Jesse retired long before Kane ever got started IN THIS BUSINESS.

  6. No... that question's more in the hypothetical realm.

  7. Well, that was different. And man, that was an ugly powerbomb at the end. Damn rookies.

I would love to see something like this in WWE though. Punk/Brock II, MMA rules?

  8. Would they have anything to debate about? I mean, don't they both lean the same way, politics-wise?

  9. I'm not sure on that one... they might not be polar opposites, but I'm sure they'd find a fair bit to disagree on.

  10. Not really. Jesse's pretty much in his own boat. Although Jesse's distrust of the government would play into Kane's libertarianism.

  11. Aside from his paranoid slant on a number of subjects, Jesse is a bit of a left-leaning, populist guy (at least from my perspective), which would certainly give him plenty of reason to clash with a libertarian who supported Ron Paul. Could make for an interesting debate (though only one of them could say that they were actually elected to something).

  12. Jerry Flynn in a no-rope barbed-wire match trumps this.

  13. He looks like the penultimate opponent in every Van-Damme movie

  14. My favorite Jesse Ventura as a political commentator video:
