The Heart of Rock and Roll's Still Beating

Jump to the 24:20 mark.  Ricky and Robert are still taking titles,
kicking ass, and double dropkicking their way to four star matches all
across the country!

I missed that spot and jumped in where the guy was talking about 3D Bible Studies.  Oh, the South, you so WACKY.

And now I can't unsee Robert Gibson in 2013.

  1. Granted, it was awful, but the crowd sure popped. And that's what it's all about: entertaining folks.

  2. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of marking out going on in those clips.

  4. Looks better than Sunny, at least.

  5. There comes a time when you have to accept that your hair is gone and it's not coming back...

I'm also amazed that that the RNRs were ever considered heartthrobs. I can look at teams like the Rockers, the Hardys and Strike Force and see why girls would find them attractive. Ricky and Robert always looked like scuzzy rednecks. Maybe it's a southern thing...

  6. There is no reason they can't keep pumping out iconic tag teams every few years. I know Morton has a good singles-run but these guys wouldn't be legends with out the tag team. And their matches underscore just how awesome tag team wrestling can be.

I would love to see TNA or the WWE bring in the RnR's and have them work with the tag teams there. I mean who is better at showing someone how to play Ricky Morton than....Ricky Morton?
