Roman reigns

>
> If there's nothing we can do to stop the Roman Reigns super push than why don't they go the full nine and have him challenge Taker at WM 30. It actually makes sense as the Shield put him through a table last time we saw Taker. Taker comes back in the Rumble and ends the Shield's "diesel run". Taker can run through Rollins and Ambrose en route to Mania but always get speared by Reigns. Reigns make the challenge and then puts on a great effort before getting tombstoned and pinned. They can do the Rock/Hogan ending where the Shield turns on him for failing only for Taker to make the respect save and boom! Reigns is mega star and face.

Sure, that would be fine. Long as they don't do something stupid like the Legacy three way from 2010 (2009?).

  1. Roman Reigns has gotta be pushed if for no other reason than for all of the great puns that can be created from his name.

  2. In that case, it's really too bad Luther Reigns was a bust.

  3. Good god, that Legacy match was terrible.

How about we rehabilitate Lex Luger and have him tag up with Roman Reigns. The gimmick is that they have an Asian announcer.

  6. Does Undertaker at this stage want to go into the ring with a greenhorn?

Does Roman at this stage want to go in the ring with Tony Randall?

  8. They are totally doing the legacy breakup angle...why? Because they know no other way.

If they REALLY want to push Roman, then have him beat Taker. Otherwise it's pointless, especially when Taker/Roman likely won't draw shit.

  11. Big fella isn't near ready; he'd be buried.

  12. I said that same thing… but it didn't post. Stupid phone.

But yeah, maybe I'm old school, but you do an "undefeated streak" to make a star out of someone by having him END the streak. If they think Roman is the next big thing, then make him the next big thing.

I mean, if they are SO DEAD SET against doing Cena v. Undertaker and I join Officer Farva as being against anything that isn't Undertaker/Cena at WrestleMania XXX.

  13. To be fair Orton was getting hot and Rhodes and Dibiase looked like a bunch of dorks

  14. That's fine. Thanks for the HBK referral. That guy is fun to watch for a smaller Superstar. Really liked it and will show it to the tyke.

  15. OK thanks man! Just googled him and now I know. Coulda just said that he killed his kid and it sounded like I made a bad pun.

I'm just saying... think about learning to fly, I guess. They normally start you off in a little Cessna or something, you're trying to hop in a fighter jet your first time.

Stick with us though, this is a really good site with good people. Hell, if nothing else, a lot of videos with good wrestling that you can watch with your son get posted here pretty regularly.

  19. Well, seeing as Rock is Roman's cousin, they actually might bring Rock in for a program between the two. If they actually do end up doing that, let's hope Rock can go against someone other than the two top guys in the company.

  20. Which is funny, because Ted Turner actually ran a diverse corporation of entertainment interests, while Vince runs a wrestling promotion that tries and fails at other entertainment ventures.

  21. Yeah, THIS BUSINESS is kind of funny like that...

  22. If he was only interested since July, he would have also known who HBK was, since he appeared on TV a bunch of times and was a guest referee, etc. etc.

  24. HHH might want everyone's hair cut short. Because dammit, if he can't have long, flowing, non-corporatized locks, then no one can!

  25. That's a bad model to emulate. Personally, I'd rather emulate a wrestling show, after all that's a formula that has succeeded for eight decades and counting while the variety show is a format that with the exception of Graham Norton hasn't succeeded since the 1980's, after all if it was such a successful concept then the "Nick And Jessica Hour" and the 10:00 Jay Leno Show would still be on the air.

  26. Oddly enough, it actually did work for Saturn. It sure as hell didn't work for Big Vito though.

  27. He was a terrible babyface, until he turned heel and was thus worth cheering again.

    Bit weird.

  28. Well he IS freaking big and muscular. He actually could be a new Goldberg who wasn't good int he ring and also had only his muscles...

    ReplyDelete
  29. I don't get it why Reigns is so special. He isn't as tall as a Kevin Nash or Sid or Undertaker. He isn't as big as Lesnar or Goldberg or Triple H or Ryback. He had nearly zero single matches. He had never a great promo. And in my Shield list he is only on place three. Ambrose is better on the mic, Rollins is better in the ring. And in general I also would push them and Antonio Cesaro or Wade Barrett before I would think about Reigns.

  30. Will do. Thanks, man, appreciate your insight.
