Blog about Bryan's Neck Injury

Hey Scott, it's James from the comment section again. I wrote a post about the general state of the WWE and the disappointing product as of late as well as how Bryan's neck injury will affect things going forward. I'd really appreciate a plug.

  1. It'll never happen, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if Punk DID return while Bryan was out.

  2. My fantasy booking scenario is that Punk returns at Payback in Chicago to defend the belt on Bryan's behalf whilst he's injured.

Bryan returns a few months down the line but Punk decides that actually he's not so keen on giving the belts back after all.

Cue series of matches between Bryan and Punk with Bryan getting put over and Punk going out properly, rather than as a result of chucking his toys.

    It'll never happen though

  3. That's pretty much exactly what I'd love to see. Especially to see another series of main event matches between Punk and Bryan.

  4. Does anyone else think that, in addition to the Kane storyline, involving Brie in DB's storyline is a bad idea? I guess it doesn't take away his heat but I don't see what she adds. It's like when they involved Debra in the build up to Austin-Rock at WM17.
Also, as someone who doesn't watch Total Divas (I'm not sure what the audience crossover is), it would have made so much more sense to have Bryan and AJ back together, or at least in some sort of working relationship. AJ's clearly the most over and charismatic diva and I think bringing her in to feud with Stephanie would have resulted in some great TV (plus it allows Steph to get physical comeuppance at some point). It's a shame that WWE is always going on about telling stories and making movies, yet on this occasion they want to be more 'reality-based'.

  5. I think enough people watch Total Divas to make that ridiculous. Especially since all the smarks also know that Punk and AJ are together.
Speaking of Punk and AJ, tying the know awfully quick.

  6. Brie isn't a great idea, although it was going to happen eventually because like the below commentator said, enough people watch the show.

A.J. is just as bad of an idea because during this whole push he's been able to stand on his own two feet. That's been the hook behind the story.

  7. AJ is honestly a better mic worker than Bryan. Bryan didn't need to be upstaged.

  9. Women aren't people though, they are pleasure objects and servants.

  10. I thought Elliot Rodgers killed himself, apparently he's a Scott Keith fan.

  11. That is just a FANTASTIC idea and would immediately get me watching more intently
