Over the past several weeks, Cena has been dealing with a shoulder injury. Also, Cena has been dealing with neck pain and there is a real concern within the WWE as the company has noticed that he is not moving around as well as he used. And, if Cena's acting career takes off while is injuries mount, there is a concern that he will leave the company and choose Hollywood as an alternative.

There are many people within the WWE that feel since Batista's chances of returning as a full-time performer are decreasing. 1. Wait, what? Didn't Goldust & Stardust pretty conclusively turn heel on Monday?

I'm FAIRLY positive they turned heel 3 days ago.

Just making an observation here - that Rajah site is full of nonsense a lot of times. I wouldn't use it as a credible source to highlight 'news stories' or provide possible traffic there. But that's just my opinion.

  3. Well thought-out argument, nice.

  4. I'll meet everyone at the Memphis airport. We're going to Gus'!

  5. As well as a pretty cool Memphis run with Robert, but when he was a face he was as white meat as it came.

  6. unfortunately I think they could not do it due to rights issues, but Batista coming back as Drax would be great.

  7. Getting excited over the prospect of Cena winning and defending the United States Championship is rather futile considering anyone who isn't blinded by false optimistic hope knows it's never gonna happen.

I would love to see Rusev defeat Sheamus for the title, though. But I doubt even that will happen at this point. It's probably the reason Rusev isn't winning the strap from him at Night Of Champions as rumored a month or two ago, because they're likely building Rusev up for a match with John Cena and obviously the US Title has no place in that feud.

  8. I'm still not sure what kind of babyface character he was supposed to be. Bret didn't help him any by pointing out all the reasons some of us weren't going to cheer him.

  9. Ricky Morton. Dude was over as hell in 86 and I'm not even sure why. Everyone probably already answered Steamboat for the second question. I don't have anyone else off the top of my head. Maybe a Von Erich?

  11. And everyone in New York again at Survivor Series 1996.

  12. Poughkeepsie, NY is a customer of ours at work so I think of them for that, 1994 Raw, and Todd Barry's amazing "Day In The Life" bit on Louie last season where he talks about taking the 8.50 bus from Chinatown to "near" Poughkeepsie and making the pissed off club owner pick him up.

  13. Wasn't the old WWF mindset to not talk much about the PPV the night before so people would order the Tuesday replay?

  14. When did they start letting Bob Holly go by that name instead of Sparky?

Also, regarding the Jenny McCarthy/Pam Anderson deal from WM, at least Pam's animal rights shit isn't as irritating as McCarthy's war on vaccinations. Plus, even though I'd have to wear a full-body zentai suit condom, I'd still stick it to Pam. If even just to say I did.

  15. I'd like to fill Rob Schneider with a pitchfork. Preferably somewhere in the brain area.

  16. Sparky became Bob Holly sometime around Survivor Series.

  17. We love Sid, and aren't ashamed of it. That night was the highlight of WWE in '96. Bret returns, Austin is made, crowd rejects Shawn, and all is right with the wrestling world.

  18. Man, bringing in those Joshi Puroresu chicks was such an awesome move... but never really went anywhere, because that division was literally just Alundra Blayze (vs) whoever she was feuding with that month.

  19. I always figured he had a lot of friends up-top (like Taker), and kept getting hired as a favor to people.

  20. Agree. I was 10 in 1995, and I didn't see it as a botch back then, but rather, thought that Sid was giving him some super crazy variation because he was so pissed.

    ReplyDelete
  21. When I used to make matches with my G.I. Joe's, I sometimes used the botched version as Sid's finisher.

And that's the last I'll say about my G.I. Joe matches for a while.

  22. I can't quite make out what Vince is saying during the commercial break ... something about going live, and Diesel coming out.

    ReplyDelete
  23. My GI Joe "matches" always included Scarlett.

  24. And she's still super hot.
