Christian Update

Chrsitan has been cleared to the return to the ring for some time now. However, the company has no plans for him right now and there are some in the WWE who feel he is too fragile to return to the ring and that he might not be brought back as a wrestler.

Comments

  1. I doubt WWE would get rid of him. He can stay as a talking head.

    ReplyDelete
  2. He should retire.

He has had a lot of concussions in his career and I don't think he needs the money

    ReplyDelete
  3. And that is a good career for him.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Is that before or after he shatters into a million pieces off a back bump?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Yeah, no complaints here. He can talk okay too so I guess a Manager role could even work down the line.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Commissioner Charisma?

    ReplyDelete
  7. "It is believed that Batista will return to the WWE but that will not be until some point in 2015."

I wish I jumped on the pro wrestling news website gravy train back in the 1990s so I could post wild speculation as a news story and get page hits.

I would've made dozens of dollars by now.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Have Christian come out to announce retirement, basically do the same thing as Edge three and a half years ago. Sure, Edge>Christian but it would still be a nice tough.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Dwayne Bowe or Justin Forsett, who's better for my fantasy bench?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I referenced the link. I just briefly paraphrased it but the more detailed description is for elite subscribers

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'd like to see Christian work one last match.

    ReplyDelete
  12. That's the way I'm leaning too. I'd better add him now before someone else does. Besides I have Jennings and that Hunter dude from tn on my bench as wrs anyways. Hopefully Forsett will end up as the full time rb for this year even though he's just a 29 year old journey man

    ReplyDelete
  13. He made a world of difference for TNA....................................

    ReplyDelete
  14. And for everyone who thought I was crazy for picking 2.79 as the RAW rating, it is expected to fall between 2.8 and 2.9

    ReplyDelete
  15. Isn't that rating pretty bad?

    ReplyDelete
  16. He still better than Bowe. Bowe's a guy like Torrey Smith where not having him might burn you like one or two times a year but crap the rest.

    ReplyDelete
  17. That's a success for them yeah?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm not talking about ratings wise. I'm talking about insight he can provide to youngsters. NXT is not the place for him. He cares about THIS BUSINESS too much.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I am a fan of Christian but I wouldn't be sad to see him hang it up. He gets hurt too easily and there's really not much left that we haven't seen him do, plus he's had so many "returns" there's not even any diminishing left to be done.

    ReplyDelete
  20. So Christian's ring career is winding down? Ok, fine. Why not use him for one last major angle? Have him win some kind of battle royal and challenge Brock for the World title. For one last shot at the title (ONE MORE MATCH) the fans would absolutely get behind Christian. Give Christian a big hope spot (maybe Edge runs in and whacks Brock with a chair) before Brock breaks his fucking arm and ends his career. You'd get a unique match to promote, a story fans could invest in, and Brock adding to his death list without having to sacrifice a younger top guy. Also, Christian won't be Big Show.

Overall I don't get why they don't use guys like Christian, Rey, RVD, and Y2J more strategically. Promote them for one huge MAIN EVENT match and have a heel beat them decisively-- remove Rey's mask, shave RVD's head, retire Jericho etc.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Not against MNF

    ReplyDelete
  22. I think he would be an awesome mouthpiece/manager for a young NXT stable coming up on RAW. Hell, I think he would be a better mouthpiece for Kofi and Big E than Xavier is!

    ReplyDelete
  23. ROH is a feeder system for WWE, NJPW, and TNA. Having Christian as a coach at NXT would be the best spot for him WWE-wise.

    ReplyDelete
  24. THANK YOU. This would be a much better use of the one month lame duck challenger than fucking Big Show.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It's still only slightly higher than last week's Labor Day episode, right?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Also, I'm all for a Renee Young & Christian broadcast booth. Keep Cole in there for a 3-man booth if you absolutely need your corporate puppet (though I'm sure Renee could handle saying WWE universe 50 times per show but actually not make it grating). But JBL and King really have to go. Can't state enough how badly those two suck.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Brock Lesnar Vs Christian? On a PPV?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yeah I'm cool with the idea of him being an on-air personality, I just think he's run his course as an active wrestler.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yup. Christian's a guy they could easily heat up to that level if they tell the right story on TV.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Christian might die.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It's not a real fight.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'd rather have a a commentary booth consisting of Siri, Chewbacca, and Gilbert Gottfried at this point over the Cole/Lawler/JBL trio.

    ReplyDelete
  33. No but Lesnar matches tend to be pretty stiff and Christian is not the sturdiest guy these days.

    ReplyDelete
  34. To be fair I missed all of Christian's singles run as I stopped watching a long time while he was still tagging with Edge (i think). Just can't imagine him as a top guy - what big names has he beaten on PPV?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Make him wear a helmet.

    ReplyDelete
  36. With a fist on top?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Because the booking is short sighted

    ReplyDelete
  38. "I... didn't catch that, Chewbacca. Do you want to do a web search for hhhrrrrawwwgghhhnn?"

    ReplyDelete
  39. No I get ya, but we're talking one last match here.

    ReplyDelete
  40. After watching that classic TNA three-way again yesterday, I wonder what you all think about aerial wrestlers. I know some hate the "flippy-floppy" or "flippety-floppity" or whatever but I like well-rounded aerial wrestlers who can fly as well as work a mat-based style. I'm not a big RVD fan because I think he's too dependent on his big spots but a guy like AJ Styles can wrestle any style and adapt to his opponent.

A guy like Jack Evans was fun to watch but there was no substance/psychology to his matches but sometimes high-spot affairs are enjoyable. I hate when old-timers downplay aerial maneuvers as I understand that some think that they're overdone to the point of having no impact but some wrestlers pick their spots. Like Rey in his prime. Plus I think the athleticism is downplayed when it should be emphasized.

Adrian Neville will be an interesting case. That guy's short performance on RAW was awesome to watch because the speed of his offense was amazing. I know he's not a good promo nor has much of a character (as is the usual slam against aerial wrestlers...but is the lack of character their fault? Or because the powers-that-be don't really give them a chance to shine outside of the ring?) but it'll be intriguing to see how he's pushed moving forward.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think some people became anti-aerial because they didn't like the internet fans who praised the cruiserweights to the detriment of heavyweights. I love watching fast-paced aerial matches, especially if they have an actual flow and aren't all Jack Evans-y.

    ReplyDelete
  42. He had the WHC run in 2011, in which he beat Del Rio (at his most credible) and had an awesome series with Orton.

The thing is, if they tell the right story not of that matters. Christian's a long time veteran that fans really love, and they buy him as a star. Maybe not a tippy top main eventer, but a star. For one match with a one month build you could craft an amazing story around Christian challenging Lesnar.

    - The distinct possibility that it's Christian's LAST MATCH, the end of a long career. Fans will get behind that.

    - Christian won the #1 contender battle royal, but now he has to face Brock? What if Brock kills him?! Well Christian doesn't care, he's gonna face the most dangerous man alive no matter what happens. Fans will get behind that.

    - Christian has one shot to go from "pretty good wrestler" to "all time great" in one match. Fans will get behind that.

    - Edge comes back to at first talk Christian out of it, but then the next week he decides that he's 100% in Christian's corner. Edge gives the rah rah speech to his best friend. Fans will get behind that.

    - Christian wins a few matches against strong guys (Luke Harper, Cesaro, Sheamus) to show the world he's at the top of his game.

You could easily get 4-5 great weeks of TV and a red hot match out of an angle like that--- all leading to Brock again going over and becoming that much more hated.

Or, ya know, you could do Big Show cause he's big and all.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'd be happy if Christian can become the next ex-wrestler-turned-commentator. Guy knows how to talk, sell a story/angle, and he'd do a great job as a color guy. Plus it'd keep him healthier than taking bumps. God knows he's beaten the crap out of himself in all the TLCs more than enough for our entertainment.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Batista should probably come back pissed off at Triple H. They he can have his retirement match at WM.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Not for nothing, it'd be pretty cool if the Rumble in 2015 came down to Reigns and Batista again, with Reigns redeeming himself this time. Plus, you know they hate history in general, but love their Rumble callbacks on commentary.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I wonder how many booking meetings about potential title challengers involve one of the writers saying, "Weeeell... (sigh) well there's the Big Show."

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yeah but the thing is, Christian isn’t at the top of his game. He has an old man body and is quite banged up from the sounds of it. I don’t want Big Show/Lesnar either but the Christian option is only better from the perspective that it isn’t Big Show. Don’t think anyone would buy Christian as a credible threat to Lesnar… think he’s more the kind of person Lesnar would interrupt during a promo and destroy to send a message to someone else

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think Christian would be best used working house shows against NXT talent. Get them some time in the spotlight with a recognizable face who can guide them in front of crowds of 2,000+ people.

Keep him in shape enough that he can fill in on TV when the roster is light or throw him out in the Rumble to help call the match for 15 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  49. [checks venue for the Rumble]

HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would enjoy the crowd reaction.

    ReplyDelete
  50. For a lot of people, Monday Night Football is a bigger deal than Labor Day.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Or they could go with the finish everyone was begging for last year? Looks like the timing will be about right

    ReplyDelete
  52. I can't tell if you're a parody artist or if you're insane.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The Love-Matic Grampa!September 10, 2014 at 9:26 AM

While I'm not sure Christian is the right guy for that particular role, I agree with your overall point about WWE's use of vets. It still annoys me that HBK retired Flair, and then Taker retired HBK only to drop the Streak to the one guy besides Cena who really didn't need it (which is why no one saw it coming). There's three big wasted opportunities to build new stars right there. Add in stuff like Edge never putting over Del Rio before retiring (and Del Rio leaving before putting anyone over strong) and Rey never giving anyone a real rub before his exit and it points to an ongoing problem of the next generation never really getting their due from the previous one and thus never really getting to the next level.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yeah, WWE kind of limited themselves after the 2014 Rumble crowd disaster by booking Rumble 2015 in the smark capital of the world. Not a smart move.

    ReplyDelete
  55. The Love-Matic Grampa!September 10, 2014 at 9:28 AM

    You win.

    ReplyDelete
  56. This could only be better if ticket sales were only done in person in the Philly, New York and Chicago metros.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I'm pretty sure Christian's the only suggested contender with lower odds to win than Big Show.

    ReplyDelete
  58. The Love-Matic Grampa!September 10, 2014 at 9:31 AM

Or, ya know, they could do Big Show cause he's big and all.

Hey, everyone knows you gotta see The Big Show in person to appreciate how big he really is. His hands are like frying pans!

Besides, how can Brock possibly beat a man he's easily beaten many times before over the last decade? Don't YOU want to pay $9.99 to find out?

    ReplyDelete
  59. "OH THERE'S A BIG SURPRISE THAT YOU SAI THAT SIRI, I THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK AND DIE, FROM THAT SURPRISE!"

    ReplyDelete
  60. Sure, but it's all in the storytelling. There's no way to get fans to give half a shit about another Show/Lesnar match, or Show getting another title match.

But a guy like Christian is an opportunity for really compelling stuff. And unlike with show, you could get fans to WANT Christian to win, and that's all that matters.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I was always confused by Christian's health until a couple years ago.

It felt like E&C and the Hardys had a ladder match every week from 2000 to 2001 and it showed. Edge was constantly hurt, spinal fusion et al. until retiring from injuries. Both Hardys had massive painkiller addictions. And yet, somehow, Christian was ... fine.

It sucks that it finally caught up to him but he's definitely made out the best of the four.

    ReplyDelete
  62. They tried that with Christian-Del Rio last year. That boat has LONG since sailed.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I also think the nature of the business is just different. If there's even a concern that you MIGHT have a concussion, you might be kept off of TV for weeks. Lord knows how often he had "little" injuries that today would keep you off TV, that they just used to work through then.

    ReplyDelete
  64. It's all about storytelling and creating a compelling angle on TV, and you could absolutely do that with Christian for one month. It's so shortsighted to just say "Christian can't be a credible threat." Is he physically, on the surface? No, but guess what--- you craft a story that makes fans believe. Christian's got a long career as a pretty well known star full of fan support and memorable moments and title wins that you draw from to make him seem credible. He's great in the ring, so show him being crafty and pulling off some moves that might be the trick against Lesnar.

It's so ridiculously limiting and shortsighted to make the case that you need someone that's 500 pounds to face Lesnar, or that you can't craft a compelling angle with a guy like Christian. That's the kind of shit that leads to us getting the same 3 matches over and over again.

    ReplyDelete
  65. While I agree with this statement, just remember that guys like Austin and Rock didn't need to beat HUGE stars to become the HUGE stars they did. Austin beat HBK sure, but he was pretty much established by the time he beat Taker.

Rock on the other hand, got over beating on his mic work alone, and didn't really have memorable wins over established guys outside of Foley.

    ReplyDelete
  66. If Bo Dallas started wearing a helmet for safety, he would easily be favorite midcarder.

    ReplyDelete
  67. He's also had by far the least amount of personal issues. In fact, I can't think of a single scandalous story involving Christian.

    ReplyDelete
  68. ONE MORE MATCH

    ReplyDelete
  69. Wasn't the most scandalous thing that Edge got into, well, Lita?

    ReplyDelete
  70. You have to give Christian credit though. There is something about him that just brings out the most irrational in fans.

There was a time for Christian to be champion, and that time was 2005.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I wonder why no one has ever attempted to level the playing field by challenging Big Show to a frying pan match.

    ReplyDelete
  72. A managerial or announcing role for Christian wouldn't be the worst thing in the world at all. Vince has never been sold on him as anything more than a tag wrestler, and those days are long gone anyway. The resurgence of Heyman and the rise of Lana & Dutch have shown that managers are still a valuable resource, and Christian has always been good on the mic. If it keeps him around, employed, and utilized while still being good for his health, I'm all for it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonSeptember 10, 2014 at 9:46 AM

You want him to die, huh?
The last time I saw a Christian getting persecuted like that was when was when I watching that special about Roman gladiators on the History Channel.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonSeptember 10, 2014 at 9:46 AM

Make it a suit of armor and we'll have many buys.

    ReplyDelete
  75. *insert Family Guy cutaway here*

    ReplyDelete
  76. Christian should appear in each backstage segment, reacting sarcastically to everything that happens.

    ReplyDelete
  77. The Love-Matic Grampa!September 10, 2014 at 9:49 AM

I'd argue that Steve Austin doesn't become STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN without that feud with Bret. And the remarkable thing is that Austin never actually beat Bret, but still emerged as the bigger star because those matches established him as a tough son of a bitch. Rock is a bit of an outlier because few guys are going to get over on the sheer force of personality the way he did. If you don't have that once-in-a-lifetime level charisma, then I think you need some kind of rub from the older generation.

I also think it provides a much-need sense of continuity for fans. You see guys emerge, become huge stars, and then wind down as new fresh talent steps up to challenge them. If the vets just turn back every challenge from the youngsters and retire triumphant (or worse, retire at the hands of a another nearly-retired vet), well, that's all well and good for them. But it leaves the new guys short.

"You have to give Christian credit though. There is something about him that just brings out the most irrational in fans."

It happens with most debates about religion.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonSeptember 10, 2014 at 9:50 AM

I can safely say that was the dirtiest thing Edge has ever done.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I actually think the old timers fall into 2 camps. You had the guys like Mike Graham, who seemed to not like it because it was something they couldn't do, then there were others who thought that the "indyriffic" style was devoid of psychology and made holds and attacks which would have led to finishes become transitional or almost not even count. While I don't want to go back to atomic drops being a finisher, I think when a guy kicks out of 3 consecutive top rope vertebreakers followed a 2 Styles clashes and a falcon arrow, it probably exposes the business to comical levels and puts wrestlers at undue risk.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Taker was a pretty huge star too though.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Who here wants Christian to be champion?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonSeptember 10, 2014 at 9:51 AM

    He'd get neutered like JBL.

    ReplyDelete
  84. You want to be a legit contender to Brock.

    ReplyDelete
  85. He also got named for buying HGH in that Sports Illustrated article and openly admitted to using steroids. Never failed a Wellness Test though.

He also had two very short marriages, the first of which (to Val Venis' sister) ended after it came to light that he was knocking boots with Lita.

None of that is on the level of fuck-ups of the Hardy brothers, but still a lot more controversial than anything that ever came out about Christian.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonSeptember 10, 2014 at 9:52 AM

*Heyman comes out* "Who here wants to see my client..BRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOCK LESNAR, rip Christians legs off and tie them around his neck like a bow tie?"

  87. HOW MUCH DOES THAT GUY WEIGH?

    ReplyDelete
  88. I still have my issue of Tiger Beat with Edge and Christian on the cover.

    TGGI

    ReplyDelete
  90. Poor Batista, gets top billing in the Daily Update and gets ignored for millions of Christian comments. He just can't win lol.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Actually, the second marriage was the one that ended after the Lita stuff came to light, as it was the second wife who actually ratted Edge out to Mat Hardy, who then handled it with the maturity of a ten year old.

    ReplyDelete
  92. There was a really hilariously (to me) dry moment right before Edge married Val's sister. Edge and Val had a match on Raw and Val won cleanly. Afterwards, Edge got on the mic and said, "Val, you were the best man tonight... but you WON'T be the best man at your sister's wedding. (awkward pause) Because Christian is." End of segment, never referenced again, and this was before Edge's character had any sense of humor.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonSeptember 10, 2014 at 9:57 AM

I think she ratted Edge out for taking steroids as well.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Makes sense to me. Thanks for correcting me!

Imagine if Twitter was around when the Matt Hardy/Edge/Lita thing went down? Matt was annoying enough as it was without it, but could you imagine his tweets?

    ReplyDelete
  95. We're still running with "everyone hates Reigns," yeah? alright.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I agree. I think they are correct in considering him fragile. He has been much more injury prone over the last few years and that's not unusual given his age and wrestling style.

    ReplyDelete
  97. For one storyline and one match, yeah. It's something interesting that I think they could do.

And personally it's not even because I'm some giant Christian fan or anything, it's just that they could really create a compelling angle with a veteran like Christian (or RVD or Rey or Jericho) getting one last shot at the title against the biggest monster ever. Lesnar's SUCH a monster heel, it's a perfect opportunity to do something different and match him up against a veteran underdog babyface who the fans will WANT to win even if in the end he won't.

Or, ya know, just go with Big Show cause he big.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Why didn't you just give your ECW answer in the ECW QOTD

    ReplyDelete
  99. The Love-Matic Grampa!September 10, 2014 at 10:03 AM

Part of the problem is thinking the current creative team can come up with a compelling angle to get fans behind Christian. The same creative team currently bringing us All My Bellas on live TV every week. A feud with Big Show requires no deep thinking on their part because, well, he's BIG. And you don't have to spend half a day trying to explain it to Vince.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I don't think anyone hates Reigns, I just think they're being REALLY premature with this Wrestlemania title win. And since one of these stops is in smirk heaven, they MIGHT have a problem.

Just look at last year's show, and that was in PITTSBURGH.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I've never understood the love for Christian, he's a decent hand but the idea that he should have ever been near the world title outside of the bush league is laughable. He was never in his life that over or that believable a character. I'd love to see him move to commentary if this was 1998 and he'd be allowed to speak in his own way, since that hasn't happened in ten years I can't imagine he'd be any better at than anyone else at parroting whatever's in the earphones.

Batista's already signed for a GotG sequel, if he does come back I seriously doubt it would be for anything more than to put someone over and leave Jericho style.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Batista is old and next year will more than likely be even older.
Christian hasn't brought much to the table in a decade.
That's all that I have to say about that.

    ReplyDelete
  103. He'll even start pronouncing "Michael" as "Maggle"

    ReplyDelete
  104. No, we're running with 'Philly won't have it'. I like Reigns but think he isn't ready and don't think Vince's erection understands that.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Not next year, but the year after... I want a moment where Rollins, Ambrose, and Reigns notice they have to triple team a guy to get him out, do so, and then a Shield Fist Bump to a massive pop.

You know... before being thrown out by Big Show or Kane.

  110. Don't get me wrong, he's really good, he's just in my opinion more like a fixture in the US/IC scene good, never "this guy should get a world title run because he had some good promos in 2004" good.

  115. Classic. But only if they both wear helmets.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Haven't read any of the other comments, but it would be awesome if Daniel Bryan made a surprise return at the Rumble at #29.....

And Batista would be a surprise entrant at #30, and would toss him out in 10 seconds.

Oh come on, imagine the delicious meltdown!!!

    ReplyDelete
  117. I think the idea of Christian vs. Lesnar has some legs to it, but I wouldn't put it on PPV by any stretch.

Rather, I would start with a RAW a couple of episodes away from sweeps week or a couple of weeks away from when RAW is going against a big game on Monday Night Football or some other ratings-stealing event.

I would have Christian suddenly appear and cut an in-ring promo in which he goes over the highlights of his career and begins to hint at retirement.

Suddenly, Paul Heyman interrupts and says nobody cares about Christian because what the audience should be concerned about is the future decimation of Brock Lesnar's next PPV opponent (Cena?).
This leads to a back-and-forth verbal battle that ends with Heyman falling victim to the Unprettier as a smiling Christian leaves the ring.

A shaken and dazed Paul Heyman appears in a backstage segment later in the show to announce that he has just spoken with Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is feeling generous and has decided to make a rare wrestling appearance in two weeks on RAW in order to wrestle Christian in a 'No DQ' match as a tune-up for Cena ( or whomever) at the PPV.

Christian contemplates the ramifications of wrestling Brock Lesnar before accepting the challenge.

The announcers go into hype mode ("call your friends 'cause in two weeks, live here on RAW, Christian goes one-on-one with 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar!")

Several video packages are shown over the next two weeks of WWE programming that highlight Christian's career with copious footage of his TLC matches, partnership with Edge, and success as a singles performer. Heck, include comments from Edge talking about his feelings on Christian, et.al.

Fast-forward to the match now taking place on RAW. A nervous but determined Christian is able to stave off Brock's onslaught with fast footwork, eye gouges, cheap shots, and other heel-esque tactics that Cena ( or whomever) would not or could not do.

Heyman is going ballistic as a dazed Brock sits in the corner while Christian retrieves a couple of steel chairs and a ladder from under the ring. The crowd and the announcers immediately recognize the significance. Just as it appears Christian is on the verge of getting the upper hand, Lesnar springs to life and absolutely brutalizes Christian to the point Christian is clearly unconscious. Brock continues pounding on a prone Christian long after the bell rings as an army of referees (and even a startled Paul Heyman attempt to pull a snarling Brock Lesnar off of a decimated Christian.

The next we see of Christian is a few weeks after where he is now a WWE announcer / panelist that personally testifies to the savagery of Brock Lesnar.

Classic, but when Batitsta hits the Batista bomb, Christian will get injured and Batista will be too gassed to get the pin.

  128. Christian is an amazing wrestler and he could have an all time classic match with lesnar. Plus the wwe has pushed him pretty hard in recent years so I do think Vince sees him as a jobber main event guy so this isn't even that far fetched. I'd absolutely love to see that match, fans would total end up getting behind Christian and giving lesnar even more heat for his win. And you don't have to job a current young star like the shield or Cesaro or even Orton who will be around till the 2020's. This would be a great idea all around.

  129. I could see that.

Unrelated thought: Jason Hervey plays about the greatest role of dickhead older brother ever. Just a total fucking turd
