Daniel Bryan Update

In doing promotional work for "Total Divas," Brie Bella said that doctors have told her husband, Daniel Bryan, will not need a second operation as expected. Bryan is currently going through rehab and is slowly gaining strength in his right arm. Although there is no timetable set for his return, the hope is that he will be able to come back in three months.

Michael Elgin Update

Elgin, who dropped the RoH Championship to Jay Briscoe this past weekend at "All-Star Extravaganza 6," was not originally scheduled to lose the title at this show. According to several sources, Elgin's work visa had expired and the word making rounds is that it will take 90 days to get the paper work back in order. As far as Elgin's status with RoH, he is still signed with the company and has not been fired.

WWE Stable Not Done?

This past weekend, Kofi Kingston & Big E teamed together, with Xavier Woods at ringside, and acted as the heels in a match against the Ascension.

  1. I'll say it again about Daniel, TAKE YOUR TIME. Long term health > just about everything else.

And I blame Zeb Colter for Elgin's troubles.

  2. Nope. Piles of cash > long term health

  3. Classic or Clusterfuck?

    Brock Lesnar vs Dusty Rhodes

  4. Millions and millions of dollars, millions and millions of dollahs?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Are the Scots gonna pull off the upset? Or is it #CameronWinsLOL again?

  6. "He's coming here uninvited and taking a good job from an American wrestler. WE THE PEOPLE!"

  7. Interesting. I would say clusterfuck but Dusty knew how to brawl and whip the crowd up so a bloody match where he bumps for Lesnar and times his comebacks well (which Dusty knew how to do) could be fun.

Finally some good news with Bryan, Rumble return looking likely.

  9. If healthy, they should have him return then

    ReplyDelete
  10. Seeing the news about Bryan made me happy! This has been a rarity as a wrestling fan lately. Can't fucking wait til he gets back. And can't wait for that pop when he does return.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Wonder if RoH regrets taking the belt off Cole now. I know it's all hindsight but I'm sure the higher ups weren't very pleased.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Finally some good news about Bryan. Arumble return would blow the roof off the place.

    ReplyDelete
  13. You guys do realize that there's a 99% chance that Daniel's first feud will be with Kane right? They had an unresolved issue, PLUS Kane is to blame for his injury, storyline wise. You will all have to DEAL WITH IT.

    ReplyDelete
  14. You know, I don't even care if that's the case. It's Daniel Bryan, he's fucking awesome and more over than anyone else in the company.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yeah but first he's gonna win the Rumble, then he'll feud with Kane at the February PPV, then he'll go on to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania!! YEAH!! Fuck Roman Reigns!

    ReplyDelete
  16. That could very well happen. I just know how all of you love Kane and Big Show, so I just wanted to soften the blow for when it inevitably happens.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Big Show isn't that bad. I don't get the absolute hatred for him.

    ReplyDelete
  18. He's over 6 feet tall and over 230 lbs. That is an unforgivable sin.

    ReplyDelete
  19. He's slow, boring, been around too long, not gonna do anything we haven't seen him do before, isn't a believable threat anymore, is a waste of opponent for Lesnar, etc

    ReplyDelete
  20. He's boring as shit and has been for over a decade, doesn't really contribute anything to the show and keeps on getting pushed to main-event status just by the virtue of being big. His main-event angles are not ratings or PPV draws and his matches are terrible as well.

    ReplyDelete
  21. You're right. They should be pushing Big Show to the moon! Maybe that'll actually get you to watch the show you keep on defending!

    ReplyDelete
  22. So he's an occasional "opponent of the month" during the dead periods, where he constantly loses. Doesn't really hurt anyone, and he's still very over with the casual crowds. Just like Kane, he simply does not bother me at all.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Of course it doesn't bother you...you don't WATCH the show!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. The problem isn't Kane specifically, it's booking the world champion to be running away in fear from Kane like it's a bad horror movie.

By the way, tread carefully with the "unresolved issues with Kane" point. Jesse Baker will be back to book an angle that will somehow work in the unresolved issues between Kane and Zack Ryder from three years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  25. He'll add "that lazy f*ck" Brock Lesnar into it too, I'm sure.

    ReplyDelete
  26. So you take pride in watching a weekly 3 hour show that makes you miserable? Somehow, I don't think I'm the one looking bad here.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I didn't say I'm miserable. I'm a lifelong fan of WWE and want them to have a better show. Like if I was following a struggling sports team, I'd still want them to do well and improve. WWE, like a lot of fans here, is our team and we don't want them to be the Cubs-esque entity they are right now.

You're the one who keeps on making positive notes and complimentary about a stagnant show that you don't even watch.
