  1. I hope Neidhart tells us how he REALLY felt about the tag title change at Mania 7.

  3. Hopefully, FSU loses tonight. So Bama can be number 1, where they belong.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Gonna check NJPW later.

    The card is mostly filler.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Evening gents. Hopefully we have a better showing than last nights thread.

Is Neidhart going to be tweaking during the whole interview?

    ReplyDelete
  7. I cannot remember the last time I was this excited about a wrestler being injured.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'm not a huge fan of the guy... but you're not saying you're glad he's injured, are you?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Good little guys that'll give you a good little match.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Don't lead off with this. Save this stuff for garbage time.

(One of my first absolute favorite songs, by the way.)

    WHAT IF....

.....he was replaced with The Big Show tomorrow night?

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'm glad he's off TV for 3 months.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Do you hate him? Or just saying it will be good for him?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Season 9 of Supernatural rented on DVD. My weekend is set.

Plus, you know. The PPV tomorrow. And some fucking homework.

    ReplyDelete
  15. A mixture of both.

    ReplyDelete
  16. My girlfriend likes that one. I think the premise is fairly clever... Buffy, but with good looking dudes instead.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't think it's his fault that he's falling flat though. I honestly think he's doing the best he can with what's happening. It's just that his skill set doesn't justify his push.

If they treated Ziggler the same, he'd be hitting grand slams every night.

    ReplyDelete
  18. 411mania's new format is terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Supernatural ended at season 5, everything after that is bad with the exception of Weekend in Bobby's.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Meh...not quite. There's no chosen warrior, but if you want to boil it down to Good Guys vs Supernatural stuff, sure. Except, Supernatural eventually gets into God, demons, and angels. Good stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  21. FSU is a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  22. You, sir, can go not kiss a girl.

    Your taste is officially questionable.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I just liked when that one guy did Eye of the Tiger.

Of course, I like wrestling so I'm really in no position to pick on TV shows.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Insist they fix it! Or else, you'll...

    ...um...

    ...complain on another forum?

    heh.

    ReplyDelete
  25. He's only seventeen (seventeen)
He'll show you love like you've never seen

    ReplyDelete
  26. Alright Winger.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Time to finally switch over to InsidePul... ahahhahahahahaa... I can't... I can't get through it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. They need to put it to rest already.

It's been meandering along since 5.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Got a date in a little bit but I'd much rather stay home and keep watching football. Clemson is still going to get blown out.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yesterday I said I was hoping for a wellness pop. Sucks for reigns that Vince is gonna dick him on pay for a few months and he'll be "starved" out at home for awhile but not my fault wrestles didn't unionize and fight for better deals and health insurance/.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Nope. I'm still digging it. No one says you have to, but it is might be 2nd only to Sons of Anarchy to me, and I'm not even sure about that.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I've found myself picking on you a lot lately. You should know that it's all in jest, as I agree with you on most things and think you're a good poster that generally adds to the discussion here.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm sure he's compensated fairly.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wanna be freaked out? Go check out pics of Kip Winger when he played bass for Alice Cooper.

    ReplyDelete
  35. What? He'll be paid handsomely while injured

    ReplyDelete
  36. Didn't Ventura try and get that done back in the day?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Holy shit, how did I not know that until now!?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Do you follow acc football? Does Clemson suck that bad? Since dude is suspended I thought about betting them but they are only getting 10.5 or +300 on the money line. Not as good of odds as I hoped

    ReplyDelete
  39. The endless Saban worshipping by Gary Danielson has reached its apex. I'm ready to blackmail him so he will have to resign

    ReplyDelete
  40. :: shrug ::

I'm old enough to remember it as it happened.

    ReplyDelete
  41. He sells merch, probably has a nice downside and WWE will pay for his medical bills.

    I don't see the issue.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Damn. I read that first as InsidePaul, which started to take this into a whole different direction.

    ReplyDelete
  43. It's still a quality show, but you can't deny the quality has dipped since Kripke left.

If you saw Seasons 6 and 7, you can tell they didn't expect to go past S5 as planned.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Clemson is starting a suck-ass qb because he's a senior that paid his dues. They have a freshman qb that is the truth but starting him "sends the wrong message". It's about Clemson's qb not FSU's.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well I hope so for his sake but I hope he's saving his pennies

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yeah, and Hogan narc'ed on him to Vince for it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Inside Pulse is still a thing?

    ReplyDelete
  48. We already had sex so the motivation to give a shit is gone

    ReplyDelete
  49. Missouri... um... why is Indiana even within 20 points?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Well done! How long have you been seeing her?

    ReplyDelete
  51. You're acting as if he was snapped in half and would never wrestle again. He'll be back in a few months. Also, these guys have downside guarantees (and have for nearly 20 years) as a part of WWE. I think the main roster minimum is up to $115,000 per year... which is plenty to rest up and train a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I've heard 100 guys talk about getting back as soon as they could because they were making no money and watched the one of the biggest stars in the company walk away over money issues six months ago. I'd be suprised if he was getting more than a little money next month.

"I don't give guarantees, only opportunities."

    ReplyDelete
  53. So are you taking her to Home Town Buffet?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Cena in late 07 for me.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well, you make more money working... that's for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  56. He's gotta pay his own health insurance. Emergency medical surgery isn't cheap

    ReplyDelete
  57. And she already put out! Pimpimg!

    ReplyDelete
  58. ... and why are they leading with 22 seconds left?

    Shame, Missouri. Shame.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm actually pretty hungry. I haven't eaten since noon so it's going to be a real date.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Just saying, you can eat all you want and spend less than 30 bucks.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Divorce has turned me into a guy I swore I would never be.

    ReplyDelete
  62. WWE has generally taken care of their employees when surgery was needed. I won't say 100% but that's only because I don't know of an instance where they didn't. Also, I'm sure he has some form of private health insurance.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'll never complain about seeing an SEC team lose a non-conference game. Never.

    ReplyDelete
  64. OK. I only follow PAC 12, big 10 and sec so I didn't know shit about Clemson. I'll stay away

    ReplyDelete
  65. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 20, 2014 at 5:33 PM

Jennifer Lawrence strikes me as being an awesome girlfriend.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I'm not a buffet dude to be honest. I avoid Golden Corral like the plague. Just something about it.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Pull up a chair, pal. Have a scoop on the house. You've had a long day.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I've never heard it put better.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I have. I've seen them all. Find them all entertaining. I'd have to go back and watch from the start to pick out my fave. and, it's highly possible that they didn't expect to go longer than 5. That doesn't mean that they have sucked since. I like the show, and I'll keep watching til I don't, or it goes away.

Well, I'll still watch when it goes away, cause you know. Discs and Netflix.

I'll put it this way. I thought House was the best show on TV for awhile. Then he crashed a car through Cutty's house, endangering everyone in there, including a small child. I was out. Never watched another episode, because that seemed horribly out of character and it just spoiled the show.

If any show, including Supernatural, does something like that, I'll bail out.

Hell, once Mick retired the first time, I was pretty much off of wrestling until Punk and the Pipe Bomb sucked me back in. Seeing DBry for the first time pretty much sealed the deal. Now I stay for the occasional moments of brilliance I don't expect - like the way Cena vs Brock was booked at SS, and the BoD.

    But, shit can always change.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Without knowing which qb is going to get the majority of the snaps, staying away is the best bet.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Today's WHAT THE FUCK:

Indiana lost to Bowling Green. Who just took a 68-17 curbstomping at the feet of Wisconsin today. But they can beat Missouri?

In fairness, Missouri's been fattening up on the cupcakes, so I guess they were overrated.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Man you have really taken a turn to the dark side.

    #Proud

    ReplyDelete
  73. All bullshit aside they did lose the player of the year.

    ReplyDelete
  74. My worry for guys (even ones I'm not a fan) who wrestle is that they get fucked on the money. So if he's not then that's a good thing

    ReplyDelete
  75. i have wondered if the Affordable Care Act has made insurance more accessible to them.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Chris Martin agrees with you.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Honestly, I just can't invest in a relationship like that ever again. Even if I wanted to, I don't think I'm physically capable of it.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Well. Don't mind if I do.

    :: happy Hoss dance ::

    ReplyDelete
  79. Yes! I'm your black doppelganger

    ReplyDelete
  80. Piper tried to unionize Don Owen's boys in Oregon in the late 70s. Called it "E. Pluribus Fuckem." Made up a little hand-drawn flyer, was quite funny. Someone smartened him up real quick.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I really wish UCLA vs asu was on tonight

    ReplyDelete
  82. Destruction in Kobe sounds like the Lakers season last year...

    ReplyDelete
  83. LSU vs Miss St should be a good one. Part of me thinks Miss St. has been fed jobbers to make them look like a main eventer and they still do suck

    ReplyDelete
  84. I'm not the biggest fan honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  85. This season of soa is killing me (in a good way) because I love jax and I hate seeing him look like such a fool.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Maybe more accessible, but I wonder how that works considering they are working in every state. Do they just follow the guidelines of CT, being that's where WWE is located?

In NY state, the website is a bit different and an absolute nightmare.

    ReplyDelete
  87. They already lead LSU 7-0, but LSU is trying to tie it.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Noted. I'm pretty proud of this one.

    ReplyDelete
  89. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 20, 2014 at 5:41 PM

In Mother Colorado, Kobe destroys YOU.

    Against your consent.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I know there's a few grill/smoker enthusiasts on here... did my first beef ribs tonight. Smoked over hickory, then finished braising in Oktoberfest.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Sounds like one of those cows fell out of tree and smashed some shit

    ReplyDelete
  92. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 20, 2014 at 5:41 PM

What did MVP say when he saw the new J-Law and Hudgens leaks?

    I'M COMING!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Well, the key is not necessarily the web site, it's the guidelines. You can't be turned away, and there is no such thing as a pre-existing condition, as long as you get in during whatever the window is now. I'm sure there are plans with national coverage; they just wouldn't be cheap.

    ReplyDelete
  94. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 20, 2014 at 5:42 PM

I need a new place and more pay so I can get a grill. I miss tri-tip.

  95. Jennifer Lawrence bending over naked on a couch. #reddit

    ReplyDelete
  96. And Mississippi State with the goal line stand... this could be an ugly night in Death Valley.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Would be nice if someone actually covered this in an interview, though I suppose most don't give a shit.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Didn't know it started....let me switch over

    ReplyDelete
  99. I'm dragging this over here cause it's getting lost in an old thread, and I want you smarty-smart smarts to tell me how tardit I am for coming up with this. Here's how, and why, Seth Rollins should cash in and win the title tomorrow night:

30 minutes of brutal war ends when Cena hits Brock with a belly-to-belly
off the top, to the outside through the announce table, and Cena wangs
his head on the impact. You think it's a draw, it's announced as such,
paramedics and stretchers, everyone's putting over Cena for his
(pyrrhic) victory over the beast, "tune in tomorrow night on Raw for an
update on the conditions of--" then bam! Rollins' music, Triple H in
tow, Heyman shits himself, runs over to beg them off, Seth waffles him
with the briefcase, cash in, bell rings, Seth rolls Brock slowly in the
ring, struggling to pick up his dead unconscious weight, and as Seth is
climbing in after him, Brock stirs... just a bit... and just when it
looks like he's gonna come to and be able to fight back, CURB STOMP OFF
THE TOP. 1-2-3, new champ, find the funniest looking scowling fan in the
crowd, close up, Seth and Trips cele-retreat as the show goes off the
    air.

Yes, I know, Rollins jobbed to Reigns last week. Since when has that sort
of thing mattered in the Vinceiverse? On the Raw before he cashed in back
in November 2010, Miz chickenshitted out of a match against Cena and a
confrontation against Orton. Heels aren't typically supposed to fight and
win the noble fight, particularly those who are being booked as though
they're only in their catbird seat due to the munificence of the heel
    authority figures.

    It really
would tie up a lot of loose ends... Rollins has enough ready-made filler
title defenses separating him from WrestleMania 31. He draws tremendous
heel heat. Brock, the part-timer, can disappear for a little while, and
this frees him up for them to do the Brock v. Rock match at Mania that
Vince has has a boner for since two Mays ago. Heyman comes back around
in late February talking about how his client already conquered WWE by
winning the title, he never lost legit, but now he's bored with such
piddling things like belts; he now wants to conquer the man who's bigger
than WWE -- the man who left WWE in the dust and conquered Hollywood.
    Print the damn money.

LOLREIGNSWINS (might as well get an early
jump on it now) can still get his coronation at Mania (provided his
stomach doesn't explode or whatever first), and though beating Rollins
for the belt isn't quite as beating Lesnar would be, look at the caliber
of champions the last two Capital-G Guys beat when they first won the
big belt: Hogan beat Iron Sheik and Cena beat JBL. Not exactly all-time
legends. Plus there's the natural bad blood between those two from the
    Shield breakup.

Cena, meanwhile, can move on to defend traditional
American values like divorce and colorful t-shirts against the Evil
Russkie-ev, and don't lie and say that Cena/Undertaker or Cena/Sting at
WM doesn't at least intrigue you. And as for Dean Ambrose... cmon, how
often do the smarks get what they want two years in a row?

Just saw the runback on Goal Line, lol Spurrier.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I don't; gives more time for hundley to get better

    ReplyDelete
  106. So I was helping my mother clean out Parallax1922's house today and I found the ticket stub from when I went to see "No Holds Barred" with him in the theater in the 1980's... I don't have anything to add to that... I just thought it was cool.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Well I agree that they job the shit out of the briefcase guys before they win so his loss on Monday means nothing. But I just think taking the belt off Brock before you have the PERFECT scenario is a bad idea

    ReplyDelete
  108. I've never been able to take the Ol' Ball Coach seriously ever since he left his starters in for entire preseason game when he was coaching the Washington NFL Franchise.

    ReplyDelete
  109. That's a keeper. You could get it framed

    ReplyDelete
  110. I might. I've been trying to take a picture but the text is so faded it is hard to see.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Seahawks or Redskins?

    ReplyDelete
  112. It's raining and I'm watching the final season of Breaking Bad with the fiance.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Four years ago my girlfriend bought me an 18.5 inch kettle grill when I lived in the city. Through youtube, trial, and error... I taught myself how to be a grill master. I had zero yard (front or back) to grill, so I did so on the sidewalk and became a fairly popular guy in the neighborhood after that.

    ReplyDelete
  114. You don't remember him coaching the Skins in 2001? It was only a year but it was memorable for it's shittyness.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Edited for clarity.

    ReplyDelete
  116. *Spoiler Alert*

    It's good.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Miss St up 14 on LSU. Maybe they are forreal, but LSU pulls this crap all the time. They'll wake up in the second half

    ReplyDelete
  118. Well I shoukd have added I have a horrendous post work obligation Thursday night I agreed to before I knew the game was on then. Let me say, I wish it was NEXT Saturday (or even Friday night) too

    ReplyDelete
  119. I know.

I'm re watching it and she's seeing it for the 1st time.

    ReplyDelete
  120. That's a pretty cool thing to find. Nice to know that he kept it.

    ReplyDelete
  121. One thing that really bugs me with college football is when the polls come out. Is it so hard to wait until mid october? No one knows how good or bad a team is until then. UCLA had a tough game against virginia but virginia has played several really great games. South Carolina beat Georgia to move up to 14 but Georgia might lose a bunch of games this year.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I was just breaking his balls a little

    ReplyDelete
  123. I know, right?

  126. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 20, 2014 at 5:50 PM

The one that chaps me is Stanford ahead of USC. Yeah, USC lost to an unranked team, but they're both 2-1 and USC beat Stanford at Stanford.

    ReplyDelete
  127. The tv people would be lost without the polls.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I have the day off along with the rest of my district (thank you jewish people)

    ReplyDelete
  129. I'm surprised she didn't blow up huge after the late 90s. The Glass House (2001) is a decent enough Netflix film with her in it.

    ReplyDelete
  130. He was weird like that. He kept the receipt every time we went out to eat. Like not just special occasions EVERY time... mom said she has had to get rid of thousands of them. I am really glad he kept this though.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Colleges keep finding ways to add seats to stadiums. I'm no engineer but that can't be safe. You got a 98,000 seat place and you some how find a way for 10,000 more seats?

    ReplyDelete
  132. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 20, 2014 at 5:53 PM

Awful movie (I was one of like 5 people who did see it in the theater) but she wasn't helped by having her lead film about kids in danger coming out a week or two after 9/11. But despite that, I always thought she was talented (and obviously, gorgeous, and I haven't even seen the leaks to enhance that opinion) and was discarded way too soon.

    ReplyDelete

More clown business from Jameis Winston: Coming out in full pads and uniform during warm-ups, gets sent to the back by Jimbo with a are-you-fucking-kidding-me look, Winston comes back out sans pads but still in uniform, and JImbo looks like he wants to punt Winston through the uprights and sends him back to the locker room again.

  151. This is probably the dumbest suspension in sports history. I don't blame him. Not his fault ray rice punched his wife 7 months ago. Everyone should chill out he was goofing around.

  152. See, if Vince sent a call out to HIM, he'd probably show up

    ReplyDelete
  153. Even Tony Dungy would welcome that distraction now.

  154. Holy shit...$3 for a movie. Now those were the days.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Very cool. She should enjoy that, chicks like thoughtful stuff like that.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I think you can build out & up. I'm not any kind of architect either though.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I haven't paid less than $10 for a movie in years

    ReplyDelete
  158. Wow I saw that in the theater too. Soooooooo bad

Body of work suspension, FSU is covering for not doing anything for the sexual assault allegations and the shoplifting.

  160. There are a lot of people speculating that this guy...

... tomorrow night for the most valued prize in sports entertainment.

  161. You though this didn't make me feel old enough already? lol.

  162. Someone else saves their stubs, cool, lol.

  163. will roger goddell be commissioner or not in 1 year? If no, resigns or voted out? If yes, how does he keep his job?

    ReplyDelete
  164. My grandfather, who passed away recently, apparently saved this. I found it today while helping clean out his house.

  165. Okay, this just confuses the heck out of me. No Holds Barred was released in June 1989 (and I'm pretty sure they filmed it while Savage was champ and Hogan took a break the year before). Yet, the ticket does look like it says 1988.

  166. Sappy bullshit stuff, but I knew it was for real on our first date.

I just love how broken the basic premise is. So the evil relatives have to hang onto them until they're 18 in order to collect the insurance money or whatever, and the dad basically terrorizes them and fucks that easy plan up.

  168. on kiper's board, he went from 3rd to 25th in just a couple weeks

He's falling for sure. Manziel fell with stuff that was more akin to "stupid college shit".

    The owners will protect him.

    ReplyDelete
  171. He yelled fuck her in the pussy as a joke, stole some crab legs and was accused of some shit that he never even got charged with. I can't see him as anything more than an average college kid.

    ReplyDelete
  172. He's very much a "made man" in the league. He'll be around for a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Only if sponsors stop with the "oh, we're STRONGLY worried" bullshit letters and start pulling out actual money for ad campaigns. Other than that, any vote would go 30-1 in favor of keeping him.

I was in college last year, most of the kids I knew didn't have a sexual assault investigation nor rape accusations that were swept under the rug by the police and administration. Puking in the gutter from a night of binge drinking is average college stuff.

  175. My dad took my younger brother, a friend of ours, and me to that movie right after my baby brother was born (I guess we just needed time away after the chaos of a new baby). Simpler times. I remember my brother and friend were scared and thought for sure Zeus was going to win.

  176. I'm out. Probably see ya'll in the football thread tomorrow. Looks like USC is going to do the job to Vandy anyway

I have yet to live in a place that charges double-digits. I feel lucky.

    Who's the 1? And there's 32 teams.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Nothing wrong with that... other than it makes me, and probably many others incredibly envious.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Ah, I see. Started doing it when I was 13 with Titanic (hey, the giant massive smash of a generation, lol). Go to 2-3 movies a week, I'm a big movie person, so there's a shitload of stubs in a drawer in my place.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Manziel fell more based on size and talent concerns though.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Sometimes, I don't think I'm a very good person. I delight in any article bashing him, his lies, and his hypocrisy.

    ReplyDelete
  183. GB is publicly owned, and I figure Tom Benson (owner of the Saints) would vote to fire his ass but quick.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Here's the thing... the NFL is one of the biggest conglomerates of obscenely rich white guys the world has ever known. Of course, they want to be seen in the right light... but they like winning even more. It's against the very fiber of their being to punish a guy for "off the field" activities if it means the possibility of a few more L's.

    ReplyDelete
  185. DBSM raped me!

    Now you're just like Winston!
