RIP Sean O'Haire?

Hey Scott,

Scotty Riggs is saying Sean O'Haire passed away.  Not sure if that's true or BS.  But thought you'd want to know.

Dave Tomlinson

Too bad if true, as I'd heard about him having pretty huge personal troubles in the years since he retired.

Comments

  1. You aren't telling me something that I don't already know.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Too bad he couldn't translate those video packages live, they were awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I doubt any of the casuals were watching back then + I'm sure the date of expiration has expired on the gimmick, so why not slap that gimmick on a newcomer to debut with or someone on the main roster that needs a reinvention?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Always amazes he never made it. He had the look and could work well enough. Sad news to hear.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I wonder what killed him?

    ReplyDelete
  6. I hope it's not true, I enjoyed his work.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Couldn't talk on a live mic. That's why the Devil's Advocate gimmick didn't carry over past the vignettes, apparently.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Sad if true. Still, I am grateful wrestlers don't die young as they did even 5 years ago. This is an unfortunate rare exception, if true (and hopefully not).

    ReplyDelete
  9. You see that coffin. Go ahead. Flip it over! It'll be shocking. And people will have a laugh. And in a place as sad as a funeral, that will be catharsis. People need it. But hey. I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.

    ReplyDelete
  10. R.I.P. MEAT - CrankyVince

    ReplyDelete
  11. But that was Shawn Stasiak...

    ReplyDelete
  12. I feel like we'd have more serious confirmation by now but I wouldn't be shocked.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Never let the facts interfere with a good one-liner.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Check out Comment 2 under Memories & Candles at the top.

    ReplyDelete
  15. He probably ends up as the next generations version of Sting if WCW never closes down.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'd recently been going through all of the WCW PPVs from 1999-2001 on the Network and had really come to appreciate O'Haire's work. He was a good talent.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I remember him being pegged as the next big thing when he and Jindrak were the WCW tag champs.

    ReplyDelete
  18. not sure if serious. He had a good look, but couldn't talk that well. More of a lighter weight Batista.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I thought he was one of the only reasons to watch the last days of WCW.. I really thought he would take off in the WWF.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I don't mean he becomes a direct copy of Sting. Just that he is probably the guy they build the company behind.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Plus he was a piece of shit in real life.

    ReplyDelete
  22. He was still young and new to the business back then. If he was motivated he could have developed decent promo skills with more experience. I just look at O'Haire as a guy with a bunch on untapped potential that was never realized.

    ReplyDelete
  23. "Celebration of Life" Jesus Christ does everything need some highfalutin bullshit name? It's a fucking funeral.

    ReplyDelete
  24. If true, R.I.P. Dude had a lot of talent but was never in the right place at the right time.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I think a few people on this board will probably refer to your funeral as a "Celebration Of Death"

    ReplyDelete
  26. You know it's legit by the liberal use of "brother".

    ReplyDelete
  27. and the fact that he signed his name.. indisputable.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It will be a forum exclusive obviously.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yup. There's every chance that his shitty personality (and had he been around post-wellness, his steroid habit) would have torpedoed him, but man, he was on TRACK in WCW during their death spiral and then got a second chance in the WWE and was doing really well until he got steamrolled by the Hogan/Piper angle.

    ReplyDelete
  30. He beat up women on more than one instance

    ReplyDelete
  31. I never knew that the O stood for Christopher.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Too bad. This guy was great in his short time in the bigs.

I wonder what killed him? It sounded like he had some personal problems.

    ReplyDelete
  33. This is a really bad week for woman beaters.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I thought they already did that with Bray Wyatt.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Guess it is true

    http://www.tributes.com/obituary/show/Sean-Christopher-Haire-101671208

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sad to hear. One can speculate how big he could have become in wrestling had he been capable of cutting a live promo...well...before the inevitable personal problems / demons did him in.

His Wikipedia says he was a hair stylist. Now, I usually believe everything I read on the internet, but is that true?

    ReplyDelete
  37. My guess is the Wrestler Special: heart attack caused by steroid use.

    ReplyDelete
  38. What happened to Stone Cold?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Possible, but I've found when it's suicide, for one reason or another, media write-ups usually say "found dead." "Died" seems to be used overwhelmingly often when it's (semi-)natural causes.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Real Scotty Riggs...someone is going around on Twitter making themselves the FAKE Scotty Riggs?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sting had a good look and could never talk at all.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I follow Scotty Riggs.
    He is the fucking man

    ReplyDelete
  43. Maybe so but my brain can't bear the proposition of an imposter.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Not the same thing. People called him the new Waylon Mercy because of the Hawaiian shirts and white pants and the new Sean O'Haire because he was all "dark" and "manipulative."

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ask him about the time he carried the flag for Luger.

    ReplyDelete
  46. PS WWE buried this guy by pairing him with obese, over the hill useless fuck Piper but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Or read about it in my sensational Scotty Riggs shoot interview recap

    http://www.rspwfaq.net/2014/04/rf-video-shoot-interview-with-scotty.html

    ReplyDelete
  48. I get it He's the Fucking Man because he fucked a lot of ladies, amirite?

    ReplyDelete
  49. He buried himself with a negative star PPV match against Rikishi.
He looked horrendous in that match

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ask Harvey Whippleman's wife

    ReplyDelete
  51. I only have the interest and attention span of a single tweet.

    ReplyDelete
  52. If they want to talk to you, you better not listen. You might wind up in critical condition.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Rikishi is fucking terrible. They could have debuted him against someone with talent. I cant believe that useless nepotist comedy gimmick fuck is going in the hall of fame.

Fuck Rikishi. I'd rather he was dead.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Watch the match. O'Haire was awful. It wasn't Rikishi's fault he wrestled the way he did.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I would...but who hasn't had her at this point? Except for Pat Patterson and the Brooklyn Brawler, anyway...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Rikishi couldn't work at all and was the most loathsome character ever after his two months of relevance in 2000 so I highly doubt that.

O'Haire had plenty of solid matches in WCW.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Rikishi is Anoa'i. He can work.

    ReplyDelete
  58. WWE changed his style and he could not work the way they wanted him to and the result was what we saw. He couldn't make the transition

    ReplyDelete
  59. I was tuned out when he had his WWE run, but one of my favorite moments was Jindrak and O'Haire basically squashing Luger and Bagwell at the last (I think? One of the last couple) WCW ppvs. I always wonder if wrestling attracts people with (supposed) personal issues or if wrestling gives them the issues. It's a spectrum I suppose. Those with a tendency to having issues with actual violence, drug use, etc. probably aren't done any favors when entering the wrestling lifestyle, I guess.

Longest thing I've ever written here. Back to lurking now...

    ReplyDelete
  60. See post: re Nepotism

They only Anoia'as who don't suck fucking ass are Yoko and Rocky.

The Usos would be fine if their gimmick wasn't putrid white meat bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  61. And yet, Rikishi was over. Go figure.

    ReplyDelete
  62. What way did they want him to work? What style? Like who? Did 2003 WWE have any vision

    One more time: Fuck Rikishi.

    ReplyDelete
  63. So you're saying they can work, but their gimmick doesn't let them?

Either they can work or they can't. The Anoa'i family has a pretty good track record. By the way, the Maivia branch (i.e. Rock) isn't related by blood.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 9, 2014 at 8:39 PM

Yoko could work, but Rikishi can't? Dafuq?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yes. re: The Usos. That's it. Four good Anoia's plus one dead in in Umaga. Bad track record.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yoko was a way better storyteller in ring than Rikishi.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Didn't he have Piper by that match? I THINK I remember that.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Rikishi was not over in 2003. Even a little bit. He was DONE by early 2001 and that he was around in 03 was insane.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 9, 2014 at 8:41 PM

What story did he ever tell besides "I'm really fat?"

    ReplyDelete
  70. His matches had an underdog and an arc.

Rikishi's matches had grown men allowing them to rub his ass in their face.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Rikishi was a tag team champion with Scotty 2 Hotty in 2004. I don't think he was DONE quite yet.

    ReplyDelete
  72. HHH had a nine month title reign and Big Show was main eventing multiple ppvs for the WWE title.

So no, 2003 WWE had no vision.

    ReplyDelete
  73. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 9, 2014 at 8:45 PM

They basically grounded O'Haire into a dull power hoss.

    ReplyDelete
  74. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 9, 2014 at 8:46 PM

"I'd heard about him having pretty huge personal troubles in the years since he retired. "

But you're not telling us anything that we don't already know.

Just spent the last few minutes catching up on his life/career.

I will not bury the guy even further. If only he had shaken JBL's hand the right way in 2001.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I'm going to have a party when Rikishi dies. With a cake and everything.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Sean O'Haire dying doesn't make him retroactively good.

    ReplyDelete
  80. How 'bout some Makin' a Difference Marble Cake with Sultan of Strawberry Frosting?

    ReplyDelete
  81. He legitimately could not work WWE-style.
Had a ton of athleticism and a great look but couldn't learn, despite being in developmental.

    ReplyDelete
  82. A talented wrestler got ruined by one of the worst I've ever seen when the business desperately needed stars.

    ReplyDelete
  83. He also couldn't speak in front of an audience.

    ReplyDelete
  84. WWE style in 2003 was brutally bad. Outside of Vengeance and WM19 that year was unwatchable m

    ReplyDelete
  85. He was ruined by his personal problems, his inability to speak in front of a live crowd and the fact that he just sucked in WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Says who? Proven by what? When did he get a chance? The god fucking awful Roddy Piper cut terrible promos for him fot Piper's heatless feud with Hogan.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Iron Sheik says my cake is good. It is the best. It has A to the Z for him.

    ReplyDelete
  88. They're unpredictable.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Dude, he sucked in the WWE.
YouTube a Velocity match and he sucked in those too.

    ReplyDelete
  90. That's why they brought in Hot Rod and that's why he only ever did the stuff in pre-tapes.

He struggled cutting promos in front of a live audience which is why his push didn't go further.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Uhhh that was just pathetic. Post WM 20 Smackdown was terrible desperation. Both guys were released soon after.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Stranger in the AlpsSeptember 9, 2014 at 9:01 PM

Remember when they were touting Bull Buchanan as an athlete because he could leap to the top rope in one jump?

That was Sean O'Haire. Atheleticism does not necessarily preclude "good wrestler".

    ReplyDelete
  93. Iron Shiek will make your cake HUMBLE.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Sorry Jared, I'm with the rest here. The dude just sucked in WWE and it wasn't just their fault. Plus his personal issues were bound to ruin him even if he got big.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I'm sensing Jared Bellow doesn't like Rikishi.

    ReplyDelete
  96. There is nothing. Ever. Ever. Ever. In Pro wrestling. That sucked as bad as Rikishi from heel turn to WWE release. Nothing.

Lita in front of 20 Mexican jobbers does not suck that hard.

    ReplyDelete
  97. What personal problems? I read the newz every day then and there was zero report of that. There was a useless fat Samoan fuck programmed with him and a useless fat old Scottish fuck who was the "mouthpiece" for him.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Hot Rod was the single worst thing about WWE in 2003. Holy Jesus fuck was he bad. I mean he had absolutely NO reason to have a contract. Just pathetic sad drunken drug addict dragging his half dead morbidly obese carcass on stage.

    ReplyDelete
  99. By 2006 he was reduced to picking fights with women. And no I don't by the excuse his failed wrestling career drove him to it, he was just a piece of garbage.

    ReplyDelete
  100. He was arrested twice for assaulting a woman.

    ReplyDelete
  101. His career actually IMPROVED after appearing on Heroes of Wrestling. Mad respect for that.

    ReplyDelete
  102. In 2006, O'Haire was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman at "Club Hypnotic" in June 2004,[1] but was found not guilty after the girl confessed that the allegations were not true. He was also involved in a fight in Hilton Head on March 30, 2007, in which he sustained fractures to his face and skull, including his orbital bone. As the result of the fight, the vision in his left eye was impaired. Although O'Haire claimed that he was going to the aid of a friend, witnesses asserted that O'Haire tried to instigate a fight with his alleged assailant, Juan Brantley. Brantley had filed a complaint with police on March 17, in which he stated that O'Haire had attempted to start a fight with him at another bar.[1]

On September 9, 2009, O'Haire was arrested in Georgia for allegedly choking out his girlfriend.[30] He was charged with battery and criminal trespassing before being released on $4600 bail,[30] but the charges were later dropped and O'Haire was found not guilty. On November 23, 2011, O'Haire was again arrested in Georgia and charged with battery.[31] He was later released on $1850 bail.[31]

    ReplyDelete
  103. Or listen to him chat with Steve Corino!

    http://placetobenation.com/the-steve-corino-show-episode-11-scotty-riggs/

    ReplyDelete
  104. Wow way to be a misogynistic asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  105. He wasn't on Heroes of Wrestling

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'm confused.
I thought Rikishi was the single worst thing about 2003 WWE

    ReplyDelete
  107. Fuck. That was Samu. My bad.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Fuck they both sucked. Goddamn 2003 was terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I agree with 2003 being terrible

    ReplyDelete
  110. Rikishi was really terrible in his 2000 heel turn, 2001, and 2002 and Piper gets a one year award. Although WCW 1997 Piper also sucks.

Come to think of it has Roddy Piper contributed anything positive to wrestling since the mid 80s?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Proud of it too. Fuck that useless whore.

    ReplyDelete
  112. The guy had B+ hair.

    ReplyDelete
  113. My fondest memory of this guy is how huge he was, and how he OWNED the Swanton. I know WCW had a thing for ripping off WWE guys, but if you ask me, it was more impressive to see Sean O'haire do the Bomb than Jeff.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Also fuck feminists, fuck jezebel, fuck people who feel sorry for the celebutwats whose nudes got leaked and fuck you john t cole

    ReplyDelete
  115. We got a rebel.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Uh huh. And Janay Palmer was asking for it as well.

    ReplyDelete
  117. So he had incidents after his WWE release with zero guilty pleas or convictions?

    ReplyDelete
  118. I always kinda sorta preferred Jindrak.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Devil's Advocate Sean O'Haire had an A+ mane.

    ReplyDelete
  120. She's still with him! Hurr durr victim blaming.

It's clearly her fragile psychological complex as a woman that makes her stay with a horrible abuser, but women are much more intelligent, strong and independent than men. Hurr durr internet feminism.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Jindrak was terrible and had zero upside.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I remember watching him do it on Nitro and seeing Jeff do it on Raw and thinking the smaller guy should change his move because he got shown up.

    ReplyDelete
  123. He also got buried in developmental after the purchase for not shaking Taker's hand or some such shit.

    ReplyDelete
  124. davidbonzaisaldanamontgomerySeptember 9, 2014 at 9:32 PM

To be fair, I never carry change on me these days anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Or start a thread about him in the forums!

    rspwfaq.boards.net

    ReplyDelete
  126. Seems like the crazies have been coming out a lot lately.

    ReplyDelete
  127. RIP Sean O'Haire, a genetic freak and a big building block of what could have been WCW.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Is Jared Bellow having a mini-meltdown?

    ReplyDelete
  129. Obviously hates all women who aren't inflatable, judging by one of his posts below. On the bright side, at least that means he won't be breeding.

    He's anti establishment.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Apparently Chris Brown registered an account herr. Who knew?

    ReplyDelete
  133. Perhaps his life would have turned out better if he wasn't undermined by ridiculous political bullshit during his WWE tenure.

But I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Rikishi-Sized, possibly

    ReplyDelete
  135. BTW Brock Lesnar got to look like a million bucks EVERY TIME he tossed Rikishi around the ring in 2002.

Remind me again what Sean O'Haire's excuse for not looking good against Rikishi was?

Face it, not even Benoit could make him look good in their match on Smackdown.

    ReplyDelete
  136. So.... Jared Bellows is the WCWinsertyearhere of Sean O'Haire? Because like TNA, O'Haire sucked a bigger cock than Lita.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Jesse Baker? Is that you in a disguise?

    ReplyDelete
  138. The topic is "RIP Sean O'Haire", not "Rip Sean O'Haire"

    ReplyDelete
  139. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 9, 2014 at 10:12 PM

By "crazies" you mean "jerkoffs", right?

    ReplyDelete
  140. RIP Sean O'Haire.

But seriously, a "celebration of life"?
Bill Maher is right, fuck these politically correct pansies.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Only a matter of time until it becomes immortalized in the meltdowns section of the forums.

    ReplyDelete
  142. "There is nothing. Ever. Ever. Ever. In Pro wrestling. That sucked as bad as Rikishi from heel turn to WWE release. Nothing."

Great Khali wants to take you up on that bet. :P

    ReplyDelete
  143. WrestleMania 8 says hello. WrestleMania 12 also nods in your direction.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I'm chucking Chris Masters first full run in here. Did absolutely nothing for me. Just barely passable in the ring.

    ReplyDelete
  145. My favorite Rikishi memory is probably him hitting a splash from the top of a cage onto Val Venis. My favorite Rikishi match is the electric opener he had with Too Cool against ECK.

    ReplyDelete
  146. When they put Jindrak and O'Haire over Rey and Konnan on that Nitro out of nowhere it really made me sit up and take notice at both.

That double toss over the top rope from the outside they'd always do to the cruisers ruled.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Even if that stuff MIGHT be true about Rikishi & Piper. You've done NOTHING to prove O'Haire could talk on a live microphone, or that he had ANY good matches in WWE. NOTHING.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Minor threadjack since you brought up TNA:

    http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/100-tna/38852-russo-says-spike-poor-partner-for-tna-spike-responds

Don't think we've seen somebody get destroyed like that since Jim Cornette destroyed Eric Bischoff in 2010.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I will agree with Russo on this--NOBODY knows that TNA is on Spike tv. I've never seen a commercial or anything promoting it. Damn, wrestling fans go up to Kurt Angle and ask where he's been for 10 years. Heyman said the same about TNN and he's a god. Russo says it about Spike and he's viewed a joke. I don't get it sometimes. Spike, however, did help TNA financially, something they never tried or trustred with a sleazeball like Heyman.

    ReplyDelete
  150. That... might be the greatest thing I've ever read.

    ReplyDelete
  151. A + hair, C - political savvy.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Jesus fuck he was there like three weeks? What matches? What chance?

    ReplyDelete
  153. "What Vince Russo is saying is complete nonsense".
That quote alone tells me that Spike TV knows more about how to run a wrestling company than Dixie Carter and Vince Russo.

    ReplyDelete
  154. I give you Kenzo Suziki. Or Sylvain Grenier. Or Orlando Jordan. Linda Miles. Mohammed Hassan. The Dicks. Gymini. The Bash Brothers. Damn 2004-5 sucked.

    ReplyDelete
  155. J and B. Not a bad coincidence...

    ReplyDelete
  156. I will say that Randy Orton is a complete douchebag too (borderline psycho from 2002-2007) but was protected by those in power. If O'Haire got the same treatment, it's possible his life would be radically different.

    ReplyDelete
  157. He was there over a span of months, look this stuff up. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know (deep down).

    Here's the Benoit match:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2veFm2NLKg

    ReplyDelete
  158. RIP, he was truly above average.

    ReplyDelete
  159. That really was a shame. His story burning out and a lot of people leaving around the time as well...That's about when I got bored of wrestling and I didn't check back in until I heard about the Summer of Punk and tuned in and saw DBry for the first time.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I don't see how that's a PC issue. Some funerals take that tack.

    ReplyDelete
  161. He was gone by at least Vengeance so I don't see how he had a run.

I just watched that match, hadn't seen it before...aaaand....it was a perfectly fine five minute TV match. What was so bad about it? Surprise finish and a really good spot with that dumping bodyslam.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I'm against the PC police as much as the next guy, but this isn't about censorship, but about putting a more positive spin on an event that's usually a downer. I can go for that.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Why are we talking about Rikishi?

    ReplyDelete
  164. Because certain people are asshats.

    ReplyDelete
  165. But wow did he ever improve.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Just got the news in the last hour or so.. Super bummed about this one.. Cetainly more so than the normal so-&-so.. Sean was a real DUDE!.. R.I.P...

    ReplyDelete
  167. Yes, I have also known people to have both a funeral and a celebration of life. The funeral is the one for family and very close friends, possibly with a religious element and involving the actual burial/sprinkling of the ashes. The celebration of life is a bigger event that more people attend, more secular and a look back on the person's life rather than ritual observance of their death.

    ReplyDelete
  168. I'm surprised the Devil's Advocate gimmick didn't go over, as they basically were Vince's personal ideology (pro-drug, pro-adultery, anti-religion, anti-tax, anti-government) normally when a character expounds his philosophy they do pretty well, even if they totally suck (see JBL).

    ReplyDelete
  169. What about the angle where Dawn Marie married Torrie’s
father, killed him with sex then had a fight with her at the funeral over the
coffin? That was pretty cool. Plus there was Team Angle.

    ReplyDelete
  170. He was okay.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Apparently he was working as a hair stylist... can just imagine him looking for work after wrestling and thinking 'wait, a minute. Sean O'Haire. Sean. O'Haire. O'Hair. Oh, hair! HAIR! Oh shit I got it - I'm gonna cut hair!' Awesome

    ReplyDelete
  172. I had really hoped his MMA career would go better, but he'd taken a few too many wrestling bumps by that point, and was just too easily KO'd.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Really? You couldn't find anything worse than him?

  174. Really? You couldn't find anything worse about 2003 WWE than Rikishi?

  175. I hated all of Piper's WCW stuff. Terrible. His matches with Hogan were like an episode of 3 Stooges.

  176. As a former transcendental meditator, I understand what O'Haire tried to seek out of life. I don't agree with it, but years ago I was in a similar boat. Sometimes only One thing can fill up the hole in our hearts. Personally, as a wrestler - I liked the dude.

As a wrestler, he was one that I thought would get over because he had the look and a good skill set.

I'm going to go into a different direction with this post: people in wrestling that should of gotten over but didn't because they couldn't work or got politically manipulated.

    1. Ken Anderson -- seriously I never thought he'd actually make the big time for a short stint before imploding -- because usually Velocity wrestlers didn't get over -- but his first week -- he got over with the mic skills. They repackaged him as Ken Kennedy a few weeks later - which I didn't think was necessary. Sadly this dude messed things up and couldn't really work, but as a lower midcard substitute teacher gimmick - this guy could have gone somewhere.

    2. Michael V. K. Wallstreet, version 2: Prior to jumping to the WWF around 1990-91, Mike Rotunda turned heel and did the Michael Wallstreet character. Somebody liked something about the character and Rotunda came in as IRS - which was a pretty good Midcard heel gimmick. In 1995, Rotunda returned to WCW with the character before Bischoff changed his name to V. K. Wallstreet - get it? Well sadly rotunda was nothing more than Saturday night fodder and by late 1996 - he was just some dude with a nWo Midcard t-shirt and even then they said he couldn't be nWo and he wore anti-WCW t shirts. Hey WCW couldn't be bother to use Bret Hart right, so why have hope in a Midcard guy?

  177. Exactly. There was way worse stuff than Rikishi. The thing I remember mostly about him in those days was lovable opening match job guy. Not exactly setting world on fire but not sucking and he was always doing the job than anyway.

  178. I have never understood the WWE's protection of Orton at all costs. Is he some kind of great draw or something?

  179. And gimmick. That was awesome.

  180. I thought Riggs was ok as a worker but I gained a new appreciation for him after reading his shoot interview. I like that he wasn't delusional about who he was or what his career was like. He wasn't bitter or anything and seemed like he had a great time working and getting with lades and that's awesome.

  181. In O'Haire's case - since he didn't know Christ - it is a funeral. Bill Maher is a Jewish/Catholic atheist -- meaning Maher was biologically Jewish, raised Catholic formally - so he used to claim in his comedy routine and he rejects all religions. But sadly Maher has sin in his camp and he could rather live in his sin that truly trust in the One that died for his sins and to protect his soul from eternal death.

  182. Ken Kennedy should have never gotten a push. He is simply awful in the ring.

The most over thing about him was that he did his own ring announcing. When the best part of your matches is the ring announcing, you suck.

  183. Life Celebrations are true celebrations for blood bought believers - because we have been paid for by Jesus' blood and will be going to heaven to be with Jesus. Now that is truly a life celebration. Amen. Amen.

  184. Some dickheads are trolling the comments on his obit page. Wow people

  185. Teddy Hart - but when you're too maladjusted to be a pro wrestler, that's really saying something
