Hey Scott, you still into Supercard? They just updated the app with a new feature called the People's Challenge. Basically your wins are for one of two guys (Cena vs Brock in this case), and whichever superstar comes out with the most "wins" is declared the winner. AMAZING rewards for someone willing to spam their life away for the next three days.
Also, if you haven't played in a while, you'll probably find some new cards in your deck, as the last update contained rewards for certain levels of gameplay.

Yeah, I played the People's Challenge thing a bit, but really this game is just robbing me of valuable time that I could be playing Simpsons and Family Guy. The raiding in Tapped Out is one of the most fun events they've ever come up with.
November to Remember 1997, Scott!
ReplyDelete"DUD, only because I don’t give negative stars." <---- LOL
I have a fully loaded Andre SR and Big Show SR tag team, both pro. A loaded pro SR McMahon and a UR Nattie Neidhart and I have a early pro SR ladder edition of Hulk Cena.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of absolute numbers I doubt this is it, but the first one that came to my mind was Angle vs. Shane at KOTR 2001. That was uncomfortable to watch.
ReplyDeleteWasn't that N2R match the same one in which Sabu claimed Sandman was tripping on acid?
ReplyDeleteIf so, the quality ( or lack there of ) of that match makes perfect sense.
That was more of the props not cooperating.
ReplyDelete...
ReplyDeleteYeah I'd stopped playing but people's champion dragged me back in
ReplyDelete@carriMaya. I just agree... Florence`s report is astonishing, last week I got a top of the range Lotus Elise from having earned $5844 this-last/4 weeks an would you believe $10,000 lass-month. with-out any question its the best job Ive had. I actually started eight months/ago and straight away started bringin home over $83... p/h. I use this web-site,....,.,,.
ReplyDeleteHTTP://YAHOO WORK....,,..
Yup, it's that one.
ReplyDeleteIt's still one of my favourite matches ever (if you want a great stoned laugh). It only got better finding out that Sandman was tripping balls on acid.
You can visibly see Sabu getting more and more frustrated throughout the match.
One spot I specifically remember is Sabu going up top trying to do the see-saw spot with the ladder on the ropes, and Sandman just decided to slowly forward roll over the ladder, for whatever reason.
Sabu then just dumps the ladder really hard on a bewildered Sandman's head hahaha
"from one of the ECW PPVs"
ReplyDeleteHe said MAJOR matc, Scott.
*rimshot*
Yeh, that was pretty damn horrific.
ReplyDeleteI remember blood smeared down the KOTR glass.
Cool set, actually. I miss sets.
Oh wow, you use that website?
ReplyDeleteWhy are you responding to no one?
Why do you write your lovely little website in caps?
Why does your lovely little website NOT link me to your lovely little website?
I THINK I HATE YOU!
I'd argue that was a case of "blown" spots- which, like johntcole said, was more a case of uncooperative props anyway- actually adding to the match. Like you said, it was uncomfortably violent, but- in my opinion- in a really awesome way. I love that match, and I'm not usually one for the blood-and-guts.
ReplyDeleteHonourable mention goes to RVD Vs. Sabu ladder match on ECW on Sy-Fy.
ReplyDeleteI remember being ridiculously excited for this, and they blew every other spot (and that's being generous).
I really felt like they let themselves down (aside from getting busted, of course).
I hate the Sandman.
ReplyDeleteCM Punk vs Elijah Burke is the first thing that comes to mind. Can't believe they still aired it on TV
ReplyDeleteI 'd like to Share with you My Choice for Best Professional Studio Monitor Headphone what do you think?: topMonitorHeadphones.com/...
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda over it. I've never been a big game person but I dig get into this for a few weeks. What bummed me out the most was that I won a king of the ring and I was all excited to get a matching super rare pair. When I claimed my reward it was two super rare Darren Young cards and I was pretty disappointed that I got the lamest dude possible.

ReplyDeleteRandy Orton blowing his dog, Spot.
ReplyDeleteI thought this article was about Scherer getting a new puppy.
ReplyDeleteAgreed--it was fun for a little bit, but I just deleted it from my phone yesterday. While the game's initial draw is its simplicity, an endless series of matches and upgrades without any variety just isn't appealing after a while.
ReplyDeleteStill a better poster than Abeyance
ReplyDeleteI had never seen this (I'd never really seen much ECW at all, anyway), but that was seriously amazing.
ReplyDeleteAnd half of our next opponents after NoC, hopefully: Note to self, bring headphones to ring.
ReplyDeleteAnd here's the other half... so headphones and a briefcase. Got it.
ReplyDeleteTJ: So I'm considering ordering BfG as my one and only TNA show I pay for and watch all the way through due to their uncertain future but reading Impact spoilers for the next few weeks and they aren't even building up to it. Their WrestleMania, 10th anniversary even, and it's a glorified exhibition event. Sure it'll probably have great wrestling but man what a waste IMO.
ReplyDelete... yes, there IS a Miz card in the game.
ReplyDeleteThe rewards make it very addicting... and King of the Ring is still a pretty big commitment.
ReplyDeleteAlso, SIMPSONS DID IT!
ReplyDeleteSteiner being completely gassed at the Rumble to the point where he couldn't deliver his one move without falling springs to mind.
ReplyDelete3 days is just too long for this thing. You have to have people logging on to your account to play while you sleep to win. I grinded all day yesterday off and on, and fell back 2,000 spots while I slept.
ReplyDeleteI really want that Brock legendary card wth the title though.
Those are the first of the epic and legendary levels I've seen. You notice how the graphic on them moves independent of the card?
ReplyDeleteSame here, trying to get as many points as I can.
ReplyDeleteThose legendary cards were created specifically for the people champion. They look different than normal legendary cards. And the background moves on every card if you pro it.
ReplyDeleteYep, got me re addicted.
ReplyDeleteEver since I've updated to the peoples challenge, the game has crashed more times than I can count.
ReplyDeleteWrong Dougie
ReplyDeleteMy record now is 2701-500. I have 998 points in People's Champion mode, I'm ranked somewhere around 3800.
ReplyDeleteI'm still gonna treat it like the real one.
ReplyDeleteThe part where Sabu tries to vault from the ladder to the ropes cracks me up every time. What did you THINK was going to happen?
ReplyDeleteThat Jackie Gayda Match?
ReplyDeleteLol. He was a character, definitely not a pro wrestler. I feel the same about new jack
ReplyDeleteNew Jack sucks, too.
ReplyDeleteYou'll get your giant FU titantron and you'll like it!
ReplyDeleteHD baby!
I think Jack and Scott Steiner might be at the top of the list for biggest piece of shit ever in the business, with Jack probably winning by a little.
ReplyDeleteI think the counter to this is the best match that nobody remembers, thanks to one memorable blown spot --- Lesnar/Angle at Wrestlemania 19. That's one of the five best main events in WM history, and if Lesnar had actually hit that crazy Shooting Star Press, it gets some votes as the best ever.
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched it since I saw it live... and purposefully. Maybe I'll give it a try on the Network today.
ReplyDeleteWe talkin' built up payoff matches here, son!
ReplyDeleteI think I say that during EVERY Sabu match. It's like he doesn't fucking understand how things work.
ReplyDeleteHHH VS Steiner. The worst match of all time.
ReplyDeleteIn their defense, they are basically fighting for their life and trying to make the TV as good as possible to get re-signed.
ReplyDeleteSeems like ol' Sandy had a LOT of those moments. The infamous Cactus Jack match in ECW where he just kept kicking out springs to mind... also during the big McMahon's son reveal angle where he forgot that he was supposed to leave the ring (but that actually made the segment better).
ReplyDeleteI still say Roddy Piper vs Jerry Lawler at KOTR '94... especially as that was billed at the main event for months.
ReplyDeleteBut I still marked out for both by the way they were packaged. If you notice, by the end New Jack didn't even have matches. He just beat up someone and jumped off of something.
ReplyDeleteI can't find it, but there was an indie match where he showed up drunk and falls asleep in the ring! Indie wrestler grabs a mic and dog cusses him for like 5 minutes.
ReplyDeleteIt's hilarious if you can find it, but the Sandman gets naked at one of these ECW shows, and Tommy Dreamer is cupping Sandy's cock and balls to try and avoid an indecent exposure charge.
ReplyDeleteTalk about a company man.
I was at an indie show where he came out and was doing his standard stand on the chair and drink beer entrance and (since yes, he was drunk) and the crappy plastic folding chair collapsed and he ate it hard, hurting his knee in the process. He worked the match pretty much hopping on one foot.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Eddie was ranting about Vickie more out of pain than anything, that improv'd spot where Rey had to yank him off and Eddie landed squarely on one leg...it's a wonder he didn't blow out everything in his knee.
ReplyDeleteThe Sabu/Sandman match was the first thing I thought of before I even saw Scott's reply. That is epic levels of failure
ReplyDeleteI was just randomly thinking about this the other day, and had a Sabu match in mind, how weird. I'd say it was a Sabu vs Justin Credible match from one of the ECW ppvs where they were barely even making contact with each other.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but HHH/Steiner was like 20 minutes long or something. Wasn't King/Piper just a stupid comedy thing, and much shorter?
ReplyDeleteNo, it was not played as a comedy match, and went close to 15.
ReplyDeleteIt's a moot point now since I remembered I'm getting the entire PWG: BoLA and Chikara KoT sets that month, which will cost me about a hundred bucks total. So no other payed wrestling for me other than the Network.
ReplyDeleteVery true. But again, this was more a personal answer than anything else - it was the first one I thought of because of all the chaos involved. I knew it wasn't the match with the most mistakes (or even if it had any real "blown spots" at all according to definition).
ReplyDeleteShould be a really entertaining show. The atmosphere in front of that Tokyo crowd is going to be amazing.
ReplyDeleteHogan-Warrior II? I haven't watched it in a long time, but if memory serves me correctly it's an absolute blown spot fest.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it will provide some good wrestling but they're all over the place. I hope they get a tv deal but right now it's just uninteresting unorganized shit unless you really want to see a TLC remake 13 years after it was played out.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think he'd try different stuff at this point in his career, but nope, there he goes with the triple-jump stuff again.
ReplyDeleteSpot is Arn Anderson's dog.
ReplyDeleteBenoit?
ReplyDeleteShane is inhuman.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, no human being could be dropped on their head like that three times in a row and just carry on their business.
It's rare that blown spots actually add to a match, but I think it worked in this case. This wasn't someone just look goofy because they sold a move that missed by a miles, this was guys falling off ladders in completely sick ways.
ReplyDeleteSick match.
Just watched this for this first time and yeah, it really sucks beyond belief.
ReplyDeleteNot to create another Benoit debate but Benoit had a moment of madness where he snapped and went insane, he wasn't a loud, obnoxious, drunk, overbearing, talentless pile of shit like Sandman/New Jack
ReplyDelete
