Question: Anyone getting an iPhone 6 on Friday? I'm not eligible for my upgrade til March, so I need to live vicariously through other people.

I checked out the X Division title today if it was a linear title, it isn't even in TNA half the time.

  3. Reportedly, TNA has lost about 45 million dollars in two years.

    Should have fired Vince Russo.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Does it have a lid that flips on it, or do they still have the antennas? If it has a flip lid, I may get on board, but the antenna extensions are kind of my thing.

  7. Russo was about a 1/4 of TNA's problem, to be honest.

    ReplyDelete
  8. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 6:57 PM

    Shouldn't have brought Hogan in.

  15. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:00 PM

No Surrender should really be a submission style PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Bitch please, it's all about the ratingz.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Put Against Masakatsu Funaki.

    ReplyDelete
  18. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:01 PM

    True, they really need that.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wrestle-1 crowns their first champion on Oct. 8th. My guess is Funaki or KAI.

    ReplyDelete
  20. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:02 PM

Now Havok is gonna destroy everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  21. They have enough KOs for a Battle Royal?

Or will this be done under 5 minutes?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Taryn Terrell.............................nice

    ReplyDelete
  23. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:03 PM

    Still enjoy that theme.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Vince Russo is in the midst of writing a rant about why this should have been a reversed battle royale instead.

    ReplyDelete
  25. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:03 PM

    If Havok dominates, it should.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Or Sanada. He's Mutoh's pet project.

    ReplyDelete
  27. He's not in it.

    Full Bracket:

    - Kai vs. Manabu Soya
    - Minoru Tanaka vs. Daiki Inaba

    - Hiroshi Yamato vs. Seiki Yoshioka
    - Kaz Hayashi vs. Shuji Kondo

    - Tajiri vs. Masakatsu Funaki
    - Akira vs. Ryota Hama

    - Masayuki Kono vs. Jiro Kuroshio
    - Yasufumi Nakanoue vs. Yusuke Kodama

    ReplyDelete
  28. Rebel...................nice

  30. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 17, 2014 at 7:05 PM

That is a fucked up movie.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Jon Lovitz telling that girl "you'll be shit till the day you die" never gets old

    ReplyDelete
  32. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:05 PM

    Now things get real.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Where's is Daisuke Sekimoto?

    ReplyDelete
  34. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:05 PM

Yep, that's the same PWO Jessica Havok.

    ReplyDelete
  35. You say that your name is Finlay and you love to fight. I say you're name is Finlay and you're a bathturd!

    ReplyDelete

    Havok

    ReplyDelete
  40. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:07 PM

    I agree with that.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 17, 2014 at 7:07 PM

I could not identify a single one of them if they were in this room right now.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Havok over Velvet Sky?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Is Havok TNA's poor version of Amazing Kong?

    ReplyDelete
  44. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:08 PM

Yeah, I'll take that as well.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Havok kinda sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  46. AJ deserves it. The guy has come across like a big unappreciative prick during the 900 post-TNA interviews he did. He wanted $350,000+, which was a huge raise, while everyone else was asked to take paycuts.

    ReplyDelete
  47. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:09 PM

Probably, but still better than nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Velvet's pre-surgery pictures changed me forever.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I am going to watch the second Thor movie instead of this because TNA sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I remember when Mickie Knuckles debuted in TNA and I was excited. Then, they named her Moose....

    ReplyDelete
  51. So can women just not wrestle? It's not like they get the time or training the guys do, or a real shot at shining based on ring work, but I could probably count on one hand the number women matches that I thought were as good as a good guy's match. (And that "count on one hand" bit was just being nice)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Can you remember the exact moment when you realized a particular wrestler was past his prime? For example, for Ric Flair maybe it was a certain match, or maybe it was seeing him wrestle in a t-shirt.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Whatever happened to Lara Flynn Boyle

    ReplyDelete
  54. TNA STILL GONNA DIE, and AJ's gonna possibly make more in Japan than he ever did in TNA. Good for him.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Havok moves around like she shit her pants.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Havok looks like a jumbo Alissa Flash aka Cheerleader Melissa.

    ReplyDelete
  57. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:10 PM

Go for CA 2, the better film.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Havok moves around as swiftly as Sika did in 1986.

Hell, they wrestle the same style

    ReplyDelete
  59. That had to be somewhat uncomfortable.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Good for him. I still really enjoy his work, just his attitude seems piss poor.

    ReplyDelete
  61. She has a terrible look.

    ReplyDelete
  62. PSH crashing and burning st trying to hit on lfb in that elevator is sooooo funny to me

    ReplyDelete
  63. And she is a terrible wrestler too

    ReplyDelete
  64. Consider that when men are hired by wrestling companies, the priorities are look, then skill. For women it's look, then look, then look, then skill.

    ReplyDelete
  65. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:11 PM

Yeah, worst bump out of all of them.

    ReplyDelete
  66. "I'll fuck you so hard, I'll come in your ears, fuck you"

    ReplyDelete
  67. Already saw it. Thor 2 is the only MCU movie I haven't seen.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I enjoy that guy, but he needs to cut his roids.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Havok seems like the KO division's version of Abyss.

    ReplyDelete
  70. They both wrestle the same: horribly.

    ReplyDelete
  71. in sloooowwwwwwwwwwww motion.

    ReplyDelete
  72. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:13 PM

    Ah, well have then.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Oh, it's understandable and not even a "I don't think they're capable". But christ, I swear whenever I bother watching a match the last few years, I spend more time cringing they don't botch kill each other than anything

    ReplyDelete
  74. He is a better wrestler than Tony Garea!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Good Luck, Gail. Pulling off ***+ with her would be every bit as impressive as the series with Taryn.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'll never forget those incredible Kim vs. Kong matches.

    ReplyDelete
  77. To be fair, Kong wasn't exactly agile either.

    ReplyDelete
  78. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:13 PM

That was a pretty lackluster BR.

    ReplyDelete
  79. 1/10, troll. No one is better than Tony Garea.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Kong was fucking awesome at her character.

    ReplyDelete
  81. The guy is awesome. I wish NJPW would sign him.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Her character is nearly identical to Havok's. Big woman that screams and acts like a machine.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Marvel whore but I thought Thor 2 was pretty solid. Though curious on your thoughts on the ending

    ReplyDelete
  84. You're joking, right?

    ReplyDelete
  85. She was Vader the female version.

    ReplyDelete
  86. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:15 PM

She was the most threatening woman in TNA.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Except Kong could work.

    ReplyDelete
  88. NJPW should sign Taiji Ishimori too.

    ReplyDelete
  89. If TNA lasts another 20 years, she can be a backstage agent breaking up fights. If I'm drinking and watching old WWF, if anyone mentions Tony Garea, it's a shot.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Lmao the psychiatrist day dreams about killing everyone in the park. I haven't seen this movie enough times

    ReplyDelete
  91. She was threatning even for dudes.

    ReplyDelete
  92. We've seen one match of Havok's and it was a battle royal. Why not wait and see?

    ReplyDelete
  93. But...TNA lasting another 20 years...let's be reasonable here.

    ReplyDelete
  94. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:15 PM

    Who was her Sting?

    ReplyDelete
  95. I also think it's a matter of upbringing. Full-time female wrestlers is still pretty new, so you're not going to have too many girls who grew up dreaming of being wrestlers. Who would their role models have been? Like I could've grown up watching Hogan, Savage, Koko, etc., and developed this strong desire to be a wrestler. But who would my sister have idolized? Miss Elizabeth? Sensational Sherri? The ladies of G.L.O.W.?

    ReplyDelete
  96. Because she's robotic and her look is terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Judging by the way you "book" BoD RAW you would think Tony Garea was talented.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Havok was terrible

    ReplyDelete
  99. Hey, what's up TNA Team?

    ReplyDelete
  100. He would relegate you to a secondary role too so yeah, he is.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Didn't rebel break her leg recently? Was it from taking that silly bump onto the stairs?

    ReplyDelete
  102. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:17 PM

Havok is going to be interesting to see.

    ReplyDelete
  103. You just called her Abyss and now you're defending her. Okay......

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yeah.

    *What's he talking about?*

    ReplyDelete
  105. All I'm saying is is that it has been one match and a battle royal at that. I'm not going to call her a complete failure just off of that.

    ReplyDelete
  106. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:18 PM

    She was unimpressive.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Who was the last big huge monster woman they had and just discarded all of a sudden ... she was Gail Kim's bodyguard for awhile.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Did I hear correctly when I heard that Brodus Clay is joining up with TNA?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Gunner would be a good fit in NXT

    ReplyDelete
  110. Grodus Day is in the Impact Zone. Somebody call his daddy!

    ReplyDelete
  111. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:20 PM

Lady Topa, discard TNA Tamina Snuka.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Loki looks like he would cut himself and listen to My Chemical Romance... I mean he had daddy issues and everything.

    ReplyDelete
  113. He's 32 already, so if he has any plans to jump it needs to be soon.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I don't know, but I would think a contractual signing is not a spoiler.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Lei'd Tapa. There was also that "Alpha Female" woman that Sabin brought out when he and Velvet split, but she only showed up... twice?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Was that DeVito from the Carnage Crew in the crowd jawing at Kenny King?

    ReplyDelete
  117. He signed a 2 year extension a couple months back.

    ReplyDelete
  118. It is when it hasn't been mentioned anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I was asking a question if he had been signed.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I think he looks like he would cut himself and listen to The Cure at a really loud volume to drown out the pain inside his head.

    ReplyDelete
  121. (Ref checks leg, "loaded boot", one legged guy dq'd every match before he ever wrestles)

    ReplyDelete
  122. TJ: Another NFL player, Jonathan Dwyer, beat up his wife AND kid.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I almost said The Cure but I figured no one here would be old enough to know them... now that I think about it though I think he might even be a Morrissey guy.

    ReplyDelete
  124. These Monday Night War videos have been lackluster.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Clearly you need to hear about the tank.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Morrissey sucks

    ReplyDelete
  127. Just read the grantland article about TNA. Does Dixie sound like a gigantic mark to anyone else besides me?

    ReplyDelete
  128. I liked the first few... but once they started focusing on individual things it has been far less interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  129. You'd think there's a lawyer/money manager out there just screaming "Say you're brain damaged, god damn it"

    ReplyDelete
  130. History is always written by the winners.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I think My Chemical Romance is shittier; I thought it was a solid choice.

    ReplyDelete
  132. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 17, 2014 at 7:25 PM

What is going on with that company?

    ReplyDelete
  133. The Cure, Morrissey, My Bloody Valentine.

Mrs. Stranger has a ton of that stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  134. In fairness, this happened a while back. He hadn't got the memo yet.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Fuck Morrisey, fuck veganism too.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Ditto--a money mark who seems to be intensely loyal to the wrong people (like Russo).

    ReplyDelete
  137. And you still married her? Man she must be something in the sack.

    ReplyDelete
  138. You say that now but BoD Night of Champions will electrify the fake wrestling world this Sunday

    ReplyDelete
  139. Don't smoke, people. You could wind up like Ken Anderson.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I like the fact that these anti smoking PSA's have been the only sign of Ken Anderson on the show for the last few weeks. I like it a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Oh, you think her excitement over getting a painting from a guy who acted like a ridiculous tool showing up to work pilled out of his mind makes her a mark, eh?

    ReplyDelete
  142. DING DING DING DING!!

    ReplyDelete
  143. lol. The NFL's perfect storm.

    ReplyDelete
  144. oh please the first match with Umaga was nowhere near a classic same goes with Khali and the rematches were great becasue they were gimmick matches which covered up their weaknesses. HBK was carrying everyone to 4 star matches

    ReplyDelete
  145. shawn/cena lasted a month same goes for DX/RKO

    ReplyDelete
  146. no just one jd was not good

    ReplyDelete
  147. they both were good in 2007 in that feud and their first match was not great at all

    ReplyDelete
  148. I remember Cena back in the day. Not a bad worker and those matches you thought would be duds like Oooogmaga (I miss being able to say that) were classics that made those guys. Sadly them drugs took him out along with his other sins.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I hated 2007 after June 27 ... And I'm not sure how I slept walk into 2010. I think -- when I still had TV -- I watched more football from 2007 until 2010 and totally gave up on the E in 2010.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I was impressed that SummerSlam was actually good and it almost brought me back to modern wrestling - but the bad views turned me away

    ReplyDelete
  151. I fee like Shawn/Cena was a lot longer than that… they had the whole buildup where they were tag partners, with the No Way Out match against Taker/Batista (which was awesome), then the Mania match, then the London match, then the 4 Way. That's gotta be at least two or three months, right?

And didn't Shawn keep feuding with Rated-RKO for a while after HHH went down?

    ReplyDelete
  152. Actually, I rate JD a bit higher than ONS.

    ReplyDelete
  153. oh hell no both were nothing special but ons had a conclusive ending

    ReplyDelete
  154. No one is claiming the Kahli matches were classics, just that they were much better than matches involving Khali have any right to be.

    ReplyDelete
  155. All good points. I especially wish he would eliminate the top-rope legdrop from his arsenal. There's nothing particulary wrong with the way he hits the move, but the amount of time his opponent has to spend in one place bent over double while he gets into position just kills suspension of disbelief for me.

    ReplyDelete
  156. For sure. I don't like Cena as a worker for a few reasons, but his conditioning is remarkable for a guy his size.

    ReplyDelete
  157. So did JD, Khali tapped clean.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Your first paragraph discussing Cena's flaws is almost word-for-word what I would have written for why I don't like Cena as a worker.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Harris Brothers, hands down.

    ReplyDelete
  160. "HBK was carrying everyone to 4 star matches"

    Like JBL, oh wait!

    ReplyDelete
  161. The RAW match that Cena and HBK had was more Cena than it was Shawn.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I wouldn't put Jericho up there. He has a limited range (if that's the right word) where he just about never has really bad matches, but doesn't have nearly as many great matches as you might think given all the praise the guy's gotten over the years.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Putski reference. I watch basketball about as much as Scott Keith watches football. There's a Polish basketball player? Do they even *have* basketball in Poland?
