Question: Anyone getting an iPhone 6 on Friday? I'm not eligible for my upgrade til March, so I need to live vicariously through other people.
ReplyDeleteI checked out the X Division title today if it was a linear title, it isn't even in TNA half the time.
ReplyDeleteReportedly, TNA has lost about 45 million dollars in two years.
ReplyDeleteShould have fired Vince Russo.
ReplyDeleteDoes it have a lid that flips on it, or do they still have the antennas? If it has a flip lid, I may get on board, but the antenna extensions are kind of my thing.
ReplyDeleteDixie CarterVerified account@TNADixie
ReplyDeleteSIGN :)RT @CRegal23: @TNADixie Dixie, could u please give us loyal #TNA fans a sign that Impact will be on U.S. TV come the new year?
Russo was about a 1/4 of TNA's problem, to be honest.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't have brought Hogan in.
ReplyDeleteNah. I still have a Blackberry Pearl lol
ReplyDeleteWill she respond?
ReplyDeleteLadder match is starting the show!
ReplyDeleteShe did. She said SIGN :). It's on her main Twitter.
ReplyDeleteShould the Heavyweight title match be at BFG?
ReplyDeleteCops is on!
ReplyDeleteSpike's money maker.
ReplyDeleteNo Surrender should really be a submission style PPV.
ReplyDeleteBitch please, it's all about the ratingz.
ReplyDeletePut Against Masakatsu Funaki.
ReplyDeleteTrue, they really need that.
ReplyDeleteWrestle-1 crowns their first champion on Oct. 8th. My guess is Funaki or KAI.
ReplyDeleteNow Havok is gonna destroy everyone.
ReplyDeleteThey have enough KOs for a Battle Royal?
ReplyDeleteOr will this be done under 5 minutes?
Taryn Terrell.............................nice
ReplyDeleteStill enjoy that theme.
ReplyDeleteVince Russo is in the midst of writing a rant about why this should have been a reversed battle royale instead.
ReplyDeleteIf Havok dominates, it should.
ReplyDeleteOr Sanada. He's Mutoh's pet project.
ReplyDeleteHe's not in it.
ReplyDeleteFull Bracket:
- Kai vs. Manabu Soya
- Minoru Tanaka vs. Daiki Inaba
- Hiroshi Yamato vs. Seiki Yoshioka
- Kaz Hayashi vs. Shuji Kondo
- Tajiri vs. Masakatsu Funaki
- Akira vs. Ryota Hama
- Masayuki Kono vs. Jiro Kuroshio
- Yasufumi Nakanoue vs. Yusuke Kodama
Rebel...................nice
ReplyDeleteHappiness is on starz right now
ReplyDeleteThat is a fucked up movie.
ReplyDeleteJon Lovitz telling that girl "you'll be shit till the day you die" never gets old
ReplyDeleteNow things get real.
ReplyDeleteWhere's is Daisuke Sekimoto?
ReplyDeleteYep, that's the same PWO Jessica Havok.
ReplyDeleteYou say that your name is Finlay and you love to fight. I say you're name is Finlay and you're a bathturd!
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think about her attacking AJ in that grantland article?
ReplyDeleteBattle Royal Rankings (hotness)
ReplyDeleteTaryn Terrell
Rebel
Velvey Sky
Brittany
Madison
Angelina
Havok
Former PWO women go after each other!
ReplyDeleteTaryn Terrell
ReplyDeleteRebel
Brittany
Madison
Angelina
Havok
Velvet Sky
I agree with that.
ReplyDeleteI could not identify a single one of them if they were in this room right now.
ReplyDeleteInjured I believe.
ReplyDeleteHavok over Velvet Sky?
ReplyDeleteIs Havok TNA's poor version of Amazing Kong?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'll take that as well.
ReplyDeleteHavok kinda sucks.
ReplyDeleteAJ deserves it. The guy has come across like a big unappreciative prick during the 900 post-TNA interviews he did. He wanted $350,000+, which was a huge raise, while everyone else was asked to take paycuts.
ReplyDeleteProbably, but still better than nothing.
ReplyDeleteVelvet's pre-surgery pictures changed me forever.
ReplyDeleteI am going to watch the second Thor movie instead of this because TNA sucks.
ReplyDeleteI remember when Mickie Knuckles debuted in TNA and I was excited. Then, they named her Moose....
ReplyDeleteSo can women just not wrestle? It's not like they get the time or training the guys do, or a real shot at shining based on ring work, but I could probably count on one hand the number women matches that I thought were as good as a good guy's match. (And that "count on one hand" bit was just being nice)
ReplyDeleteCan you remember the exact moment when you realized a particular wrestler was past his prime? For example, for Ric Flair maybe it was a certain match, or maybe it was seeing him wrestle in a t-shirt.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to Lara Flynn Boyle
ReplyDeleteTNA STILL GONNA DIE, and AJ's gonna possibly make more in Japan than he ever did in TNA. Good for him.
ReplyDeleteHavok moves around like she shit her pants.
ReplyDeleteHavok looks like a jumbo Alissa Flash aka Cheerleader Melissa.
ReplyDeleteGo for CA 2, the better film.
ReplyDeleteHavok moves around as swiftly as Sika did in 1986.
ReplyDeleteHell, they wrestle the same style
That had to be somewhat uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteGood for him. I still really enjoy his work, just his attitude seems piss poor.
ReplyDeleteShe has a terrible look.
ReplyDeletePSH crashing and burning st trying to hit on lfb in that elevator is sooooo funny to me
ReplyDeleteAnd she is a terrible wrestler too
ReplyDeleteConsider that when men are hired by wrestling companies, the priorities are look, then skill. For women it's look, then look, then look, then skill.
ReplyDeleteYeah, worst bump out of all of them.
ReplyDelete"I'll fuck you so hard, I'll come in your ears, fuck you"
ReplyDeleteAlready saw it. Thor 2 is the only MCU movie I haven't seen.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy that guy, but he needs to cut his roids.
ReplyDeleteHavok seems like the KO division's version of Abyss.
ReplyDeleteThey both wrestle the same: horribly.
ReplyDeletein sloooowwwwwwwwwwww motion.
ReplyDeleteAh, well have then.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's understandable and not even a "I don't think they're capable". But christ, I swear whenever I bother watching a match the last few years, I spend more time cringing they don't botch kill each other than anything
ReplyDeleteHe is a better wrestler than Tony Garea!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck, Gail. Pulling off ***+ with her would be every bit as impressive as the series with Taryn.
ReplyDeleteI'll never forget those incredible Kim vs. Kong matches.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, Kong wasn't exactly agile either.
ReplyDeleteThat was a pretty lackluster BR.
ReplyDelete1/10, troll. No one is better than Tony Garea.
ReplyDeleteKong was fucking awesome at her character.
ReplyDeleteThe guy is awesome. I wish NJPW would sign him.
ReplyDeleteHer character is nearly identical to Havok's. Big woman that screams and acts like a machine.
ReplyDeleteMarvel whore but I thought Thor 2 was pretty solid. Though curious on your thoughts on the ending
ReplyDeleteYou're joking, right?
ReplyDeleteShe was Vader the female version.
ReplyDeleteShe was the most threatening woman in TNA.
ReplyDeleteExcept Kong could work.
ReplyDeleteNJPW should sign Taiji Ishimori too.
ReplyDeleteIf TNA lasts another 20 years, she can be a backstage agent breaking up fights. If I'm drinking and watching old WWF, if anyone mentions Tony Garea, it's a shot.
ReplyDeleteLmao the psychiatrist day dreams about killing everyone in the park. I haven't seen this movie enough times
ReplyDeleteShe was threatning even for dudes.
ReplyDeleteWe've seen one match of Havok's and it was a battle royal. Why not wait and see?
ReplyDeleteBut...TNA lasting another 20 years...let's be reasonable here.
ReplyDeleteWho was her Sting?
ReplyDeleteHa, no
ReplyDeleteI also think it's a matter of upbringing. Full-time female wrestlers is still pretty new, so you're not going to have too many girls who grew up dreaming of being wrestlers. Who would their role models have been? Like I could've grown up watching Hogan, Savage, Koko, etc., and developed this strong desire to be a wrestler. But who would my sister have idolized? Miss Elizabeth? Sensational Sherri? The ladies of G.L.O.W.?
ReplyDeleteBecause she's robotic and her look is terrible.
ReplyDeleteJudging by the way you "book" BoD RAW you would think Tony Garea was talented.
ReplyDeleteYou're impossible.
ReplyDeleteGail.
ReplyDeleteHavok was terrible
ReplyDeleteHey, what's up TNA Team?
ReplyDeleteHe would relegate you to a secondary role too so yeah, he is.
ReplyDeleteDidn't rebel break her leg recently? Was it from taking that silly bump onto the stairs?
ReplyDeleteArm.
ReplyDeleteHavok is going to be interesting to see.
ReplyDeleteYou just called her Abyss and now you're defending her. Okay......
ReplyDeleteYeah.
ReplyDelete*What's he talking about?*
All I'm saying is is that it has been one match and a battle royal at that. I'm not going to call her a complete failure just off of that.
ReplyDeleteShe was unimpressive.
ReplyDeleteWho was the last big huge monster woman they had and just discarded all of a sudden ... she was Gail Kim's bodyguard for awhile.
ReplyDeleteFuck you
ReplyDeleteDid I hear correctly when I heard that Brodus Clay is joining up with TNA?
ReplyDeleteGunner would be a good fit in NXT
ReplyDeleteSpoiler?
ReplyDeleteAs a jobber.
ReplyDeleteGrodus Day is in the Impact Zone. Somebody call his daddy!
ReplyDeleteLady Topa, discard TNA Tamina Snuka.
ReplyDeleteLoki looks like he would cut himself and listen to My Chemical Romance... I mean he had daddy issues and everything.
ReplyDeleteHe's 32 already, so if he has any plans to jump it needs to be soon.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, but I would think a contractual signing is not a spoiler.
ReplyDeleteLei'd Tapa. There was also that "Alpha Female" woman that Sabin brought out when he and Velvet split, but she only showed up... twice?
ReplyDeleteWas that DeVito from the Carnage Crew in the crowd jawing at Kenny King?
ReplyDeleteHe signed a 2 year extension a couple months back.
ReplyDeleteIt is when it hasn't been mentioned anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI was asking a question if he had been signed.
ReplyDeleteI think he looks like he would cut himself and listen to The Cure at a really loud volume to drown out the pain inside his head.
ReplyDelete(Ref checks leg, "loaded boot", one legged guy dq'd every match before he ever wrestles)
ReplyDeleteTJ: Another NFL player, Jonathan Dwyer, beat up his wife AND kid.
ReplyDeleteI almost said The Cure but I figured no one here would be old enough to know them... now that I think about it though I think he might even be a Morrissey guy.
ReplyDeleteThese Monday Night War videos have been lackluster.
ReplyDeleteClearly you need to hear about the tank.
ReplyDeleteMorrissey sucks
ReplyDeleteJust read the grantland article about TNA. Does Dixie sound like a gigantic mark to anyone else besides me?
ReplyDeleteI liked the first few... but once they started focusing on individual things it has been far less interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think there's a lawyer/money manager out there just screaming "Say you're brain damaged, god damn it"
ReplyDeleteHistory is always written by the winners.
ReplyDeleteSo does BoD RAW
ReplyDeleteI think My Chemical Romance is shittier; I thought it was a solid choice.
ReplyDeleteWhat is going on with that company?
ReplyDeleteThe Cure, Morrissey, My Bloody Valentine.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Stranger has a ton of that stuff.
In fairness, this happened a while back. He hadn't got the memo yet.
ReplyDeleteFuck Morrisey, fuck veganism too.
ReplyDeleteDitto--a money mark who seems to be intensely loyal to the wrong people (like Russo).
ReplyDeleteAnd you still married her? Man she must be something in the sack.
ReplyDeleteYou say that now but BoD Night of Champions will electrify the fake wrestling world this Sunday
ReplyDeleteDon't smoke, people. You could wind up like Ken Anderson.
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that these anti smoking PSA's have been the only sign of Ken Anderson on the show for the last few weeks. I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteOh, you think her excitement over getting a painting from a guy who acted like a ridiculous tool showing up to work pilled out of his mind makes her a mark, eh?
ReplyDeleteDING DING DING DING!!
ReplyDeletelol. The NFL's perfect storm.
ReplyDeleteoh please the first match with Umaga was nowhere near a classic same goes with Khali and the rematches were great becasue they were gimmick matches which covered up their weaknesses. HBK was carrying everyone to 4 star matches
ReplyDeleteshawn/cena lasted a month same goes for DX/RKO
ReplyDeleteno just one jd was not good
ReplyDeletethey both were good in 2007 in that feud and their first match was not great at all
ReplyDeleteI remember Cena back in the day. Not a bad worker and those matches you thought would be duds like Oooogmaga (I miss being able to say that) were classics that made those guys. Sadly them drugs took him out along with his other sins.
ReplyDeleteI hated 2007 after June 27 ... And I'm not sure how I slept walk into 2010. I think -- when I still had TV -- I watched more football from 2007 until 2010 and totally gave up on the E in 2010.
ReplyDeleteI was impressed that SummerSlam was actually good and it almost brought me back to modern wrestling - but the bad views turned me away
ReplyDeleteI fee like Shawn/Cena was a lot longer than that… they had the whole buildup where they were tag partners, with the No Way Out match against Taker/Batista (which was awesome), then the Mania match, then the London match, then the 4 Way. That's gotta be at least two or three months, right?
ReplyDeleteAnd didn't Shawn keep feuding with Rated-RKO for a while after HHH went down?
Actually, I rate JD a bit higher than ONS.
ReplyDeleteoh hell no both were nothing special but ons had a conclusive ending
ReplyDeleteNo one is claiming the Kahli matches were classics, just that they were much better than matches involving Khali have any right to be.
ReplyDeleteAll good points. I especially wish he would eliminate the top-rope legdrop from his arsenal. There's nothing particulary wrong with the way he hits the move, but the amount of time his opponent has to spend in one place bent over double while he gets into position just kills suspension of disbelief for me.
ReplyDeleteFor sure. I don't like Cena as a worker for a few reasons, but his conditioning is remarkable for a guy his size.
ReplyDeleteSo did JD, Khali tapped clean.
ReplyDeleteYour first paragraph discussing Cena's flaws is almost word-for-word what I would have written for why I don't like Cena as a worker.
ReplyDeleteHarris Brothers, hands down.
ReplyDelete"HBK was carrying everyone to 4 star matches"
ReplyDeleteLike JBL, oh wait!
The RAW match that Cena and HBK had was more Cena than it was Shawn.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't put Jericho up there. He has a limited range (if that's the right word) where he just about never has really bad matches, but doesn't have nearly as many great matches as you might think given all the praise the guy's gotten over the years.
ReplyDeletePutski reference. I watch basketball about as much as Scott Keith watches football. There's a Polish basketball player? Do they even *have* basketball in Poland?
ReplyDelete
