  1. Lol @ bill Simmons. Good fuck him

    ReplyDelete
  2. Yo this movie escape plan is pretty fucking sweet for a dumb ass action flick

    ReplyDelete
  3. The fake dougie or the real one?

    ReplyDelete
  4. I can't stand him, but ESPN is making themselves look bought and paid for by the NFL

    ReplyDelete
  5. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 24, 2014 at 6:56 PM

    What happened?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Suspended by ESPN for calling roger goddell a liar.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yeah but honestly I've had enough of Simmons. I love how he dared ESPN to suspend him and then they did.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 24, 2014 at 6:59 PM

If it was anyone else that would upset me.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Fucking insane they suspended him for THAT. But at this point, it's his own fault for sticking with them, he cashed his checks, let him stew for 3 weeks. Could have broke away and done the Grantland thing on his own

    ReplyDelete
  10. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:00 PM

They can't just do an 8 man tournament?

    ReplyDelete
  11. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:01 PM

Heh, I just realized it was Bobby vs Bobby.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 24, 2014 at 7:01 PM

I'm not sure I could name 8 people that work for TNA.

    ReplyDelete
  13. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:02 PM

Jeremy is putting on some weight it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Holy shit it's the building they used to do Raw in.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 24, 2014 at 7:02 PM

Seems like over the past few months they've suspended just about everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  16. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:02 PM

Welcome everyone to Wednesday Night Impact!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 24, 2014 at 7:03 PM

Really? Weren't those tapings in July?

    ReplyDelete
  18. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:03 PM

This is as good as PAC Man Jones theme.

    ReplyDelete
  19. You can tell I watch a lot of TNA.

    ReplyDelete
  20. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:03 PM

    August now.

    ReplyDelete
  21. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:04 PM

That's the first time I really heard MVP's theme, I kind of like it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Nice MVP vignette. Felt like a Nike commercial

    ReplyDelete
  23. He did the vocals himself in fine wrestling tradition.

    ReplyDelete
  24. the fuck is Lo Ki wearing

    ReplyDelete
  25. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:06 PM

All we need is Magnus, and we'd have ourselves a Power Ranger match.

    ReplyDelete
  26. WCW1987 still missing from last week?

    ReplyDelete
  27. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:06 PM

He quit, looks like he's keeping his word this time.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 24, 2014 at 7:06 PM

Who cares? A douche is a douche is a douche.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Gonna be a slow thread tonight without him.

    ReplyDelete
  30. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:07 PM

Someone better give a mid air super kick.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The graphics for raw were terrible in that era.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Looks like he borrowed Manik's new blue outfit.

    ReplyDelete
  33. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:08 PM

WWE should do that more often, give guys in a tournament little videos about why they want to win.

    ReplyDelete
  34. These guys look they are going on a diving expedition.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Another honest, not-as-knowledgeable-as-you-guys question. I didn't really watch when MVP was in WWE. Is there a reason he's no longer with them?

    ReplyDelete
  36. He wanted to work in japan and he knew he was never going to go further in WWE than he already had.

    ReplyDelete
  37. He's an expendable mediocre worker.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Wasn't watching either at the time, but think he felt he reached his ceiling, quit, went to Japan for awhile

    ReplyDelete
  39. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:10 PM

I think it was because he asked for his release otherwise he was fine outside of turning into a lower mid card.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Same reason as hundreds of guys that got cut before him.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I didn't know if it was drugs or murder or something.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Secret communist?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 24, 2014 at 7:10 PM

Creative had nothing for him so he asked to be let go.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I knew it had to be something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  45. His felony was before he started wrestling. He's been pretty clean ever since.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Adam "Colorado" CurrySeptember 24, 2014 at 7:12 PM

    Well, he WAS in prison...

    ReplyDelete
  47. "I want to win so that I can always get strange looks when I pass through the metal detector at the airport."

    ReplyDelete
  48. Officially, society's bitch again. First day of working in 7 months.

    ReplyDelete
  49. He quit to go to Japan

    ReplyDelete
  50. And he refused to dance.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Well, ESPN is bought and paid for by the NFL.

    ReplyDelete
  52. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:15 PM

That Ball In set up wasn't a dance?

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'd call it showboating more than dancing.

    ReplyDelete
  54. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:16 PM

    It was a joke Lax...

    ReplyDelete
  55. This match isn't completely disagreeable.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Good opening match.

    ReplyDelete
  57. WTF does that even mean

    ReplyDelete
  58. I've playing Street Fighter II, and goddamn, Ryu gives me the fucking fits. Between the Fireballs and the Dragon Punches, I want to tear my hair out.

Does anyone have an old video game foe (fighting or otherwise) that just gave you all sorts of trouble?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Um, I don't know. I'd say not bad before pretty good.

    ReplyDelete
  60. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:22 PM

Jessie is breaking the 4th wall in fine style tonight,

    ReplyDelete
  61. Points for acknowledging the camera

    ReplyDelete
  62. That was pretty funny

    ReplyDelete
  63. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:23 PM

The Bro Mans have won me over.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'm really surprised Abyss is still with TNA

    ReplyDelete
  65. Sub-Zero.

    ReplyDelete
  66. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:23 PM

Mr. Anderson is the wrong guy to put in these ads.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Evening. Today's my birthday.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I volunteered to work at their Lockdown Fanfest and I had to take care of DJ Z. The Bro Mans were next to him during the whole time and they were all so hilarious to each other. Seem like real bros in real life.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I thought it was a million times more effective than those "Truth" ads.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Fuck you too.

    ReplyDelete
  71. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:24 PM

    Happy Birthday!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Get off this stupid blog and go get laid.

    ReplyDelete
  73. The irony of a company that employs Chris Broussard and Skip Bayless enforcing "journalistic integrity" gives me a nice, hearty laugh.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I was with my girlfriend.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Be a good bro and send some money on his paypal account so he can get an escort. You just got a job, bro, so no excuses.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Helluva welcome on your birthday by CO Jones.

    Happy Birthday!

    ReplyDelete
  77. i agree with what he said and more people will hear what he said now that he's suspended. He should do the adam carolla thing and make his own pirate ship

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hello. Hola. Bonjour. Hallo. Ni hao. Ciao. Hujambo.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Sadly, Brazil's currency might be worth than America's now.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Those are greetings in various languages.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Qu'est-ce que c'est?

    ReplyDelete
  82. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:28 PM

    Evening Stranger.

    ReplyDelete
  83. s'il vous plaît me lécher les testicules

    ReplyDelete
  84. Uhhhh.....non.

    ReplyDelete
  85. espn wants to have people give their opinion, but when that opinion is against what espn is for, they suspend them

    ReplyDelete
  86. Ugh, Microsoft found out that my Office was a fraud one and I cannot remember what hacking device I used.

    ReplyDelete
  87. You? Congratulations!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Grrrrrr.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Bill Simmons got a longer suspension than what Ray Rice initially got. That's some bullshit right there.

    ReplyDelete
  90. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:31 PM

Way to work the cheap heat Robbie.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I have a birthday Saturday, Kid. What's the legal drinking age in Brasil?

    ReplyDelete
  92. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:33 PM

Robbie keeps getting thrown into random matches with Wrestle-1 guys.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I've seen enough of those on Facebook over the course of time. Internet short hand is just a pet peeve. Nothing personal.

    ReplyDelete
  94. 18, I can drink now.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Simmons wants to go in on Goddell but he constantly dodged the emails about journalist being in the tank for the NFL

    ReplyDelete
  96. Bill Simmons got three times the suspension Stephen A. "Yeah, but ladies should remember not to make their man hit them" Smith got.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Just the same I would buy you a Brazilian Coca-Cola or something. We have Mexican Coke here in Texas and it taste a little different than regular Coke. I do not endorse alcoholic beverages.

    ReplyDelete
  98. no spoilers. going to watch it when I get home.

    ReplyDelete
  99. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:35 PM

That Suicide in the crowd looks like he's sleeping.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I'm shocked Fishburne didn't cash on more on The Matrix

    ReplyDelete
  101. Don't worry, I rarely drink.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Wha..? But I....you just....you can't.....

    ReplyDelete
  103. I've got a ton of nieces on my facebook. I swear to God they have their own language. I just learned to ignore it.

    ReplyDelete
  104. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:36 PM

That guy in the blue shirt looked really impressed. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Three minutes in and it's already better than every new comedy that premiered last season.

    ReplyDelete
  106. That was a perfectly competent match but it wasn't interesting in the slightest.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Shit, except The Goldbergs. The Goldbergs is tight.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Yeah, I actually like it so far a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Spud robbed a 6yr old kid of his Easter Sunday suit.

    ReplyDelete
  110. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:37 PM

I'm shocked that that was a Gold Rush match.

    ReplyDelete
  111. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:38 PM

He's been doing that for the past 6 months,

    ReplyDelete
  112. The Bunny is coming for that ass, in vengeance.

    ReplyDelete
  113. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:39 PM

Great, now I want to see Spud face the Bunny in a match.

    ReplyDelete
  114. The Goldbergs was a great series.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I never noticed that that Taco Bell advert got in a dig at the McMuffin. Lowest common denominator fast food is serious business.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Saw the pilot a couple weeks ago, it's better than one would think.

    ReplyDelete
  117. "The year's first new crowd pleaser"......did the guy doing bullshit press for This is Where I leave You forget we're nearly to October?

    ReplyDelete
  118. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:42 PM

And they still have no matches scheduled.

    ReplyDelete
  119. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:43 PM

Spud is on the verge for a face turn.

    ReplyDelete
  120. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:44 PM

Ok, that was a funny tease.

    ReplyDelete
  121. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:45 PM

Aries seems to be enjoying himself.

    ReplyDelete
  122. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:46 PM

    Flair in the crowd again.

    ReplyDelete
  123. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:47 PM

I'm impressed of Knox as well.

    ReplyDelete
  124. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:48 PM

Where was this Knox in WWE?

    ReplyDelete
  125. This has been a dreadfully dull show so far.

    ReplyDelete
  126. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:49 PM

    We need WWF 1987 here.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Did you carry on posting on the super sensitive TNA blogs?

    ReplyDelete
  128. I've enjoyed it so far. No 20 minute promos, just wrestling and short backstage segments. I can't complain at all.

    ReplyDelete
  129. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:51 PM

I think I did, I thought more people would show up, I guess I was wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  130. The wrestling has been perfectly decent, and that MVP-Low Ki match was good. but there's just no energy to anything. Maybe everyone's just burned out because its week 8793 of the taping cycle.

    ReplyDelete
  131. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:52 PM

This has got to be the match of Knox's career.

    ReplyDelete
  132. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:53 PM

I actually wanted Knox to win this one.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Aries is still a great worker, but he's completely stale. He needs to freshen up somehow. Maybe shave off the beard.

    ReplyDelete
  134. They need to give him something to do.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I had a buddy over the last hour who is a casual WWE fan and boy was it embarrassing trying to describe Knux.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Try explaining Adam Rose and the Bunny as his tag team partner.

    ReplyDelete
  137. So Abeyance ran off seven straight uninterrupted posts.

    Just sayin'.

    ReplyDelete
  138. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:58 PM

    What about Rebel?

    ReplyDelete
  139. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:58 PM

    My apologies.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Remember when they repackaged him and it was serious vignettes about how he had to save the carnival so his family wouldn't be ashamed of him? Completely abandoned and now they're all just goofs in clown suits.

    ReplyDelete
  141. He thankfully wasn't over for Raw.

    ReplyDelete
  142. None necessary. Just noting a rarity outside of Jobber's late night solo rantings.

    ReplyDelete
  143. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:59 PM

It has happened. I'm not proud of it.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I thought they were going to be heels honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  145. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 7:59 PM

    GO GO POWER RANGERS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Where Parallax!?!

    ReplyDelete
  147. I think this thread should go up a bit earlier and just be "The Wednesday thead (also impact's on)". It might encourage people to post in it a bot more.

    ReplyDelete
  148. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 8:00 PM

    He was here earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Agreed. This is brutal. I'm drunk and not even entertained.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Anyone saw NJPW destruction? Is it worth a look?

    ReplyDelete
  151. I haven't watched this Impact. But I must say that last weeks was better than Raw. This one wouldn't have to do much to surpass last week's borefest Raw, either.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I was going to screenshot and post that... but I'm lazy

    ReplyDelete
  153. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 8:01 PM

Past 2 night have been slower than usual.

    ReplyDelete
  154. I will discuss it with Brian "I own Wednesday's" Bayless. It might be pretty easy to convince him.

    ReplyDelete
  155. :: Pops in like that State Farm Guy ::

    ReplyDelete
  156. Imagine if Anderson did his stupid "reach for the mic" bit, and instead of the mic someone just threw a light standard from the rafters straight at his head. That'd be awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Gabe Saposkly poked fun of WWE's production values. Has he seen Evolve? The arena, setup, and production values are a huge eyesore. The place looks like some underground fightclub in the roughest section of New York.

    ReplyDelete
  158. What motivates Mr. Kennedy to die his hair? Does he binge watch a bunch of baseball games from 1998 randomly and decide "Yep, back to the Salon!"

    ReplyDelete
  159. ROH also has bad production values, PWG's venue is small but great.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I was going to watch Evolve 35. I saw the arena and there was no way I was watching that show. The place was a complete dump.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I love that shit. Especially when it's been loaded with butter melted all in there.

    ReplyDelete
  162. This time last year, Magnus was the most improved wrestler in TNA and one of the most in north america, and was on a fast track to the world title. Then he jobbed said title to Eric Young and he's barely worked even 5 matches since then.

    ReplyDelete
  163. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 8:05 PM

Hey, I watched wrestling shows on TV that took place at a fairground.

    ReplyDelete
  164. What happened to Gabe? Everyone praises his 2004-2008 work.

    ReplyDelete
  165. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 8:06 PM

Feels so good to here this theme again though.

    ReplyDelete
  166. "Like a good franchise player Parallax is there"

    ReplyDelete
  167. Gabe Sapolsky is a fat piece of shit.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Wearing khakis.

    ReplyDelete
  169. He wants to look as awful as possible.

    ReplyDelete
  170. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 8:08 PM

    Anderson shouldn't be in that.

    ReplyDelete
  171. And TNA acts like he never was champion. Newer viewers would never know he had a title reign.

    ReplyDelete
  172. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 8:09 PM

In their defense, that was a pretty terrible reign.

    ReplyDelete
  173. WWE in 2008 was such an incredible year. Then, they flushed all the momentum down the toilet at and then after WM 25.

    ReplyDelete
  174. I thought he'd posted that because Anderson was on the screen and he looks like a mouldy butternut squash. In fact I was thinking exactly that when he posted it, which is why I upvoted him.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Bleached hair, goatee and steroid-induced veins coming out of your flesh.

    ReplyDelete
  176. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 8:10 PM

The last best year for me, haven't realized how good it was until just recently.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Raw, SD, and ECW all had separate rosters and all were having great shows weekly

    ReplyDelete
  178. I was thinking of the actual butternut squash, so it made me think that Parallax was excited to eat dinner.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Jake from State Farm wears khakis. But I guess that's a different commercial.

    ReplyDelete
  180. I legit watched 12 hours of wrestling a week then.

    ReplyDelete
  181. "Yep Mode" ABeyAnce1©September 24, 2014 at 8:12 PM

We had a blood feud, a chase, lots of twist and turns, shocking title reigns and returns. Very fun year, even the PPV themes were good.
