  1. I don't even know what he could possibly be there to say. National Coming Out Day was Saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  2. "The Authority may think they know what's best for business, but Todd Chrisley from USA Network's "Chrisley Knows Best" original series just might want to challenge that come Raw this Monday."

    Hahahaha, eeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Oh, it's gonna be a bad segment isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  4. The King of Kings versus The Queen of Queens? Ratings AIDS.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssss!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I just feel bad for international audiences. Like, WE don't even know who this honky-ass cracker is. I can only hope WWE has the good sense to put him in a segment that can easily be edited out. Like, just put him with Fandango in an "I Wonder What the Score Is?" segment.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Shit, you're right. That's depressing, isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Twist: Draws 14.9 quarter hour.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I always found it weird that they want to disavow the lineages of so many different superstars these days, particularly among the Divas (Shaul Guerrero), yet TAMINA SNUKA is the one whose history they just have to acknowledge.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Or TNA for that matter. But i think thatt Jarrett will have something big going with GFW.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yep, you're correct. Only just opened in China though, a lot of money left to be made.

    ReplyDelete
  12. In the end, I think Duggan's disappearance from the WWF had to do with being a Hogan buddy. IIRC, Duggan left the WWF in 1992 pretty much the same time Hogan did. I can't remember him doing anything on TV after the 8-man bout at WM VIII in 92. Then, as soon as Hogan comes back to help Beefcake on RAW, Duggan is back in the spotlight, helping put Yoko over right before WM IX. And he stayed pretty active from then until KOTR, where both he and Hogan got jobbed out. I really don't remember him doing much on TV after that point in 93. It's funny Hogan and Duggan were so "attached at the hip" behind the scenes (as the emailer said) but they never really formed an alliance on-screen. Sure Duggan was Hogan's understudy on house shows, they both had the patriotic gimmick, and they feuded with the same guys but they never really teamed up for a big match (Survivor Series 1990 is the only time I can remember but even then Duggan was just a random 4-on-4 throw in). Even Tugboat got to be more of a "Hogan buddy" than Duggan.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Noelle Foley will debut as Womankind, Cactus Jill, or Dudette Love.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hot wife, plus if you look at the old high school pics ue had in his first book, he was put together well. he just ended up mutilated over time.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I saw a bit of Comic Book Men last night while waiting for Walking Dead to come back.

Harley Quinn Smith (Kevin's daughter) is okay. Her voice is very low and raspy.

I've heard Noelle on Cheap Heat podcast a few times. She seems a bit valley girl-ish, but yet girl next door as well. It's a bit hard to describe.

    Too pretty for wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I am already tired of hearing Michael Cole say "daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, the PRINCESS OF HARDCORE!". . . and she hasn't even started training yet.

    ReplyDelete
  17. You may be joking, but it'll probably happen.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Twist: You put the decimal point too far to the right.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The Fast movies were bigger than Guardians, and Bond hasn't even come out yet. (And we don't even actually know if Batista is in it.) Batista isn't even on teh same planet as Rock yet in terms of movie success.

    ReplyDelete
  20. She won't. The girl is a huge fan of the product. Might have even had a crush on CM Punk at one point.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I had to look up who Todd Chrisley was. They are also having some bitch from "Real Housewives of Atlanta" on.

Has there ever been a bigger "miss" in Raw's history?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh boy, can't wait to see drunken Flair slur his words, make passes at grossed out women, and.. elbow his jacket! Ughhhh.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Duggan vs DiBiase from Mid South is usually considered the standard bearer for Hacksaw.

    ReplyDelete
  24. If he figure fours Todd Chrisley, I'm in. Elbow drop for the Housewives chick.

    ReplyDelete
  25. and a Real Housewife chick too. So embarrassingly bad.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yep. Much like Mick Foley, he wouldn't even make it past developmental these days. He connects with the audience and has tons of natural charisma but he just doesn't have the right "look." These days the WWE thinks they can take any random 6'4" muscled-up, good looking guy and manufacture charisma for him by scripting every word of his 10-munite promos week in and week out on RAW. That's how they create "stars" these days. No wonder hardly anyone stands out in their homogenized product.

    ReplyDelete
  27. "Three Stooges" anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Apropos of absolutely nothing, here are a couple of my pics from New York Comic Con this weekend.

    http://postimg.org/gallery/2if49lz4y/

Cammy can get it. As can random Black Angel-looking girl.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Never thought of that. Apt comparison.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Eh, I'd rather see Flair beg off from and sell for Chrisley.

    ReplyDelete
  31. More than that, but i think he does a lot of tags.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Is there a sexier character on TV right now than Killian Jones?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yeah, we've heard he could carry a broomstick to three snowflakes. Let's see him put his money where his mouth is by carrying a wet noodle to two and a quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I dunno, the girl who plays Anna is kind of stunning. Was irked that she wasn't on this week.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Bold Prediction: Christley won't be that bad.

He won't be Bob Barker, but we won't remember him like we do NASCAR idiots or The Three Stooges.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Traditionally, Bond movies have made good, solid $$$, but they don't break records or the box office. Casino Royale and Skyfall are particular exceptions.

My guess for the next Bond is 500 million when it's all said and done.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Didn't he turn heel in WCW? Teamed with Storm in Team Canada.

    ReplyDelete
  38. If Noelle Foley actually makes it to Raw, I expect Mick to be eating a few RKOs.

    ReplyDelete
  39. To be honest I forgot Rock was even in Fast 6, but still, it's conjecture based on him having a significant part in the first place and Bond 24 grossing as well as Skyfall ($1 billion+). Guardians only opened in China yesterday, so it certainly has a shot at overtaking Fast 6.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Summerslam at the IZOD Center? Ugh...

    ReplyDelete
  41. DAMN, that's really disappointing. I was hoping for a cool stadium show.

  43. and Cole will say, 100x a show, "Mrs. Foley's baby boy's baby girl!"

    ReplyDelete
  44. Quantum of Solace actually did nearly as well as Casino Royale. Hard to believe. But coming after Skyfall I'd imagine 700-800. Conjecture, as I said, but that's pretty much all the BoD deals in!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yea, one of the rumours was the Red Bulls stadium which would've been cool

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wouldn't surprise me if he considered a pocket of Chuck E. Cheese tokens valid legal tender.

    ReplyDelete
  47. There's no way to know that, because back in the 70's, 80's, and most of the 90's information wasn't freely available.

Also, even lots of us on BoD are fine with people being where they are. I don't think most of us believe Sheamus is going to be the next Hogan or Cena. Cesaro is probably going to be a mid-carder for life.

Most of us have more of a problem of how WWE is wasting them at their level. Like the Ryder argument again. I say let the guy get himself as over as possible, and then they all make $$$. Let these guys make money for themselves and the WWE. Why not push Cesaro when he was hot to make more money off of shirts and accessories?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well the point still stands - we treated him like a big useless lump and now he's making big hollywood movies. Respect to him for not rubbing it in everyone's faces

But to your point i think it's a case of 'don't hate the player, hate the game'. Anyone offered big money to come back to the top of the card would do the same

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah I heard that-- seemed like the perfect solution if they were worried about filling Giants Stadium. The soccer stadium is what, like 35-40 thousand? Shoulda been a no-brainer for the NY/NJ area.

    ReplyDelete
  50. She's got dick on her mind.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Noelle Foley...the first diva to be thrown off the Hell in the Cell cage.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Gunther the Nasty LoserOctober 13, 2014 at 10:09 AM

That's a straight up Mr. Satan comment right there

    ReplyDelete
  53. As long as the advertising doesn't interrupt videos once they start, I'm fine with it. If it gets to where videos in the vault suddenly get stopped for commercials, then it becomes a major problem.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Gunther the Nasty LoserOctober 13, 2014 at 10:12 AM

In the NY/NJ pairing that WWE insists on doing, who's more offended of the two at the pairing?

    ReplyDelete
  55. No big deal, Netflix does this t....oh right, no they don't.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Gunther the Nasty LoserOctober 13, 2014 at 10:13 AM

    WWE released Willie Mack!

I bet he drowns his sorrows in some Chili Mac

    ReplyDelete
  57. He wasn't in shape or trained for a comeback. He was winded from walking to the ring. It's one thing to want to make the money but he was completely cashing in.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I don't think WWE themselves know their upcoming matches.

    ReplyDelete
  59. If it keeps the Network going at 9.99, I'm fine.

I honestly wouldn't mind there being ads during shows that had ads--it's odd to watch an old Raw or Smackdown or Nitro and have a big lead up to a commercial...and then it immediately continues...

As long as they don't start doing the "every five minutes of whatever you watch, we'll insert an ad" thing that DailyMotion does...

    ReplyDelete
  60. Wonder what Flair will do tonight? WOO!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Twist: She slowly drifts away like the Forest Gump feather.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Gunther the Nasty LoserOctober 13, 2014 at 10:14 AM

I think it's just more indicative that the Network is not the success they wanted it to be

I'm trying to get my friend who is a huge wrestling fan into puro. We're going to watch Wrestle Kingdom since it's going to be in English. I kept telling her how amazing the Tanahashi vs Okada rivalry is, so this worked out perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Well, duh...

(Sorry to sound flippant...but everyone admits that it isn't what they thought it would be...but, they're pot committed now.)

    ReplyDelete

Unlike TNA, which is about to go out of business

  67. Gunther the Nasty LoserOctober 13, 2014 at 10:15 AM

She thinks you're trying to get her into porno

    ReplyDelete
  68. Considering they only call it NY/NJ when the event is clearly held in New Jersey, I'd say NJ is the one with reason to be offended. It's not advertised as NY/NJ when something's in MSG or Barclay's.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Only if there's the accompanying music.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Virgil's Gimmick TableOctober 13, 2014 at 10:16 AM

I'm okay with this, cause I want it to continue existing.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'm so psyched for Tanahashi vs. Okada AGAIN! It is seriously this generations Steamboat vs. Flair.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Gunther the Nasty LoserOctober 13, 2014 at 10:16 AM

    NJ is a B+ player

    ReplyDelete

Yeah, good idea. Pick the worst arena of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  74. QoS did so well because Casino Royale was really great. Skyfall did so well because of tremendous reviews I feel. Every reviewer and site was raving about how great Skyfall was. I was going to see it anyways, but those reviews got me really excited to actually go.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Knowing WWE, she'll come in as Michelle Axel.

Or, if she starts in NXT, she'll be Alexandria McNamara.

    ReplyDelete
  76. JR/punk on commentary...one can only dream

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yeah I don't disagree - I was hating on him hard. But I don't blame him for coming back because it was WWE's decision

"So Noelle, we're thinking about re-doing the angle your dad did with getting a vagina created in his head via chair shots. How are you with that?"

    ReplyDelete
  87. Somebody hasn't read Mick's first book! His wife was a model for years and, honestly, is still pretty smoking hot.

What's really funny is that in the same book, Mick jokes about not thinking that Noelle was very pretty as a child.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Only real difference is that Duggan had an established character - Show has flip-flopped so many times in such rapid succession that it's hard to really "get to know him" or be invested in his wins and losses.

Which is sad, cuz Show is a legitimately nice, funny, well-spoken guy.

    ReplyDelete
  89. gonna need a citation on that one. my classmate Dave used to write for them and most of his announcements were pretty spot on. he writes for Forbes now, so I think that speaks to overall trustworthiness.
