  1. So now Vince can back up a truck of money at CM Punk's place of residence AND have Steve Austin drive it because HOLY SHIT THAT NEEDS TO MAIN EVENT WRESTLEMANIA.

  2. "Steve Austin Training for a Return to the Ring?"

Hasn't this already been a news item once before?

    ReplyDelete
  3. That match would've third on the card behind Brock vs Rock and Hogan vs Cena this year.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Thank you for not reporting extra speculation as if it were news like Cult did last night.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Without (much) sarcasm, in five years I think you are getting Randy Orton and John Cena, even if its in more of a part timer role. Roman Reigns will probably be a fixture on top whether he is over or not. Hhh and Steph will still be on TV

    ReplyDelete
  6. Meltzer has but this time Austin himself has said that he was training.

    ReplyDelete
  7. This has been a news item every week for the past 10 years.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'd love to see Punk justify his involvement in this match against his convictions that "part-timers" don't deserve to take spots away from the guys who are always there.

    ReplyDelete
  9. If Austin returns full time as a *gulp* authority figure, Ambrose's heat will be pretty much gone. Ambrose is the 2014 version of Austin. With the real Austin, Ambrose will be turned into Pillman again and just be a crazy sidekick.

    ReplyDelete
  10. He's probably not going to return as an Authority figure and I think you're getting too nervous about Dean. He'll be fine.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Punk: "Fuck you! I am an edgy rebel!"

    ReplyDelete
  12. the Lucha trailer, is Konnan really in a wheelchair now or is that just a gimmick?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Austin vs Punk, Goldberg returns, Sting, Vince/HHH avatars, yadda yadda yadda

    ReplyDelete
  14. Why would Austin come back? They will completely screw it up.

    ReplyDelete
  15. There was a report last week about Austin returning full time.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hey, I saw that Wendy's commercial. Dude could use a bit of gym time #LOLFAT

    ReplyDelete
  17. He has had a lot of health problems so it might be legit. He looks a lot older than is actual age.

    ReplyDelete
  18. And people here will be complaining how the product is terrible, and wish it could be like it was during the awesome year of 2014, where Daniel Bryan was world champ, and the Shield was being elevated. Why can't it just be like 2014?

    ReplyDelete
  19. He is on the Chris Hero diet. #OHNO

    ReplyDelete
  20. Its hilarious that people think Punk's gimmick is legit. The straight edge part is but that is all. Everyone talks about how he is a dick and has been since he got popular in RoH.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 10/10 true however.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'll up it to a 3 for continuing. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. DEAL!

    *sucker... heh, heh.... *

    ReplyDelete
  24. He had surgery a while back. I don't think he's really wheel chair bound full time.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Dude's beer drinking isn't just a gimmick. Eventually that's going to get to you.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think the best thing about inside jokes is how they're fun for everyone.

Anyway, am I the only person who doesn't know what this "Frozen" song is? I suppose it's possible that if I heard it I'd say, "Oh yeah, THAT song!" But just hearing/reading it being referenced, not a clue.

    ReplyDelete
  27. If the pretend judges could verify where the hell you even took off from, this bizarre leap to conclusions would absolutely set some sort of metaphorical long jump world record.

    ReplyDelete
  28. ....right, which doesn't necessarily mean a single thing for Ambrose, much less the super-specific, character-changing event you oddly are sure it'll mean.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think he is legit an asshole... but I dint think he is this "fuck the system I do what I want!" James Dean rebel without a cause you're that a lot of people think. I think he is just as bad a polticker and spoiled brat today as HBK was in the 1990's.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I wouldn't be shocked if Austin said this on purpose, even if just so say he tried and realized he was unable to do it just to end the comeback rumors once and for all.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Which should be the basis of this hypothetical feud.

    ReplyDelete
  32. He desperately wants Ambrose to get buried, just so he can complain about it. Aka, desperately wants to recreate the Daniel Bryan/Batista dynamic from last year. For that to happen, Ambrose has to get "buried".

    ReplyDelete
  33. He was known as the "HHH of ROH" near the end of his run. He is a spoiled brat big time.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yep, basically trolling the IWC. he just has to say a simple subtle sentence, and he knows people will go crazy. He's probably having fun with it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. MELTZER SAID THEY WILL HAPPEN FOR REALLY REALS!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I haven't seen the movie, but the song is called Let It Go and the chorus is those three words over and over. My nieces and nephews are a little obsessed so I've heard them singing it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Sting will happen I think.
    Austin is 50/50, IMO
Goldberg is like a 5% chance, IMO
I think Vince is done as an on-screen character. He looks a lot older now and probably realizes that and would rather not be on television.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love how literally you take everything. :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I knew where you were coming from but just giving my non-expert opinions that all 8 of you love to hear :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. With his luck, the one year he didn't rumor it, is the year it will happen. So he's just playing it safe.

  41. Biff Kensington IIIOctober 6, 2014 at 8:09 AM

It is way too damn early to translate Canadianese, people.

    ReplyDelete
  42. How could they call it Frozen and not have any ice cream? Its bullshit

    ReplyDelete
  43. This just in:

Austin will drink beer. And curse. Maybe flip a few birds.

This had nothing to do with a possible in ring return. It's just a day in his life.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Austin has mentioned on a lot of his recent podcasts that he's on a strict diet and workout regimen for "an upcoming project." I'm going to be at Wrestlemania in Santa Clara, so of course I hope he'll be wrestling someone there, but I'm not getting my hopes up because we've been down this road before.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Love how he always tweets the beer he is drinking. And he tweets that a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Pillman is to close to Austin characterwise. They should turn Ambrose into the next Doink.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I think he's just mad there has not been an announcement about TNAs TV deal.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm one of those 8! Score!

    ReplyDelete
  49. So you're one of the people still hung up on how he badmouthed The Rock a few years ago... you know, as part of working an angle to eventually get a huge money match with him? I'm sure he actually gave as much of a shit about that as John cena did when he was "mad about The Rock leaving" a few years before, which was also... to eventually set up a wrestling match.

Punk wrestled part-timer Chris Jericho at Mania that very year, he's stated that he was a pro-Batista guy last year. I don't actually think this is a "conviction."

  50. WWE in five years?
