  1. Why Parks Why? :(

  2. Slow news day, so I'll just point out that watching Goldberg's "monday night wars" episode, the fans popped like crazy when Nash pinned him. I think people really were getting a bit sick of him, and WCW was going under no matter what.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Yeah, they definitely turned on Goldberg a bit, and Nash was
over. I think part of the pop was more a “Holy shit we just saw Goldberg
pinned!” kind of reaction, rather than a “Hurrah, Nash is champion” pop.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Hopefully Cena is as dynamic as Perd Hapley.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Maybe he’ll play the voice of Lil’ Sesbatian in a dream or something. I
don’t want to see his face.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Yeah, I have heard guys besides Nash say that about Goldberg at that time.
And yes, that company was a disaster and going under anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Given that P&R is five years in the future now, they had to get Cena because he's the only guy guaranteed to still be on top at that time. LOLCENAWINS, amirite?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Man, sometimes I get Andy's "Bye, Bye Li'l Sebastian" song stuck in my head for what seems like hours!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ron Swanson would TOTALLY no-sell the AA.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Patton Oswalt should hold another filibuster trying to explain the history of Kane. It would take up the entire season.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Totally. I mean, Jack Swagger got a massive pop when he pinned Jericho to become world champ. Sometimes fans just cheer when something shocking happens.

    ReplyDelete
  12. A Ron/John interaction could be good, as long as it involves Ron staring aghast at Cena's wardrobe and just dismissing him with a look.

    ReplyDelete
  13. My prediction is that Cena will play Tammy's new boyfriend.

    ReplyDelete
  14. This thread has become more of an update on your shitty opinions than it has for news.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I thought John Cena told us all that unlike Rock, he would NEVER leave to go off and hang out with the stars?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well guess what, Homey... HE LLIIEEEDDDD!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I have a personal website that I use mostly for testing purposes on stuff I want to try with other websites, it rarely gets any traffic but this morning it got a visitor that stayed for over an hour and was from the Russian Federation. I think we can all safely assume that it was Lana and she was doing research in how to best get in my pants right? RIGHT?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm so disillusioned. Kenny Dykstra was right. What a snake.

    ReplyDelete
  19. See "Blimey!" is one I would like to work into my every day vocabulary... are Americans allowed to use that?

    ReplyDelete
  20. If you feel the need to exclaim "Blimey!" every day, you must lead an astonishing life!

    ReplyDelete
  21. What the fuck would Randy Hales have to offer in a shoot. That's a stretch IMO. I guess he could tell some Lawler stories or something. Is anyone really dying to hear the behind scenes dirt on starting power pro wrestling? I guess maybe he can offer some insight into the last days of uswa but man, rf video is scrapping the bottom of the barrel here.

    ReplyDelete
  22. YOU DIDN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION!

Sorry to get angry, I just wanted to know if there are forms that need to be filled out or anything like that so I can get the ball rolling!

    ReplyDelete
  23. He was in the Memphis scene for a long time
Waiting for the RF Del Rio and Tyler Reks shoots to come out.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yep, have legit never heard of him either.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I was there live and the Wolfpack was very over, there was definitely some Goldberg burn out.

    ReplyDelete
  26. He was a manager in uswa and maybe a booker too. When it folded he started power pro wrestling. What this big star doesn't ring any bells for you?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I couldn't even believe when I saw his name. He was basically uswa's version of Paul heyman in wcw (on screen) but as a face and without the promo skills.

    ReplyDelete
  28. You can use it on a trial basis for 30 days, then you have to go in front of the guv'nor to decide whether you can use it on a permanent basis.

    ReplyDelete
  29. As has been beaten to death though, they
didn’t book him very well between his title win and his title loss.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Did you know it was Scott Hall live?!

    ReplyDelete
  31. It could have been Nikoli trying to figure out if he could apply for a job somehow on your site?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Who's the least important figure in wrestling history to do a shoot. Because man, Randy Hales might be at the top of the list. Has any second string awa manager ever done a shoot? Maybe a WCCW jobber?

    ReplyDelete
  33. He was a booker and basically ran Memphis. He was huge in the territory.

    ReplyDelete
  34. He definitely didn't run Memphis when it meant anything though. He was in late uswa managing pg-13 and I'm not sure how much booking he did until its dying days when everyone left. He did start and book power pro wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hales was huge in Memphis. He booked and basically ran the territory.

    ReplyDelete
  36. He was writing the TV's when it was popular.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't think I agree with that. He was never involved in the cwa stuff, he was just a Kate uswa manager who got on the committee in its dying days and then started powers pro wrestling. I don't think he was even in Memphis until 1995. I could be wrong but that's my understanding.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I didn’t make the rules. I’m not the Guv’nor! I wish I was!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Dude, he was in Memphis in the 80's when Lawler and Dundee where huge. He was basically Jerry Jarrett's right hand guy.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I have it on good authority that you made up that rule.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'd watch the trailer but I'm using my tablet and the wifi on this train isn't good enough to play a video.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Brodus? He was on TV really recently and still
nobody cares about his shoot. Imagine how little they’ll care as time goes by.

    ReplyDelete
  43. "RF Video Presents: Bob From WWWF Accounting: June 1976 - August 1976 Shoot Interview"

    ReplyDelete
  44. I can’t imagine what kind of good authority
would have the temerity to proclaim on such matters.

    ReplyDelete
  45. He was in Memphis when the Poffo family was there too I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I've never heard that at all. He wasn't on TV as a manager until the mid 90's, and I've never heard of him being involved with the CWA pre wccw merger . But I'm not a Memphis territory expert or anything. Still a quick google search didn't turn up much for me either. I say fuck this two bit cocksucker lol

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm very suprised to hear he was in Memphis for so long.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Highspots did one with Ranger Ross

    ReplyDelete
  49. Man me and Bayless are really making this thread must read material with all this Randy Hales debating! This Memphis talk makes me wonder 1)did Lawler ever finalize vinces deal to get the old "CWA" library and does the wwe own the uswa footage?

    ReplyDelete
  50. He wrote the TV's and was Jerry Jarrett's guy in the 80's.

    ReplyDelete
  51. 30 years in Memphis.

    ReplyDelete
  52. John Cena: "I will never leave wrestling for Hollywood."

Cena has missed at least three RAWs this year because he was filming projects.

    ReplyDelete
  53. He was office for years, especially around SuperClash and the earlier switch from NWA to AWA.

    ReplyDelete

    Morning all.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Went to Randy Hales twitter account. 503 followers. Solid.

    ReplyDelete
  56. But he still wins, so who is the loser here?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Cant' wait until RF releases a Jeremy Borash shoot to get all that juicy TNA gossip!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I just remember him getting fire balled by Gilbert when he was the manager, and how much he sucked on the mic.

    ReplyDelete
  59. These exchanges are going to be buried underneath a couple hundred comments in an hour, but damn, this was funny. It's even funnier if I read your comments in the voice of Hugh Laurie or Robert Webb.

    ReplyDelete

The people who face him in the ring.

  61. Re-upped on the Network last night. I've got 23 days to cram in '96 WCW.

    ReplyDelete
  65. You son of a bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 8:27 AM

The fact that Kane never used the fireball in any of his matches is a travesty.

  67. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 8:28 AM

Oh YEAH? well...well Vader is Luke's father..

    ReplyDelete
  68. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    ReplyDelete
  69. Maybe we can get Greg the Office Boy from Ring of Honor to Shoot on Cornette.

    ReplyDelete
  70. My brother asked me last night what he should watch on the network because he was trying the free preview. I drew a blank. I watch it for the new PPVs, Nxt, and early Nitros, but that's about it. I was burnt out on the network a few months ago. I'm still hoping for the day when Prime Time and Saturday Night make an appearance.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 8:29 AM

One of my favorite lines from Cheers was when Woody said Vader couldn't be Luke's father because they don't have the same last name.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Will this process take a Fortnight? You guys say that right?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 8:32 AM

No. We use more sophisticated words like "crunk" and "twerk"

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yeah I know but I figured YOLO!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 8:33 AM

Read it in the voice of Steve Irwin.

    ReplyDelete
  76. All I know of Randy Hales is from Foley's book and how he thought Mick was the biggest pussy he'd ever seen after a stinger injury and Jeff Jarrett told Hales to fuck off because he'd never been in the ring.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Especially his failed attempts at the Knockouts!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yeah but you're not allowed to.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I did quote Peep Show during this exchange, it's true.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I find the PPV's to be useless without having the TV buildup. I tried watching them standalone, but couldn't really get into it.

Having the new PPV's doesn't really do anything for me since I'm not interested in the current product.

    ReplyDelete
  81. "Hulk Hogan, you can go to hell! We're outta here. Straight to hell."

    ReplyDelete
  82. You'd think his time with the master down in Smoky Mountain would have taught him a thing or two.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Is there any angle in the history of wrestling better executed than the Bash at the Beach 1996 main event?

"If it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff would still be selling meat from a truck in Minneapolis."

Everything was note for note perfection.

    ReplyDelete
  84. In Soviet Russia, girls hack you!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Except that Hogan botched the name right off the bat. "New World Organization!"

    ReplyDelete
  86. He called it New World Order twice and "New World Organization" once. I can live with that.

    ReplyDelete
  87. What about Silverdome twice, and Superdome once?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Well that certainly wasn't perfect, although that opening was such a great moment.

3 biggest names in WrestleMania history toasting to the business. Doesn't get much better than that.

    ReplyDelete
  89. That was one case where the botch from Hogan ended up adding to the moment because Austin and Rock both played off of it and the crowd loved it.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I was there live too. I was a little high up and couldn't tell it was Hall until they showed the replay on the screen. They did a good job of fooling the live crowd (at least in my section) b/c everyone was kind of distracted by the Disco Inferno/Bigelow run-ins so not everyone noticed a random security guard hopping up on the apron.

    ReplyDelete
  91. That's true. It added to the segment. And you can't blame Hogan for having the Silverdome on his mind. That's when he tore every muscle in his back bodyslamming the 900 pound Andre the Giant in front of 120,000 people, and shortly afterward Andre died. It was probably very traumatic for him.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Man, I wish I'd been able to see some of these famous old shows live. But fucking hell. There was a Disco Inferno run-in? In the main event at Starrcade? I must've blocked that out.

    ReplyDelete
  93. TNA ratings are up! Just in time for the announcement of a new TV deal........right?

    ReplyDelete
  94. I hear that. You can't really get a proper feel of the era, especially in the Monday Night Wars time when more often than not, more could happen on TV than at the PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Yep, Austin's deadpan delivery of "It's great to be back in the Silverdome", followed by the little smile was perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 7, 2014 at 9:13 AM

John Cena missing from RAW and TNA's ratings were up slightly.
    .
    Coincidence?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Even Hogan picked on himself at the end when he said "Whatcha gonna do brothers when Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, the Rock, WrestleMania and the SUPERDOME go wild on you?"

Another great part of the segment was when Rock brought up Cena and he got booed. Then he brought up Bryan and the crowd exploded.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Everybody like to think nWo, but I've got one word for you: Thundercage.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Yeah, he was kind of a Wolfpac apprentice and was trying to earn his way into the group by helping Nash. He ran in and promptly got speared.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Minor threadjack: What the fuck happened to music? If it were a character on the Walking Dead, it would be Bob's leg on the spit, or maybe Hershel's reanimated head. When I was young, bass meant bass lines, or the lowest vocal range; it was not to be phonically raped by a pudgy chick and the scariest Nicky Minaj clones ever.

I don't think anyone would have a problem with Lana hacking their back up.

    ReplyDelete
  103. What he told you was correct, from a certain point of view.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 9:23 AM

Jobber...are you making a run at the Top 3?

    ReplyDelete
  105. lol i was about to type the same thing. his only fuck up, oh well it was still fucking awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  106. This bit never gets old. I legit smile/giggle/am amused every single time.

    ReplyDelete
  107. It's so crazy that the original plan reported at the time was just Hogan in 4 seperate cage matches, against I think Sullivan, Flair, Luger and Giant. The guy was literally gonna put himself over everyone single handedly.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 9:30 AM

You missed a couple zeros in there.

    ReplyDelete
  109. They actually hyped it on one of their shows before the 2 on 8 change. I believe it was Flair, Anderson, Sullivan, and Loch Ness.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Heenan's "whose side is he on?" was a much bigger botch. In his defense I really wonder if he wasn't smartened up first.

    ReplyDelete
  111. That one never bothered me. Heenan calling hogan a savior and suddenly loving him would have given it away more, I feel.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 9:35 AM

Allegedly no one was told. But I can give him a pass due to his history with Hogan.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Will you miss Cena while he's away filming Parks & Recreation?

    ....KNOPE.

    Howboutit?!!?!!!

    ReplyDelete

You mean like the Rockers break up.

    "They need each other."

    *Superkick*

    "He don't need him!!!"

    ReplyDelete
  115. That was great too. Jannetty was a coward though.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Great. Now I see her laying into someone with a machete. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Excellent lol to log in to

    ReplyDelete
  118. Charismatic eNegro Jef VinsonNovember 7, 2014 at 9:41 AM

Yep. The way he jumped through that window to try an escape Shawn was cowardly.

    ReplyDelete
  119. There has always been great stuff, crap, and everything in between.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Here's something that's been bugging me and is directed at no one in particular: I've noticed that each time some sort of disappointing news comes out regarding the Network, there's a camp that busts on WWE for its mind-blowing hubris and for not making it good enough, then there's a camp that blames the fans for asking for too much.

I think both arguments have their merits and flaws, however, I lean towards the person who says they are willing to part with their money if WWE gives them more historical content. I just don't see this as an unreasonable request and I don't understand why someone has to be ripped for having this opinion.

This half-hearted rant is appropos of nothing, just something I wanted to put out there to understand future arguments about why Network subscription numbers suck.

    ReplyDelete
  121. He accidentally made the whole segment, without that running joke that opening would've been pretty boring actually.

Well not boring, but not nearly as hilarious as it was.

    ReplyDelete
  122. BUT WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?? (oh wait, you kind of implied what side you're on. nevermind!!!)

    ReplyDelete
  123. Well somebody had to pin him and looking at the roster, Nash was actually a pretty good choice. You can't be the champ forever. The timing could have been a bit better, but that's WCW all over. see also: Goldberg winning the belt in the first place.

That was never the problem. The problem was that other than the streak, creative had absolutely no good ideas for him and it doesn't seem as if Goldberg had any ideas either.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I'm technically on both sides. I'm fine with the amount of historical content on now, but I understand the person who is holding out until more gets posted.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Yeah, I always felt that if your entire character is based on being undefeated for life, it's a pretty fragile character.

    ReplyDelete
  126. The company reminds me exactly of how Square Enix used to operate in the early days of FFXI, there seemed to be no communication coming from the developers. I think that would go a LONG way to helping the product.

It's been 8 months and I still don't have it saving my spot on the Xbox, and while annoying it would be nice to know if they are even aware of that and ever intended working on it. Or if they ever plan to develop an upload schedule or things like that.

It would really help if they'd develop an official fan/dev forum or something where they could address things like that.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Yeah, I should have added that there are some technical aspects to it that people often complain about, but are still unaddressed.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I don't understand the argument that some have of "Oh they are waiting to put stuff up to draw in newer subscribers", well that hasn't worked obviously and I think they'd have FAR more subscribers if they just dumped everything RAWs, Nitros, Saturday Night, Prime Time, House Shows, Memphis, etc.EVERYTHING that is digitalized and ready to be put up.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I have a theory that had they uploaded everything right away, those who are currently complaining would have already watched absolutely everything 3 times over, then would have cancelled due to not having anything more to see. That is just a theory however.

    ReplyDelete
  130. I think you generalize people too much.

    ReplyDelete
  131. you are wrong. YOU ALL ARE WRONG!!

    ReplyDelete
  132. Generalizing people is great. Rick Rude was the best. I did not know that every person in Cincinnati was a fat, out of shape, sweathog for example.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Content wise I think it's great, there's not a lot more one could ask for at this point. Everyone wants something different so it's going to take awhile, I *want* them to have Boogie Nights on Netflix too, but that doesn't mean Netflix sucks lol.

Even a developer Twitter account "Hey @XBox users, we're looking into the playback functionality, stay tuned!" would assuage me for a month, this is simple corporate PR stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Nah, it would be impossible to plow through all of it. I'm fine with staggering it out because if I have too many choices, I get overwhelmed. It's like going to Cheesecake Factory. But I can see the type of person who likes having everything at their fingertips.

    ReplyDelete
  135. There's a great point that's been raised that a lot of this stuff (not all of it, though) likely has no closed captioning. Netflix got sued for a lack of closed captioning in the past. That may be a hurdle here, as well.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Right. I recall that coming up. I think they should at least take Marv's advice and communicate with people on some of the issues.

    ReplyDelete
  137. The best solution would have been for Heenan to just shut up. This is the only scenario ever where I wouldn't want Heenan to speak.

    ReplyDelete
  138. They aren't... have you not watched WKRP and seen Lonnie Anderson?

    ReplyDelete
  139. If Netflix doesn't add WKRP to streaming I WILL CANCEL FUCK YOU NETFLIX.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I'm not sure, overall, how much it would help. I think the general reaction would be "DURR I'M NOT DEAF SO WHO CARES PUT ALL THE STUFF UP."

    ReplyDelete
  141. I cancelled Netflix a while ago, but the new TV shows which are coming up are making me think I might have to go back. Daredevil might be the lynchpin.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Why don't you contact customer support and ask? It'll take two minutes out of your creeping on other posters time.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Or just people who want the whole angle. I'm holding out on a lot of classic stuff in the hope the TV comes around to give better context. I'd like to be able to watch feuds one at a time.

    ReplyDelete
  144. At the very least, using the @WWENetwork account to address questions would at least show that they aren't totally tone deaf.

    ReplyDelete
  145. They might ask me for my account information, I don't really need them looking at my account lol

    ReplyDelete
  146. Complaining is all well and good but most people complain to their friends on a message board and not to the people that can address said complaint.

    ReplyDelete
  147. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 7, 2014 at 10:03 AM

Great use of her last name.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I totally read "General Rection" there. I miss the Misfits in Action.

    ReplyDelete
  149. You know what would be fucking cool? A special ON the Network about what a piece of footage has to go through to get on the Network!

I'm not kidding. Grab Mathews and a cameraman and just have him shadow the editing team for a few days, spruce it up with some effects and there you go, you've addressed the issue and made cool content.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Well complaining to the blo won't get this fixed for you. You could buy a PS3 I know just for the network? Stupid! But you won't have to pay to be able to use the network (well besides the 9.99) and it has the features you're looking for. Alternately you can search the net for the team responsible for creating the Xbox app and talk to them directly about it.

    ReplyDelete
  151. With my month I've been watching the WCW ppvs I don't own. I'm up to '99, and I'm wishing I'd have watched the corresponding 96 Nitros with the ppvs. I guess I can still go back and do that.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Exactly. He's questioned Hogan's integrity for years. Doing it again here isn't out of the norm for him. Except in this case he was right.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Xbox Live doesn't cost anything to use apps like WWE or Netflix anymore thank god, I didn't buy a 360 until this summer for that specific reason lol.

I get what you're saying, but isn't the idea that customers shouldn't have to seek out answers to questions about your new big project? Shouldn't they be working on these things already to entice people with a better viewing experience?

    ReplyDelete
  154. Agreed. That brings so much history in the angle and puts it in the proper historical context from Heenan's perspective. I don't see it as a botch at all.

    ReplyDelete
  155. That's somehow even worse. Imagine Hogan wrestling 4 times. He'd make Warrior look like John Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Totally, no one in the moment suspected Hogan would turn because of Heenan, it was only watching it again where people realized Bobby had even said that and then decided to read into it.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Not at all. The typical wrestling fan will deal with xrap in order to see their precious shows. Proof being in every thread on this board. If you have a technical problem with an app game or piece of hardware the only way to get it remedied or get answers is by contacting the persons responsible. What if everyone were like you and never reported their issues? Everything would be "fine" even when it's terribly broken.

Cena on P&R should be entertaining.

  160. I've never booed a documentary, but I think I would boo when they introduced Kevin Dunn.

  161. Not at all....lol. Forget it.

  162. I would CC all of Vince's commentary. How many "As" are in BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK BODY DROP?

  163. Missy was SUCH a POA back then. It's a travesty what she's done to herself.

  164. Here's a fun question, how does WWE make Ambrose and Bray stronger when the come out o the feud with each other?

    ReplyDelete
  165. They can't fix things that people aren't complaining to them about. Hence why they do surveys and have customer service and all.

WWE Logic: Add Cena to the mix, because he makes everything better.
Fan Logic: Give them adequate time on the mic and book matches that work to their strengths.

  169. From the bits I saw, I think Cena's latest involvement kind of helped Ambrose/Rollins.

First, it showed how much Rollins was hated, that everyone wanted a piece of him
Then, I saw that Contract on a pole match, and Dean's little "You want this contract? TOO LATE!!" look was awesome. Then Cena was forced into a "consolation prize" match, as Ambrose got the better of him.

I know Cena ain't perfect, but all of that seemed fine to me.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Absolutely. I mean, her lifestyle was going to put additional mileage on her anyway, but that duckface look is just horrendous.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Yeah the consolation prize sure did suck, as he got a title shot at RR and he got to face Rollins the next ni....wait, what were we talking about again?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Yeah, I know the rest wasn't perfect, I just meant what led up to the Cell match.

I had no issue in that case because they both wanted the same thing. (the title match) It helped segue Ambrose back into a program with Rollins.

Cena is not needed in the feud between Wyatt and Ambrose.

  174. Matthews works for tna

  175. I'll never understand lip work. I have never seen a case where it's not ugly. (Also, for anyone watching Survivor, John Rocker's girlfriend Julie is pretty much a perfect ten, EXCEPT the duck lips. I'd bet anything she got work done on them also.)

    ReplyDelete
  176. Well, they at least aren't sitting in the back playing video games, so there's that.

  177. This is one of those cases where Cena's involvement meant little, and shouldn't have even been part of it. Cena vs. Orton, with a title shot on the line (and Orton showing he still wants his rematch, which in turn helps him to turn face) would be ok as a storyline (even if the participants are tired). Though I'd be wondering how to book Rollins not interfering.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Sorry *totally generic talking head that I will call Josh Matthews for the next 6 years anyway

    ReplyDelete
  179. TNA really will grab ANYONE that WWE released, won't they?

    ReplyDelete
  180. I wonder if both leaving the other boxes with different items (IE, ways to sneak attack the other) would work.

  181. as has been pointed out, Netflix has tons of stuff still not close captioned. Also it close captioning something is very quick process. They do the news live every night. How hard can it be to type out the transcript of a show? Hire some fast typists and do it. Not buying this argument. Anyone seen a legit news site with hard info on this alleged issue? And hasn't every Raw and SD been CCed since 98 or so?

    ReplyDelete
  182. Yeah he was doing a YouTube show I think and working in their front offices.

    ReplyDelete
  183. I feel like, were it my full time job, I could probably do 6 hours of CC in an 8 hour period. Keep VINTAGE on copy/paste and you're set.

    ReplyDelete
  184. I didn't receive one survey after my subscription lapsed.

    ReplyDelete
  185. You should send them a complaint about that. *rimshot* (hey, i found it funny. Screw you all!!)

    ReplyDelete
  186. Agreed there, too (wow, twice in one day!). Lisa Rinna was the first one I remember ruining her lips, then Meg Ryan and Lara Flynn Boyle destroyed their faces, too. I don't know why anyone would get lip implants after those disasters.

Funny side note, some of my friends and I went to Cooperstown for the HoF induction this year and ended up drinking with Rocker (along with Marquis Grissom and Leo Mazzone). He actually told us that he was voted off on Day 8 (this was well before the season aired). I wish we had thought to ask him who won, you can action on sportsbooks for those things. As expected, the guy was a total maniac and still looks juiced to the gills. His girlfriend wasn't there, unfortunately. Got some great stories out of that night, though. Leo Mazzone is one grumpy-ass boozebag.

    ReplyDelete
  187. Good stuff! And yeah, the guy looks like he could truck over well...a truck.

    ReplyDelete
  188. why not neither of those two?

    ReplyDelete
  189. are you intentionally forgetting about Hogan having his fun with it?

    ReplyDelete
  190. Well I can't really blame him, I mean it was one of the biggest moments in history, and he was one of the 3 commentators. I would have probably excitedly said something too.
