Got done reading the Ricardo Shoot interview and the thread below. So depressing.

    ReplyDelete
  2. After nine straight days of work, finally looking forward to my weekend off...

    ReplyDelete
  3. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 5:47 PM

I'm at work not and trying to block out the face that I have 4 hours tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  4. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 5:48 PM

Yes but it led to lots of ice pack jokes this week so there's that.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Watching a movie called "The Guest". This film is surprisingly dope!

    ReplyDelete
  6. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 5:52 PM

Just finished reading Bill Simmons, NFL column. I just want to take the time to say that fucking hate Bill Simmons.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I didn't even get halfway through.

    ReplyDelete
  8. The weekend can not get here soon enough. ugggghhhh

    ReplyDelete
  9. My boss' last day was today, so the crew is taking him out for a few drinks. Totally cuts into Far Cry 4 time.

    ReplyDelete
  10. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 5:55 PM

The only saving grace is that most of his NFL columns are mailbags, and his readers are better then he is.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I saw it in theaters. It was...disturbing

    ReplyDelete
  12. That is true. He's completely mailed these in. Not even sure why he still does it. Even some of the responses were mailed-in. He just posted links to old mailbags or videos he's used at least 20 times already

    ReplyDelete
  13. I've seen disturbing-er.

    ReplyDelete
  14. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 5:57 PM

So don't go. It's not like he can fire you.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 5:59 PM

I want to give a big FUCK YOU to Arthur Chu as he FAILS to win the Tournament of Champions on Jeopardy.

    I hate that guy.

    ReplyDelete
  16. He's a really good dude and treated us really well. I can't be a dick ALL of the time.

    ReplyDelete
  17. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:00 PM

Did he win too many times on jeopardy and refuse to put younger talent over, or lay around on the set to long before giving his final answer?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Tomorrow's SNL Classic is Paul Simon/George Harrison. Holy shit

    ReplyDelete
  19. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:02 PM

Just his strategy and arrogance, dude; but I like your response.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Nowhere to go, nothing to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:04 PM

Also, the radio market I live in has three Top 40 radio stations, and they all seem to play the same song within 5 minutes of each other. Whenever I'm giving the step-kid a ride somewhere, he listens to that garbage.

If I hear Jeremih's "Don't Tell 'Em" one more time, I'm tearing the antenna out of my car.

    ReplyDelete
  22. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:06 PM

I'm at work...have 4 more hours tomorrow morning and the only new show I have saved on my DVR is Red Band but I want to wait until tomorrow night so I can watch it drunk....it's one of those shows that's pretty good sober but REALLY good drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  23. If The Authority loses power at Survivor Series? Who do they lose it to exactly?

I know the angles terrible with Vince adding the stip for no reason,John Cena actually being a model employee and HHH not bothering to wrestle with so much on the line for him personally but man did any of those soap opera reject writers think any of this through?

    ReplyDelete
  24. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:10 PM

I assumed they lose it to Grumpy Cat.

    ReplyDelete
  25. You cannot even blame the writers. Look at NXT; it's filled with writers, and the product is very good. I blame the people who are in charge.

    ReplyDelete
  26. They should go with total nonstop anarchy.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'll be watching the new Hunger Games flick. *Actual* entertainment, for once. What a concept!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I may make it a double feature and watch Birdman after that.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Bootleg Birdman and send it to me.

    ReplyDelete
  30. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:15 PM

If you use ice packs, we'll all use ice packs...it's be anarchy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Like, I saw this movie about these toys, right? And when no one is around, they come to life! There's a cowboy and a spaceman and a dinosaur and a slinky dog...it's unreal and loads of fun!

But here's where the disturbing part comes...the boy who owns them, who the toys adore, doesn't want to play with them anymore...it's like he doesn't even care about the noble toys that gave him such happiness as a child.

    Sniff.

    ReplyDelete
  32. LOL at another HHH 17 minute and counting promo to open Smackdown!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessNovember 21, 2014 at 6:18 PM

    Blah.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I hope the Authority losing arcs the company in a bigger and better direction.....even though them losing this match is by far the most anticlimactic way to disband the Authority.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I like how Honky just says F it and gets counted out when he's by himself vs. Savage, Steamboat, and Jake.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Back to playing Fire Pro returns.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Or maybe do that move when you're going to shake someone's hand but then wave it over your slicked-back hair instead.

    ReplyDelete
  38. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:22 PM

The Detroit Pistons would adopt a similar stragety years later against the bulls. Although I approved cause fuck Jordan and Pippin.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Top 5 WWE in-ring workers: Rollins, Cesaro, Zayn, Ambrose Harper

    ReplyDelete
  40. Top 5 mic workers?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think I'd probably put Itami and Balor above Ambrose. Maybe even Harper, too.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Other than Ambrose, I don't think anyone is really exceptional.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Not that it matters at all, but I want to see Wall/Beal destroy Irving/Waiters for "best backcourt".

Waiter's ego is something else. Never heard that much talk for a player who hasn't figured it out yet.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Still don't believe they are losing.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Balor is catching on. Itami is not there yet.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wait a minute. We had this whole kerfuffle this afternoon about you putting Harper as one of the best big men of all-time based on what he accomplished outside of WWE on the independents. And you're saying KENTA, a Japanese superstar who has won multiple titles in Japan's biggest feds, is "not there yet"?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Well, allow me to retort. Hulk Hogan must be a better worker than most people because he has won multiple titles.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Orton, Rollins, Ambrose, Cena, Lesnar.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Probably Wyatt, Ambrose, Cena, Triple H and Steph sadly.

    ReplyDelete
  50. You're unbelievable if you think Luke Harper is a better worker than KENTA.

    ReplyDelete
  51. And I said this when?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Sigh...by saying he's "not there yet" and putting Harper in your top five in-ring workers over KENTA.

    ReplyDelete
  53. He isn't there yet in terms of adapting to WWE's is what I was saying. But let's jump to conclusions, shall we?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Kenta's kind of flubbing on WWE style, Harper adapted awesomely.

    ReplyDelete
  55. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:32 PM

So with the Survivor Series coming up here are my thoughts on Montreal....After watching the tape I am CONVINCED that the DOA/Truth Comission match was a work.

    ReplyDelete
  56. To be fair, KENTA hasn't really had a chance to go all-out. And Harper hasn't really had a notable singles match yet although his tag matches were pretty good.

I think I'd put Ziggler on the list, too or at least an honourable mention. When was the last time he had a bad match?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Heyman definitely wins the best in promos award of WON.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Well, maybe you should have said it.

    ReplyDelete
  59. "Top 5 WWE in-ring workers: Rollins, Cesaro, Zayn, Ambrose, Harper
"Balor is catching on. Itami is not there yet."

    ....

    ReplyDelete
  60. I like KENTA. But, let's face it, he went to the Teddy Hart school of psychology. The more movez you do and the harder you hit people, the best the match is.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I don't mind him hunting for Daiky Doubles, that's a pretty common top tier tactic for ages, it's his frequent talking over Alex that bugs me. I thought part of the screening process was weeding out people who don't know the give and take flow of interacting with the host.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Cena, Zayn, Cesaro, Rollins, Itami/Balor tied.

    ReplyDelete
  63. The guy's had like two matches? Let's write him off completely!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Curse of les Boulez might finally be lifted...

    ReplyDelete
  65. Life begins at conception.

    ReplyDelete
  66. BTW, got back to simulating FPR.

    ReplyDelete
  67. What are you simulating tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'm only picking main roster so...

    Rollins, Ambrose, Cesaro, Orton, Bryan

    ReplyDelete
  69. Clearly, I was talking about his ROH and NOAH work. I've seen KENTA's work for almost a decade now. And, I'm glad he's in WWE, where he'll learn more about storytelling, less is more, psychology - and more importantly - selling.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Not writing him off per se, but you can't put him there yet.

    ReplyDelete
  71. BOOM! SHOCKALAKA SHOCKALAKA SCHOCKALAKA

    ReplyDelete
  72. Going and seeing the new Hunger Games with the wife, and then later probably finishing watching the 1989 Survivor Series.

    ReplyDelete
  73. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:37 PM

Are you playing NBA Jam? If so....cool!

    ReplyDelete
  74. nah. Just playing off the womb there it is.

    ReplyDelete
  75. The CNW world title is now hostage, Mirko Cro Cop squashed KENTA. Cro Cop wants to destroy professional wrestling forever.

Ishii continues to defend the TV, he had his last defense against Shiro Koshinaka in MOTYC.

The tag titles are now in the hands of Junior Stars (Koji Kanemoto and Minoru Tanaka), right now they're making a title defense against CIMA and "Speed Star" Masato Yoshino.

    ReplyDelete
  76. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:38 PM

Hogan and Katniss survive...Ventura and Snow get mad about it....sorry to spoil it for you.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I was specifically talking about WWE wrestlers.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Have Toru Yano challenge Cro Cop!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Selling is a concept that Japanese wrestling is not very tolerant.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Sixers down 90-58 with 4 minutes left the third quarter at home against the Suns. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  81. Mostly, I didn't put them up there because they've wrestled a whole two matches.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I read the article on almost SurSer teams today and I'm still trying to figure out what The Berzerker was all about. I don't recall him ever doing anything heelish or babyfaceish. She just said huss and called it a day.

    ReplyDelete
  83. The CEO and former tag team champ(me) is planning to call Vader to get Cro Cop's head, and I'm challenging the winners of the tag match.

    The hiatus is due college.

    ReplyDelete
  84. AJPW had some of the best pure sellers in the world. I watch some NJPW matches, where the brunt of the match is working on the leg, and then the dude who makes his comeback brushes it off like it never happened. I feel like screaming, "What the fuck are you doing?"

    ReplyDelete
  85. He was about hussing and knocking people over the top rope. What's to get?

    ReplyDelete
  86. Wasn't Vader champ before?

    ReplyDelete
  87. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:41 PM

Tried to impale The Undertaker with his sord once.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Has Ambrose really shown that much yet? I'm not trying to start an argument but all his matches have been gimmicks.

Hmm...Ziggler or Ambrose...who's the better worker?

    ReplyDelete
  89. Now that you put it that way.....

    ReplyDelete
  90. If WWE wants to change things up a bit, they can use an on-air kayfabe booking committee.

Mick Foley, Fit Finlay, and Dean Malenko, or other combos.

    ReplyDelete
  91. You're off your damn rocker! It was the shootiest shoot that ever shot!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Didn't he carry a big honkin' sword to ringside? And tried to stab Taker with it once?

Oh, and he chunked opponents over the top rope. And was with Mr. Fuji.

    ReplyDelete
  93. That pisses me off every time, as much I'm Ishii mark. I hate his no-selling spots.

    ReplyDelete
  94. I don't remember the UT thing. When was this?

    ReplyDelete
  95. Those are my five and six. We've got a distinct bar everybody on the roster seems to be at. It's higher than it used to be, but now nobody has promo skills.

    ReplyDelete
  96. He would beat up dudes and win by count-out.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Well ESPN is screwed up on thanks to those dildos at Time Warner...sigh...so Smackdown it is...ugh

    ReplyDelete
  98. Yes, he lost the title to Takao Omori. Then Omori lost to Kenta.

    ReplyDelete
  99. A Saturday Night Main Event...I think...not sure.

    ReplyDelete
  100. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:43 PM

Wrestling Challenge maybe. Bayless should be up to that review in a few years.

    ReplyDelete
  101. It would mean so much if he did it less. He overkills the no-selling, and it's the main reason I never considered him an elite wrestler.

    ReplyDelete
  102. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAjGhWl1EoA

Berserker actually HITS Taker with the sword. But misses the stab.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Mark Henry is pretty good when he's inspired.

    ReplyDelete
  104. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:45 PM

Foley and Hogan...Come on TELL me that wouldn't produce some fun moments?

    ReplyDelete
  105. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:45 PM

Dude is all like "yeah yeah, shut up and give me Things in My Anus for $1200".

    ReplyDelete
  106. It's sad that we have to get far enough in the thought process to get to Henry. I also gave Bug Shiw consideration.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Him no selling yujiro's low blow made me cut some stars in my match rating. But I still consider him to be the best wrestler of 2014.

    ReplyDelete
  108. That would be pretty funny, actually. The Hoke N' Sock Connection!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Bryan is number 1 on any list when he's active.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Junior Stars retain the tag belts after a knee bar of Tanaka to Yoshino.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:46 PM

I'm going out to find me some STEALS on BLACK Friday

    ReplyDelete
  112. Do Cro Cop vs. Vader in a cage.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Flair needs a paycheck, can he come too?

    ReplyDelete
  114. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:47 PM

Steal from Walmart. They deserve it.

    ReplyDelete
  115. The best wrestling game EVAH!

    ReplyDelete
  116. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:48 PM

Yes but he has to show up drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:48 PM

The local Walmart made the news when two meth heads just waltzed out the front doors with two shopping carts full of electronics.

Just walked right out, without anyone stopping them.

    ReplyDelete
  118. First I have to negotiate with Vader, a CEO's life is not easy. ahahaha.

    ReplyDelete
  119. At what point does Adam Silver call the owner? 0-20?

    ReplyDelete
  120. What's the record for worst start to a season for the Big 4 leagues?

    ReplyDelete
  121. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:49 PM

I...I have new respect for meth heads.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Nets were 0-18. Never forgive, never forget.

    ReplyDelete
  123. The Orioles started out 0-23.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Everyone knew this was coming

    ReplyDelete
  125. Never underestimate the ingenuity of meth/crack heads looking to get their fix

    ReplyDelete
  126. Offer him some chinese food

    ReplyDelete
  127. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:51 PM

StarDust is cracking me up on commentary with his cackling.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Dean Ambrose's survival tips? Does this mean more Prop Comedy?

    ReplyDelete
  129. For sure, but Goddamn. Shit is disgraceful already, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Have Cena leech your heat, avoid holograms and hop back on the midcard treadmill?

    ReplyDelete
  131. He's great at facial expressions, storytelling and psychology. Ambrose is better than Ziggler because he makes you care more about his matches.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:53 PM

Don't you come at the king like that!

    ReplyDelete
  133. At this point, would you be more worried that Ambrose is the best they can do creatively or just them Reigns-otaging him?

    ReplyDelete
  134. For those who have beaten Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD, I got to Hyrule Castle today. Am I about halfway through?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Good Christ...in baseball, you should catch a break by then.

    ReplyDelete
  136. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:54 PM

Calm down....he's not going to steal black people. Wait..that's not what your doing Stranger, right?

    ReplyDelete
  137. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:55 PM

    Let me check the calendar.

Oh snap! I thought it said 1814!

    ReplyDelete
  138. But... but I came hard!

    ReplyDelete
  139. You haven't changed your calendar in 200 years?

I've got a Far Side one.

    ReplyDelete
  140. The All-American GM - Hogan
    The Extreme GM - Foley
    The Drunk GM - Flair

    ReplyDelete
  141. My roommate did that at grocery stores for years. He'd walk out with $400 in food and nobody stopped him.

    ReplyDelete
  142. If I was going to play video games again, Ocarina of Time would be one I'd go back to.

    ReplyDelete
  143. 0-21 in 1988, but that's little consolation.

That start actually got Cal Ripken's dad fired as manager.

    ReplyDelete
  144. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 6:56 PM

I know it's partially because I am at work and my brain is fried but I literally have tears coming out of my eyes from holding in laughter right now.

    ReplyDelete
  145. I don't think they'll win a single game this season.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Why are they saying that Ryback/Slow could get fired?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:57 PM

Mine is sepia-toned ladies showing a little leg.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Top TNA wrestlers: Aries, Roode, Low Ki, James Storm, and Lashley I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  149. He'd just book himself vs Ricky Steamboat 50 times.

    ReplyDelete
  150. And those women were arrested for lewd, pornographic secular behaviour.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Never played that. Waiting to see if they ever drop it on the Wii U shop. Probably won't though because they haven't put any 64 games on there.

    ReplyDelete
  152. When Lashley's in your top five....

    ReplyDelete
  153. Because HHH added a stip that if Team Cena loses on Sunday they all get fired...except for John Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 6:58 PM

200 years after they would have been burned at the stake!

    History is AWESOME!

    ReplyDelete
  155. They're saying everyone but Cena on his team could be fired. This angle is just stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  156. What and what!?

Get yourself an emulator or an original N64 console immediately.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Hey, you got nude pics bb?

    ReplyDelete
  158. Roode, Aries, Jeff Hardy, Angle, Edwards

    ReplyDelete
  159. Oh good God....
    CENA
    WINS
    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  160. Ambrose cuts a good promo. And his jacket is fantastic.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Walmart fires their employees if they try to stop em, so fuck em.

    ReplyDelete
  162. You know what's great about history? I, as a white man, would've been treated decently in almost any era.

    U-S-A! U-S-A!

    ReplyDelete
  163. I loled

    http://i.4cdn.org/co/1416603763784.png

    ReplyDelete
  164. Yes, I have topless photo. Vwould you like to see?

    ReplyDelete
  165. Can he even wrestle anymore, nevermind good?

    ReplyDelete
  166. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 7:01 PM

    How does this happen?

    ReplyDelete
  167. Yes, one with tits please!

    ReplyDelete
  168. i prefer reading those than most of his nba is great columns

    ReplyDelete
  169. If you have a 3ds, get if for that. It is significantly better looking and has the master quest.

    ReplyDelete
  170. He's returning in January. Had some fine matches with Roode earlier this year.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Stranger in the AlpsNovember 21, 2014 at 7:01 PM

I was not aware of this. It must be a safety/liability thing.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Does he still whore out his finishers?

    ReplyDelete
  173. YankeesHoganTripleHFanNovember 21, 2014 at 7:02 PM

You know that got me to thinking. Sort of sums up WWF/WCW/ECW from the late 90's.
    Austin-Fun Drunk
    Sandman-Angry Drunk
    Hall-Sad pathetic drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Most "big box" stores have that policy. And it's exactly what you think it is.

    ReplyDelete
  175. I like Angle when he doesn't whore out his finishers to add cheap, fabricated drama into it. I never understood why people thought a match was so great when it has no build and instead is just a bunch of finishers with no transitions. I

    ReplyDelete
  176. Replace Storm with Sanada.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Stick Sanada up your asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Stop being a cunt to the guy.

    ReplyDelete
  179. I don't have a problem with Angle's' psychology because the "finisher whoring" doesn't go on for entire matches or 10 minutes. You'll usually get the last 5-7 minutes of the match with finisher trading or guys kicking out of finishers with him, but how much different really is that from the WWE and TNA main event scene nowadays?

    ReplyDelete
  180. Ok!
