Not really. I'd say right on time, damn it!

  6. I like how Lucha Underground is presented, it feels like a television series.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I like wrestling to feel like a sporting event, not a television series.

At least no one will freak out and think you're missing.

Interesting day today, I ended up having a conversation with a few wrestling fans today, and let me tell you, they were the markest marks to ever mark the face of the mark.

  20. So...my sister told me she bought me tickets for something for Christmas and told me if I planned on buying tickets for anything, let her know in case I'm buying tix to the same event.

We live in the Bay Area and my bday is in late March.

    .....WrestleMania??

  21. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 13, 2014 at 5:41 PM

    The golden ticket.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Don't you do that almost every day?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:41 PM

I'd tell her to get me something else.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Pretty much all of my family who are wrestling friends are definitions of marks. That said, they probably get way more enjoyment out of the current product than I do.

    ReplyDelete
  25. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 13, 2014 at 5:42 PM

And what Jobber said was true.

    ReplyDelete
  26. 9 years ago Eddie Guerrero died, we sure are gonna miss him.

slimy as fuck when he was a heel, relatable as a babyface, Eddie Guerrero was a once in a century talent.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Or some shitty indy show piggybacking off of Wrestlemania.

    ReplyDelete
  28. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 13, 2014 at 5:43 PM

If his direct family keeps treating him the way they've been, he's planning on leaving forever.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I went to Judgment Day 2004 and had a good time despite being a shit event top to bottom. WrestleMania would get me excited no matter my apathy to WWE right now, cause it's WrestleMania (and it would be my second). I'd pretty much react like Michael Shannon getting his WM tix in Groundhog Day

    ReplyDelete
  30. How and when did you first find out pro wrestling was a work?
For me it was a slow-mo replay of Macho Man's elbow drop that got the ball rolling. I was probably eight or nine years old.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Wrestling's never been the same for me since Eddie passed.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yeah. Free room and board sucks ass.

    ReplyDelete
  34. SSW's not going to be able to afford to send ONE MATCH to San Francisco, much less a whole show.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Spanish Fly.

  36. State of Affairs...Jesus Christ enough

    ReplyDelete
  37. Seeing Undertaker on Regis and Kathie Lee.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:45 PM

Even if the current product wasn't shit I'd have trouble sitting through a 5 hour show. And I'd rather watch at home anyway where I can smoke and beers aren't $15.

    ReplyDelete
  39. As soon as I saw Heigel, I assumed the show was crap.

    ReplyDelete
  40. It'll be interesting to see what the ratings are considering how much goodwill Heigl pissed away since she hit the big time

When I first saw the ads I thought it was Maria Bello for some reason.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Who cares if she buys you the same. You can dump your tickets if you want afterwards.

Or if her tickets suck, dump hers and make some sweet $$$.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Enjoying your unoriginal ECW wrestling?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:47 PM

I kind of always knew, the guy that got me into it was a smark, before that term really existed.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Well I wasn't planning on buying them lest they got super cheap, so it won't come into play

    ReplyDelete
  50. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 13, 2014 at 5:47 PM

You know how you said a long time ago how one of the kids you saw liked Randy Orton because he slithers? A kid I talked to today said Roman Reigns was his favorite wrestler because he's strong.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I came close to buying a travel package but 5500 is kinda steep especially since I don't want the meet and greet and stuff or the free hotel room. I kinda want to go though...

    ReplyDelete
  52. Maybe the version with the soap opera frame rate

    ReplyDelete
  53. My Dad wrestled a bit on the Maple Leaf circuit as a young man. He smartened me up. I still didn't realize QUITE how rigged it was until I got online in the early 90s.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Will we have another sub .500 division champ in the NFC South?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I wished it was her. She's awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Unless Saints get hot.

    ReplyDelete
  57. ECW marks are not allowed here.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Me and a friend built a still once. We never really figured out the recipes though and wound up just distilling alcohol into more potent alcohol.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Oh yeah! It was my friends handicapped sister. I'll never forget that. Its Vince's target demo. Because he's strong?!?!? Brutal dude, put its always good to have your eyes opened. Its why I'll hide my wrestling fandom like it was herpes I had or something.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I could see the Panthers taking it with six wins.

    ReplyDelete
  61. If anything, I was trying to get tickets to RAW at least. I didn't really think I'd have a shot at WM tix now that they've really priced them up; my WM21 ticket was $100, mid level seating at Staples with VIP concessions

    ReplyDelete
  62. My wife is pregnant again.

The first trimester is the reign of terror. I may not make it through alive.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Saints have talent. I don't know what their problem is.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:51 PM

I would think I could just Google that shit. And it's not like the ATF will be looking for one around here.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Had a friend of the family working for the WWF, snuck out an advertising flyer for the Savage/Flair, Hogan/Sid Mania showing those matches maybe 3 months ahead of time when it still looked Flair/Hogan-ish build

    ReplyDelete
  66. They had to move their upcoming shows from the Civic Auditorium to some flea market.

    ReplyDelete
  67. You are NOT the father!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Because there's really good shows on network TV?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Being a Discover card user is rough. Sure the cash back rewards are great and the user interface for the online bill pay is awesome, but it just isn't accepted everywhere. Bit of a bummer. I keep my Visa run high and it's not readily available for large online purchases. I'm just trying to sign up for some Microsoft certs online. Be a pal, let me use Discover.

    ReplyDelete
  70. From my mom telling me every chance she got. I still don't know what her problem was/is. She just can't stand wrestling

    ReplyDelete
  71. It's a boy. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.

    ReplyDelete
  72. It's interesting how Heigel went from super hot young star to super bitchy cunt.

She's still attractive enough if she wants to be, instead, we get shots of her looking painfully serious with her arms crossed in that promo.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Yeah, this was pre Google that we did it.

I'm sure it'll be fine, just don't kill yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:53 PM

I once saw an episode where this hood rat was on for the second time, and none of them were the father either. So she's sleeping with 7 guys at once? What a skank. Though the guys celebrating was hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Congratulations. How many do you have?

    ReplyDelete
  76. If I had to go through the psychosis of it all and then that was the case, I would literally kill someone.

    ReplyDelete
  77. What channel does Lucha Underground come on? I said I'd try it but can't find it

    ReplyDelete
  78. There was a guy on 'Maury' today who had 15 kids and was being tested for a potential 16th.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:54 PM

He was kind of in the middle of being a smark and a mark, he knew about some non kayfabe things as well as stuff that they don't mention on TV.
He watched other promotions as well. It was just a weird how he was mostly a mark that I had to explain a few things to, yet he knew some backstage things also.
Of course the one thing that makes me smile was when I said that TNA was going to possibly go out of business, he got so pumped up and excited for that.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Bout to put on SurSer 06.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Same here. I think I had it on once and my parents were like this is fake and stupid you can't watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. This chick I met over the summer left a note on my door saying she was pregnant. She still hasn't shown me any evidence proving this so I'm just gonna roll with it. Haven't heard from her in a few months so maybe she was bluffing?! I'm really hoping so.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Shows that if my significant other told me she'd want us to be on, she would not be my significant other immediately after that sentence:

ANY daytime "trailer trash" show. (Springer, Maury, etc...)
    ANY reality show,

There are others, but those two are definitely "Goodbye" material.

    ReplyDelete
  85. ??? Never heard of that.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Card is subject to suck.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Did your mom also make sure you knew Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy weren't real? I think my parents just let me believe what I believed until I figured it out myself.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:56 PM

"No, you're going to stand here and listen to all the things I'd accept as payment than your fly-by-night credit card."

The 2 twins in that ad are pretty hot though.

    ReplyDelete
  89. "Slugger Giancarlo Stanton and the Miami Marlins are discussing a long-term contract in the $300 million range, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday."

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'd be OK with Maury, because if I wasn't the father, then I'd do a TD dance and get in her grill yelling "IN YOUR FACE!!!"

    ReplyDelete
  91. I figured Santa at five, when I found one of my presents in their closet. Wrestling didn't last much longer, but I was willing to play along much longer.

    ReplyDelete
  92. 2006? I believe that.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Are they going to play in a sandlot next year too?

    ReplyDelete
  94. I see Directv carries it. Don't think Charter does.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Yeah right. That's more than the whole team is worth.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:57 PM

    Mine is like that too.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I have an amex through my work and they also mail me shit begging me to get a personal amex too but only like 50% of places take it. So I don't really want another one.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:58 PM

Homer, your home made liquor is exploding again...

    ReplyDelete
  99. It's somewhere between 250 and 350 on DirecTV

    ReplyDelete
  100. Main event is Booker T vs. Batista. No buys.

    ReplyDelete
  101. That sucks to hear. My dad saw my fandom and encouraged it and would actually play along. Whenever we'd watch wrestling he'd go full Heenan and annoy the hell out of me rooting against the faces and that made me want to see them win more.

    ReplyDelete
  102. They'll almost own more money to the government than ECW did.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 5:58 PM

I always thought it was odd that they only have 15 numbers.

    ReplyDelete

  110. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 13, 2014 at 6:02 PM

What time does Lucha Underground start?

    ReplyDelete
  111. That's the funny thing...she's all about some Santa Claus. She won't get anyone a Christmas gift after they stop believing in Santa. That lady is crazy is what I'm trying to say.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:02 PM

Didn't anyone learn from the A-Roid and Pujols contracts?

Wait, Jeffrey Loria owns that team. Never mind.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Where can it be watched?

    ReplyDelete
  114. No one ever learns.

    ReplyDelete

    El Rey.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I have a Citibank platinum
The rewards are okay and I get a $4,000 limit.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Pretty excited for this card. Bunch of elimination matches and the company was in a really weird period where ECW was kinda still taken seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  118. It was on last night, I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  119. My dad was awesome. He'd mark out like he was our age. The first ppv we ever ordered was SurSer 88. Koko had the upper hand on Big Bossman and started celebrating. Then he got caught in the Bossman slam and my dad just lost it.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  122. WWECW was underrated.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Saw that Test is in one of the matches. Forgot they brought him back for a bit,

  124. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 13, 2014 at 6:04 PM

  126. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:04 PM

Most people I know stopped taking WWECE seriously after the Zombie.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I wish I could get excited about these Kim Kardashian pictures, but she's making the goofiest goddamn faces in the world. It's bad enough her personality is a boner-killer without her having to grin like she just inhaled half a tank of Joker Venom.

    ReplyDelete

  133. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 13, 2014 at 6:06 PM

    So, the first episode then.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I'm still watching it, I never got a chance to finish it off today. Right now I'm watching shawn vs Jericho, and its really good. I know I'm gonna pissed watching HHH go over Edge in the main event but hopefully the match will be good.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:06 PM

This pregame show sucks. I don't even want to know who the commentators are.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Totally agree. She looks kablammo on that new cop show she's on.

    ReplyDelete
  137. It was a great alternative, plus a great place where wrestlers were able to hone their crafts and find their niche and what works/what doesn't. What's wrong with that?

    ReplyDelete
  138. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:07 PM

The first fucking match, which lasted all of 20 seconds.

    ReplyDelete
  139. I think it was fine. Thought Edge should have gone over though.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Considering that we've already seen her in a full on porno it's hard to get too excited. But that ass pic was dece.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:07 PM

    The name.

    ReplyDelete
  142. I think I'm just gonna bet the bills on the money line. I wish I could tease NBA and NFL games together but I can't :(

    ReplyDelete
  143. Are you being sarcastic?

    ReplyDelete
  144. Yup, it was great.

    ReplyDelete
  145. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©November 13, 2014 at 6:08 PM

Can't believe I'm thinking of this now, but is it possible that the alien that was going to be on ECW was a dig at the term ECW mutant?

    ReplyDelete
  146. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:08 PM

After the Bills shit the bed last week I'd take Miami.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Oh god ECWWE sucked so bad. In theory you are right but that's not really what happened with that show.

    ReplyDelete
  148. That PPV, December to Dismember was one of the worst ever.

    ReplyDelete
  149. It sucked at first, but once they stopped making it a stupid ECW duplicate, it was a fun show.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:10 PM

From what I remember those were all insisted on by Sci-Fi, and them all getting totally squashed was Vince's "fuck you" to the network.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Yeah but I want the odds. I dunno I hate all AFC east teams really. I just like to bet dogs on the money line. If I could tease the over to 35 and the Bills to plus 10 with a decent pay out I would but I really need more thing to tease to get minus 110 odds and I can't combo NBA games with it anymore I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:10 PM

No. If they would have called it anything else there would not have been nearly as much backlash.

    ReplyDelete
  153. The worst ppv ever put out by WWE and I'd argue even by wcw or ecw.

    ReplyDelete
  154. The Dolphins post-Marino never win big but they never flat out suck either. They are stuck in the 6-8 win range every year.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:11 PM

I've never seen it, but I can't imagine it being worse than KOTR 95.

  156. So I finally have a closing date for this condo. Next Friday.
After Monday I am without internet for a week.

    ReplyDelete
  157. my shoes cost more than your house!

    ReplyDelete
  158. Yeah, although I just found it ridiculous that people bashed it just for its name. The whole idea of bringing back ECW was stupid to begin with.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:12 PM

Didn't you say the O/U is 41? Best bet would be the under, I'd say.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Yeah neither team will score 20 points

    ReplyDelete
  161. The Stranger Revolution continues?

    ReplyDelete
  162. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:13 PM

That last part I think we can all agree on. The first PPV was great just as a reunion show, but that should have been the end of it.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Adam "Colorado" CurryNovember 13, 2014 at 6:14 PM

    Especially on 3 days rest.

    ReplyDelete
  165. 2006 just seemed like a year where WWE tried reliving the 90s - DX, ECW, McMahons, Slap-stick humor....

    ReplyDelete
  166. KOTR 95 is way better dude. Its a baaaaaad show with really cheap production value. Its TNA level stuff

  176. HBK is the man. What a fucking story they just told. 2008 is great because of Shawn and Jericho.
