I think Neville and Zayn are both getting called up by the Rumble, let Zayn win the title and then let him be in the Rumble for being the NXT title holder. He can then drop it to Breeze or Corbin after the Rumble and stay on WWE.
Having watched Sami on NXT for awhile now, whoever told him he should keep on that Generico mask for so many years knows nothing at all about pro wrestling. His facial expressions throughout the matches are simply magnificent. Better than pretty much all of the main roster.
Little things like Gordon not having a moustache just bug me. I know he doesn't necessarily have to have always had one, but it's one tiny detail that could give this version a connection with the comic counterpart.
I wish fanboys would just calm down over Gotham. Yeah I agree that they are a bit heavy-handed with references but I have friends who watch who aren't fans that don't get the references straight away. Gotham should be trying to appeal to a wider audience and rightly so, since fans will still watch the show regardless of how much online bitching there is. So far I know of more people who watch Gotham than those who watch Arrow, Flash and Agents of SHIELD.
The little winks are a bit much, but honestly, if it were a better show, that wouldn't bother me as much. I made it through the first episode, but that's it.
The pacing of the story hasn't been great for most of the series so far but the last two episodes have done a lot to redeem it imo. Similar to the first series of Agents of SHIELD it took them awhile to get into a good groove so I hope they continue to produce episodes like 'Penguin's Umbrella' and 'The Mask'.
I believe there is a lot of truth to this. for example, when I saw TDK with friends for the first time I accidently spoilered them by wondering if Harvey Dent would become Two-Face in this movie or if they were gonna wait until the next (not realizing that they didn't know the civil name of Two-Face).
All I've got to say is the Punisher damn well better be in the Netflix Daredevil series.
ReplyDeleteJoss Whedon can kiss my ass.
Pretty, pretty close
ReplyDeleteYep.. they get it..
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping the Daredevil netflix series is successful because A) More Daredevil B) They'll make a Punisher Netflix series.

ReplyDeleteOther than the Waynes appearing in a normal hospital (I don't know anything about the comics, but it just seems odd), pretty spot on.
ReplyDeleteI understand teasing things, but they tried to cram SO many people in the pilot episode with just about as much subtlety as this trailer.
I really hope you're wrong. It's either that or Corbin just ends Adrian soon thereafter. I can't imagine Sami holds it that long anyway.
ReplyDeleteApparently he is and is already casted. He'll be played by the guy from Heroes that was the flying politician dude.
ReplyDeleteReally? He's already in Agents of Shield.
ReplyDeleteBut he's already playing General Talbot in Agents of Shield?

ReplyDeleteHe's already been screwed out of it though.
ReplyDeleteHe should win it, end the year in NXT on a high, then lose it at the special after

ReplyDeleteMaybe they'll do an episode where it explains why Gordon finally grew a moustache?
ReplyDelete"I could have saved him him if only I had a moustache! I vow from this day forward to grow out my tache and never shave it off until the day I die"
Ah, I don't watch SHIELD, so wouldn't know. Maybe that casting was just a rumour, then.

ReplyDeleteYou don't make it through the first episode, you SURVIVE it.
ReplyDeleteBit of fantasy booking a perfect scenario would be zayn winning and after the match out comes kevin Owens (steen) destroys zayn...there's a new fued
ReplyDeleteThis. As much as I liked El Generico, it was a travesty that the mask hid his superb facial expressions.
ReplyDeleteTGGI.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that Kalisto didn't break his neck on that corkscrew dive.
ReplyDeleteIs Balor wearing paint, or has that side of him been completely thrown out? Not had a chance to catch any NXT in the last few weeks.

ReplyDeleteI didn't see any.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't need bodypaint.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying he does - but you can't deny it was a cool visual, surely?
