Alberto Del Rio Update

TNA has reportedly offered a one year $400,000 deal to Del Rio. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the impression that he gets is that TNA will either have to up the money offer or drop asking for exclusivity. It is also reported that the El Rey Network (Home of Lucha Underground) has offered Del Rio a large amount of guaranteed money and the expectation is that he is going there.

  1. Greeny from Mike and Mike just said "Michael Buble is alright but he's no Pitbull." Jesus, I hope he was being sarcastic.

    ReplyDelete
  2. ....Taker makes a million a year? Now? Still? ......TNA is offering a wwe mid carder 400,000 a year? Now? Still?

    ReplyDelete
  3. There's the TNA we know and love! Young wrestlers and TNA originals working cheque to cheque while WWE rejects get paid six figures.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I just had to look up Uhaa Nation, and saw this on his Wiki page:

"Uhaa Combination (Gorilla press drop followed by a standing moonsault followed by a standing shooting star press)"

Where can I send him my routing number and bank account number so I can give him all of my money now?

    ReplyDelete
  5. There are some cool compilation videos of him on YouTube

    ReplyDelete
  6. 3k! Did the KKK make terrorist threats if you used their name? You wusses!

    ReplyDelete
  7. It was a tough night... they showed up and issued threats and that is all I can say.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'd think it's difficult to fly a 737/747 into someone's house/office.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Nothin' like a good old fashioned convoluted indy finisher.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hope Del Rio stays in Lucha Underground and ROH, plenty of cool matches there.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Maybe they don't like krusty kinda khristmas

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh my my, oh hell yeah, Tom Petty up in this. MJ's Last Dance is a great song.

    ReplyDelete
  13. So tomorrow will be the first of 100 days of round two of voting in the 90s tourney?

  14. Sexy Flexy Biff KensingtonDecember 18, 2014 at 7:17 AM

$1 Million a year for one match a year? Fuck, I'd say it's worth the beating.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yeah last year year he did like 4 moves.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Should move quicker, less polls and we will probably stack more. We went a while with only having one a day as it got going.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Sexy Flexy Biff KensingtonDecember 18, 2014 at 7:18 AM

    Mike Greenberg: Trollin'.

    ReplyDelete
  18. And got a concussion too

    ReplyDelete
  19. You mean "impressive sequence to get you noticed, and fill comp videos of you on youtube"

I mean, your point still stands, but it looks cool.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Probably will start next week... have to compile results and then set up all the polls and what not.

Also want to give a few days for votes to come in the most recent polls.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Rewatching some Undertaker feuds from 92-95 ... after what Vince put him through he owes him a $1 million for life.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Is taker fighting Wyatt to get revenge on him for making his half-brother a corporate stooge who won't go away?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Should be wrapped up by 2020.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm bummed PBTN went with "Group 3K," depriving us of KKK jokes.

Sponge ruled, so did "Plowed." The UnPlugged version of "Layla" is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I just can't handle it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. You should do an '80s tournament next

    ReplyDelete
  26. We have a few ideas in the hopper. That is one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  27. "Come On Eileen" or GTFO.

    ReplyDelete
  28. You mean that feud with Giant Gonzalez wasn't a "main event in any arena"?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh come on, you can't stand one of the greatest guitar riffs of all times turned into a folksy bluesy jam?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Jesus. $1 mil a year to sit at home? Really? I know he's done a lot, but he's presumably been paid for his work during that time. Wow. I really don't need to see Bray fight him. The promos should be great, and the match might even be solid to good, but the bloom is off the rose. He did the job at WM, and he no longer wrestles any other time.

    Rest. In. Peace.

Is it just me, or is an Undertaker match at WrestleMania XXXI the most worthless idea ever?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Speaking as an acoustic guy who loves that album, suck it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't think that move is convoluted as much as unnecessarily (but still awesomely) flashy. He already has the guy temporarily incapacitated with the press slam, so it doesn't take some huge, stupid setup that kills my suspension of disbelief to follow it up immediately with the SSP and moonsault.

    ReplyDelete
  34. He's on the mat. Just stomp him twice right in the neck and pin him. Flying around like that you big nancy.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm usually team electric (boogie woogie woogie) but if acoustic is done right it sounds great.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'd say that's a bit harsh, but I have no desire to see him wrestle anymore.

I mean, most worthless idea ever? WM 9 and the Gobbledeegooker say hello. So does a guitar that tunes itself.

Seriously. Learning to tune the guitar is a fairly important step. Fuck you, Gibson.

    ReplyDelete
  37. That's one way to do it. Another way would be to do a standing moonsault and a standing shooting star press in the span of about six seconds, because you fucking can.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That money probably also goes towards arranging Wrestlers Courts. There's probably a lot of admin involved. And he needs to keep his hand outstretched at all times for handshaking. That probably takes a toll.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Well then, I hate you.

Well, no, not really. You're entitled to your opinion and tastes. Even if they are horribly, horribly wrong.

    ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Oh man, the slow, boring version of a song played with only one instrument? Sign me right the fuck up.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Smash your acoustic guitar over his head, Hoss!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm not against it, but I don't really see the point.

No streak increases the drama of who will win, but it decreases the importance of the match by like 1000%.

    ReplyDelete
  43. The idea of holding a WM9 event is worthless? What was worthless about the Gobbledeegooker? It was dumb, sure, but they weren't trying to make money off of it. They were just on a lot of drugs.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Apparently I missed a really good Grizzlies/Spurs game. Too bad the wrong team won.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well sometimes they play bongos instead of drums. I used to have a hard time falling asleep so I just made a playlist of basically every acoustic rock song ever to help, so I have an appreciation for them.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Bray really needs that loss to Taker at Mania to elevate him.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Indeed you did. Amazing game wit h2 ridiculous shots to force various OTs.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The one hit wonders alone would take as long as this tournament

    ReplyDelete
  49. 3K bracket? Why didn't you just write it... ohhhh, nevermind.

    ReplyDelete
  50. That's why I said in Khali discussions why he should just keep wrestling. As long as he has a reduced schedule, and his pay day is like $500k a year, it's still worth it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. The promos should be long winded and progressively loose steam (Just like everything Bray does).

    FTFY

    ReplyDelete
  52. Um. No. I do not approve of guitar abuse.

However, either of the carbon fiber guitars I have probably wouldn't break, which might be interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I don't have Sirius so all I have is local sports talk radio. I assure you he's being serious. He ;loves him some Pitbull. Also, Michael Buble sucks and his Christmas music is atrocious. "Santa Pally"? Just awful.

    ReplyDelete
  54. So they aren't going with Sting vs Undertaker and add some b

    ReplyDelete
  55. unless he was hurt last year and healthy now, i don't need to see him again. He looked like he had just been through several rounds of chemo

    ReplyDelete
  56. There's an intimacy and level of skill I love when one guy with an acoustic guitar can make it work. It honestly touches my soul, and sometimes moves me to tears. It wasn't always so, of course. It's just where I am now.

i also enjoy Rush, Maiden, and plenty of classic rock. All depends on my mood.

    ReplyDelete
  57. They've been saying Sting vs HHH since they set up Sting vs HHH.

    ReplyDelete
  58. He should be honored. According to Triple H, it's the main event!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Nice. What kinds? I've got a Strat and Epiphone.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I've long been of the opinion that if a song cannot be done well acoustically, it's not a song.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Want to turn Bobby into a hopeless drug addict? Meanie.

Oh wait, he's a Cowboys fan. Swing away.

    ReplyDelete
  62. That's a fair assessment. If effects are the only thing holding you afloat...

    ReplyDelete
  63. Bray vs Taker being set up with no plans being announced for Dean has to mean that Bray goes over in this feud, right? I know it;s crazy to think Bray would ever win a feud, but he has to get some wins to look strong for Taker right? I guess it doesn't matter. None of it matters.

    ReplyDelete
  64. there were better songs on the Album than Layla. I love acoustic blues, great album

    ReplyDelete
  65. CA Guitars are the two acoustic carbon fiber instruments; both were before Peavey bought/bailed out that company. I have a dreadnought and an OM. I also have an acoustic a guy in Madison made for me, a Reuter Resonator, a Taylor electric (walnut body, Gibson type shape, P90s), and a Silvertone Hollowbody that just sounds fucking brilliant for slide.

I also have a Fender Newporter acoustic and an Ashland acoustic that sit in my closet; they have been replaced, but I can't quite bring myself to get rid of them.

    ReplyDelete
  66. The only way Sting vs. Undertaker makes sense is if Teddy Long came out and told Sting "at WrestleMania you'll be facin'.... Tha Undataker, playa!"

    ReplyDelete
  67. To think....they could've had Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania XXX -- they were destined together since Bray destroyed Kane at Summerslam 2013. Bray could've had the same experience he got with Cena (maybe even better), the Undertaker could've kept the streak intact, and we could set up The Undertaker vs. Sting at WrestleMania XXXI.
Instead...Streak's over and now Bray's getting his shot after the Streak was ended by a guy who's going to be done with the company for good after WrestleMania XXXI.
    Dumb dumb dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  68. TNA being stupid again. Del Rio hasn't drawn a dime, certainly not four million of them.

    ReplyDelete
  69. HOLLA, HOLLA, HOLLA, HOLLA, HOLLA, HOLLA, HOLLA, HOLLA, HOLLA

    ReplyDelete
  70. Unless you are Ben Richards in King's Running Man novel

    ReplyDelete
  71. Must be why they are only offering him 400 thousand.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Dimes, danimal! Dimes!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Four million dimes = 400,000 dollars.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yep. For example, Modern Day Cowboy by Tesla was reworked nicely into an acoustic song on 10 Man Acoustical Jam.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Sorry. I'm drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  76. that's really enough, They're both wrestlers. It's a wrestling show. They'll wrestle. That's all the story I really need, if I like both the guys. In this case, I don't - but I mean in general I'm okay with it

    ReplyDelete
  77. LOL Dude! I'm at work, stifling a giggle! Knock it off!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle couldn't draw dimes for TNA. TNA is like a black hole that sucks all of your drawing power away.

I'd bet Hogan and Sting have sold more merch and gotten paid more in the year or so they've been in the WWE family than they did in their entire TNA runs.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I think TNA always offered both those guys more than WWE was willing to pay them. Hogan probably took half their operating budget.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Oh damn that's quite a collection. I bought a $125 electric guitar from Wal Mart that I've been working on just to see how much I can do by myself. Basically just changing string and pickups and basic wiring. I've never taken any classes or done it before. Just a little hobby. There's a GREAT little music shop in the Pocono's in PA that has some awesome 2nd hand and rebuilt guitars.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Nobody will draw shit for TNA. TNA has to make itself a draw with its own identity. Like they've come so frustratingly close go doing in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  82. The Gobbledeedooker was a dumb idea, but at least it was AN IDEA. 'Wrestling zombie' looks pretty dumb on the page too, but here we are 20 years later. The lack of willingness to give outré ideas a go is part of the current problem.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hogan and Sting were paid by Spike, not by TNA.

    ReplyDelete
  84. They really need something to happen with sting again soon, or people are going to forget about it. an interview, have him point a bat, something....

    ReplyDelete
  85. Ahh okay. Good old Spike. Hope TNA remembers that Spike won't be paying Del Rio.

    ReplyDelete
  86. How much is that in clams?

    ReplyDelete
  87. Have to wait another week at least for all the absentee and overseas ballots to come in.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Nice. I'm mechanically reclined when it comes to fixing shit. I pay people to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  89. How much easier is it to learn to play the ukulele than a guitar? I assume the fewer strings, the easier it is right?

    I kinda want one,

    ReplyDelete
  90. Plus there's going to be a legal battle over allegations made by several users that all votes for Megadeth were actually counted as Hootie & The Blowfish votes.

    ReplyDelete
  91. No idea. I've never tried to play a ukulele.

    ReplyDelete
  92. At this point the only reason Sting appeared was because the Network was free and they had to do SOMETHING. The old bait and switch. Sad stuff. Spacing it out so far and calling him "The Vigilante" has already ruined the whole thing in my opinion. Last time I found Sting interesting he left everyone at WarGames for not trusting him.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Agreed. I love Waking Blues, though it's a note for note lift from a Muddy Waters song.

    ReplyDelete
  94. And how many clams are in a simoleon?

    ReplyDelete
  95. Oh i agree. Nothing like listening to some acoustic blues on a Sunday morning, drinking coffee and just kicking back

    ReplyDelete
  96. "All storylines plans for Mysterio have been called off. At one point the Creative Team was told to work on a story for him that would lead to a WrestleMania match but that is no longer the case because Rey tore both patellas while listening to the ideas on the phone."

    ReplyDelete
  97. You don't think Bray going over would help him?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Still think they should team up Taker & Sting Vs Wyatt family - kills so many birds with one stone

    ReplyDelete
  99. 400k for Del Rio?

    #LOLTNA

    ReplyDelete
  100. I'll cheers to this. But is it a new Wyatt Family or Harper and Rowen?

    ReplyDelete
  101. New Wyatt family - I'm thinking Wyatt and the Ascension if rumours are true

    ReplyDelete
  102. I LOVE the original version and I enjoy acoustic music quite a lot (Stevie Ray Vaughan's UnPlugged was everything great), but it just screams "uncool avuncular music" to me, like if Phil Collins did an UnPlugged album.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I pay people for my main guitars. I'd be damned if I'm gonna screw those up.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I'm a Bray mark, and I say this will complete sincerity.

    Fuck you.

    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  105. LOL Well, they need semi-regular maintenance.

    ReplyDelete
  106. How many bees is that?

    ReplyDelete
  107. The terrorists win.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Uke is fairly easy because most songs written for it use no more than four chords. And the chords are mostly the same for every song.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Are you denying that Hootie had 100% of votes in all polls???

    ReplyDelete
  110. Dashboard Confessional: Unplugged...yes I know this exists.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Can't wait to watch NXT tonight. First time I've avoided spoilers in a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Now see that could be fun. It would most likely hide Taker and Sting's lack of workrate, they could do a bunch of silly storyline tricks, and it gives the Wyatt's a major match at WM. Pretty perfect. Too bad they broke them up for no reason.

    ReplyDelete
  113. So it's like any Green Day song?

    ReplyDelete
  114. What's your gear like?

    ReplyDelete
  115. your hair is

    EVERYWHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I still think that having Taker lose to Lesnar was WWE dumbest move in a very, very, very long time.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Where the fuck did TNA get 400,000? Did they rob a bank or something?

    ReplyDelete
  118. There's a Guitar Center 5 minutes from my house that always does repairs for pretty cheap. I regularly go in so they're pretty good with my stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Several high profile BoD users have spoken to me IN
CONFIDENCE that they suspect an insidious Adult Oriented Rock based conspiracy
    afoot.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Believe it or not, you get paid when a network airs your show. Who would've thunk it?!

    ReplyDelete
  121. TNA would be better off investing that money in the top independent talent. It would be smarter too.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Delta miles on an expired Visa bronze card doesn't count as money.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I will defer to my lawyer from here on out.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Where are you? It's 9 AM Central Time in America, but you're already hammered?!

    ReplyDelete
  125. Yeah, if they really wanted to mimic WWE, buy up the indies, definitely. Grab 'em before WWE gets them. Do some scouting all over the country instead of on the couch watching USA on Mondays.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I disagree. Winning was fine. Destroying Cena was fine. Being champ was fine. My only problem is that they had no idea where to go from there. So much like the third Matrix movie, ruining the first two, we have a year of nothing, making both decisions pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Bollocks to that. Hire Del Rio, and then
wait for the WWE Cuts in May and spend the rest of the DAmerica money on Adam
    Rose, Xavier Woods and Layla.

    ReplyDelete
  128. The fat redneck homeless man whose promos sound like something an emo high school kid would write is a fairly unique character, I will give him that.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Sexy Flexy Biff KensingtonDecember 18, 2014 at 8:07 AM

The plan was fine; it was the execution that lacked forethought. They built up Lesnar as the world-ending champion... then remembered it would cost a lot to have him on more than one show between September and January (!), so it all fell flat.

    ReplyDelete
  130. And if they spend it like this, they'll remain exactly as terrible as they've always been.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Exactly. Stop trying to be like the WWE and put on a more wrestling-based product. Offer fans and alternative to the WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  136. MikeyMike, JuggernautDecember 18, 2014 at 8:11 AM

Undertaker looks like hell. I guess a Bray match is harmless though.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Join the (band) Presidents of the USA. Their two 'guitarists' play instruments that have five strings between them.

    ReplyDelete
  138. It is but after last year I cant imagine Taker being able to holdup for a long match like that. Then again, Wyatt is a much lighter worker than Lesnar

    ReplyDelete
  139. I bet he gets the cutest chick crowd. or maybe they're all getting on a bit now.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Just have Bray's ghost scare Taker. He has a higher percentage of having a heart attack from paranormal activity at his age, so it makes sense.

    Sister Abigail for the win.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Don't have the link but search on YouTube for 'Sleep' by Savatage. Awesome band, great acoustic song.

    ReplyDelete
  142. MikeyMike, JuggernautDecember 18, 2014 at 8:14 AM

He has the appearance of a 70 year old man, so yes, I agree.

    ReplyDelete
  143. MikeyMike, JuggernautDecember 18, 2014 at 8:16 AM

I didn't like many of the songs from today. Only voted for like three each time.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I would definitely put the music as the #2 thing at his shows, no disrespect to Mr. Carrabba.

    ReplyDelete
  145. My favorite time of the week is when Bayless posts news about Mysterio so I can get my injury joke in.

Thanks for always working with your audience, Brian!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Because of the whole Sony pulling out The Interview, the Alamo Drafthouse here in town are gonna show Team America instead. Eat that, North Korea!

    ReplyDelete
  147. You gotta keep them coming back

    ReplyDelete
  148. LOL I actually bought one of their albums in high school. Didn't buy any more.

    ReplyDelete
  149. One of my favorite lines from Tom Delonge was something along the lines of "well I learned how to play a chord and then 2 more and then we made 4 albums off them"

    ReplyDelete
  150. I f'ing hate guitar center and avoid it whenever possible. Of course, I'm extremely fussy. The only repair guy I trust lives and works outside the Phoenix, AZ area.

    ReplyDelete
  151. For 3K I voted:

    Plowed
    3 AM
    Santa Monica
    Celebrity Skin
    Interstate Love Song

    For LLL:

    Mary Jane's Last Dance
    I'll Be
    Layla
    Song 2
    Everybody

I didnt like the songs at all in this bracket.

And Plowed being dead last is a travesty.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I find that to be rather dismissive, but as I said earlier, everyone is entitled to their own tastes. Frankly, I think he'd be better off working territories for a couple of years, and then...

    ...oh, yeah.

    ReplyDelete
  153. They have a ton of buzz off of the special so lets hope they keep it going.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Dixie's getting her X-mas present early from Daddy Carter.

    ReplyDelete
  155. They're so hit and miss. Same with Sam Ash. I solely deal with the repair techs because some/most of the staff are just intolerable self important douche nozzles.

    ReplyDelete
  156. The setting and theme for WM9 were horrid, not to mention most of the matches, and the conclusion of the main event.

Christ. That damn thing drove me away for a few years.

    ReplyDelete
  157. "It's a New Day in TNA!"

    ReplyDelete
  158. So Taker and Sting will both be wrestling at Wrestlemania 31, but in separate matches and not against one another. *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  159. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 18, 2014 at 8:25 AM

I thought 3K was pretty tough.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I liked that bracket.

LLL was tough for me as I only really liked Last Dance with Mary Jane

    ReplyDelete
  161. The only Taker match that serves a purpose is vs. Sting. That's the only match that transcends the Streak and will still draw and excite fans regardless of last year's travesty with Brock.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Mine is now the day after a PPV so I can get all my Dean Ambrose jokes in!

I'm predicting something with vampires after the Royal Rumble...

    ReplyDelete
  163. So... Rey vs Undertaker at WM in a Career Match?

    ReplyDelete
  164. I loved that album as a kid. Sixteen Candles was a good song too.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Those guys are good live too.

    ReplyDelete
  166. We started a rebooking piece that is going to go up alongside this thing with a group of us hashing out how it should have gone.

    ReplyDelete
  167. They both get concussions during the intro and spend 45 minutes just falling asleep in the ring, drooling.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Rey was actually undefeated as well up til his loss to Cody a few years ago which ultimately did nothing for him. They should have just used Rey in place of one of the HHH matches.

    ReplyDelete
  169. I wish Undertaker would hang it up. He doesn't look good.

  171. Man. I work in a cubicle farm, and people are losing their damn minds with xmas decorations.

I don't decorate my cubicle. At all. The most I've ever done is put up a card my wife gave me.

I feel like I'm working in a damn Hallmark store.

  172. I am really interested to see how the first round played out. I tried to vote objectively as possible, not just picking songs I liked the best but by popularity, longevity, as well as quality.

  173. I suffered through a Dashboard set at the Bamboozle in 2011 because I was trying to get a girl. It sucked on two fronts: I had to see Dashboard Confessional and I did not get the girl.

  174. Get in the xmas spirit, hoss!

It's good for the f'in economy or something.

Lanny Poffo and Honky Tonk Man verbally blowing each other is making me strangely uncomfortable. And a little aroused. I think I'm drunk and I need to go home.

  176. I'm sure it's not the first time Lanny has blown somebody.

  177. I was at that exact Bamboozle haha sorry about your miss. We're you waiting for Lil Wayne or just the poon?

  178. I hate when one team beats another, ESPN always tries to spin a discussion to was it good team A or bad team B? They did it when the Grizz beatt the Warriors in a 7-point game and they're doing it now after a 1-point triple overtime game now. Come on now, this is ridiculous.

  179. Does Undertaker do anything other than WerstleMania (appearances or anything)? $1 Million for an appearance at Wrestlemania in the Network era seems crazy, but maybe it's not.

  180. Unfortunately for TNA, WWE already offers the best "alternative to the WWE" there is.

  181. Their second album, "Wax Ecstatic," is an underrated gem.

  182. Rumors swirling around that the Celts are trading Rondo to the Mavericks for Branden Wright and draft picks.

  183. Outside of live events and 30 for 30, ESPN is mostly unwatchable to me. I really feel like they should change their name to TMZSPN, b/c that's what all their stories are any more.

  184. Cold December Night is a masterpiece and the best Xmas song ever. Buble 4 life.

  185. True. But if I am TNA, I am getting all of the best "X Division" guys and signing the power guys and bigger wrestlers on the indies and throwing them out there and see what sticks.

  188. I don't. Because it fucking shocked the hell out of me and my friends and was a legit, remember-where-I-was moment. If wrestling can't make me occasionally feel like that, I'll stop watching. If I was sitting around watching wrestling and wondering "BUT IS THIS THE RIGHT BOOKING DECISION?!?!" I'd punch myself right in the dick and make myself go outside and be a human being for awhile.

If you're going to rebuild, go all the way I guess. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how horrid the Hornets have played this year. Seppuku as a sports fan is insight.
