  3. So one of my best friends, who works in PlayStation QA, put out this photo from the holiday party, which is a dessert in the shape of Sweet Tooth's ice cream truck. Apparently, everyone didn't want to eat it cause it looked too awesome:

I don't care if Monday's blue, Tuesday's great and Wednesday, too. Thursday I don't care about you. It's Friday, I'm in love.

Not to be a c-c-c-c-combo breaker, but I can't ever hear or read the word shrimpin' without being reminded of the sexual connotation.

  11. Fuch the neighbors beside me, they're playing music extremely loud. Looks like I won't sleep tonight.

  12. It has a sexual meaning? Like pecan sandies?

You could be a real man and go over and confront them. Do eet!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Confront 50 people, my name is not Brock Lesnar to do that.

    ReplyDelete
  15. HOMR is making me laugh.

Go over naked with mascara on, and tell them you're ready to party like it's 1999. That'll clear 'em out, and make for lovely conversation starters later on.

    ReplyDelete
  17. So I made it through 16 weeks of PhD work (50+ books read this semester) and now I'm on break for 27 days and its day 2 and I'm already completely bored out of my mind.

  18. Sexy Flexy Biff KensingtonDecember 19, 2014 at 5:42 PM

Damn, dude. I've been trying to slog through graduate school being sick, and I'm procrastinating on some reading for the last two weeks.

  20. You better shut up and enjoy that shit right now. I feel like Billy Madison telling that kid to enjoy elementary school as much as he can right now.

It involves semen, an anus, and a straw. I'll let you fill in the blanks.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well, I always have this tendency either teaching or doing academic work. You get totally stressed for 36 or so weeks and then get 3 months off and immediately it's just like "Well what in the world do I do now?" Unfortunately, they don't pay me enough to go golfing and it's like 20 degrees in KY right now, so no golf here anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Get back on the horse and review some damn wrestling!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'll never understand people who just *need* to work all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  25. NDSU Bison football! And going to watch Bret vs Taker at One Night Only

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yeah, I'll get lots of reviews cranked out for posting in subsequent months. I did post this week after missing last week due to work, but it was quickly subsumed by 4-5 other posts. I've talked of posting more than 1 review a week, but most people said they liked just the 1.

    ReplyDelete
  27. That match would be so much better if it had a conclusive finish. I think its the best match between the two, though (especially in comparison with the borefest that is Rumble 1996. How Scott gave that **1/2 baffles me).

    ReplyDelete
  28. This. There is no reason why someone like zack Ryder shouldn't be in NXT. They just sent Curtis Axel there which I think is a good move for him. Midcarders who are spinning there wheels with no direction, go down and learn how to work longer matches in front of a smaller crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  29. JR did an interview with biglead.com. One thing he said was that the WWE bought a plane and a pilot to live with Lesnar during his first run. WHAT????? The WWE seems to treat Brock like their shitty 16 year old that won't get his sh*t together. Not saying that's what Brock is but that's how they treat him.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well my workload consists of TA'ing, taking 9 hours of PhD classes, I coach two speech & debate programs, I run a debate website, I tutor AP history kids, and I run a fantasy golf league starting in January. Plus, I review shows for this blog as a hobby. Yeah, I'm a workaholic.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I kinda have the feeling, three months at home until college returns.

  37. Going to a house show tomorrow night in Sioux Falls. Ziggler vs Cesaro w/ Flair as the referee and Reigns vs Kane advertised

  40. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 5:55 PM

Had a great voicemail message from a crazy man annoyed with my newspaper for printing an advertisement (a paid ad) for a roofer who he claims robbed his grandmother of $100,000. He yelled about going to tell the newspapers about it (all of whom, he claimed, ran the ad) and talking to lawyers.

He ended the voicemail yelling, "Merry Christmas! Meeerry Christmas! Good luck with the job, buddy!"

We laughed so hard. We used that as the end of the last TribCast for 2014. Which, of course, you can listen to here:

  41. It's pretty ridiculous. I've earned two M.A.'s and it just eats you up. It's more like trying to survive mental basic training.

    ReplyDelete
  42. just "history"? Not American, Spanish for 17th Century England.....just history

    ReplyDelete
  43. Another fellow historian.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well, I prefer 19th and 20th century American political. However, I also have an interest in World War I-World War II Europe (especially the history of fascism) and science/tech stuff like the American space program. I'm also a fan of the "history of sports" genre. If my program would let me, I'd just do my dissertation on the history of the WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm not much of a researcher so I know I would never make it. If it were something wrestling or sports related then I'd have a fighting chance. Anything else? not a chance. Congratulations to you. You have my respect if that means anything to you

    ReplyDelete
  46. Cesaro-Flair sounds fun. Reigns-Kane sounds blah. Kentucky always gets the Cena shows because there are a lack of smart fans here.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I think I'm the only one who has interest for Vietnam's war.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thanks. I enjoy parts of the research, but prefer the teaching more than anything. So I endure the research element, but I don't want to one day work at Harvard or Yale or anything like that.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I studied genocides in college and I found it quite interesting. The history of WWE is intriguing too, specifically, where did Vince get the money to buy WWF and then put everyone out of business? With that being said, I think NWA history is probably more interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  50. There's lots of people in my program that do diplomatic history and love that field. I just don't have an undying love for studying the war, although I've had to read a lot about it for my different courses.

    ReplyDelete
  51. You aspiring to be a college professor?

    ReplyDelete
  52. "A performance artist, that's what I thought. You know, the kind of guy who pisses into a cup on stage and then drinks it."

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think one of the challenges of something like that is your source base. It'd be hard to find all the sources to put it together aside from oral interviews. If one were to do a big history of Memphis, Jim Cornette would be a treasure trove of info, though, because he kept all those programs from it and the St. Louis territory.

    ReplyDelete
  54. My monography is gonna be about the movies depicting Vietnam or about Hayden White's theory.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yeah, I'd prefer to teach at that level. I didn't mind teaching high school except for bureaucratic stuff that gets in the way.

    ReplyDelete
  56. This is really awesome

    http://deadspin.com/grizzlies-buy-car-for-assistant-who-had-his-stolen-1673351047

    ReplyDelete
  57. That's true. Plus everyone is a liar so your research would probably just be a dead end.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Pretty much. I mean good luck trying to get WWE to give you the exact numbers of how many people went to WM 3.

    ReplyDelete
  59. My right leg is swollen and I can barely walk. No idea what is going on here

  60. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 6:07 PM

CM Punk give you a staph infection?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Is anyone annoyed enough at CM Punk to buy the fight and watch him get beat up? How is it that everyone is doing WWE better than the WWE?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Man, the DCAU is so good. If only their movies could equal their quality.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Punk is gonna take a hell of a beatdown.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I wouldn't say annoyed as much as intrigued.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Best depiction of Batman ever, even better than the comic books.

    ReplyDelete
  66. It's all a plan for him to fuck Ronda, Miesha and the ring girls.

    ReplyDelete
  67. What would you rate their Summerslam match?

    ReplyDelete
  68. His act is turning me off for whatever reason. I just wish he went away. I'm probably in the minority though

    ReplyDelete
  69. Dr Amman misdiagnosed me

    ReplyDelete
  70. Well, I haven't followed all things Punk, just the podcast (I tend to not follow popular culture anyway). I think this UFC venture is pretty stupid, but hey, if the guy is going to make some money and enjoys himself, what the hell.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Late 1997 Taker is so fun, just trying to kill Shawn at every turn.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'm not sure of a rating off the top of my head, but its better than the rumble one.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Shawn trying to break into the IYH set at Ground Zero is one of the funniest moments in the history of wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 6:14 PM

Ryback and Jericho defending Ryback from Punk's comments about him.

"I went and heard part of it. Punk was always good to me when he was here and I felt I was good to him. He was never like that to my face and I felt we always had good matches for the most part on the live events. To leave and say the things he said, I try not to take anything personal anymore. So whatever he's going through, if he feels the need to say that, I can tell you it's not true."

    ReplyDelete
  75. It's weird. He was so dull with the belt then immediately after he lost it he caught fire.

  78. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 6:16 PM

Was at that SummerSlam live. Lots of fun.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I think it's just Punk trying to work everyone. It's really getting on my nerves.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 6:16 PM

    Posted the link below.

    ReplyDelete
  81. They really made Taker a monster in that feud. So when Kane debuted at Bad Blodd, making Taker shit on his pants, he was automatically over.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Well, when he had the belt he had some pretty dull feuds. Austin-Bret was clearly the biggest feud in the company and the Undertaker was stuck with Mankind (who he beat in their feud by November of 1996), Vader (who was booked strangely the first 6 months of 1997), and Faarooq (who was going nowhere). IF Ahmed Johnson had not gotten injured, he may have had something fascinating, but that was it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. It sounds too eloquent and professional to be from him.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Yeah, Kane's debut is one of the best ever. I hope he sends Jim Cornette a nice Christmas gift every year (since Cornette came up with that finish). Vince got the commentary call pretty good there too.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I refuse to believe anything from someone named "The Big Hungry."

    ReplyDelete
  86. That's... That's gotta be Kane!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Going back and watching the shows he seemed like a complete afterthought to the Austin/Bret/HBK sideshow. Even the Cold Day in Hell title match was more about Austin and Bret.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 6:19 PM

Right, I forgot he's not playing a character when he's on television.

    ReplyDelete
  89. That match is kinda like a Friday the 13th chase scene. You got the monster (Taker), the victim (HBK). The victim tries to attack the monster, doesn't work, tries to run away, doesn't work again. The only way to stop him was if another monster came, that's what happens.

    ReplyDelete
  90. The only good thing was the subtle build to the Kane reveal. Paul Bearer's promos about sleeping the Undertaker's mother and the Undertaker being a bad child were hilarious and very underrated. That said, they didn't really do anything for his feuds.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Oh fuck off. You know what I mean.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Paul Bearer was gold. When he called UT's mother a whore and UT ran a 4.3 to the ring to kill him was awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I think I pegged that at ***1/2 or something like that. It drags a little in the middle, but I always enjoy the finish.

    ReplyDelete
  94. It plants the seeds for DX.

    ReplyDelete
  95. That whole angle/feud showed why it's good to have entertaining managers. Unfortunately, Russo screwed up the whole Kane-Undertaker thing by the fall of 1998 and it just got really weird and confusing.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Other than 92 I've never cared much about the Rumble from beginning to end. What do you think is the best way to book a Rumble? Always have the favorites enter early to keep the intrigue?

    ReplyDelete
  97. What are some matches you can watch any time? No matter how many times you've seen them.....I have four: Austin vs. Hart Survivor Series and Wrestlemania, HBK vs Diesel Good Friends Better Enemies, and Sting vs DDP Nitro 1999 (a little biased there because I was ringside but that easily is WCW's last brush of greatness and if I'm not mistaken the last time they won a quarter hour segment)

    ReplyDelete
  98. I think it went off the rails with the whole "are they in cahoots" bit. It just dragged and never had an actual resolution. They then did a double-turn that made absolutely zero sense.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 19, 2014 at 6:24 PM

Damn, dude. That is known to be associated with the kidneys a lot of the time.

    ReplyDelete
  100. A few that come to mind: Rockers-Orient Express from 1991 Rumble, Bret-Diesel from Survivor Series 1995, Bret-Austin from WM 13, Bret-Perfect SummerSlam 1991, and Warrior-Savage from WM 7 (I'm a big mark for the Elizabeth return - my favorite WM moment).

    ReplyDelete
  101. I love the rumble, favorite gimmick match ever.

And yes, you need either a top guy or a work horse booked early and either make eliminations or tease eliminations to keep things entertaining.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Goldberg/Raven Nasties/Cactus and Sullivan Bret/Perfect SS version

    ReplyDelete
  103. Just out of the blue? That's weird. You didn't injure yourself?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yeah, I'm at that stage in my reviews. The cahoots bit was sort of fun because of the way it turned against McMahon after Breakdown, but then the double turn was flat out dumb with Bearer turning on Kane and the Undertaker admitting he started the fire and all that jazz.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Best stories about survivors, i.e: Flair in 92, Benoit in 2004.

    ReplyDelete
  106. sciatica for whatever it's called. happened to me once. Try icing it down

    ReplyDelete
  107. I think it's good to built to a titanic confrontation between two guys. Did wonders for 1990. They really haven't tried that since except for the awful Cena-Orton greeted to silence thing when Del Rio won.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Can't argue with that; the only thing about the last thing is that Liz looked so early 90's frumpy there- thankfully she would reveal her true hotness in WCW

    ReplyDelete
  109. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 19, 2014 at 6:28 PM

So the Yankees trade Martin Prado and David Phelps to the Marlins for Nathan Eovaldo, Garrett Jones and a minor leaguer.

    Anyone keeping score this off-season?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Eh, I think she looks fine, but she did look better later in WCW. Still, when she tears into Sherri and the place loses its mind is great.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 6:29 PM

For anyone who is, the Yankees are losing.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Listening to it right now, he appears to be able to speak like a person just fine.

    ReplyDelete
  113. All I see this off-season is the Marlins loading up on talent along with the Padres. It's a strange off-season. The Reds still need a damn LF.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Just keeping track of the Braves throwing in the towel IN DECEMBER! Who gives up before spring training?

    ReplyDelete
  115. the fabulous rougeaus vs bulldogs ss 88, megabucks/powers too.. flair/savage wm 8 ...

    ReplyDelete
  116. I hate to sound like a fanboy, but basically anything Austin. Matches. Promos. Anything works.

Also, most i can watch any Kurt or Benoit matches whenever.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 6:30 PM

God forbid I make a joke without being told to fuck off.

    ReplyDelete
  118. My upper back had been hurting me for a week or so now my right leg is killing me

    ReplyDelete
  119. Well, the Braves idea is to suck for a few years and then go all out when they get their new stadium that's going to be a traffic nightmare, right?

    ReplyDelete
  120. At least they aren't Oakland

    ReplyDelete
  121. I never saw a Benoit match that is under **. Even with broomstick he knew how to carry a decent match.

    ReplyDelete
  122. anything Bret Hart, but particularly Bret/Bulldog at Wembley, Bret/Austin at WM13, and the 10 man tag at Stampede

    ReplyDelete
  123. Shawn-Mankind from Mind Games.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Austin's matches, especially when you get into WM 13 and beyond, have that quality where even if they aren't great the crowd is still losing its shit. It really enhances the match quality.

    ReplyDelete
  125. It's going to be in the middle of nowhere and right off the interstate. One way in and one way out. Yeah, nothing can go wrong there. In fairness, leaving Turner Field is a nightmare too.

    ReplyDelete
  126. 2001 had Austin & Rock facing off like that. They also dod it in the 6-man HIAC at Armageddon the previous month.

    ReplyDelete
  127. WM XX main event.

    ReplyDelete
  128. That's at the top of my list of matches that would have come off better with a clean finish. The whole casket thing that got involved was pretty stupid, but they sort of booked themselves into a corner because Mankind had just come off two back-to-back wins against the Undertaker (unheard of at the time).

    ReplyDelete
  129. The only Kurt match I have a tough time watching, and don't get me wrong is a great match and awesome finish, is WM XX vs Guerrero, and my reasoning is that Eddie really appears gaunt and pale and generally unwell there and in hindsight makes it morbid

    ReplyDelete
  130. I really have no idea what Billy Beane is doing there.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Yeah, and even if they're not the technically sound, he at least puts in everything he has to make a match work. He's one of the few guys who even makes garbage brawls work. If not for his injury, he'd be appreciated much more for his skill.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I was watching the Heyman doc on the network and they were talking about how they would bring in big name vets but some would be a pain in the ass to deal with. Among the wrestlers shown in the montage was British Bulldog. Did he really do a ECW show? I've never heard that before.

The time period looked like it was after his WCW run and before he came back in 94.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I thought a dq fit the match. Just not the way they went about it. Just end it after the table spot and then sneak a rematch in at the next show.

    ReplyDelete
  134. today? Surprises. Book against what is expected draw wise. They did that with UT and Cena winning from 30 a few years back, since no one ever won from 30 even though the announcers talked that draw up. Now have someone win from a "dead" number. Personally I'd like a MAJOR decrease in the Shawn Michaels, Rick Martel, John Morrison style "almost eliminations." At a certain point it just became too much, even for them. And too often it had me grumbling about stupid wrestlers who tossed guys over and then didn't make sure they were out or simply gave up trying to push someone who was almost out of the ring to the ground.

    ReplyDelete
  135. kinda a fan of phelps when he can get on the mound. i remember him having a good k/bb ratio. anybody have thoughts on the Padres winter moves? I think Wil Myers may be a bust.

    ReplyDelete
  136. He kinda had a technical wrestling revival in 2001 against Angle.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Ah, that's right. I enjoyed Ironman Kane's push in the 2001 Rumble too.

    ReplyDelete
  138. I think him vs Austin at KOTR that year is a masterpiece

    ReplyDelete
  139. walt jocketty needs to go!!

    ReplyDelete
  140. I like Tim Daly as Superman, but I'm a wings fanboy so whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Lex Luger, the British Bulldog, and Henry Godwinn are the dumbest Rumble competitors ever. "Hey, let me get a guy into a gorilla press and instead of throwing him out, I'll throw him into the center of the ring."

    ReplyDelete
  142. Saw Top Five, Wild and Big Hero 6 today.

    ReplyDelete
  143. what you think about Top Five?

    ReplyDelete
  144. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 19, 2014 at 6:35 PM

2015 projected as of right now:

    C Brian McCann
    1B Mark Teixeria
    2B ???
    3B Chase Headley
    SS Didi Gregorius
    LF Brett Gardner
    CF Jacoby Ellsbury
    RF Chris Young
    DH Alex Rodriguez

    SP CC Sabathia
    Masato Tanaka
    Michael Pineda
    Chase Whitley
    ???
    CL Dellin Betances/Andrew Miller

It's not that bad. Rotation needs more depth, and the infield isn't fleshed out yet.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Rank them in order of liking.

    ReplyDelete
  146. yeah they need to just look at all the spots that defy logic and try a rumble without any of them

    ReplyDelete
  147. I'm surprised San Diego's been so active

    ReplyDelete
  148. some of those guys are just skating of name recognition at this point. I have no problem with the youth movement though.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Really really funny. I still don't think Chris Rock is a great director and a lot doesn't make sense, but when he's on, he's on. So many great cameos that I'm not gonna mention

    ReplyDelete
  150. I didn't mind it too much. It fit with the crazy nature of the match. And UT popping out of the casket was a great moment. (Bearer's sell of it was brilliant)

    ReplyDelete
  151. Wild, Top Five, Big Hero 6?

    ReplyDelete
  152. MikeyMike, JuggernautDecember 19, 2014 at 6:36 PM

Michaels-Taker at 25, HHH-Rock at Backlash, Austin-Dude Love at Over the Edge, the first two TLC matches.

    ReplyDelete
  153. theater hopping or legit paying? is that possible anymore? Back in the day as a kid we did it.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Yeah, 2001 booking was kinda disappointing, but Austin brought the goods in the ring.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Sounds like fun. Still pissed the theater chains do their marathon days on weekdays. Would have loved to get in on the Marvel marathon leading to Avengers or the Batman Trilogy

    ReplyDelete
  156. 2001 Austin was fucking amazing; he had his working boots on that year

    ReplyDelete
  157. I saw it last weekend. Just curious on what you thought.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Yeah, that's been really puzzling.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Theater hopping. I went to a theater where it's too easy.

    ReplyDelete
  160. i dont really get the markakis move. ok so he has a good contact rate. u figure the power is gonna take another dive this year and atlanta has always struck me as a tough park to hit homers.

    ReplyDelete
  161. He's gone wacko again.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Ring wise 2001 was still pretty good. If the Invasion had delivered it would've been WWF's best year.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I did the marathon when TDKR was released, I'll never do it again. 9 hours in a movie theater is murder.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Ah, yeah I forgot Austin-Dude Love. My favorite Attitude Era match ever (I don't put Bret-Austin from WM 13 in that category).

    ReplyDelete
  165. Chris Rock being Chris Rock is still so fucking funny, and it was cool how every bit part was a fellow NY comic

    ReplyDelete
  166. Chris Rock is superb live, but his movie track record is kinda weak.

I have little interest in top five though.

Myers was hurt for part of last season. I think that Petco is a bad ballpark for a right handed hitter, however. The guys they brought in like Kemp and Myers and now Upton, might struggle.

Damn three movies in a day. Is that your profession?

    ReplyDelete
  169. Add that summer heat and it's just unbearable as it seems to sap all your energy. I really think they are mailing it in so no one raises hell when they move.

    ReplyDelete
  170. A lot of the press for Top Five has been "A Chris Rock movie that doesn't suck!"

    ReplyDelete
  171. I saw some idiot fan argue that the Reds should just move Mesoraco out to LF

    ReplyDelete
  172. No. I just wanted to get those movies out of the way. Once you start doing it often, it's really nothing

    ReplyDelete
  173. Honestly? That'd probably be my take too, just wish I had the chance to find out. That Thursday afternoon-ish run into a midnight showing is a tough sell.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Do you find your interest fading by the third movie?

    ReplyDelete
  175. I was dying laughing the whole time. I read a few reviews and I could see how some missed some jokes because it was a bit too inside-y

    ReplyDelete
  176. They loved their Batman and Hawkgirl. Superman and Wonder Woman not so much.

    ReplyDelete
  177. MikeyMike, JuggernautDecember 19, 2014 at 6:40 PM

What do you define as the Attitude Era? I don't necessarily disagree just curious

    ReplyDelete
  178. Not if the movie is good. Today was the first time I did it in a long time, so I was fading a little, but back in the day, it was easy. I would do 5 in one day all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  179. I watched all three LOTR movies, the extended versions in one day. But that was at home. Approximately 13 hours or so of viewing

    ReplyDelete
  180. Been trying to catch all of Chris Rock's appearances on the promo circuit. He's killed it everywhere he's been and hardly ever repeats jokes. Why can't he just get a job doing promo work all the time?

    ReplyDelete
  181. By the time we actually got to TDKR I was so tired and blown out, I hated that movie on the first viewing.

  182. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessDecember 19, 2014 at 6:41 PM

Little annoyed today, because I liked Prado. Getting the team younger is good no matter what, but the Yanks need some more reliable starting pitching. Sabathia and Pineda are questionable because of injuries, Tanaka could be the same after last season.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Holy shit. I have trouble watching 3 hour movies. Couldn't imagine 5 movies in one day.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Rosario Dawson is a butterface right? That's what I got out of Top Five.

    ReplyDelete
  185. I think that I've watched 3, maybe 4 movies all year. Plus I started the second Hobbit but it was just too long to make it through.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Like, out of Georgia or just angling for another new stadium around Atlanta?

    ReplyDelete
  187. Home is one thing, I'll sit here like a log and watch 12 hours straight of Always Sunny.

Even the best movie theater seats start getting uncomfortable at hour 10.

    ReplyDelete
  188. MikeyMike, JuggernautDecember 19, 2014 at 6:42 PM

Mike Miller randomly has fifteen points in the first half for the Cavs.

    ReplyDelete
  189. You get used to it. First time I did it, I was punch drunk after the fourth one. Every once in a while, I would be exhausted going into movie 4 or 5, but if the movies are easy to watch, it's doable.

    ReplyDelete
  190. Oh fuck off. You know you can always make a joke without being told to fuck off.

    ReplyDelete
  191. It's about two hours from Atlanta down in Cobb County. If you ever take a trip down to .....yeah that place

    ReplyDelete
  192. Being too long is why I've still yet to finish the LotR trilogy.

    ReplyDelete
  193. The monologue about FDR was so funny. And the JFK joke.

    ReplyDelete
  194. I'm pretty sure that I saw Avengers, Captain America, and Thor 2 all this year.

That's a pretty big binge for me. I dig the MCU.

    ReplyDelete
  195. I saw the first Hobbit after seeing Les Mis, and almost couldn't get through it

    ReplyDelete
  196. The Planet of the Apes one was good too.

    ReplyDelete
  197. It's the Nets. I'm not surprised
