Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.

Happy Hanukkah, you Jews.

Happy Kwanzaa, you crazy dancin' fools.

Did I get everybody?

You can talk about your Christmas hauls here.

  1. First! Merry Christmas!

  2. Jew Jitsu should be a fighting style. Have Heyman and Colt Cabana teach Punk about it to train for UFC.
    Anyway, Merry Christmas, fellow humanoids.

This is where you can have your airing of the grievances.

    ReplyDelete
  9. followed by the feats of strength of course.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I think it's going to work out just fine. Neville is nothing more than a midcard comedy guy anyway. No harm no foul.

    ReplyDelete
  11. i figured a bunch of nxt heads would be pissed being that him and zayn are the second coming to alot of them.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Anyone else watching 24 hrs of a Harold and Kumar Christmas!? Im switching bt that and lil Ralphie all this am.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Looper is great.. took me two viewings to fully understand it though, but once i figured everything out it is a truly unique and fucking awesome movie.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I'll get the pole out of the crawlspace.

    ReplyDelete
  15. The 2nd coming of Crash Holly maybe. The guy is 5'6 with a rat face. They gave him a Mighty Mouse gimmick. Go do your best with it. Hopefully, he can be as successful as Shane Helms. I imagine it won't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I was watching the Yule Log for a couple hours to hear some Xmas music. There was a time in life where it would be on all morning and part of the afternoon. But these days, we really need the court shows and Wendy Williams.

    ReplyDelete
  17. In line getting coffee and witness this conversation take place in front of me:

Mom: Because your fucking sisters are in rehab again!

  23. All of these NBA games look shitty

I know we all fight 365 days a year. In the end...to me at least...it's all for fun. I miss farva...I wish you all a merry Christmas

    ReplyDelete
  26. Why didn't Sony release the movie in theaters if they were just going to post it on youtube? Maybe this is the jaded wrestling fan in me talking but this stuff is starting to look like a work.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I've never seen this booked before, but why not book Neville as the
King of the Midgets. Cesaro is already working with midgets and I'm
told he's pretty strong. Have Cesaro destroy midgets for weeks on end
(you know, like seeing how far he can toss a midget and being a bully
generally towards little people). The midgets can pool their money
together to bring in a 'ringer' super-midget for revenge. And have that
    midget be PAC.

Once you have that story in place, you can
always use a midget sneaking around to deliver a weapon or a low blow to
help PAC in a match. Maybe even blowing special powder in his face to
    make gravity forget him.

  29. NBA is my fav league. Im a huge Heat fan so im curious for the lebron reaction from our fans, and also to see if they still have a pulse after blowing a 23 pt lead to the fucking 6ers the other night. I have league pass, the game made me want to puke. Plus Bosh is still out.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It is in theaters.

    It's a great movie.

    ReplyDelete
  35. it works fine for me, eating xmas dinner at my sisters and she has a mansion with a movie theater built in. we plan on ordering it after dinner tonight and watching it in there.

    ReplyDelete
  36. No fn way, Bosh isn't even playing, lebron has something to prove

    ReplyDelete
  37. Nah, the part where the emails leaking and revealing that Any Pascal is as clueless as Dixie Carter and Stephanie McMahon leads me to believe it's not.

    ReplyDelete
  38. so does wade in a way. Also Wade has been playing great running the point for the most part. People were real quick to dismiss him thinking he was done. Even though this is the same team that lost to the sixers the other night (yuck) I still think it will be a competitive game, even without CB and his pick and pop game. Lot of season left and they havent been helathy if Riley can move Cole for a piece (like Lance Stephenson). they will be a tough out in the playoffs for anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  39. All your presents is belong to Hoss.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Crash Holly was the Elroy Jetson of the WWE.

I'll send it to you sometime in the next millennium.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Mazy Star 'Fade into me' & Sia 'Breathe Me' back to back on Pandora? Yes please.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Never understood the fascination. Was it "beloved" before Turner spammed it every Christmas? Seems like something Warner Turner/Warner had cheep rights to and just played the shit out of

    ReplyDelete
  47. Wade is still one of the best PGs in the world. I don't really understand how people gave up on him and Bosh so quickly. If they get Lance Stephenson, they'll likely be a hard team to play. The biggest concern, as always, is Wade's health. He won't be able to go deep in the play-offs.

    ReplyDelete
  48. League Pass is the best gift of all. I was watching all the really bad Cavs teams with it. But it's fun to watch an entire season...it makes you appreciate the game more.

    ReplyDelete
  49. But I did watched Cheaters & Bridezillas before it. That's as far as I go with the 'reality' based tv, unless we count WWE of course.

    ReplyDelete
  50. My aunt, who lives in the part of Cleveland it was filmed in and knows some people in the movie, made us watch it as kids every year. I hate it only because it was shoved down my throat.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Are the sisters in rehab because they fuck each other too much? I would definitely have been tempted to ask that....

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yeah, really well said.

    ReplyDelete
  53. wade is still preferably a sg, but chalmers has turned more into a 2, and cole is very erratic atm. once shabazz develops than wade can get back to his more natural position. but right now he has to to be the one to run the offense, especially with Bosh out. Even if they stand pat and maybe add Blatche when hes done in China the team will start to find their rhythm. There was so much turn around from last years team including role players. Spo will make it work. If they even are the 7 or 6 seed u think Cle or Chi pr Wash would want to play them in the first round??? Hell no.

    ReplyDelete
  69. at least the kid is getting help on the bright side. however relapsing has an incredibly high percentage. something like 75% of ppl relapse even after doing intensive rehab. So sad.

    Notable loot:

    Laptop cooling mat
    AFL Jersey
    Plane ticket to Japan
    Guardians of the Galaxy

Also, Tiger Woods PGA 2008, the joke being that 10 years on I still haven't finished TW 2003 yet.

    And chocolate/gift cards etc.

    Notable loot I dished out:

    Wine, cider, vodka
    Polaroid Camera
    That Godawful Vampire Academy movie
Arranged a training camp for my basketball team

I lost the first annual Christmas cook-off (an invention of mine to make sure no one phoned it in with preparing food for Christmas lunch/dinner) to my mother narrowly, which I'll take as a decent victory. Made a cob loaf with my own recipe, turning it into a sort of calzone really. Think of like a giant pizza you break off and eat like a dip. Mum upstaged me with some sort of ice cream cake that had everything, plus these salami cups that had feta in them, well deserved victory, and everyone put effort in.

I feel blessed to have such a close extended family that I always look forward to seeing, truly my favourite time of the year.

And now for the Boxing Day Test Match between Australia and India, less family festivities and more sitting around with the boys in front of the cricket putting away all the booze we just received.

To all the BoD goers out there, hope your Christmas was amazing and you got to spend plenty of time with your loved ones. I hope this recharges everyone's batteries and we can all come back fresh to swarm all over what Ambrose is booked to lose to next.

    -Chris

Flair was definitly not Elvy. Elvy was a troll who attacked people for ripping on TNA. Flair was a good contributor who rubbed a couple of people the wrong way when he moderated the comments section a little strongly.

    ReplyDelete
  82. agreed bro. Ennis had been playing real well lately finally getting minutes. IDK why Granger was getting any burn at all, he's done.

    ReplyDelete

  84. That sounds like a wonderful Christmas. I like the cooking challenge. I made Christmas dinner last year and I think my mom got a little jealous of all the compliments because she took it back this year.

It's a great time of the year to see family and appreciate them. I wish I could hang out with friends, too, but that's not how my family rolls.

    ReplyDelete
  101. 1400 attendance isn't a great sample to use

    ReplyDelete
  102. Maybe Kevin Nash will be there too.

WWE issued the following statement: “Kevin Nash has not regularly performed for WWE since January 2004. He is currently under a non-wrestling ‘legends’ contract which has been immediately suspended until this domestic dispute is resolved.”

    ReplyDelete
  103. How great is Summerslam 2002? I think Mysterio-Angle should be in the discussion for greatest openers....And I forgot how hilarious Neil Patrick Harris was in Harold & Kumar Christmas

    ReplyDelete
  104. Nash is one of my all-time favorites because he never made a secret of when he didn't give a shit.

    And a Happy New Year!

    ReplyDelete
  107. That's strange. Why would WWE bother saying anything.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Maybe not, but TNA is selling a smaller venue. People can hate on it all they want, but ROH sells in NYC. TNA, not so much. I'm not hating on TNA, I'm just saying regional promotions in NYC are holding steady.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Hanukkah ended yesterday

    ReplyDelete
  115. I liked it before it started airing for 24 hours.

    ReplyDelete
  116. It's good, but I don't think HHH/HBK has aged well without the shock of HBK putting on that performance. It was a ***ish match. Plus, I remember it for one of the worst Bikertaker burial jobs he's done in that horrible era of his.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Because someone probably called and asked for a comment

    ReplyDelete
  118. And a fine Hanukkah it was, I'm sure.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Thank you! I'm so sick of everyone slobbering over this match

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  121. The NBA needs flex scheduling on XMas

    ReplyDelete
  122. I was thinking this same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Felicity Smoak had the best Hanukkah ever as a kid:

    ReplyDelete
  124. Why the fuck does ABC/ESPN insist on putting the Knicks on their national games all the goddamn time

    ReplyDelete
  125. Someone should go the Garden holding up a sign with a picture of a triangle that reads "A triangle looks like this"

    ReplyDelete
  126. Scott was sick of it before it was cool!

    ReplyDelete
  127. The Interview isn't released on PSN.

    A Sony download system.

    ReplyDelete
  128. People over 60 still think people care about the Garden and any team in NY. No, we care about winners. Not location of the team

    ReplyDelete
  129. That Dennis Rodman "It's a Triangle" crack was one of the greatest quotes I've ever head.

    ReplyDelete
  130. just download it off youtube

    ReplyDelete
  131. And then he gave it *****

    ReplyDelete
  132. Is the movie any good or is completely the stupid North Korea hype

    ReplyDelete
  133. Looney Tunes marathon on Boomerang.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I seriously doubt wrestling fans are going to boycott if Nash remains employed. They will boycott if the don't like the direction of the show, not much more than that.

    ReplyDelete
  135. ROH does much better on house shows than TNA. It has always been a mystery to me why they do so poorly given national TV exposure with ok ratings.

    ReplyDelete
  136. No one thought the Knicks would be THIS bad this year. Plus, NY market. I hope this is the end of NY on XMas Day. BK got banished after two stinkbombs in a row

    ReplyDelete
  137. Just out of curiosity, how come you guys don't consider that a great match?

    ReplyDelete
  138. With all the recent leaks Sony look like the TNA of movie studio

    ReplyDelete
  139. This looks like a rec league game. I seriously wish there was something else to watch

    ReplyDelete
  140. Because HBK ignores the back work that the match had built on. It's a fun match but it's so annoying watching him no-sell

    ReplyDelete
  141. I will eventually, I just love this whole shitstorm, and that Sony is basically the TNA of movie production companies at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Exactly. Plus, I haaated HHH's slow crappy work in that period, and I don't think that match was a big improvement for him. It was just covered by HBK bumping ridiculously for him and taking all the attention.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I really don't get it. They pull it then post it then put it in theaters anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Smart move. If another Interview related hack happens, it'll most likely happen to the distribution service of the movie

    ReplyDelete
  145. "Hoss...likes your presents."
    "But they're mine."
    (Chokeslam)
"Who else would like to give Hoss presents?"

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  147. Holy crap, another Stone Roses fan on the blog. Your taste is impeccable, Stranger.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Bradshaw almost burning the flag was the best part

    ReplyDelete
  149. Only people over 60? I've only lived in Brooklyn for 5 years, but it sure feels like this city lives and dies with the Knicks and Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Well, it could cause a concussion if he was hit hard enough, but it's Nash, so who knows.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Awesome. The Flash is my favorite new show of the year, and Arrow is growing on me, in large part to Felicity.

    ReplyDelete
  152. What was the deal with that? I remember WWE went crazy and seemingly wanted everyone on the roster to cut their hair except for Triple H.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Wrestling at the Manhattan Center is always epic. The shows will be a lot of fun. I'm not going because I feel like I go to a few too many shows in the area as it is.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I think in this case it was so they'd look more like Lance Storm. I don't think it's a coincidence that they both had a renewed push coinciding with a hair cut.

  166. He can do more. He just doesn't do it. If he ever committed to playing defense even in his earlier years, I think people would view him better. James Harden is doing it albeit he's younger than Melo.

  167. In all honesty, both Test and Christian were guys that looked better with short hair anyway.

  168. I understand maybe having one or two games, but having five games is just ridiculous. Who wants to watch this?

  169. Shit, am I supposed to hate that match again? I can never keep track.

  170. I would if my folks weren't hogging up the tube ith the Yuletide log. Otherwise I'd be set for my Spurs taking on the Thunder.

  171. I don't really blame him on this team. Harden plays less defense than Melo. I'm thinking that the suck of this team just broke his spirit cause he didn't play this way in Denver.

  172. No Durant kills that game too.

  173. The Spurs will kill them as well

  174. He needs to come back. Not only the defensive anchor on the team but also my 1st round pick in one of my fantasy bball leagues and it's fucking hard keeping my head above water without him

  176. The Knicks in 2013 had basically the same guys in 2012 when they won 50 games.

  177. I've got to get out of the house. Can't take this anymore. This is why I work two jobs.

  178. Collins and Rose are talking about how Ibaka needs to step up more and hasn't been doing that and they're right.

    ReplyDelete
  179. I can't explain it. Has to be a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on

  180. 16 and 11, not bad for a 40 year old 7-footer.

  181. Losing by 11 at home and getting booed off the floor on Christmas. Good look, Knicks.

  182. Linda Cohn is moron. "John what did you learn from the fight?" The fcuk????

    ReplyDelete
  183. Speaking of Test, i wonder what would have happened if he won the title instead of Big Show at Survivor Series and they still do the Steph betrayal angle at Armegedon

  184. Those Liam Neeson/John Wall commercials are hilarious in retrospect.

  185. That Secret Service movie or whatever it is looks absolutely awful.

    ReplyDelete
  186. I think it looks awesome. Something different. I've also hears a lot of good buzz for it
