  1. Bayless, are you excited to finally get to review something from 1996!

    ReplyDelete
  2. The beginning of the last boom period. Here it is going on 19 years later and I wonder if we'll see any resemblance of at era again,

    ReplyDelete
  3. I already have my 32 page soliloquy on the WCW career of Mike Enos already to go.

  4. Some Colts beat writer claims a source told him the Patriots deflated the footballs for the game.

Even then, it's not like the Colts had a chance.

  6. FINALLY, 1996 comes out. There's a set I'll be buying once it's out...

    ReplyDelete
  7. True. And its an anonymous source from a Colts beat writer, not the most credible thing I have ever heard.

"We didn't realize that wrestling involved landing on a mat with our bodies. Give us money."

    Neurological damage, indeed.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Well the NFL is looking into it, and it's the small bullshitty kind of thing the Pats would do.

    ReplyDelete
  10. There seems to be literally nothing on Enos online after he left WCW. Anyone know what happened to him?

    ReplyDelete
  11. The Ghost of Matt_INDEED!!!January 19, 2015 at 7:10 AM

The Colts needed more than air-filled footballs to win that game. They needed Jesus on a horse with firebolts coming out of its nostrils.

    ReplyDelete
  12. They weigh the balls before the game so they either did or they didn't. No need for this investigation nonsense. They know the answer.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Colts were the worst team in an AFC Championship game in the past 15 years.

    ReplyDelete
  14. The Ghost of Matt_INDEED!!!January 19, 2015 at 7:11 AM

Who knows? He was the true original charismatic enigma.

    ReplyDelete
  15. They apparently confiscated some balls during the game.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Does anybody ever actually follow these WWE.com Raw preview links?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I've just found that he spent several days in jail in 2010 for contempt of court regarding some small claims case. But that's all.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I did once. They're no fun at all.

    ReplyDelete
  19. So they know the answer then. Like I said, what is the point of the investigation. They already know.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The Ghost of Matt_INDEED!!!January 19, 2015 at 7:15 AM

I have never once clicked on them.

  21. The Ghost of Matt_INDEED!!!January 19, 2015 at 7:17 AM

He got contempt of court because he flashed a puff of smoke in the courtroom and disappeared. It was totes enigmatic.

    ReplyDelete
  22. They know. They just haven't released a statement. The only real consequence would be losing a draft pick anyway. What they did wasn't going to cause that big a blowout.

It's just always funny when the Pats get caught cheating.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Wonder what pick they lose. I bet their 4th.

    ReplyDelete
  24. He was part of a pretty significent WCW storyline - granted the first 20 seconds of it or so.

    ReplyDelete
  25. An anagram of The Totes Engimatic is “I, M Enos, Get Tit
Cheat”. What does this *mean*? It’s so enigmatic.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm not sure what the process is, but is it not possible to deflate them during the game? That's what I pictured when I first heard about it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Here is a sneak peak at my 32 page soliloquy of the WCW career of Mike Enos:
"As I walk down ye quaint path to the shanty ring inside of the Center Stage studios in the filthy metro called Atlanta, I question my life decision. "Wayne Bloom" I shout. "Wayne Bloom," where are ye? My eyes dart across the pavilion and what do I see? Not Wayne Bloom but rather fat men with shirts depicting Bugs Bunny and Foghorn Leghorn as gangsta rappers! Nonsense! Frivolous! What is next? Elmer Fudd rolling up in a 1964 Chevrolet Impala? And why, why must I wrestle against 20 year old Southerners. I should be reaping the glorious benefits with my partner, Wayne Bloom, as we take the WCW Tag Team Championships to the highest of glory! Higher than the mountain tops to which Greek god of god's Zeus resides. But I will not get to do that as later on I have to put over a man who refers to himself a humorous."
Let me know if this isn't grandiose enough.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The Colts pass the ball a lot too don't they? I don't know that this would give the Pats a big advantage (or any advantage, for that matter).

    ReplyDelete
  29. I guess but who is this "source" that the Colts guy is talking about. Seems sketchy to me and a cheap way to write a story.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It doesn't. I think it is a lame way to create a story by a Colts beat writer.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The Ghost of Matt_INDEED!!!January 19, 2015 at 7:42 AM

I think it's clear that the Enigmatic Enos totes plays with your girlfriend's bewbs and then Yahoo IMs her because he's all about 1996 WCW, man.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The Ghost of Matt_INDEED!!!January 19, 2015 at 7:43 AM

Here's an example of why you are an A+ player.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Thanks. I am legit tempted to write a Shakespearean type play revolving around 1996 WCW. Because 1996 WCW is what everyone wants. Everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Abundantly clear.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Damn. This is up early.

Wait a sec...no, no, that's not right. I'm up later than normal because i don't start working until tomorrow. That's it.

    Heh.

    Or else.

    ReplyDelete
  37. The Ghost of Matt_INDEED!!!January 19, 2015 at 7:49 AM

    Either/or or both.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm pretty sure I read that an official thought a ball was light. I'm going to see if I can find that blurb as it was a few hours ago.
