Comments

  1. Watching STNG season 5 bluray.

    Fuck yeah.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Sheamus, getting on that perpetual Evan Bourne "almost back, but not really" grind.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Hm. Dwayne promo. Oh joy.

Well, should be entertaining, which is more than most promos can say these days. Wonder if he'll try and give the rub to his cousin.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I just finished my third rewatch of Deep Space Nine. I think I'm slowly coming to realize that it's my favorite show of all-time. And yet, I just haven't been able to get into any other Star Trek show.

    ReplyDelete
  5. The Rock is the one guy who could win the Rumble who is not Daniel Bryan and the crowd would pop huge. Rock/Lesnar is a huge Mania match, despite both men being part timers. Tonight should be very, very interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Kern kinda got a shitty deal in the STNG verse.

    ReplyDelete
  7. The Rock vs Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania please. Pretty please.

    ReplyDelete
  8. No. Nonononononono.

Dwayne shouldn't wrestle anymore. He can't stay healthy.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hooray for more part time guys!

    ReplyDelete
  10. It would be one match, then you have Rollins cash in immediately afterwards. Boom, a star is born.

    ReplyDelete
  11. If I am TNA, I'm calling up Justin Gabriel. He is talented and has barely been on WWE TV for the past few years. He can reinvent himself there

    ReplyDelete
  12. I've read some people predicting that Rock is going to be in the Rumble, but to me, it makes more sense for him to somehow setup a program for Mania where he teams with Sting against HHH and a partner, since I just don't think they're going to give Sting a one-on-one match, plus they set up a HHH-Rock match at the Smackdown anniversary special.

That said, this Rumble has tons of potential to be the most loaded for surprise entrances in some time. You could throw Rock in there, Orton, rumors of some old timers like DDP, an NXT guy or two. Could be a really fun Rumble. Of course, Alex Riley is one of the announced participants, suggesting that we're going to get a lot of dead wood. Hopefully, the wood is in there for some huge clearing spot, and not just to clutter up the ring like 2007.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I agree, but the IWC would just look at it as TNA picking up WWE's garbage.

    ReplyDelete
  14. DS9 has aged remarkably well, especially the later seasons. I didn't care for it when it debuted, and only started watching when Worf came over. I really love it more, and I hope it gets the bluray treatment.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I have a feeling he's more interested in Lucha Underground or Japan

    ReplyDelete
  16. Maybe but Gabriel has been wasting away in the WWE and if he gets some actual time to do something, it will be worth it. Its not like he is Heath Slater or Titus O'Neill.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I do wonder whom it would benefit Rollins the most to win the title from. Rock could put him over huge, beating Brock would be massive, Cena would be big, Reigns would be decent, and stealing it from Bryan after he finally culminates his WM journey would get big heat. So many options.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Reigns will probably get the Khali 2007 push, assuming he isn't actually winning the thing.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'd rather they stop bringing in one or part timers for matches.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Always look forward to the rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Me too. Id rather see Bryan/Lesnar. But Rock/Lesnar is a blockbuster, and Mania is about business above all.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I bet he ends up in Lucha Underground. Is he a US citizen?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm scared they're going to try to use Rock to make Roman Reigns a bigger deal than he is.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Always bugs me that worf no sells romulan tasha. Dude should have FREAKED OUT.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh absolutely. Even if it's a completely foregone conclusion or there is no potential for surprises, I always get hyped for the Rumble.

It's the closest thing to dependable, annual magic that pro wrestling gets to have. At the very least, it's the most it ever feels like a sporting event.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Is there any match at the Royal Rumble besides the World Title match and the Rumble that won't suck a dogs dick?

    ReplyDelete
  27. why scared/ Makes sense for them to use the Rock like that.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The New Day vs. Cesaro, Kidd and Rose could be a lot of fun. No idea why it's an elimination match though.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Rock in a tag ain't happening. Sting in a tag ain't happening. Tags are for Raws. They're no buys.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Bryan/Lesnar would be a better match, and with the right promotion, bigger.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It's on the pre-show so it'll probably get some time.

    ReplyDelete
  32. For part timers, the Royal Rumble is the perfect space for them.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It seems like every Cesaro match lately is 5 minutes long with Cesaro looking weak and him doing the job. I highly doubt it. It would be good if Vince gave a damn about the people in this match, but since he doesn't, it will suck and have an elimination about every minute.

    ReplyDelete
  34. But is it, though? I mean, I guess it would be, since Rock is a huge star, Lesnar is a UFC legend, and a lot of people didn't see them wrestle in 2002. But that match just does nothing for me. Especially if it's somehow for the title.

I already felt they've blown the follow-up on Lesnar ending the streak, but if he winds up paired with Rock a year later, that would more or less cement it as a mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  35. In the rumble. Not winning it, or a singles match, and Dwayne won't be doing that.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'll eat a hat made out of marzipan if Cesaro isn't the first one eliminated. Hell, I have no faith he'll last very long into the match.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Because Daniel Bryan will already BE a bigger deal than Reigns without needing the Rock's help. So he's the one they should be pushing.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Better match, yes. But Bryan isn't doing bigger business than Rock. I love DB in a borderline romantic way, but no.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Actually, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea. They ARE cousins, after all.

Hell, why not get the whole damn family together for an eight-man against HHH and the Authority? Rock, Reigns, Usos vs. HHH, Show/Kane, Rollins (or, preferably, heel Sheamus)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Maybe when Reigns wins the Rumble, Rock will come out and endorse him so the crowd doesn't totally take a dump on the finish.

    ReplyDelete
  41. This IS the WWE we're talking about. I'm still not convinced we aren't getting Cena/Lesnar part 37 at Mania.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think there's a difference between taking a legitmate young, talented guy like Gabriel and pushing him to the top then taking guys like the Outlaws who are way past their expiration date and pushing them (like they did a few years ago).

I have no problem with them pushing a guy like Bobby Lashley.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Rock didn't move the needle during his last run, and ppv bus are no longer a thing.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It could, since they're family and it makes sense for Rock to endorse him. Then again, Rock's endorsement didn't do much for Cena at WM29. Of course, you could argue that's because it looked like Rock was only doing it because he had sniper sights targeting him.

    ReplyDelete
  45. That would be funny. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Rock vs. Reigns in a year or so.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I could absolutely see them thinking, "Well, we had Lesnar end the Streak so we could eventually use it to put one of our regular guys over. Does anyone have an argument for why it shouldn't be Cena?"

    ReplyDelete
  47. If we are indeed going to have to sit through Reigns as a main eventer for the next 12-24 months then WWE might as well do everything they can to help him.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The fact that we believe that Adam Fucking Rose will outlast Cesaro says everything that's wrong with WWE today. You're probably right though. If I were booking it, I'd have Cesaro win after being the last man standing, then get on the mic and apologize for sucking so much lately but say he's back to his old self and he's entering the Royal Rumble (then give him an impressive in the rumble itself). Of course that aint happening.

    ReplyDelete
  49. 12-24 months might be a conservative estimate considering how WWE likes to keep the same main eventers in rotation nowadays.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Honestly, it's WM. I'm not sure it'll matter what the card is.

Maybe Rock/Lesnar will be one of those big spectacle matches that draws in even non-fans, or maybe it'll just be a clunker that stinks up the card. It's hard to know.

I know Lesnar is pretty much done, but if I were WWE, I'd start planning how to use Rock for 31. Gotta start thinking about how they're going to sell out that 100,000+ seat stadium.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I don't think you can argue Rock being a draw. Both Manias he main evented against Cena were big business from what I understand

    ReplyDelete
  52. Crikey Mate Down Under AussieJanuary 25, 2015 at 9:34 AM

    HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!

    ReplyDelete
  53. "IT'S THE VIGILANTE STNG!"

    ReplyDelete
  54. That's more about WM itself than the headliners.

    ReplyDelete
  55. 12-24 months is a pipe dream not seen since before Mario discovered the warp whistle.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Even if it gets time, Cesaro still get eliminated 3 minutes in.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Just wishful thinking I guess :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Rock's return at Mania 27 was up 30 percent domestically from the year before with a much weaker card

    ReplyDelete
  59. One of the most perplexing Rumble moments:

R-Truth goes on a rampage and eliminates both Big Show and Kane in 2010 like it's nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  60. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcE0aAhbVFc

    ReplyDelete
  61. "When will you Australians learn? In America, we stopped using corporal punishment, and things have never been better. The streets are safe. Old people strut confidently in the darkest alleys. And the weak and nerdy are admired for their computer-programming abilities. So, like us, let your children run wild and free! 'Cos as the old saying goes, "let your children run wild and free.".

    ReplyDelete
  62. WrestleMania:
    -Lesnar vs. Rock
    -Sting vs. Triple H
    -Cena vs. Rusev
    -Bryan vs. Kane
    -Reigns vs. Big Show
    -Orton vs. Rollins

    ...Deal with it!

    ReplyDelete
  63. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObgpFydLOcw

    ReplyDelete
  64. And with this being the first $10 Mania, his presence is arguably more important than ever.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Uh. Ok then. Definite headscratcher.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Rock surprise entrant to Royal Rumble. Eliminates Rusev, then stuff happens and Rusev causes Rock's elimination. Rock vs Rusev at WM so Cena can main event against Rollins for WWE title and Reigns and Lesnar have undercard match. Put money on it.

    ReplyDelete
  67. There are zero matches I want to see on that card.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Has there been any scuttlebutt on why Cesaro has constantly jobbed the past few months?

    ReplyDelete
  69. I think it was the Big Show and Mark Henry, but yeah that was very strange.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Ah, you're right.

But yeah, it was all the stranger that he dumped them both simultaneously.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Oppositely, Cesaro beast modes everyone at the Wrestlemania battle royale, will probably be eliminated in 3 seconds tonight

    ReplyDelete
  72. Crikey Mate Down Under AussieJanuary 25, 2015 at 9:43 AM

    Be-er?

    ReplyDelete
  73. I could see something to that effect happening, although it'd be very shocking for WWE to have Rock and Lesnar both at WrestleMania and not against each other since that's been their dream since they concluded Rock/Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Comments about Orton/Cena few months ago I think

    ReplyDelete
  75. Didn't get Vince's brass anal ding

    ReplyDelete
  76. Cena vs. Rollins vs. Bryan vs. Lesnar as the main event of WM 31.
    Rusev vs. The Rock
    Sting vs. HHH
Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt (Hell in a Cell)

I have no basis for most of this but I would secretly like to see it.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Does it suck? Yes. Does WWE do sucky things? Yes. All the time.

    ReplyDelete
  78. If they put Bryan v. Kane on the WM card, then I'm canceling the network and the hell with this company.

    ReplyDelete
  79. MikeyMike, JuggernautJanuary 25, 2015 at 9:44 AM

Great day so far. I woke up and my hamstring no longer hurts. Also, I went to the strip club last not quite drunk and and only spent $20 for a round of drinks!

    ReplyDelete
  80. This isn't 1999. No way in hell does HHH Rock happen on smackdown, even if its an anniversary special.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I've seen too many episodes of total Divas -- I can tell Nikki and Brie apart without looking at their ttis.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Totally agree.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I wonder if they're bringing in Rock because they're just now realizing, "Holy fuck, Wrestlemania is $10 this year."

They're going to have to sell SO many damn subscriptions now that there's no built-in commitment.

    ReplyDelete
  84. What did he say?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Oh for the love of Christ, Buddha, Yahweh, Muhammed, Shiva and other deities...

    NO MORE AMBROSE VS. WYATT!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. How about your banjo string?

    ReplyDelete
  87. He didn't grab the brass ring, duh.

Or, "they can heat him up whenever they want" from the summer.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I can only tell them apart because Nikki has bitchy resting face.

    ReplyDelete
  89. "Fuck seeing that goddamn match for the 40th time"

    Or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  90. He gave an interview and said he was sick of seeing it for the 27th time

    ReplyDelete
  91. For the love of every other deity...

NO MORE MULTI-MAN WORLD TITLE MATCHES AT WRESTLEMANIA.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Hahaha. I guess I don't remember hearing about this. That's awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  93. More. Give me more! Pappa Shango as the ref with the voodoo bullshit

    ReplyDelete
  94. AWESOME. Thank you for sharing. And to think, at one point, he thought there was no place for fun or humor in his work.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Rock v Brock turned me off from wrestling for years. Rock was getting super stale; I didn't care for Brock in 2002. Didn't want to see HHH (Hunter or Hogan). Thus, I missed most of the 00s.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Hope we get Bryan vs Kane and Big Show at WM.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Rock singing for 20 minutes about how much Sacramento sucks would be a better use than a divas WM match.

    ReplyDelete
  98. tits is the only way I can tell them apart.

    Usos I'm still confused

    ReplyDelete
  99. "This Tyler Perry movie is HILARIOUS...!"

    ReplyDelete
  100. And it'll probably be a repeat of Summerslam 2002.

Rock gets booed, Brock gets cheered, except this time, Rock beats Brock before leaving.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Dropping the commitment was SO FUCKING STUPID.

Are we sure, like REALLY REALLY SURE that WrestleMania is part of the network subscription this year?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Can we at least have a gimmick match?

    ReplyDelete
  103. I thought Rock v Brock was a decent main event for one of the greatest shows of all time (Summerslam 2002). Have a hard time seeing that turning someone off.

    ReplyDelete
  104. With them I just look at their bulge.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I meant they set up the match for Mania when Rock appeared on the anniversary special this past fall.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Hm. Can you link to something that documents that?

But, I was talking more about the run with Punk and the subsequent match with cena.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Another weird TEW quirk is retirees or non-wrestlers being annoyed that you left them off of PPV. Am I supposed to stuff PPVs with as many people as possible or something?

    ReplyDelete
  108. Have him sing for 20 minutes about how much Dallas sucks for next year.

    Dallas fucking sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  109. It's WWE's Wrestlemania mentality.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Was. But, this is not Highlander. There can be more than one.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Always annoying. I end up rotating the non-wrestlers in and out of commentary positions to keep them happy.

    ReplyDelete
  112. In 2011 they had to make it 40 guys to accommodate all the members of the CORRRRRRE and the Nexus. In 2012 they had to use the commentators, Hacksaw Duggan, Kharma and still barely got to 30.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I look forward to seeing a neutured Cesaro as a talking head on a WWE Rivalries: Cena vs Orton show talking about how he never got tired of that match.

    ReplyDelete
  114. HATED ss02. Jericho (my favorite wrestler) jobbing to old man flair. HHH v HBK was good but I didn't want to see HHH show. Rock was going stale. Hated Bikertaker. Didn't care for brock (too soon too fast)

    ReplyDelete
  115. Call it the Dennis Stamp bug.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Whoever told CM Punk to frost his tips like that needs slapped in the dick.

Oh I'm watching the 2011 Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I just give them time off so they can shut the fuck up.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Any NXT guys in Philly? I'd love to see Sami Zayn in the Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Back in the day, Vince would have let him sit in on creative after saying some shit like that.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Punk #1, Bryan #2 in the 2011 Rumble. I just got a semi.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I wonder who's going to draw what numbers this year?

I feel like Ziggler will be one of the first 2, and Kane or Show will be #30, because any time they need a #30 disappointment, it's one of those two.

    ReplyDelete
  122. looking by the roster on wikipedia; they are barely getting to 30 tonight

    ReplyDelete
  123. I just renewed my subscription today and it specifically mentioned WrestleMania in the confirmation e-mail. I too don't like the dropping the commitment. I'd rather just pay for it once a year and live with my bad decision instead of pondering my bad decision every month.

    ReplyDelete
  124. WOW, I don't know what to say... IMO, Summerslam 2002 is just a half a step below WM 17. It was an amazing show full of 3 to 5 star matches from beginning to end. I will admit the Bikertaker match sucked, but when did it not? However, even if you dont like the people who went over on the show, I dont see how anyone can say the show wasn't great.

    ReplyDelete
  125. The 2011 rumble was such a strange one.

    ReplyDelete
  126. dumb dumb dumb not having it separate from WWE network. Even if they charge 30 bucks, it is better than 10

    ReplyDelete
  127. Daneil Bryan NOT going coast-to-coast and winning the thing is just insanity. They'll be chanting everything from "Yes! Yes! Yes!" to "No! No! No!" (when it's not Bryan), to CM Punk, to Cena Sucks, to Orton Sucks to Reigns Sucks to Your Mom Sucks if that doesn't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Also, RVD's been busted for Pot about 5 or 6 times in my game. I was putting him in a quickie one month feud with Rusev so I kept fining him for it since they were failed drug tests that didn't go out to the media. But since I'm done with the Rusev feud, I'm suspending him next time.

    ReplyDelete
  129. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WrestleMania_XXVII

"According to WWE's second-quarter earnings report, WrestleMania XXVII generated 1,059,000 PPV buys,[6] up roughly 30% domestically and 15% internationally from the previous year."

His in-ring return in 2012 at "WrestleMania XXVIII garnered 1,217,000 buys,[49] making it the most purchased wrestling event in history, surpassing WrestleMania 23's buyrate of approximately 1.2 million, with global gross sales in excess of $67 million.[50] The event also set a new record for the highest grossing live event in WWE history, grossing $8.9 million.[51]"

The guy was money. I think he almost single handedly made Mania huge again.

    ReplyDelete
  130. tonight, have him talk about the eagles, phillies, and 76ers. He could easily talk for 30 minutes on how much the 76ers suck

    ReplyDelete
  131. So the main predictions for the Rock are:
-Wins the Rumble--goes on to face Lesnar at Mania
-Enters the Rumble--gets eliminated by Rusev
-Enters or appears after the Rumble to put over Roman Reigns

    Anything missing?

    ReplyDelete
  132. Number 3.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Same thing I do. Or just give 'em a 2 grand bonus. That makes everyone happy.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Nikki is a jaw like Cena. That helps tell them apart

    ReplyDelete
  135. Number 3. It'll be some variation of number 3.

    ReplyDelete
  136. You know, if Mania is ten bucks, can they even afford him?

    ReplyDelete
  137. Hollywood Rock could tear Philly to shreds. God that would be glorious.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Not gonna lie, I'm fucking PUMPED for tonight. Trying to block out thoughts of the disappointment that awaits

    ReplyDelete
  139. Anyone ever notice Cena kinda resembles Tom Brady in the face? I'd really like to see a douchey corporate Cena on tv one day. It fits him perfectly

    ReplyDelete
  140. Rock should be IN the Royal Rumble instead he will cut some lame promo that Brian Gewirtz wrote for him that we have heard 3,000 times before. Lame af

    ReplyDelete
  141. I wish I was still capable of feeling hope. Getting old and cynical sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  142. I've seen douchey corporate Cena on TV every week for ten years.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I may not even watch it, I've lost all confidence in this company, they truly have no clue what they are doing.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Let me lament HOW THE FUCK DID TED DIBIASE JR NOT GET OVER?

Oh they booked him with a losing streak gimmick. And Maryese.

Actually, Maryese should have helped. She was HAWT.

    ReplyDelete
  145. There's no difference in the Usos. They both suck.

    ReplyDelete
  146. So what? It's The fucking Rock! It'll get a pop and he'll probably put the Rumble and/or some performers over in the promo.

It's okay to make fans happy.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Ah...I was thinking EWR and how I rarely use my non-wrestlers. Fewer options to appease the guys there.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I'm no spring chicken myself but as a wrestling fan if you can't get excited for the Rumble, what can you get excited about?

    ReplyDelete
  149. I love that CM Punk really blew up the usual argument of keeping Cena face when they hide other wrestlers merch, and only focus on Cena doing make a wish.

    ReplyDelete
  150. John Morisson. This 2011 Rumble is like depressing me with the guys in it who should be leading the company right now, instead of taking acting lessons or selling real estate or trying to be a UFC fighter.

    ReplyDelete
  151. 2011 John Morisson is doing the Kofi thing before Kofi was cool.

    ReplyDelete
  152. If his music hit during the Rumble the place would come unglued, that is how the company used to create a sense of urgency and "anything can happen". Instead they will stick with the usual plan.

    ReplyDelete
  153. This drinking game might help: http://uproxx.com/prowrestling/2015/01/need-a-royal-rumble-drinking-game-weve-got-you-and-your-liver-covered/

    ReplyDelete
  154. Who's selling real estate?

    ReplyDelete
  155. I thought he lacked charisma.

    ReplyDelete
  156. He was kinda bland. A good performer and athlete but so is Curtis Axel.

    ReplyDelete
  157. He needed a beard. That would have helped.

    ReplyDelete
  158. If they worked out a deal, logistics-wise, there's a chance he WILL be in the Rumble and if he is, he's totally winning.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Yeah, unless they're an authority figure, non-wrestlers just sit around and gather dust.

    ReplyDelete
  160. That's why god invented managers.

    ReplyDelete
  161. His ears were gigantic.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Ah. I guess everybody's got a price...for a suburban townhouse or waterfront condominium.

    ReplyDelete
  163. So is the President of the United States' ears!

    And Adrian Neville.

    ReplyDelete
  164. MikeyMike, JuggernautJanuary 25, 2015 at 10:04 AM

Apparently, according the Wrestlezone, the WWE doesn't want to have many ECW guys because Kevin Dunn hates ECW and they're also annoyed that ECW guys will get a bigger pop than their stars.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I would have paired him with his dad as his full-time manager. Even if Dibiase Jr. didn't get over, we'd still get a nice dose of the Million Dollar Man!

    ReplyDelete
  166. There was another episode where Picard and Worf were on an away mission and a couple of people snuck up on them really easily. It's Worf, dammit. Have him at least be aware and fight back before getting overwhelmed.

  167. Husky Harris... they missed an opportinuty by showing how Harris was a member of the new Nexus with CM Punk, and that Punk brainwashed Harris, who was abandoned by Punk. Then Harris became Bray Wyatt and formed his family, and now he's back to seek revenge on Punk.

  168. He had Virgil at one point. Should have kept that going.

  169. i guess daddy is not giving him any more of the trust-fund money

  170. You know who needs a beard? Lesnar. Lesnar looked like a legit hilljack serial killer with a beard.

  171. I'm with Dunn, I don't want to see ECW guys either.

  172. If Rock really wins the Rumble and main events WM, just give up on every current wrestler and basically replay ~2000 WWF.

  173. Kevin Dunn is a guy would should get a lot more blame for the sad state of the company.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Yes! I loved that look for Brock.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Kevin Dunn was the guy who sabotaged Paul Heyman's booking power over ECW on the very first episode and then blamed him for it sucking. Doesn't surprise me.

  176. It didn't work with his close cropped hair and lack of a beard.

  177. I'm okay with Dreamer or the Dudleys.

I'm not okay with anyone more than 2.

  178. so what is one ppv that a bunch of people love that you can't stand? (for me summerslam 2002)

    ReplyDelete
  179. I don't really care who doesn't want ECW there or why. I'm just glad they're not gonna drag ECW's corpse from the grave and make it dance for nickels again.

He's a piece of shit. The fact that guys from a third rate company will get a bigger pop than their current stars says a lot.

  181. There's no one with a more overestimated sense of his importance to the sport than Chavo Guerrero.

    ReplyDelete
  182. That would be cool except would probably invite 'Husky Harris' chants for the rest of his career

    ReplyDelete
  183. dudleys are good; plus I associate them more with wwe than tna or ecw

    ReplyDelete
  184. I think Rock being in it and getting eliminated by a heel after some fun interplay with other guys would be exciting and fun. It wouldn't hurt the Rock in the least and would add to the mystique of the Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  185. They should put Dennis Stamp in the Rumble for a surprise one shot deal.
    The IWC would implode.

  186. What about me? What about Raven?

    ReplyDelete
  187. I'd happily endure ten more years of Cena, Big Show, Kane, Orton and whatever other stale act they want to shove down our throats if it means Dunn is gone. I would HAPPILY take that trade.

    ReplyDelete
  188. They gave him some lame-o philanthropic aristocrat gimmick with a cheesy pop rap tune for his entrance music and that was pretty much the end for him.

    ReplyDelete
  189. I'd go with Lanny Poffo myself.
