Tonight we have NFL Playoff Football, NBA and NHL action along with College Basketball and boxing on Showtime between Bermane Stiverne and Deontay Wilder.
Perhaps I fail to see the problem. First off, I hadn't even been aware of the time prior to the posting. But, honestly, I wouldn't have been inclined to hold off from posting, anyway. I don't care if someone posts right after me, anywhere. People are either going to read it, or not. Is being at the top of the page REALLY a big deal here?
I favour impassioned arguments over vote spamming. Why vote multiple times against eg Pedro, when it's more fun to just write about how much more entertaining was The Mountie was?
I have no problem with someone posting over a daily thread, or even my review. I liked your review and thinks it better to see this than another Starrcade 97 review or something and had no problem with the timing of your post.
Its just that a lot of posts seemingly go up all at the same time and its tough to get discussions going. That is my point. I am not mad and certainly not mad at you.
I don't give a shit either way. It was cool to see the percentages but if it deflects spammers, go for it. I'd rather you just come up with a strict timeline for each section of voting and adhere to it (as closely as possible). There's no way the section group was open for as long as the first in the IC-tourney. I want to be able to vote!
Well I meant to mean that I'm more interested in WWF house shows than I am interested in WCW stuff. Wasn't meant to be a criticism of the reviewer. I rarely if ever read his reviews. And judging by the amount of comments he gets, not many people do.
There's a reason for that. He sells them too which I've always found odd. I would never pay for SOMEONES reviews of a show when there's like a thousand others doing the same thing in much the same way. You gotta bring the sizzle with the steak, something chris does well and scott kinda used to do okay.
My prediction for tonight's game:
ReplyDeleteThe FOX announcers remind us in between EVERY DOWN that the Cowboys are playing the Packers tomorrow.
MOtel Raphael are no Charles Prevost-Linton
ReplyDeleteI don't care which you choose. All I ask is that you use one or the other consistently throughout the course of a tournament.
ReplyDeleteRon Riviera already looks lost.
ReplyDeleteI voted no. The Mountie spam-fest was fun as a one-off but I would want that every time.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that the vote totals for this poll are visible, conflicts with my actual vote.

ReplyDeleteMore polls?
ReplyDeleteIs Scott Keith secretly Abeyance??
I turned off multiple votes for this one.
ReplyDeleteI'm going Inception on y'all.

ReplyDeleteDebating with rubes > spam

I really hope that Jacques Rougeau stumbles upon this thread while we're all rocking Mountie avatars. It'd be nice for him.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the Nazi Elmo warning people about the "International Jew"

ReplyDeleteMy fiancee just asked me what was so funny.
ReplyDelete"You see, there used to be this wrestling writer named... oh, fuck, never mind."
Ridiculous. Completely ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteAnd another 500 or so Edge & Christian/Hardy Boyz matches, before WWF put them in the ring with ladders & magic happened.
ReplyDeleteIts probably fixed like the Slammies poll was. Or I'll vote for spamming and get told I've voted for Roman Reigns.
ReplyDeleteAre there handbaskets big enough for where we're all headed?
ReplyDeleteI hope someone spams this poll
ReplyDeleteBOTH of them?
ReplyDeleteSunny sucking is a bad thing now? Really?
ReplyDeleteUnderstandable. I'll try and "schedule" posts in the future. That way it's clear when it's going to be posted.
ReplyDeleteTommy hall is a terribly bland reviewer. I dislike his reviews as well.

ReplyDeleteYeah only a fool would pay for wrestling recaps.
ReplyDeletehad that one printed off and saved in my PWI 500 issue that rated Deano Machino #1. Ahh good times.
