  1. Sick with the flu--anything good on tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  2. Holy Shit Low Ki on TNA

  3. Sexy Flexy Biff KensingtonJanuary 23, 2015 at 5:28 PM

Ever notice back in the mid-80's whenever the WWE would go to the Rosemont Horizon, the ring would explode after every move, and the ring bell there sounded different than anywhere else.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Awww Mongo vs Goldberg.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Feel like im watching 1992 WCW, can only see first 2 rows on TNA

    ReplyDelete
  6. RUmble 12, 1:06:30

    ReplyDelete
  7. I liked the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay when he first debuted. Way better than him becoming generic monster heel who is pushed for a month and then nothing. At least Brodus Funk was fun for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I firmly maintain they need to make Kevin Owens the new Funkasaurus.

    ReplyDelete
  9. What show was Stone Cold booked to lose to the Coach on?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Can't say the guy didn't commit to it that's for sure

    ReplyDelete
  11. Big Show just KILLED him.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Aghh. WWE network won't let me play any archived stuff Ffs. Just says 'video not working'

    ReplyDelete
  13. I wanna say Taboo Tuesday 2005

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yup. He left out of disgust with the JR angle once he realized they weren't planning on bringing him back any time soon

    ReplyDelete
  15. His debut still cracks me up. Tackles Curt Hawkins. "Mah Bad" Looks to the crowd "Should I get hym?"

    ReplyDelete
  16. That's weird, we're all watching stuff right now

    ReplyDelete
  17. It came so far out of the left field that you couldn't help but like it.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Exactly. I figured he was gonna be angry huge guy(and the videos led us to believe that) and then the disco ball shows up and he moonwalks out. It was awesome haha.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Punk-Ziggler! Their RAW match the night after Survivor Series was way better but this is solid too.

    ReplyDelete
  20. It took me forever to realize Cameron was the Melina vs. Alicia Fox chick.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Gonna have to stay late at work because our fucking system is deciding to not process my shit on the first try. Cue the bullshit chant

    ReplyDelete
  22. She should be barred from the business from that moment alone

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ziggler has no heat in this one. Good for him though, he's actually worked through it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. You know guys. There really are some cool bros around here. Enjoy your evenings.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Right around the time Big Johnny got fun.

    ReplyDelete
  26. That match was fantastic. I remember everybody on the blog buzzing about it for a while. Then like a week later they cut Ziggler's hair and made him look like Ted Dibiase Jr. for no reason. Or was that earlier?

    ReplyDelete
  27. What was the supposedly really good Melina/Fox match anyway? Months ago I went back through YouTube and watched like four - I think a Raw one was the best - but none of them were memorable.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I....hmmm..I think it may have been sometime after Mania.

That RAW match was sick. There was also a great Rhodes/Orton Smackdown Street Fight the same month.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Amazingly, that was Vince. He was supposed to be a generic monster and then Vince squashed it because he too thought that Clay should have something better. Then it got repackaged when Brodus got a rep for being really great around kids, so dancing gimmick it was, but that was better than the usual GRRR IM A MONSTER type of heel we get all the time

    ReplyDelete
  30. You too. A real bro's bro if there ever was.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It's hard to believe HHH was technically a face for six straight years.

    ReplyDelete
  32. And that he once had long hair.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Sounds like you're about to kill yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I can't believe he has short hair.

Kliq guys must have long hair!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Cut off sleeves! Tremendous.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Terrified of getting fired Big Johnny is the best Big Johnny.

    ReplyDelete
  37. There wasn't one. She just picked two Divas out of the air because she had no idea about the business, so of course WWE brings the first eliminated contestant to the majors.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That Performance Review had a dusty finish right? Taker interrupted?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thought it was quiet over on the other thread...

    ReplyDelete
  40. I was majorly disappointed by this match when it happened because the booking held it back from matching the RAW classic.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Big Johnny up in the Attitude Adjustment calm as a hindu cow is Best Johnny.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Babyface Triple H just never felt right removed from DX.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Nobody ever says this, but the worst thing about being a WWE star would have to be the Make-A-Wish, be-nice-to-the-fans bullshit you have to endure. That's the only reason I would never do it is that crap. I hate people, and I hate kids especially.

God forbid you make a star elusive and hard-to-approach, a la Jack Nicholson.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lol you didn't see James post the new thread?

    ReplyDelete
  45. He had just accepted it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That's the gig. And probably not the only reason you would never do this crap haha.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Old Warrior 08 HHH felt okay.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I would just leave a loop of Hacksaw Jim Diggan vs Nikolai Volkoff running so when I was finally found they would find it blaring on the tv.

    ReplyDelete
  49. No I have to keep refreshing to get all new posts. I only get like 1 in every 3.

    ReplyDelete
  50. PUNK!! I feel like this is the first Punk match I've seen since he split.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Make-A-Wish would legit suck.

Hey wanna meet some really sick kids? They don't have much time left but would love an autograph.

How can that not put you in a shitty mood after every damn time?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Cameron's a mediocre looking bitch too. Funny how they always ramble on about "respect for the business" yet she's on the payroll.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Good point. I liked when he was the grizzly veteran up to nefarious tricks in the match with Jeff Hardy at No Mercy

    ReplyDelete
  54. This might actually be the first match I've seen since he split, all the other Rumbles he was in the match.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I like the description of him in 08 as Old Warrior HHH. I agree. He was good in 08.

    ReplyDelete
  56. You'd be more benevolent if you had C4 go off once the police opened your apartment door.

    ReplyDelete
  57. She can't wrestle and Stone Cold took her apart for being a know-nothing...so why and fucking how does she have a gig? Sometimes, this company can go fuck itself with its decisions

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm pretty jazzed. It's been a while.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Sexy Flexy Biff KensingtonJanuary 23, 2015 at 5:45 PM

    Oh, wow, Elizabeth's boobs. Mmmmm...

    ReplyDelete
  60. What you all watching

    ReplyDelete
  61. What if one of those dying kids asked to see your dick as their wish? Pretty awkward. That's John Cena's life. WORD LIFE!

    ReplyDelete
  62. This was the time period where Punk could've taken a shit in the middle of the ring and I still would've given it ****

    ReplyDelete
  63. On the bright (?) side, it let us watch her try to pin Naomi face down.

"Count it, ref! ...COUNT IT!" "Count what!?"

    ReplyDelete
  64. Actually i got it wrong, it was Johnny in the Go To Sleep with his meme worthy facial expression.

    ReplyDelete
  65. It's funny that Ziggler at this show is basically where Ziggler has been SINCE this show. "He's poised to get to the next level"

    ReplyDelete
  66. Ah. Holed up at work

    ReplyDelete
  67. Sexy Flexy Biff KensingtonJanuary 23, 2015 at 5:46 PM

    The Wrestling Classic.

    ReplyDelete
  68. That's the Dolph Ziggler character. That and over the top bumping.

    ReplyDelete
  69. If that guy had deleted his twitter after this show he'd probably be in Seth's spot right now

    ReplyDelete
  70. Well without the meeting sick kids and being overly nice to shithead fans, the job is basically getting paid for road tripping around the States, travelling the world, working out and mostly wrestling NOT on television.

    That's a cool job.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Last week at work I was in back by the unloaders. "Cult.." came on their radio and I started marking out for Punk.

    ReplyDelete
  72. It's also a hard decision. Do I pull it out, or don't I?

    ReplyDelete
  73. She Jackie Gayda'd her way into the gig no question.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Nice little Flair strut from Dolph. I'm definitely watching their RAW match after this show.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think you have to. I mean, the kid is gonna be dead soon anyway. I wouldn't let them touch it, but hey. Take a gander. That's a grown man dick.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Little return hair slick from Punk. Damn I miss him.

    ReplyDelete
  77. The guy understood performance art.

    ReplyDelete
  78. 90s Lawler's corny jokes were funny because he'd deliver them with a level of flippant audacity that elevated the humor. Now he just lazily tosses shit out.

    ReplyDelete
  79. He's also telling many of the same jokes from the 90's.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Loving this match so far

    ReplyDelete
  81. I'm tellin' ya, something fucking happened to that dude when he left for most of 2001. He came back and slowly regressed as a colour commentator. If he wasn't Jerry Lawler, people would be like "who's the old unfunny cunt?"

    ReplyDelete
  82. I believe this is our last year of thin roster rumbles.

    ReplyDelete
  83. What a powerbomb.

    ReplyDelete
  84. The Kat broke him. The King died of a broken heart and penis.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I only recently realized that Dolph's first and second themes are almost exactly the same aside from the main chorus.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Beautiful looking

    ReplyDelete
  87. Cabbing it from OIA to the Coliseum Industrial district. Gonna hit a bar and grab some food. Can't wait to see the warriors play live.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Sounds fun who are they playing?

    ReplyDelete
  89. Nice man. I've only been to one Warriors game it was during the Believe Season.

    ReplyDelete
  90. God both stadiums here suck. Hopefully GS will get in the new building soon. Lame its gonna be in sf but oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Raiders Stadium is a dung heap.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Sac town. Hoping for a blowout!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Nice! Enjoy it man, GS right now is fucking crazy

    ReplyDelete
  94. O.co fucking blows. Oracle isn't much better.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Best case scenario: Cousins punches an announcer again.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Holy shit I'm beat. Gimme some pizza and fancy soda STAT.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Literally the worst stadium on the continent, I've been to Kansas City I can say this with certainty.

    ReplyDelete
  98. And then his heart broke... literally.

    Too soon?

    ReplyDelete
  99. You are living my dream. The two bucket list teams for me to see play in their home stadiums are Golden State and the Mariners.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Art you live in Oakland right? What's a good place by oracle? Me and my friend are thinking either steaks or maybe just start drinking.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Do Cole & Booker T know what "vintage" means?

    ReplyDelete
  102. What if WWE did something out of nowhere and had Cesaro toss Reigns to win the Rumble?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Definitely. Both are junk. You're in my yard so I hope you enjoy your stay and everybody treats you right. Go Warriors!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Lol Big Johnnys not malicious. He's just incompetent.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I'm hoping to go a few more times this year. It just sucks I gotta fly up but this is a special, once in a life, season.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Philly would own their soul to Cesaro.

    ReplyDelete
  107. "Hey Michael, I just finished making this wine three months ago..."
    "VINTAGE WINE!!"
    "No, actua-- never mind."

    ReplyDelete
  108. What's that, admitted rapist?

    ReplyDelete
  109. If cousins punches Jim Barnett I'll rush the court!!

    ReplyDelete
  110. I'm watching 1997 WWF for the first time in my life today. I watched the first two Raws earlier and I'm watching the Rumble now. The HHH promo to start the show was eerily prescient. At one point, he says, "I believe I am the greatest man alive."

    ReplyDelete
  111. Prediction: WM31 will kinda suck/be fairly sucky, but WM32 will be a monster event for the big stadium.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Splash city baby!!!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Not soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Even numbered WMs tend to better.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Not quite in Oakland but close. There's a Chicken and Waffles joint in Jack London Square I dig and there are a number of restaurants in that area. As for bars I'm the wrong guy to ask but I'm sure there are a number of Liquor Stores that serve your needs haha.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Lmfao Big Johnny!

    ReplyDelete
  117. Good match. Can't touch their RAW match though. That's the gold standard.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Yeah I'll need to check this out, you can tell they're capable of so much more but this got all booking crazy

    ReplyDelete
  119. Time for the most divisive rumble in blog history.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I guess we'll just hop out at the arena and scope it out.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I don't even remeber who wins this but I'll be curious to know why later after it's over hah

    ReplyDelete
  122. The match is from 11 21 11 RAW. Night after SS. They go 20 minutes balls out with no BS booking.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Haha I'm definitely one of the few who ranks it Top 5.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Then when Batista was swapped in, they added Vader and Goldust, and out of spite Batista went over...then JR still wasn't brought back.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Then why do we say, "Hail Satan?"

    ReplyDelete
  126. I don't think it's likely... at all... but I wouldn't rule out them having Big Show win the Rumble, then have the title shot be on the line at Fast Lane against Reigns.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Your Demerol is an advantage for this one. I personally love this one.

    ReplyDelete
  128. > 74. Pat Patterson had a special "relationship" with Jacques Rougeau in the 80's.

This Angelfire Wrestling Sleaze page is always worth a laugh

    ReplyDelete
  129. It was the only one people disagreed about in the other thread.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Are the 1997 RAWs up on the Network finally?

    ReplyDelete
  131. Because I shall be.

    ReplyDelete
  132. The Mountie ALWAYS gets his man.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Well, I'd rather BOTH be good.

    ReplyDelete
  134. That was sad Vader falling on his ass wasn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  135. No. I was watching them on that watchwrestling.ch webpage. I wish they were on the Network; it would be much nicer.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I love this one too but I totally can understand why some don't like it.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Just so many fat guys.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Nice little day over here in your neck of the woods art and dbsm. I always remember this place with much worse weather than it has. Probably because we moved after I finished 4th grade.

    ReplyDelete
  139. I know the numbers keep changing, but this numbers video seems the same every year.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Yeah, good point. I'm just going to root for Reigns so I won't be disappointed. I don't know if I'm glass half full or glass half empty.

    ReplyDelete
  141. The only Pizza Hut in my area will take an hour to get here. Fuck. Ah well, at least the Rumble'll pass the time.

    ReplyDelete
  142. I love the weather man. It's usually always in a sweet spot where there's always at least a breeze. Wouldn't trade this weather for anything.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I really feel bad for people who don't have good local pizza.

    ReplyDelete
  144. It's extremely sad. That anyone HAS to wait for a Pizza Hut breaks my heart.

    ReplyDelete
  145. There are other places around, but I'm a picky fuck and have a craving for the cheesesticks above all.

    ReplyDelete
  146. The HHH inclusion is new.

    ReplyDelete
  147. That is the lamest sign ever.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Clown in a Nexus shirt. Odd.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Did anybody tap out from watching last year's PPVs, and at what point?

I thought WWE, despite all its problems, had a decent run of shows from WM30 until Lesnar/Cena at NOC, but then I lost all interest after that.

I'll watch this upcoming Rumble, MAYBE the PPV in between... ugh, how abysmal it's gotten.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I've watched them all basically, way more wrestling in my life with The Network.

    ReplyDelete
  151. I watched all the shows last year. 2013 I quit after Summerslam and didn't watch another show until the 2014 Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Watched them all. Gave up on Raw a couple months back.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Miz is sporting an egregious spray tan.

    ReplyDelete
  154. As an anti-social introvert, I miss smackdown on fridays as background noise

    ReplyDelete
  155. Riley says "Going to WrestleMania huh?!" Yeah. To set up the ring you bum.

    ReplyDelete
  156. PPV's themselves have been decent-good. It blows my mind that people somehow still watch RAW weekly. I cannot fathom doing that.

    ReplyDelete
  157. The night after SummerSlam was a turning point for me, as I felt they dropped the ball, and got increasingly worse with each passing week.

    ReplyDelete
  158. This is like the last hurrah for Miz as an uppercarder.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I gave up when Rock bear Punk even though I knew it would happen. I was for sure out when Orton cashed in on Bryan after Bryan beat CENA at Summer Slam. Loved Mania when Bryan finally won. Stopped caring once he got hurt. Haven't really cared about any PPV's since then. Watched Survivor Series with the network. Not sure I'll even watch the Rumble live this year.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Sexy Flexy Biff KensingtonJanuary 23, 2015 at 6:13 PM

Missy Hyatt was like the antithesis of Miss Elizabeth back in the day. Dirty dirty girl...

    ReplyDelete
  161. Florida georgia line was the end for me.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I already like the booking of Miz entering #1 and immediately being faced by scored ex-tag partners.

    ReplyDelete
  163. What the fuck was that supposed to be?

    ReplyDelete
  164. Still find it frigging weird she wrote to Scott denying she's a nazi

    ReplyDelete
  165. WWE.com's all time 30 Royal Rumble competitors:
    30) Diesel
    29) Mick Foley
    28) John Studd
    27) Kofi Kingston
    26) Brock Lesnar
    25) Jim Duggan
    24) CM Punk
    23) Sheamus
    22) Roman Reigns
    21) Yokozuna
    20) Lex Luger
    19) The Rock
    18) Chris Jericho
    17) Rikishi
    16) Million Dollar Man
    15) British Bulldog
    14) Ric Flair
    13) Bret Hart
    12) Big Show
    11) Edge
    10) Rey Mysterio
    9) Randy Orton
    8) Undertaker
    7) Batista
    6) John Cena
    5) Kane
    4) Hulk Hogan
    3) HHH
    2) Steve Austin
    1) Shawn Michaels

Who wins that match? Who's missing? (Besides Benoit, obviously)

    ReplyDelete
  166. Yes. Cody teaming up with Miz like a good heel.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Cavs are up 24 on Charlotte with 7 mins left in the 2nd Quarter. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  168. I miss Jackass Cody pointing at the sign.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Miz creeping up on Cody like a jackal literally seconds into their partnership was funny.

    ReplyDelete
  170. MikeyMike, JuggernautJanuary 23, 2015 at 6:17 PM

The place that was voted best pizza in Cleveland is right down the street from me. It's terrific.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Actually thinking more about it, they've really been going down since WrestleMania. The follow-up to Brian's title win was weak, then the injury messed everything up. The PPVs were still strong through SummerSlam though. NOC was where they started matching the ever-weakening TV.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Austin won the damn thing 3 times. He has to be #1

    ReplyDelete
  173. Thin roster. This exactly the time to do this kind of Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Miz was great as a character for like a year and a half.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Oh jesus, Mick is limping out looking...very bad

Still over as fuck though of course

    ReplyDelete
  176. MikeyMike, JuggernautJanuary 23, 2015 at 6:19 PM

Awesome. Sure Charlotte sucks but it's great to see them playing like a team again. Without LeBron it felt like the last four years all over again.

    ReplyDelete
  177. This leads to my personal favorite Rumble spot haha.

    ReplyDelete
  178. LeBron got his HGH when he was down in Miami lol. He's been a completely different player since he returned.

    ReplyDelete
  179. MikeyMike, JuggernautJanuary 23, 2015 at 6:21 PM

He's gotten bigger since he came back from the injury.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Yikes, dude is taking the Erick Rowan stride to the ring.

    ReplyDelete
  181. I watched about the same. I don't think I made it to NOC, though. I think I quit once Bryan got hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  182. I fucking love Ricardo's shitbox!

    ReplyDelete
  183. HAHA I forgot Ricardo coming out in a piece of shit car in his Del Rio-lite ring gear.

    ReplyDelete
  184. LOL

A '76 Datsun, Ricardo was goddamn awesome

    ReplyDelete
  185. Personalized license plate!

    ReplyDelete
  186. "Wish he would've bang bang'd himself."

Ooh, considering all of Mick's concussions, that could be a really ugly hindsight line.

    ReplyDelete
