  1. Ordered a pizza and I'm spending my night going through a big chunk of 1989 on the network. Starting with the Megapowers exploding on The Main Event.

  2. The Cavaliers need to get rid of Blatt already. It's embarrassing.

  3. Big Boss Man needs to be in the HoF. He is definitely one of the most underrated guys of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Savage is in this year, I can't see another dead guy from the hulkamania era getting in.
I agree he's definitely good enough though.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I could agree with this. Hell, they could do a whole "big man" class, with him, Tenta, Typhoon, Bam Bam (if he isn't in already) and Akeem/OMG.

  6. Posted this earlier, not sure if it showed up:

  7. John Tenta I agree with but is Fred Ottman (Typhoon) really HOF worthy?

  8. Boyhood should win best picture.

  9. One half of the Tag champs, is tight with Hogan. What more do you need? I mean, it's not like there's really a bar. He's also part of a pretty famous flub that will live in infamy. Decent guy, too, from what I've heard.

I loved the American Sniper poster.

  11. "John Wick should win best picture"

    I agree.

  12. I want to watch Smackdown in the hopes of getting a Roman Reigns promo.

Excellent action film, Keanu actually shows emotion in that one.

  14. One of the rumours floating about is that Rene Goulet is being considered for the HOF this year, as one of the earliest wrestling stars who is still alive and thus can do the ceremony this makes perfect sense to me.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Guess that Heath Slater can plan on getting inducted in 2046

  16. He was a midcarder for a couple of years, he didn't have any big single feuds, He had a run as half of a middling tag team, that held the belts for a while. He then flopped massively as a singles guy after that.

I don't doubt he's a nice guy, but he hasn't done anything to me to warrant being in the HOF.

  17. So...horror movies are now fixated on "creepy dolls". Thanks, Conjuring. Because we needed more quick-cuts, jump scares and slow pans over doll faces. That, and found-footage movies can go fuck right off. Wyrmwood, however....more like that, please.

  18. So the #BlackLivesMatters folks who plan on shutting down BART on Market St are bringing metal spoons. No idea what they're for but if they chuck them on the tracks and shut it down long past they're gone, commuters are gonna be FUCKED. Hopefully that's not the case and it's over and done with in a matter of hours like last time so I can get to work in the afternoon

  19. Once again NXT trains tonight, some good shit so far. Next special is Wed Feb 11th.

    Any good matches?

  21. You mean a bunch of All Stars and veterans are not respecting the coach that wasn't meant to coach them IM SHOCKED

  22. "Rape Zombie" #'s 1,2, and 3 are now on Netflix (Under the title "Lust of the Dead"). I love me some Tokyo Shock, but rape is one of those things that really...I don't know...it's one of those things that adds gravitas and a serious nature to a film. It's not really supposed to be featured in splatstick films like these. I loved Machine Girl, I really liked Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl...but these...NO.

  23. Haven't seen it yet, but it looked decent.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes indeed, having a #1 contenders tournament (wonder if they've been watching the BOD tournaments.)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Rape in a horror movie just doesn't work. It even works better in a comedy movie than a horror movie.

    ReplyDelete
  26. You should. Definitely an innovative horror flick.

    ReplyDelete
  27. not sure what Dan Gilbert is trying to prove by sticking with him.

    ReplyDelete
  28. These movies...I don't know if it's just because I've been reading about it happening so much in the news, or because I'm more aware that it happens so often, but the idea of women being gang-raped as a central plot device in a z-level horror movie is just too much. It's over the line, man.

  29. Me and my friend are currently discussing throwing a Rick Rude party where everyone would look like Rick Rude from different eras. Currently we have: 80's Rude, Slicked back main event Rude, WCW Rude, Clean shaved Rude, Masked Christmas sweater ECW Rude, DX Rude, nWo Rude, and Zombie Rude.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'll check it out. I heard someone compare it to "Sinister", and I was sort of turned off by that, as I didn't much care for "Sinister".

    ReplyDelete
  31. You and your fellow commuters should stop killing black people...?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yeah I'm not really for using rape if it's not going to give it the gravity it deserves. That's why I Spit On Your Grave is a pretty vile movie.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm leaning towards picking ECW Rude because it would look so ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Very over part of the Hulkamania era, well know in the mainstream and one of the few black guys to get over during that period. Despite the jokes Koko B Ware may not be a first ballot HOFer but he still deserves to get in to the HOF.

    ReplyDelete
  35. More like the po-po; one of their demands for tomorrow is the disbanding of the BART police.

    ReplyDelete
  36. He's not in? The hell, he should've been ages ago

    ReplyDelete
  37. So are you and your friends ever planning on losing your virginities?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm drunk enough to admit my earlier meltdown was uncalled for. It's ok if people post pictures of trolls to your posts. Some people just don't have joy in their heart.

    ReplyDelete
  39. No I understand, it just amuses me when protestors stop random things for no reason.

Do the BART police kill a lot of black people?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yeah, and the remake (and TWO...I think...sequels) are that much WORSE because they cheapen it, whereas the original at least was done in a gritty, vile, grotesque way. The remake took that and turned it into freakin' HOSTEL: Rape Edition.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Halloween Phantom Rude added to the list! Can't believe we forgot that one.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Whole lot of mustaches. Broom sweepers everywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh yeah. Like one a day. It's getting annoying having to step over their bodies to get to the train.

    ReplyDelete
  44. You Becker believe it. (Ted Danson)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Like most of your stuff, I have no clue what this is in reference to.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Holy crap, just listened to Glen Campbell's Oscar nominated song. That is freaking heart breaking.

    ReplyDelete
  47. It's like a dead person for every piece of crap I have to step over in the terminals (literal pieces of crap btw)

    ReplyDelete
  48. How much does being a wrestling fan suck for you if you equate it to nerd virgin?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sometimes I can't tell if they're sleeping homeless people or murdered black people. Either way, it's getting tiresome having to step over them!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh, don't get me wrong, I like Koko and always found him to be entertaining. I just think that if a case can be made for him, though, a case can be made for virtually anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Da da de da da do ba dob a do.

    >Hello I'm Rene Goulet Da da de da da do. I know one thing we all can agree on, when a professional gets his boots in the ring that's when it really takes off. That's why I've gone out and done the wrestling world a frickin' service, and cut this promo. It's called The Patterson Bangers Ball. Ha Ha Ha A little inside I know. Anyway what you get is one full hour of rip roarin' wrassling action. Not by some dubious ruffians without the chops, but by a professionally trained grappling man.

  53. And I think if you want to get people behind your crusade, keeping thousands of people away from work, school, family, and flights will do just that

  54. In today's Daily Update, Parallax responded to a Danimal post with a picture of one of those little Troll dolls. He also responded to a different post with a remark about Danimal collecting tolls at bridges.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Was it from the Rock a Doodle soundtrack?

    ReplyDelete
  56. most wrestling fans don't plan to put together a party full of their friends wearing nothing but different versions of the same fancy dress costumes.
I'm not sure what kind of person does that but their designation is far more specific than Wrestling Fan.

  57. There was a Cracked image contest of how one typo ruins a great movie, and one of the entries was The Flair Witch Project.

I want someone to edit that movie to include WOOOOs every so often.

    ReplyDelete
  58. That remark about the tolls at bridges really stung. Totally uncalled for.

  63. Don't knock nerd culture.

I once scored with a tall blonde while wearing a "It's a me, Mario" shirt on. Kept it on the entire time during sex to.

  64. Hey Marv, you give up on Rumble-thin yet? I understand if 06 broke your spirit.

  65. Watching SD until Bryan's stuff is done. HE'S ON THE TV RIGHT NOW OMG

    ReplyDelete
  66. Funny. It's about how he had Alzheimer's, and won't remember anything, including his wife, very soon. Apparently it's the last thing he wrote.
