  1. Went with Nirvana and Metallica.

  2. Cena vs Orton,one more timeFebruary 16, 2015 at 7:39 AM

Oz in hall of fame or we riot.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Back home and back in action on the Network. Watching the Main Event III. Buster Douglas! Have never seen this Macho/Hogan match but this event would've felt much bigger had Tyson not been KO'D.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Shocked Jeremy lost out to Losing my Religion.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Eddie Edwards broke his heel. I don't think he's hospitalized though. He just went to the hospital and got checked out. He broke it doing a backflip off of the apron and landing on his feet.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Watched Clash 20 earlier. We were so close to an WWF vs WCW 80s dream match. You had Ross(WCW guy) and Jesse(WWF guy) calling the action. Team WCW(Sting/Nikita/Steiners) vs Team WWF(Rude/Roberts/Hercules/.....uh Vader)

Vader ruins it. If only someone like Greg Valentine was in his spot instead.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Throw Sherri the hell out of there Buster!

I love that no matter who does it they always make sure to load up before doing a dramatic "you're outta here!" Gesture.

    ReplyDelete
  8. A broken heel will keep you out for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yo, you see my clutch 2 point win in the BoD Fantasy Hockey League? Over the 3-15 team!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. The only time you'll hear anyone pine for Valentine over Vader.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yeah he's probably done for at least 4-6 months.

    ReplyDelete
  12. By the time they start taping again, he will be healed.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I squeaked out a 1.4 point win over an 8-9 team.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Not a bad count from Buster Douglas there. Better than Tyson's Mach speed Mania count.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I would have lost if I didn't pick up Emery earlier yesterday. You should let me create next year's league. I did a league this year that was super deep an fun. You start 4 C, 4 RW, 4 LW, 6 D, UTL, and 2 goalies. The scoring is deep as fuck, you get a point for a faceoff win and -1 for a loss, a bunch of other stuff.

Usually the point totals at the end of the week are around the 500-700 range.

"Kevin Nash is still being discussed for the Hall of Fame this year. No word on whether or not he will go in as Nash or as Diesel, but he'll go in as Diesel."

    There ya go.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Haha Savage is in his glory in this post match showdown with Buster Douglas but Shawn took a better punch and Tyson threw a better one too.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Matt_INDEED_Was_Bayless'd!February 16, 2015 at 7:52 AM

HONK! HONKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS HALL OF FAME IS RUNNIN' ON DIESEL POWER!

    HEREWEGO!!!!!!!!!!!!! UN-BEE-LIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. My friend did one I am in you get 0.2 per SOG among other things. But yeah, I will take some of that into consideration next year, along with some IR spots.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Given how “professional” HBK was being
around that time, I’m glad he didn’t decide to pop his shoulder up right after
that LUDICROUS 3 count from Tyson.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Matt_INDEED_Was_Bayless'd!February 16, 2015 at 7:53 AM

I'm kind of shocked Shawn didn't scream to the hills that it was a fast count to de-legitimize Austin's win. Maybe Shawn was too high at the time to cut Austin's balls off.

    ReplyDelete
  22. TNA doing as many shows that they can in a week will probably lead to more injuries.

But first with Davey breaking his leg and now Eddie, sucks for the Wolves.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Matt_INDEED_Was_Bayless'd!February 16, 2015 at 7:54 AM

We were thinking of similar things.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I really didn't care for Nirvana at the time. I can listen to their Unplugged album once in a while, but I never got the band.

I can't believe that a Foo Fighters song that I don't even really know has gotten this far. I was there in the 90s.

    ReplyDelete
  25. You know Cesaro is buried when his (admittedly lame) twitter hack doesn't even make the NEWZ

    ReplyDelete
  26. I can't believe this damned tournament is still going. Feels like the tournament itself started in the 90's.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Matt_INDEED_Was_Bayless'd!February 16, 2015 at 7:56 AM

Everlong is perhaps the finest 3:30 rock song of the last 30 years, so I can buy it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. This is why Shawn won't go down as the greatest politician of all time. You know if Hogan was in the same sitiation, he would have paid Tyson to make a fast count.

    ReplyDelete
  29. He was also off TV immediately so didn't have much of a platform to do so. Ventura would have had a field day with it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I wish he had so taker would give him the promised beatdown.

    ReplyDelete
  31. If Shawn didn't retire after WM14, I always wonder if Austin/Rock would have been as big as they were because I can't imagine Shawn taking a backseat for them.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The scoring system is:

    Goals: 3 points

    +/-: 1 point

    Power Play Assists: 2 points

    Short Handed Assists: 2 points

    Faceoffs won: 1 point

    Hat Tricks: 5 points

    Hits: 1 point

    Assists: 2 points

    Power Play Goals: 3 points

    Short Handed Goals: 3 points

    Game Winning Goals: 5 points

    Faceoffs Lost: -1 point

    Shots on Goal: 1 point

    Blocked Shots: 1 point

    Wins: 3 points

    Saves: 1 point

    Goals Against: -1 point

    Shutouts: 5 points

It leads to weird shit like Martin Hanzel being a better option for your team than Sidney Crosby.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It will. It actually was the number 5 trend at one point.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It's ok I guess. I dunno about finest anything. It is what it is. I listened to it the other day, didn't hate it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Taker was probably all talk. Did Taker ever get involved in a backstage fight?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think if Shawn had continued to be a prick, and WWF had already started to turn around with Austin, Vince might have just released him. Even Vince has a breaking point, and if he felt he didn't need him as much as he used to , see ya.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Theberzerker Von HUSSingtonFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:02 AM

Rock's "BIG DADDY COOL! HERNK HERRRRNK!" was one of the greatest things he ever did.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Those lyrics man. Them feels.

    ReplyDelete
  39. PushCesaro is definitely less newsworthy than celebrity penis.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't think Shawn had too much of a choice in the matter. Austin was too hot to stop. Maybe he could've tried to block Rock but Rock was getting too hot too. I don't think Shawn stops those trains.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Currently on the Network live feed is a match between Prototype (Cena) and Leviathan (Batista) from OVW.

What a great idea for regular programming that would be. Matches in the developmental leagues through the years featuring guys who went on to make it big.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Someone on YouTube does a mini series on that. Whatever year Vince discovers YouTube is when they'll start that.

    ReplyDelete
  43. HE TAPED UP HIS FISTS

    ReplyDelete
  44. 640 songs man. Will be done this week, the last few rounds have moved fast.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think he would've finally ended up in WCW.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I saw it trending on Twitter and looked to find news about it elsewhere... NOTHING.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Vote Grohl! Vote Stipe!

    ReplyDelete
  48. That whole promo was so amazing that it doesn't even upset me that he completely buried the nWo on their first night back

    ReplyDelete
  49. "Unplugged" is the only Nirvana album I can stand to listen to now that I haven't been a teenager for almost 20 years.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Kevin Nash in the Hall while another vanilla midget gets injured. Oz is smiling.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Why no news update that Josh Mathews likes to play with dolls? http://i.ytimg.com/vi/zXAoKRe9aZA/hqdefault.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  52. I do not understand this new TNA thing of the announcers sometimes appearing in some broom cupboard, with no explanation.

    ReplyDelete
  53. HE'S THE BEST PURE STRIKER IN THE BUSINESS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. IN THE PINES
    IN THE PIIIIIINES
WHERE THE SUN DON'T EVER SHIIIIINE

    ReplyDelete
  55. Common sense dictates that, but this is Vince we're talking about. The same guy that would prefer to bury new hot talent in order to pacify the old guard.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Fuck, my copy of TEW is fucked up. Keep getting this weird error message.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Where do bad folks go when they DIE!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Plus the room looks mighty cold. Dixie can't pay the heating bill yet somehow thought she could pay Alberto $400k a year.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Anxiously awaiting my phone interview for the New York job. Hurry up and call, assholes!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Are you trying to make Paige vs Paige with Paige as ref?

    ReplyDelete
  61. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:37 AM

Do you guys think that Hulk Hogan and Triple H get along? Im my mind I like to think they are BFF's.

  62. The Knicks bought out Amar'e Stoudemire's contract

    http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasybasketball/update/25070348/report-amare-stoudemire-done-with-the-knicks

    ReplyDelete
  63. Word always was that HHH was far more resistant to ever bringing Hogan back than Vince was. Hunter thought that Hogan was totally unprofessional in the ways he left in the early 00s.

    ReplyDelete
  64. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:38 AM

In other news the sun rose this morning

    ReplyDelete
  65. Next time put up 320 songs at a time and we'll do it over a long weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  66. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:40 AM

Can we all be honest for a second and just admit that Triple H knows what he's doing?

    ReplyDelete
  67. The boss's daughter?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Well, I guessed 3 out of 4. But fucking Everlong? Really? Really??

    ReplyDelete
  69. Ha, yeah it was tough because being our first one we just weren't sure how to roll it out.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Danimal's Dangerous Daily Update is up over at

    www.danimalcrossing.com

Later this afternoon a new Lucha Underground review will be posted. Who knows what other surprises will pop up throughout the day. It's Monday. Let's have some fun!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Whatever you did to Meekin to make him stay on topic and not upset everyone at home by oversharing personal info, good job. His column, though not a subject that interests me, was *not* a trainwreck.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I doubt it. He has such a chub for Flair that I can't see it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:45 AM

Yeah that guy. The one that produced NXT or whatever it was that you marks are raving about. Besides The Undertaker approved of the Stephanie/Hunter relationship. You really want to go against THE UNDERTAKER?

    ReplyDelete
  74. I'm very excited to partner up with Meekin and feel he will be an entertaining and thought provoking content provider.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I really hope that last part was a joke but sadly I'm not sure.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I suppose provoking thoughts of bodily harm and/or alcohol consumption counts.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Alright buddy. We is only having fun! I like HHH the backstage guy.

    ReplyDelete
  78. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:48 AM

Wrestling should be fun bro ;)

    ReplyDelete
  79. Sure! I'm hopeful for a 50 Shades of Grey Meekin review going up some time this week. We're just having a good time.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Anyone here prefer ABC's Fridays to Saturday Night Live? I don't, I'm just curious to see if anyone here does.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Now that may be one for the ages. Meekin on sex. Remember to put a Trigger Warning at the start.

    ReplyDelete
  82. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:48 AM

yeah but even Hogan and Flair kissed and made up

    ReplyDelete
  83. This crowd spends the entire PPV chanting "We Want Flair". Over a year after he already left.

    ReplyDelete
  84. 4 bros by bros.

    www.danimalcrossing.com

    ReplyDelete
  85. I feel the same way, and I've always wondered how much of that is owed to the fact that so much of the album are covers of better bands and musicians. Man Who Sold The World is Bowie, and that's the song that really broke as a radio single.

    ReplyDelete
  86. That's what she said.

    ReplyDelete
  87. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:50 AM

I prefer Friday Night Lights but maybe thats just me.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I'd like to see more of it but it's good from what I've seen. I find SNL to be the most obnoxiously overrated entertainment institution in American history.

    ReplyDelete
  89. We're having a good time!

    ReplyDelete
  90. What computer you got? Same thing happened with me, so I put it on my new computer and it works.

    ReplyDelete
  91. RAW: Considering I've stayed out of touch for the last week, my interest is somewhere between "zero" and "virtually zero".
    Nash: Deserving, yes.
Edwards: "Injury prone" is never a good self-description.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Are we, are we talking about the same show? ABC'S version of SNL called Friday's from the 80's?

    ReplyDelete
  93. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:54 AM

The day i take wrestling seriously is the day I want you to shoot me

    ReplyDelete
  94. Vinnie Vegas is laying odds on how many snarky references Nash makes during his induction speech.

Over/Under is currently at 9.5, trending up.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Talking about SNL makes me remember that The Rock hosting the show was a pretty important moment for WWE. It gave WWE its largest amount of positive national exposure since the Rock and Wrestling days. It was also the beginning of The Rock's ascension to his movie career.

    ReplyDelete
  96. YankeesHoganTripleHFanFebruary 16, 2015 at 8:58 AM

We are not. Google Friday Night Lights. And prepare to be blown away.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Why does he have to go in as Nash OR Diesel? Why not just Kevin Nash, all encompassing?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Big Show almost stole the show. He was hilarious that night.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I've seen the movie and the show. Both great, although I prefer the movie even though it glosses over the crazy racism from the book.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I'll hand it to Big Show...he has good comedic timing.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Let's guess Cesaro's password http://i.imgur.com/CYvMP8W.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  102. I'm honestly surprised he didn't get more work in Hollywood because of that appearance.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Shit, I'm an idiot. It's 123451, of course.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I'd like to take this moment to give props to WrestleMania 6. Not the greatest WrestleMania but my personal favorite of the first 9 WrestleManias.

Best Main Event until Austin/Rock II.
Jake/Dibiase has always been a favorite of mine.
    Demolition winning the tag titles.
    Hart's squashing Bolsheviks.
    Great atmosphere.
    Ring Carts!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Because Nash didn't accomplish that much outside the Diesel era. The nWo was more of a group effort and he never did that much as a singles guy that was HoF worthy. Same with Hall too.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Be careful what you hand to him, he may break it in those frying pan hands of his.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Someone is being obnoxious today.

    ReplyDelete
  108. The speed with which you tore through the 80s has been exceptional. I have NEARLY completed 1985.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I'm more curious than if the RAW rating stays in the tank than this actual episode of RAW. In fact, I doubt I'll watch much of it. Too much good stuff on weekly at this point to punish myself with bad RAWs. Watching NXT on Wednesdays, Lucha Underground DVR'd on Thursdays and NJPW on AXS over the weekend.

More than enough good stuff to watch at this point. Can stomach a three hour RAW in addition to that anymore unless it's really good.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Those SNME just breezed by. It also helps that I didn't watch the entire Mania 2 or 5 cards because Id seen them enough so I just picked certain matches.

Very enjoyable run through the 80's! Bring on the 90's!

    ReplyDelete
  111. I guess, but inducting the character instead of the actual person seems like a weird decision. Especially since Nash hasn't been Diesel for years, outside of Rumble 11.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I miss the ring carts. But I learned that they were made specifically to help Andre get to and from the ring. Not sure how much truth is behind that, but it makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Sorry if you don't approve of my love for Mania 6. But I don't give a damn!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Noooooooooooope. nWo wasn't just "a group thing". Nash>Diesel alllllllll day long.

    ReplyDelete
  115. That's the stupidest combination I've ever heard of in my life! That's the kinda thing an idiot would have on his luggage!

    ReplyDelete
  116. It took the Place To Be Nation Greatest Song Competition 9 months to get through the 90s. Can you beat this time!

    ReplyDelete
  117. I say he goes in as Diesel this year and Nash next year. That will clear room for future inductions of Oz and the Master Blasters.

    ReplyDelete
  118. nWo was Nash, Hall and Hogan. Without one of those three it doesn't exist. His first two appearances in WCW brought more buzz and excitement to the business than anything he did as Diesel.

    ReplyDelete
  119. The game works, but I when I hit next day it says I need to contact the game creater and quote some error message like T134Ex667 or something like and it automatically closes the game.

    ReplyDelete
  120. With that logic, they could induct Brutus Beefcake every year for the next fifteen years.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Kevin Nash? Omg thought he was dead lol

    ReplyDelete
  122. I think his involvement in the nWo should be celebrated, but it shouldn't be Nash, it should be nWo being inducted as a group.

    ReplyDelete
  123. HA! I'll finish with the 2010's by the time Enter Sandman wins.

But I'm stopping with 96 because I've seen all the PPVS from 1997-2009 with minor exceptions here and there.

After I finish WWF through 96 I'll probably pick up on WCW clashes and PPV I left off with 1989. I'll definitely go slower though because I'm a total WWF Mark so those NWA shows don't breeze by as fast.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Never really cared for watching SNL unless there was a host or musical guest I had to see. But absolutely loved the "Live from New York" book.

    ReplyDelete
  125. And for that one night, Nash drew more heat as Diesel than he did for the last 10 years being Kevin Nash.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I still think he goes in as Diesel and then we get Hall, Nash and Hogan as the nWo at some point too.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I won't accept that unless every single member is inducted.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Wow that's pretty random. If the game was created by Vince McMahon then I would say that the game is incurring an error because you're pushing Daniel Bryan too much.

    ReplyDelete
  129. That's fine but you're wrong when you say he didn't accomplish much outside of the Diesel era. He was the integral part of the biggest boom in the business. No one was watching the nWo to see VK Wallstreet/Scott Norton tag matches.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Honest question: Does Virgil belong in the Hall of Fame? This is, mind you, removing the idea of the sad table shyster we see him as today.

    ReplyDelete
  131. No, I don't think so. But if Koko B. Ware is in, they've basically cleared the way for everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  132. For his impact with the WWE, yes, more so than Koko B Ware.

    ReplyDelete
  133. It seems we had the same thought. It all comes back to Koko.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Who is the better barometer for the Hall of Fame? Koko B Ware or Drew Carey?

    ReplyDelete
  135. I know Nash was important to the nWo and he was the guy that made it 'cool' but at the same time, Nash was never in a position to draw money because it was always Hogan being in the main events and being world champion while Nash was dicking around in the midcard as tag team champion.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I was thinking nWo next year for the 20th anniversary. Not sure if it looks good if he goes in this year and next year.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Yes, but still, Kevin Nash was a pretty important guy. He ended Goldberg's undefeated streak and gained massive heat jumping to WCW. Not to mention the fact that he's been Kevin Nash longer than he was Diesel.
It just seems stupid to ignore that and just induct the Diesel character.

    ReplyDelete
  138. None of his gimmicks deserve it other than Beefcake right?

    ReplyDelete
  139. Only if he brings the table and is inducted as Lonely Virgil.

    ReplyDelete
  140. And change the combination on my luggage.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Like I need a reason to post this https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/af/dd/16/afdd16ad2a648a70f495c150f2d2dbb5.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  142. Clearly they are just putting Nash in so that Punk will show up to induct him.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Blame the E. Last year they did Razor. This year they are doing Rikishi.

    ReplyDelete
  144. God, those ABS

    ReplyDelete
  145. I think you mean Shane belongs in!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Virgil has a more memorable peak in WWF than Koko. He had a legitimate, prominent storyline with DiBiase and the Million Dollar Belt.

People kind of forget how over he was too. He was getting legit pops for well over a year after that DiBiase feud despite going back to jobber status immediately.

But if it's a HOF based on merit, neither guy really deserves to be in it.

    ReplyDelete
  147. It would be funny to see if certain egos could accept Nash being inducted in consecutive years. Immediately after that we would get the inductions of HHH, Terra Ryzin and Jean-Paul Levesque, maybe in the same year.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Um, hello.....Booty Man????

    ReplyDelete
  149. rewatched this ep just a couple weeks ago and it still holds up.

    ReplyDelete
  150. His 360 sell is HoF worthy http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/7-08-2014/uICyVS.gif

    ReplyDelete
  151. NWO Sting or GTFO!

    ReplyDelete
  152. Kevin Nash is a hall of famer. Diesel isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  153. His only value is to start and score like 10 points. Because he can't defend, and he can't sit for long periods due to his aging body. Even starting means giving him like 10 minutes and pounding the ball into him. What team is that desperate for that kind of help?

    ReplyDelete
  154. Don't you know he was their biggest draw when Diesel was champ! Nash said so himself!

    ReplyDelete
  155. Who are the biggest names not in at this point?

    ReplyDelete
  156. Every wife's dream https://i.imgur.com/OCc9mUt.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  157. Lou Thesz is one

    ReplyDelete
  158. I can't tell if this post is supposed to mean something, or you just wanted to post a weird Nash gif.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Goldberg
    Their music guy
    Steiners?
    Road Warriors?

    ReplyDelete
  160. The Rock. Though I don't know if he's actually retired or not at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Not enough bondage.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Road Warriors are in, I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Yeah, I don't think he's retired yet, plus they're in no rush to put him in because he's so young.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I think Punk's sister should do it: "WTF? I thought this next inductee was dead. LOL."

    ReplyDelete
  165. That whole Twitter hack has about a 5% chance if being legit.

  166. Chewbacca should go in the celebrity wing of the HoF http://i.imgur.com/qwic8HZ.gif

  167. To be fair to Koko, he came along at that weird point when the territories were dying and his territory in particular died in 81. But he was a Multi time tag champion with several wrestlers. And a multi time and multi territory heavyweight champion. Among a number of other belts.

It's just that nobody cared about the Mid-America territory. (So much so that there's not even a Wiki for it.) Then it died. Then to make money, he started walking around with the bird. And I don't begrudge him for that.

  168. Both should absolutely be in.

Isn't there some kind of heat with Vader?

  169. Davey Boy Smith, and for that matter the British Bulldogs tag team. Both should be in.

  170. With all the Hogan hate recently, let's remember back when he was a jam up guy http://i.ytimg.com/vi/Qk1nLeZoN4c/hqdefault.jpg

  171. Ah, I miss the "SHAVE YOUR BACK!" chants. Albert briefly brought them back.

  172. Stan Hansen's not in, he should probably go but they're a little weird about guys who were their hottest outside of the country. I think Meltzer said Inoki went it because Jim Ross really pushed hard for him to go in.

  173. Yeah, that's all fair enough. I remember Koko from WCCW (PYT Express), and I thought he was good, but if we are talking HoF credentials, it's not really there, IMO. I would have ran around with that silly bird too though. I'm sure he made good money doing it.

  174. Rude, DDP, Heyman, Cornette, Martel, Sid and Taker.

  175. All worthy, only one who might not get in is Sid, not sure what his status is with Vince and he's trashed them an awful lot as of late IIRC.

  176. He was just trying to help his good friend Bret!
By abandoning him....to face the guy Bret had just had a grueling match against, in which Hart got screwed....going on to win what was really rightfully Bret's title.....
I'm sure there was SOMETHING good about it...

  177. Koko had a pretty decent run in Memphis as well. He's not what I'd call a Hall of Fame guy, but he worked.

  178. I was really surprised with all the SNL talk yesterday and today in here. Is that a really thing for people in this age range? I always found the show boring and unfunny. Someone made me watch a Californians skit, I wanted to punch them in the face. You might sit through 5 hours of SNL and get one slightly funny skit. Dumb show. I thought it was for like people on there 40's and 50's.

  179. Also speaking of SNL..seriously what was Eddie thinking? A. did he really think he could have rock build him up like that..not do anything and everyone wouldn't be shitting on him the next day? B. He realizes its 2015 and he isn't exactly bullet proof right? Like there are plenty of people out there that could have used a reminder "oh hey...this guy is funny"

  180. I'd say Shamrock or Dan Severn, but Vince would never induct them. SOMEONE COULD DIE.

  181. No Father Guido Sarducci on the SNL special = fail

He's one of the main things that comes to mind when people think of mid-80's SNL
