  1. So Brock travelled all the way to Raw, wasted a perfectly good Monday, does that count as an "appearance" as per his deal even though he didn't show up on TV?

    ReplyDelete
  2. "Lesnar, who was advertised to appear on RAW last night, was backstage at the show but not used."

You pay this guy like 100k per appearance, advertise him for the show, and then don't use him. BRILLIANT!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Although he did not confirm why, Meltzer hinted that something happened with Brock last night and that was why he did not appear.

    ReplyDelete
  4. WWE are fucking obsessed with doing Bryan-Sheamus at WrestleMania.

The first time was for the US Title, but got bumped to the preshow.

Then that infamous "18 second" match for the World Title.

The original plan for last year's Mania was Bryan-Sheamus AGAIN. With Punk-HHH, and Orton-Batista for the WWE Title. But Sheamus got injured, Punk quit, and Batista got booed.

    ReplyDelete
  5. If he refuses to do the job to Reigns I'd be laughing.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Vince: "Brock, you're going to lose to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania."
Lesnar: "That's fucking stupid, but okay."
Vince: "Let me tell you something pal, if you don't see things my way you're going to be banned from appearing on RAW!"
Lesnar: "As long as the check clears, fine by me."
Heyman: "I still get 10% of that, right?"

    ReplyDelete
  7. When the news comes out, I will post about it here.

  8. Cena vs Orton,one more timeFebruary 24, 2015 at 7:23 AM

    Shamelessly stolen from reddit:

"Can't wait for next week when Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out and says Reigns just has ''it'' and he is his pick to win at WM.
Then the week after Bruno Sammartino makes a rare appearance to declare that he has looked down displeased on the last 20 years of wrestling but Reigns is the guy that makes him watch everyweek and Big Ro(that's his nickname for Reigns since they're close) is the reason he enjoys wrestling again.
Then next, next week Bret Hart has a major announcement. First he says he is proud that Reigns isn't coasting by his family name but the audience doesn't even know the half of it. Not only is Reigns a member of the Anoai family, he is also a part of the Hart family. That's right, Roman Reigns is the great link between two of the greatest dynasties in pro wrestling history. And Bret retirates how Roman doesn't make a big deal about it while Bret does it for him.
Then next, next, NEXT week Jake the Snake makes a special appearance and declares that it was Roman Reigns handsomeness that cured his cancer because fuck nothing makes sense anymore.
We're on the Road to WM and it's being paved by the Roman Empire. BU...LIEVE...DAT!
On a less snarky note, Reigns's death valley flapjack is pretty cool."

    ReplyDelete
  9. I wonder if it just comes down to the fact that Bryan is able to get really good matches out of Sheamus. Of course, they pissed the chance away at Mania 28.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I didn't even realize AJ has been gone.

    ReplyDelete
  11. He refused to work with Roman Reigns? (fingers crossed)

    ReplyDelete
  12. so....that means they paid Brock to be there right?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wwe doesn't like to repeat storylines with Bryan for the main event of wm, but they have no problem repeating the Sheamus-Bryan wm match

    ReplyDelete
  14. I also like how HHH was not listed in those if Reigns was against....he would win

    ReplyDelete
  15. because a 5 minute match to kick off the show isn't important to them

    ReplyDelete
  16. The champion is there and they do nothing with him. This company I swear.

    ReplyDelete
  17. They could put Bryan against Heath slater at this point, who gives a fuck. Dude blows.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Is there ANYBODY who wants to see Sheamus wrestle Daniel Bryan again? Is there anybody who wants to see Sheamus period?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Bryan as a cripple rooting on roman is probably the best use of him now

  21. I bet that's what we're gonna get. Bryan as Roman's cornerman.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yup. Probably flew him in on the WWE jet.

I'll bet you anything they decided not to put him on because they were getting a positive crowd reaction for Reigns, and didn't want to risk Lesnar getting a better reaction.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Why in the world wouldn't Brock resign with them. hmmm work my ass off and get beat up or fly first class to hang out back stage...

    ReplyDelete

The guy who owns and runs the company.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'd claw my eyes out--gibbering madly like an H.P. Lovecraft character--if I saw Sheamus period.

    ReplyDelete
  26. What a kick in the nuts on a professional level.

Bryan in Reigns' corner would make the Mania main event even more of trainwreck. It'll be like Mania 20 where more fans were cheering for Steve Austin than for Lesnar or Goldberg.

    ReplyDelete
  27. But will Bret have tears in his eyes while discussing how great Roman is?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Bryan-Sheamus is like the opposite of rock-Austin at wm. One of them is always in the main event and puts on long matches. The other is barely even seen on the main card.

    ReplyDelete
  29. So i went to El Torito's Tweeter and this is disturbing : https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B92HYi8IYAI3sMO.jpg:large

    Good stuff

    ReplyDelete
  33. You know what other company used to waste money flying wrestlers to shows and then not use them? WCW.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Not like it even matters anymore. Unless he re-signs he's gone in 5 weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Does that count for one of Lesnar's contracted appearances?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm not saying Wrestlemania is in trouble but Roman Reign's push just checked into DDPs house #Rimshot

    ReplyDelete
  37. Nvm, saw it was already asked.

    ReplyDelete
  38. 2013 Scott Hall is looking at the Mania 31 main event and saying "You look like shit."

    ReplyDelete
  39. After a decade of 50/50 booking for anyone not named Cena, Orton, Triple H, or Edge or anyone on a part-time schedule, the end result is Roman Reigns.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I forget if i said this here or to friends but I was thinking the best thing for Reigns after mania would be to go over the established guys you know like....uhm...Cena....and Orton...and...uh..Cena and Orton

    ReplyDelete
  41. The consequences of killing off the entire undercard.

    ReplyDelete
  42. So are we pretty much guaranteed Reigns HHH at some point to try and get the kid over?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Not watching RAW was great. I got about 60 minutes of my Monday back, didn't get annoyed, and by the looks of it, missed nothing but this company going out of its way to fail.
I don't miss the network either. NXT is on Hulu and while it was nice having old wrestling, it wasn't in order and they never rolled out enough to capture my interest.
WWE, you have achieved your goal. I don't care. Not sure what the end game is, but you lost my money.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Meltzer joked how this era in the WWE should be called the midcard era because of how they book everyone besides Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Subject to change of course, but the B-show European tour lineup is being advertised as including Reigns, Rollins, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and the Usos.

So we can assume Reigns' first title feud will either be with Rollins, Big Show, or Wyatt. Let's be honest... it will probably be Big Show.

    ReplyDelete
  46. If Triple H were smart -- and he is -- he'd save his jobs in his back pocket until his hand-picked NXT guys come up to the roster.

Triple H vs. Owens is infinitely more interesting to me than Triple H vs. Reigns, which we sort of seen already in the Evolution vs. Shield matches.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Certainly as I said he will feud with Big Show, then Kane, then a 3 way with Big Show, and Kane...then Rollins...then HHH...then they will probably throw money at Batista

    ReplyDelete
  48. Before the crowd rebellion at the Rumble the original plan was for him to face Big Show at fast lane so ...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Absolutely! The only way Reigns will REALLY get over is if HHH beats him with the Pedigree. Just ask HHH!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hey man, did anything else ever happen with that asshole that basically stole a Wii U from you? I think the last I saw, you contacted the police but they weren't going to do anything?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Post-Mania, I wonder if Reigns will have a Punk-like reign in the sense that the focus of the shows will still be Cena.

Trainwreck comes out July 17, so it's possible Cena might be off TV to do some promotional work for the film (although he's more of a supporting guy, so it probably might not be much). That's the same weekend as WWE Battleground, a notoriously throwaway PPV anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nope. Police declined me report. I guess the guy made out with a free Wii U + games lol

    Thanks for asking though.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Ugh. It still boils my blood that he got away with it, too.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Imagine if the US title was main eventing over the WORLD title.

    ReplyDelete
  55. What do you think Heyman though when he was asked to go out there and tell the fans they are idiots for not liking Reigns and say Reigns would have beat Hulk, Rock, Austin...and on....he had to go...."you know this is going to get shit out of the building right?"

    ReplyDelete
  56. Same. I'm a pretty big believer in karma though, so hopefully the system broke or something by now.

    ReplyDelete
  57. WWE booked a PPV that had Cena vs. Johnny Ace as the main event over Punk vs. Bryan for the WWE Championship.

    Anything is stupidly possible.

    ReplyDelete
  58. He'll get his comeuppance. Flush with confidence he may try and scam someone less civilised next time and end up beaten to a bloody pulp.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Watching (OK reading about) the wwe try to desperately use Bryan to get a rub on Reigns only a few weeks before mania is like watching a kid try and study for his final exam 5 minutes before it starts.

    ReplyDelete
  60. My favorite WCW money-wasting story is still Chris Jericho's royalty check he received for $0.00.

    ReplyDelete
  61. At this point, I'm hoping that it eventually leads to Bryan turning heel post-Mania and beating the shit out of new WWE Champion Reigns leading to a feud.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Or like WWE telling Big Show to do the YES chant.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Was Kalisto doing everyone's hair backstage in preparation for his upcoming main roster gimmick?

(Hoping that rumor's been disproved... ye gods.)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Wait, we're not your friends?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Random observation - when R-Truth holds his mic to a member of the crowd during a live show to say "what's up?", I'd love it if they said something hilariously inappropriate instead.

    R-Truth: "WHAT'S UP?"

    Fan 1: "WHAT'S UP?"

    R-Truth: "WHAT'S UP?"

    Fan 2: "TIT WANK!"

    ReplyDelete
  66. I got it. If they really want to troll the audience, do Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus with Daniel Bryan as the special referee or ring announcer.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Calling it right now.. Rollins will cash in the MITB briefcase on Roman Reigns after Reigns wins the title at WM. Lesnar will snap and destroy Reigns with German suplexes after the match to set it up.

    ReplyDelete
  68. No a 3 way and Bryan gets laid out back stage before the match.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I just can't see a Wrestlemania ending so screwy like that. Reigns will fine, it'll be.... fine. Two stars. Solid. Dull. Boring. WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think people would see through that as a desperate attempt to get Reigns over at the expense of Bryan. They would either get booed out of the building or total apathy and silence.

    ReplyDelete
  71. They should have kept Bryan a million miles away from Reigns if they really wanted to get him over. Give Bryan something interesting to do so we'd all go "Well, this isn't too bad". But they wanted to get us all worked up for Fast Lane and it worked.

    ReplyDelete
  72. To be fair, Torito is wearing hooves.

    ReplyDelete
  73. YUP. It's honestly what they might as well do at this point. Lesnar cripples Bryan, Bryan does the Yes chant in Roman's corner at mania.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Some asshole stole a personalized Atlanta Braves jersey from my garage, while I was home. Had it not been from my deceased grandmother, who got it for me in the 8th grade, I may not have cared. But sadly, it was and I do.

What I don't get is that it's completely worthless to anyone besides me. It has *my* last name on it and it has a few stains in it from over its 20 years. It still hurts :/

    ReplyDelete
  75. Sheamus would be fine in a big, stiff-as-all-hell feud with Barrett and/or Harper. Just let them batter the living fuck out of one another.

But keep him FAR away from the main event scene. And anything in which he has to talk or have a skit.

Always thought they missed a good opportunity to have he and Drew in a prolonged feud, too, given that they'd had a long past together in the UK + Ireland indies.

    ReplyDelete
  76. With the crowd turning their backs when he wins.

  77. Sweepstake:

What "infection" storyline will AJ be landed with?

    * Staph?
    * Herpes?
    * AIDS?

Answers on a postcard with "WWE APP" written on it in crayon, please.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Cena vs Orton,one more timeFebruary 24, 2015 at 8:05 AM

    Testicular cancer.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Since having Paul and Bryan claim he is the best of all time didn't
work..the next step will be to make Brock a chickenshit heel

    ReplyDelete
  81. Agreed. If they're going to do it, they'll save it for the Raw the next night.

And if they have the remotest level of common sense, they'll have Reigns in the ring celebrating, Rollins talking trash, Lesnar coming from nowhere and obliterating Reigns for Rollins to cash in. Bryan comes in to make the save (setting up him v Brock) but it's not enough to prevent the cash-in.

    ReplyDelete
  82. They could still end with John Cena beating Rusev to send the crowd home hap... HAHAHAHAHA... sorry, I couldn't keep a straight face with that.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Because paying them the money before making a superficial gesture that only disrespects the performers is the way to go!

    ReplyDelete
  84. SHE'S A MAAAANNNNNN

    SUCH A MAANNNNN!

    ReplyDelete
  85. A big golf ball sized Staph infection on her back.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Lupus. It'll be lupus.

Is saying "it's lupus" still funny?

    ReplyDelete
  87. I've said before the better way to do it would be for all the folk on the hard-camera side to just get up and walk out.

I'd feel sorry for the guys in the ring, but it would scare the SHIT out of Vince.

If he was actually watching, and not sitting in a corner frantically masturbating to pictures of Roman's head stuck on Lex Luger's body.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Excerpt from an article on the WWE I just saw online.

    ReplyDelete
  89. If that happens, the only possible way it can work out for the best is for Reigns to win, then Bryan running-knees the living hell out of him for Rollins to cash-in.

Doesn't even have to be a heel turn. Just a guy pissed off at being shoved to one side for the golden boy.

    I'd Yes for that.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Something I thought about recently is that having evil people control the company you are suppose to love for the past..17 years has to on some subconscious level hurt your feelings about the company as a whole.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Looks like Ziggler will face Ambrose and Barrett at WrestleMania, leaving us with Bryan vs. Sheamus.

    ReplyDelete
  92. No, House.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I've got the AWA doc on in the background. Bischoff is a really good talking head. Vinces segments are infuriating to see, especially with todays wwe booking.

    ReplyDelete
  94. If I was there, I could totally see myself leaving early to beat traffic if Reigns went on last.

    ReplyDelete
  95. So if it sinks some more buy it and than sell it when it reaches this point again, because its not going higher than that again?

    ReplyDelete
  96. I honestly thought Sheamus would be a shoe-in to win the Battle Royal this year.

We'll get Bryan v Kane and Big Show, surely? There has to be a way to get such a star attraction of a match onto the card! Has to be!!!

    ReplyDelete
  97. I would just say away from it completely.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Market cap according to a lot of people is lower than it is right now, and don't buy until it close to 5 bucks.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I wouldn't, but mainly due to the fact Lesnar is still brilliant, no matter who he's facing*, and there's always the chance of a Rollins cash-in at the end.

*Warning: statement does not include Big Show

    ReplyDelete
  100. Fan 2: "Fuck her right in the pussy"

    ReplyDelete
  101. R-Truth: "Ain't no-one got time fo' that!"

    ReplyDelete
  103. Dr Facts is Reigns' #1 fanFebruary 24, 2015 at 8:15 AM

Kane vs Bryan at Wrestlemania. Bryan loses in 4 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Bryan and Sheamus have awesome matches. I would think Sheamus would have to win, if only because they have so few heels.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I'd personally prefer to see a sheamus vs bryan match but I hate to think about Ziggler being stuck in a crappy throw away tag match with Ryback and whatever loser team they get stuck with so I guess I'll hope for a ziggler vs bryan match, although the build will probably be horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'd say if it happens, Bryan has to win, and they have to make a thing of it being revenge for the 15 seconds fiasco.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Interesting, when you combine this with the other recent article detailing how WWE's out-of-the-ring projects have drained the company of its cash reserves. This stuff is fascinating if you're willing to dive in, because it reminds you how much Vince and the rest of the braintrust of WWE have to contend with beyond how they're booking Dean Ambrose. The shit we gripe about is just a small part of a larger world, and sometimes you have to step back from the mat to see the bigger picture. It's why wrestling fans should read more articles on what's happening in the world of cable TV.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Bringing back PTP is good news though.

    ReplyDelete
  109. It's been given the chop. Or at least trimmed back for now.

    ReplyDelete
  110. That's Reigns/Sheamus program is going to be the Rock/Austin of this generation.

    ReplyDelete
  111. That seems to be the growing consensus on Wall Street. This is going to be a growing story over the next year to 18 months.

    ReplyDelete
  112. It's America, buddy - it IS the world where titles and trophies are concerned.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Bryan vs. Slow, Kane and J&J Security!

    ReplyDelete
  114. If Kane and Big Show HAVE to be on the card, then stick them in the battle royal.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I think I'd actually like to see that program...

    ReplyDelete
  116. Don't forget R-Truth.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Well, Roman can't be his own corner man. That would be confusing.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I'm going to repost this here because it got lost in last night's thread and I spent a good ten minutes on it.

    Well Roman Reigns was Samoan,
Family tree as big as the swamp.
He hunted better workers for a livin,
Knocked 'em dead with a superman punch.
The Big Show & Kane gonna get ya Roman
You ain't a real main eventer till you get over that hump, boy

Well everybody blames his old man,
For makin' him mean as a snake,
When Roman Reigns was a boy
His daddy would teach him to rise above hate.
Take him down to the pool, and throw him in the deep end,
Kickin' them thigh muscles, tryin to get to surface

About 45 minutes southeast of Florida, Pensacola
Lived a man named Afa Anoa'i and his pretty wife [Lola]
Well they raised up a son who you knew would never need Rogaine,
Named him using a random generator,
    Called him Roman Reigns

Well, the folks around south Pensacola
Said Roman was a hell of a chap
He had purty bronze skin, and big beefy thighs
But he kept 'em under wraps
Came down to the ring in pants and a flak jacket
Samoan man boobs ain't look good on TV!

Well Vince McMahon caught wind that Roman
Was in FCW and rackin' up wins
So he called him up, gonna push ya boy,
It'll be Diesel all over again.
Well, I wonder where the network sub rate went to?
You can sure lose fans when you push who they ain't into!

About 45 minutes southeast of Florida, Pensacola

  119. How long has it been reported that Bryan is wrestling Sheamus or Ziggler?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Ha, I just came on here to make that joke. I'm sure somewhere on that Monday Night War atrocity some talking heads were crowing about flying guys in then not using them. God I hate the Monday Night War series.

    ReplyDelete
  121. At least since the Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  122. IF Rollins does not cash in at Mania then I think he should earn a title shot and cash in as the back up plan. It is kind of the only thing left to do with the briefcase they have not done.

    ReplyDelete
  123. But...will Roman be confused?

    ReplyDelete
  124. There is just really nothing left to even say about how horrible the WWE has gotten. It's such a bastardization of the kind of professional wrestling anyone actually became a fan of. It's just some kind of bizarre self congratulatory variety show, that hates itself and and its audience. It's been so weird to watch this happen. Sucks because I was a fan but at least they will sell us the back catalog from when they didn't suck.

    ReplyDelete
  125. part of me kind of hopes Vince has a sudden change of heart and puts Bryan back in the main event just to bump the plans for Sheamus another year.

    ReplyDelete
  126. He might get (more) confused and put Sheamus into the main event and have Bryan running around stealing people's cars.

    ReplyDelete
  127. It'd be nice if the E started that 4 months ago, instead of 4 weeks out from WM.

    ReplyDelete
  128. thats one way to do it...but the beauty of it is they can even do their damn 50/50 booking and it still works.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I'm starting to agree with that. I try to stay optimistic and enjoy what I can. I even really enjoyed the product as recently as 2011-2012. But right when the 3 Hour Raw era began is where much of that enjoyment dissipated. And that's no coincidence.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Just don't take it from Mike Johnson! I don't want that poor dog to get punished.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I've abandoned RAW and only watch the PPVs now. Three hours is too much for a regular show.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I like the story he tells about how they sent him an overnight FedEx envelope and when he opened it, it was empty.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Brock's business. He'd job to Slater if they asked.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Could you imagine the owner of a football team holding press conferences on gamedays threatening to bench the QB, fire the coach, hire a backup QB that they annoint as the Future of the Franchise... then after the game appearing on ESPN explaining how they are just playing a character to sell more tickets. And worse: a couple times a season they'd suit up and go in for a few snaps! The world would call that guy fucking insane.

    ReplyDelete
  136. If? Have you watched the product over the past 18 years. They'll be on it in some fashion.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I'm the same way. I've watched maybe 10 Raws since they went 3 Hours and most of those were in the Mania 29-30 builds.

I just watch the PPV but honestly even those lately have been bunk.

I watch the Hell in a Cell match or the deathmatches he did and I think No Way.................

  143. Reigns going over Lesnar in a mediocre match
Old ass washed up HHH and Sting
Old ass washed up undertaker vs fat and not good at wrestling Bray Wyatt (even if you like his character he's not this awesome wrestler)
    Cena vs Rusev
    Rollins v Orton
Bryan in the 6th (lol what????) most important match on the card vs Sheamus
ziggler in a throw away tag match
A potential star like Ambrose buried so bad that an IC match vs Barrett is almost an offensive waste of time
    Divas match

Ladies and gentlemen your wrestlemania 31 card!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  144. Check out some pictures of a younger Mick. He was a handsome guy. I think most of those looks survived the death matches.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Do people think that Brock is on a per date deal with no guarantee?

    ReplyDelete
  146. Is this a worse card than 29? 29 had a more interesting Sheamus vs Ziggler feud, Punk vs Taker and the Rock.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I think Bray is a solid wrestler. Not gonna get a classic out of Taker in 2015 though. If they book that match right it'll be short and be a great moment.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I dunno.. ask Sable.

    Heyyyyyyyy-oooooooo!

  150. You forgot about the Miz.

    ReplyDelete
  151. 29 had a Shield 6-Man, Taker/Punk, and Rock/Cena II(which I wasn't excited for but never expected to suck so bad)

On paper 29 looked better than 31 is shaping up to be even if most of the matches from 29 didn't deliver.

  152. I was so excited that mania was coming back to California. I bought my tickets, booked the hotel and then the Royal Rumble happened. I thought maybe they were going to do an about face at fastlane, but instead we get Bryan being forced to bend over backwards to make Reigns. I feel like I'm going to witness one of the worst manias ever.

The CHAMPION of the WWE, on your TOP SHOW, is backstage and NOT. BEING. USED.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

    ReplyDelete
  154. I thought he was, right after Austin in 98 and Rock in 99. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought Heyman name-dropped Triple H.

    ReplyDelete
  155. At least you'll be there to experience it live. That'll improve your experience.

    ReplyDelete
  156. He might have overshadowed the unpopular guy they're pushing against the fans' will.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I think he's got a guaranteed deal but just with a limited number of dates, which makes it incredibly stupid to bring him to raw and not have him lay out Reigns to end the show.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Like I said the other day, the longer they wait for the cash-in the closer they come to the next MitB PPV, and if the cash-in isn't going to be successful they kill the gimmick for the next time. So they either hurry up and get it out if the way unsuccessfully to give fans time to forget about it, or the cash-in pays off and they chop the nuts off Reigns in his first title run.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Yep, some time before the end of the year, it will happen right after the passing of the torch match with John Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  160. You're talking about the guy who made Justin Credible his world champ.

I can't wait to not watch Wrestlemania this year.

  162. Hogans promos were better when he was on it to be fair.

  163. The Amazing GamecockFebruary 24, 2015 at 8:39 AM

Sell your tickets and go to Vegas instead. You can get laid there.

    ReplyDelete
  164. True. I'll have fun no matter what, most likely by shitting on everything along with the crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I'm more annoyed they are wasting Lesnar on a guaranteed bust like Reigns. We can all already see he's sheamus 2.0 and will dead in the water within a month or two so it's just sad they won't have Brocks rub to use on someone who could actually do something with it.

    ReplyDelete
  166. But it's not like they're paying him and not using him. He'd've gotten paid if he was at home.

    ReplyDelete
  167. You shut your whore mouth about Sheamus. Sheamus is actually a good wrestler with proven success in singles matches.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Just try not to add up in your head how much it all cost you when you're there watching the Divas scream and pull each other's hair.

    ReplyDelete
  169. I think she looks a lot like Mick. He's still a handsome guy behind the fat and beard and disfigurements. Gives me the same feeling as Charlotte. Noelle's got a lot of work to do to match that body, though.

    ReplyDelete
  170. I don't consider the pre show part of the main card. Call me a traditionalist.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Barrett, Cesaro, and Sheamus should form a stable called the EU. Not sure if any wrestlers are Greek, but that wrestler could keep losing and getting beat up and need the other three to help.

    ReplyDelete
  172. But he's even staler than Cena as a character.

And he's borderline Cena-level in the "Never loses, but if he does, always gets to shake it off and stand tall" stakes.

Bores the absolute hell out of me.

    ReplyDelete
  173. He's a good wrestler (he's fucking Bret Hart compared to Reigns) but his big pushs have all flopped. I'd far prefer a big Sheamus push.

    ReplyDelete
  174. His character sucks something fierce. But he's a talented wrestler.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Add to that: A champion who only has about 4 appearances left on his contract.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Fitting with how they wasted Taker's rub

    ReplyDelete
  177. I think he works for free because the WWE is so awesome right now, who wouldn't die to just be a part of it?

    ReplyDelete
  178. The Amazing GamecockFebruary 24, 2015 at 8:43 AM

So The Rock will come back at WM and screw over Reigns right? RIGHT?

    ReplyDelete
  179. No, people think he has 4 or 5 dates left to actually do stuff, this was one of them, and they wasted it. Keep up, dummy.

    ReplyDelete
  180. My guess for Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania? Vince forgets that the WWE Restaurant doesn't exist anymore and flies Bryan out to NYC to host a viewing party.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Fitting? More like bullshit.

I said for a while that while it would make sense for the Streak to end that I didn't trust WWE to build the right storyline, execute the match, and deliver with the right follow through to do it.

I guess everyone is right eventually.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Yeah, if ever someone needed a reboot.

At this point, even sticking him in an expensive suit and making him part of the Authority would be better than Same Old Sheamus again.

    ReplyDelete
  183. He gets paid whether they bring him in or not. Last night was just one of the nights he was supposed to be on. In theory they can still put him on to make it up, but with only a month to go that window is rapidly closing. There had been talk at one time of amending his deal to use him for more dates on a per-appearance basis, but as far as I know that never came about and they are still using his originally-contracted number of dates.

    ReplyDelete
  184. If Paul sticks around after Brock splits, the next Heyman guy should be someone already established not someone they're hoping to rise up the card.

I'm hoping that someone is Sheamus. Good wrestler who would benefit from Heyman's heat and interviews.

    ReplyDelete
  185. Does Rocky need that face pop

    ReplyDelete
  186. So I saw a commercial for the new AC/DC album and thought, "Damn...I like AC/DC but they've been putting out the same exact album for years now."

Then I realized something...John Cena is the AC/DC of wrestling. Overall solid performer, sells a ton of merch but sticks to the same tired formula. And he's been making money off of it for years now.

  191. I wouldn't mind Sheamus actually being used like Taker used to be by Teddy Long.

In other words (as I said below) make him part of the Authority, and if someone's playing up and there's no "Tag Team, playa" possibilities, give them the old "One on one wit da Undertaker" approach, but make Sheamus the Authority enforcer.

I'd push it further and give him a no-DQs gimmick. If the Authority want to punish you, they just shove you in a no-DQ with Sheamus, who has free rein to just DAMAGE you.

It would give him a new direction, he wouldn't need to talk and he could actually be quite effective enhancement talent while still looking like a threat.

    ReplyDelete
  192. So, basically what I just said. He was getting paid for this date if they flew him in or not. Thanks for acknowledging I was right!

    ReplyDelete
  193. Did you watch the show or are you just accepting what a small segment of the audience claims on the internet?
