    ReplyDelete
  3. Happy Carnival season everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I was a big fan of the Hot Dog critiques. I learned about Chicago Style dogs. I'm going to have to give it a shot.

What side are you on? The one that makes the parade floats or the ones that party?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Is it one big orgy in Brazil?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Gary Owens has died...

    ReplyDelete
  10. Depends on where you are in Brazil, In Rio it's both.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Why the hell everyone thinks I live in brothel?

    ReplyDelete
  12. You don't live in brothel?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Because people thing that is whats up in Brazil. It's a crazy country. Frightening and exotic. Dangerous place. At least that's the perception.

    ReplyDelete
  14. 80¨% is media bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  15. *screw gets drilled*
    *oil spouting*
    *hot dogs placed in bun*

    ReplyDelete
  16. Enjoy your wrestling guys. I'm off. If you can't find shit to watch I highly recommend the Pipers Pit on the 10-20-86 MSG show. YMMV on the rest of the show (I enjoyed it) but that is just an unbelievable awesome segment. Piper vs Heenan, what more can you want? Well then they toss in superfan Vladamir.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Thinking about getting a Roku. Is it only the newest version that is Network compatible?

    ReplyDelete
  18. It's really old already. Time to repackage

    ReplyDelete
  19. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessFebruary 13, 2015 at 6:08 PM

One week after proposing to my girlfriend, and what are we doing together for Valentine's Day? NOTHING! She went skiing this weekend, leaving me alone to my own devices. What a great Valentine's Day present, right?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Consider yourself lucky

    ReplyDelete
  21. I believe that for sure. That's just our perception of the whole country in general I think. And no surprise to me that it would be way off base. I've traveled to Mexico so many times and people here always talk so much shit about dangerous it is but honestly it's really chill place to go visit. I love Mexico.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Except for the Mexicans

    ReplyDelete
  23. Pornhub has got your hookup.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Should I go out tonight and fail at getting laid by a desperate dateless chick or stay in and eat junk food and watch the NJPW PPV?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Funny, I talked to my anesthesiologist about him getting a Roku, how Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prome works a few minutes before he knocked me out just a few days ago.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yeah that part sucks! Technically my favorite place there was built by Mayans too but still, awesome food, great place.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Change the NJPW to Porn and split the difference.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I hadn't heard that rumor before but honestly it just seems like it's true.

    ReplyDelete
  29. No. Attempting (even if failing) to get laid always comes first

    ReplyDelete
  30. Mitch, The GodfatherFebruary 13, 2015 at 6:11 PM

    He ain't gonna do it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. NJPW starts around 2am EST I think... could work

    ReplyDelete
  32. I have a copy of Earthbound I want to sell, I'm wondering the best time and place to sell it would be though.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Indeed. It's really weird for me, though, because I don't really have a MLB. team I cheer for a lot. My cousin's husband is a big Indians fan, so I like to see them do well. Dude deserves to have his baseball team win once every sixty years or so for putting up with her.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah I'll probably go with eBay, the price seems to fluctuate though. I so wish I still had the box and book though. I won't say I wish I never opened it as that game was so fun and batshit insane to play as a kid.

    ReplyDelete
  35. AJ Styles is now a king in Japan, happy for him.

    ReplyDelete
  36. "When we're done, you're outta here. I got wrestling to watch."

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yeah it's amazing how much the price inflates when the box and manual are included. My life for a time machine. I would have bought two copies of every game I owned and left one in the cellophane.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Go out with dateless chick, there's probably only a 10% chance you'll get laid but who knows, those are better odds than the lotto.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I always hear people tell me their doctors have basic conversations with them, as they're putting them under.

    ReplyDelete
  40. NJPW is a perfect fit for him.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Where is my mother fucking pizza?

    I'm hungry

    ReplyDelete
  42. I know,an unopened Earthbound is worth $1800, fuck! As I have it, I'm looking at $175.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Danimal's blog is the only place where you'll find Lucha Underground wrestling reviews, TV dinner reviews, and an article about hot dogs.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Maybe for us the BC is something meh, but in Japan the act is over. Tons of BC merchandise, Styles even got female fans pop.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yeah in Japan they rarely see that kind of group. In the States, we are used to seeing it constantly

    ReplyDelete
  46. That's how it's been with me. It keeps you relaxed and your mind off the fact they are about to do horrible things to your body. I actually was able to get the entire OR cracking up before one of my spinal surgeries.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I don't know there is a lot of BC shirt in the indie crowds

    ReplyDelete
  48. Those are the type of people that want everyone to know they watch Japanese wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I also have a shitload of Simpsons figures, although they aren't in the best of shape, wonder how much they are worth.

    ReplyDelete
  50. The only good thing about being sick is the fact that I can lie around and watch Netflix and the Network all day.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Speaking of New Japan, did Jarrett make any money off of the experiment with WK?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Give them to Chumlee.

    ReplyDelete
  53. You actually meeting this girl or going out by yourself?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I don't know.

    ReplyDelete
  55. *tumbleweed rolls by*

    ReplyDelete
  56. Is it true that NJPW bought NOAH?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Bought stock in them. Not a majority owner though.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Anyone remember an arcade wrestling game called Mat Mania/Exciting Hour? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjHgs-TVjEY

    ReplyDelete
  59. But didn't Gado & Jedo are booking now ? I think that was Super Crazy said in an interview

    ReplyDelete
  60. Time to use their working relation in their favor, bring in the NOAH Jr's to spice the divisions.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yeah they are doing booking too, but NJPW doesn't completely own NOAH.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Why the hell Scott hates Gedo?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'd be going out as a single guy trying to pick up a single girl

    ReplyDelete
  64. Wasn't Marufuji?

He was actually doing a good job.

    ReplyDelete
  65. He looked like the biggest fucking dork in the late 90s

    ReplyDelete
  66. Suzuki Gun already invaded Noah and Minoru is challenging they champion

    ReplyDelete
  67. Does he still hate him? The Gedo hate seems like eons ago.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Yeah Marufuji was their main booker, I believe. NJPW buying some of NOAH is why we are seeing talent exchanges.

    ReplyDelete
  69. http://youtu.be/h_9ATQFgu9o

    ReplyDelete
  70. That's when I have my best luck so go do that.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Plus he beat Benoit in the Semi-Finals of the Super J Cup 95. That didn't sit well with Scott.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I saying some NOAH guys should appear in NJPW shows, Kenou & Ohara, Harada, Sabre Jr...

    ReplyDelete
  73. Scott was the biggest Benoit mark in the 90's.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I heard Zack Sabre was being considered to enter the G-1 this year, that would tremendous

    ReplyDelete
  75. He would probably lose most of his matches, but still would be awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Gedo in the 90's-fat

    Gedo today- in good shape.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I figure what the hell, first Valentines I've been able to go out in like 5 years

    ReplyDelete
  78. Needs more prairie dog.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I wish there was a way to download and watch shows off the Network offline. I hate having to use a streaming service to watch wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Picked a random episode of Raw off youtube. 03/11/02. Hopefully this is a good episode. No idea what the match list is.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Live from the Joe in Detroit apparently. The Road to Wrestlemania in full swing. HEre comes RVD.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I'm working on my cover letter to WWE for a job on the writing team. My emphasis is mostly on my proven ability to create compelling stories and content for a wide range of digital platforms and television.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Brazilian, have you seen Black Cole Sun yet?

    ReplyDelete
  84. La Resistance vs. The Dudleyz.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Dudleyz teaming with Regal apparently against RVD and the Hardyz

    ReplyDelete
  86. Good show, nice suprise at the end.

    No Ronda,though.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hot crowd at least. Good choice for an opener. I didn't remember the Dudleys being in cahoots with Regal

    ReplyDelete
  88. RVD finishes with the 5-star.

    ReplyDelete
  89. You should emphasize that you really don't like wrestling

    ReplyDelete
  90. Shit that's good. I just did a spit take on my monitor as well.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Aldo/McGregor might be the fight I'm most excited this year. There's a guy who I'm a huge fan (Aldo) and there's the douche I want to see getting KO'd (Conor).

    ReplyDelete
  92. Watched the Cena Greatest Rivalries, not too bad. Has a Prototype vs Leviathan match that is ok, but overshadowed by the Bolan/Sin/Whoeverelse quadrilateral fest outside. Also has vs JBL at WM21, vs Orton at SummerSlam (guessing 05 or 06, based on Ortons hair), vs HHH on RAW before Bragging Rights and vs Rock at WM29.

It's not the worst thing I've watched on the Network; the HHH match was pretty good. Makes for nice background noise while I code/film.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Some guys on 4chan calculated the size of Seths penis. It's about 5.8 inches. That's pretty much average.

    ReplyDelete
  94. You're not a wrestling fan, you're a WWE fan.

    ReplyDelete
  95. 4Chan, making other hyperfocused boards look normal all over the web

    ReplyDelete
  96. I think Punk should have been his greatest rival. Those two could have headlined Wrestlemania in 2012 as the final blowoff to their great MITB match.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Someone needs to rename one of his moved the Motion In the Ocean

    ReplyDelete
  98. Sega Master System/Gane Gear reviews from my Dreamcast emulator are coming soon. I consider it a variety blog so along with the continued Lucha Ubderground reviews expect more shorty food and old video game reviews. Just a hodgepodge of stuff. Just trying to have a good time and enjoy it.

    ReplyDelete
  99. That sounds like a terrible idea Meekin.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I want wwe to hire uhaa and cage and book them like usos and mizs so I can see them wrestle each other twice a week for 2 months.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Meekin. I'd love to get you on board for my latest blog project

    www.danimalcrossing.com

Love to bring back those good vibes from before. Let's not leave money on the table.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Is this the weirdest use of math ever?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Didn't Uhaa Nation already signed a developement contract ? I remember reading that in the Daily here

    ReplyDelete

Have a drink on me this evening, guys. Y'all kick ass.

    ReplyDelete
  106. http://m.imgur.com/wxnxk6H The calculations, NSFW of course. I don't do math so good so I'm not sure if it works out though.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Great heel promo by Angle

    ReplyDelete
  108. He denied, just like the Bucks did.

    ReplyDelete
  109. *fist bump*.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Um, there is. If you want I could send you a link; I don't think I should post it here.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 13, 2015 at 6:46 PM

I selectively missed the 'NSFW' part. Now I too have seen Seth Rollins's penis. That makes this night so much worse somehow, heh.

    ReplyDelete
  112. No. This is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFoC3TR5rzI

    ReplyDelete
  113. I assumed everybody here has seen Seth's penis, it was all the rage a few days ago. But I did warn you.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Too bad, I was getting my hopes up seeing him in Nxt. Maybe he will be part of the next big indie sweep with Cole and some other

    ReplyDelete
  115. Cole and O'Reilly need to be in there ASAP.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 13, 2015 at 6:49 PM

I'm in a major haze right now, so I'm not quite thinking straight.

    ReplyDelete
  117. For some reason i can't picture the Bucks adapting well in the very corporate atmosphere of WWE

    ReplyDelete
  118. Block of Simpsons Treehouse of Horror eps on FXX tonight. I might be the only fan who doesn't care for them.

    ReplyDelete
  119. They're pranksters and 90% of their offense is either not PG or to much flippy.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Ok, so Rock/Cena II is really not that bad, but this my finish, your finish, counter, counter, your finish by me, counter, etc is a little much.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I have read rumors that he signed too, but I don't remember anything more definite than just a mention or 2 online.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Then you're not a true fan.

    ReplyDelete
  123. what the fuck with 50 Shades of Grey out I could use the abuse. E-mail Me: PaulMeekin86@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  124. That's the most awesome use of math ever.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I know, but I'm not much into horror stuff period.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Isn't it though? I want to teach a math class just so I can show that video to my students.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Holy shit! A 50 Shades of Grey review by Meekin is just what the new site needs. I'll be in touch soon!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Hey Danimal. I checked out the site. Looks good, man.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Your roster keep on expanding bro

    ReplyDelete
  130. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 13, 2015 at 6:54 PM

Rock/Cena II suffered from the same structural flaw that a lot of main event matches feature these days: finishers have degraded into set-up moves now. In small doses, such as the Brock Lesnar series, it makes sense in the narrative of the match (Brock is a freak, and is almost impossible to beat). But the specialness of finishers have been wholly killed because they never win matches anymore.

As odd as it is to say this, the only finisher that I can really think of all the top of my head on the main roster right now that finishes matches whenever it hits is Bryan's Knee Plus.

    ReplyDelete
  131. That's something I hate about Nakamura, he lets everyone kick out of the Boma YE.

    ReplyDelete
  132. All his TNA promos are pure gold

    ReplyDelete
  133. Brock is not a freak, he's a video game final Boss.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I think the problem is the lead-up. These two should have HATED each other with scathing promos and angles and whatever. But instead, it was the most boring build-up to a mania main event ever and so the match was yawn-worthy as well.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Paul Heyman in 1995 predicting Nitro's chances head to head with Raw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLH0b5UO2lg

    ReplyDelete
  136. They had a real chemistry and each one was the total opposite of the other.

    ReplyDelete
  137. NO, He's in Shao Kahn and beyond level.

    ReplyDelete
  138. And Cena was willing to sell and do the job for Punk. They had such a great thing going. It was the closest to a Rock-Austin dynamic they've had since the glory days and they pissed it away.

    ReplyDelete
  139. It's dead in this bitch

    ReplyDelete
  140. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 13, 2015 at 7:00 PM

Insta-Feud! It honestly felt like reheated leftovers from the previous two years, as if the name value alone could sell the show. Which I mean, in retrospect, I reckon it did to some extent, but it made for a very forgettable show. I don't remember much of anything from WrestleMania XXIX, except for Undertaker/Punk (which is probably going to go down as Taker's last great match, come to think of it).

    ReplyDelete
  141. also Punk was one of the few that could hang with him on the mic and not look like a fool

    ReplyDelete
  142. Anyone seen "I'm With Busey"? Funniest stuff ever.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 13, 2015 at 7:01 PM

Sorry bro. I know I'm not contributing much this evening; been a bad day.

    ReplyDelete
  144. My wife is having a girls night and I'm at home getting drunk on jäger. What's up BOD?

    ReplyDelete
  145. They left money on the table. Though I guess it's good to leave em wanting more instead of running it into the ground like other feuds.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Busey as in Gary Busey?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Thanks a lot! I appreciate the kind words. Just sent Meekin an email about coming on board to write some columns. Business is picking up!

    ReplyDelete
  148. Interesting bit under "Breaking News" with Paul Heyman talking about the Brian Williams lie.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Now the South Park ep with Korn...that's some great Halloween stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Watching Total Recall... "get yer ass to Mars, get yer ass to Mars, get yer ass to Mars"

    ReplyDelete
  151. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 13, 2015 at 7:05 PM

I lost my company today, and literally have no idea what to do or where to go.

    ReplyDelete
  152. The real Total Recall.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Yeah, the Bucks would never be able to work the style that makes them so entertaining.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Cheesy as it is, I'll always know him best from Point Break. Busey, Swayze and Keanu hamming it up and chewing scenery. So great.

    ReplyDelete
  155. I think my favourite heel stable was the Dangerous Alliance. It was really when I was starting to get into wrestling beyond watching Superstars on Saturdays.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Why is this place such a ghosttown? I refuse to believe that many BoDers have a life!

    ReplyDelete
  157. You still hiring?

    ReplyDelete
  158. Ever seen the tv version on cable back in the day? "You bettah get.... to Mars. You bettah get... to Mars...."

    ReplyDelete
  159. You should check out Im with Busey. It's insanity.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Both those guys are definitely talented enough to be on the main roster, but uhaa has a star potential vibe I don't get from either of them. I think uhaa and ach could be huge stars.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Sorry to hear man. We're here for you. What type of company was it?

    ReplyDelete
  162. Corporation.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I'll check it out. Busey is middle aged and crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  164. No, it was the Horsemen.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Link since I'm too lazy to scroll all the way down.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Maybe everyone is like me and has to work at 4:30 tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Am I the only one that thought Evolution was lame? I didn't care for that group in the slightest

    ReplyDelete
  168. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 13, 2015 at 7:09 PM

Security and logistics firm; we were on the cusp of breaking it big, but our financing dried up, and our AI passed away unexpectedly in the middle of an expansion. Our partner firms pulled our contracts, and our last customers just split this morning.

    ReplyDelete
  169. 4:30 is a weird afternoon shift.

    ReplyDelete
  170. It's a toss up between Dangerous Alliance and the Flair/Tully/Arn/Windham Horsemen for me.

    ReplyDelete
  171. They were boring.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Just do the 4 Horsemen or don't bother was my feeling on it.

    ReplyDelete
  173. No, I feel you. Part of it was that they didn't really have any opposition...it was just HHH and his buddies running roughshod over everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  174. I liked them. They achieved their purpose and Raw was good in 04-05.

    ReplyDelete
  175. And it wasn't much of a progressive thing either. Paul E brought in his whole stable in pretty much one shot.

    ReplyDelete
  176. I don't remember them ever doing anything stable-ish. They would be in the ring for the group promo but then went their own ways for the rest of the show

    ReplyDelete
  177. WHAT?! There's a 4:30am?!

    ReplyDelete
  178. Is there any chance you can get any new partner firms?

    ReplyDelete
  179. You like wrong. There is an app for that.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Shit man that sucks. I'm rooting for you Biff.
