  1. Good evening.

  2. So finally started getting checks from Job #2, even with an extra $1600 a month this wedding is still going to take more than a year to pay off. Fucking jesus.

  3. "LOL, send out fuckin' Goldust!"

Did any Boriqua turn in to anything?

    ReplyDelete
  6. The one got turned into a cashmere sweater, that's for sure.

Savio into the most disappointing surprise opponent ever.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Watched it at least a dozen times. It never gets old

Road Warrior Animal has that crown.

  11. Art "AllAmericanBoy" VandelayFebruary 19, 2015 at 5:28 PM

Savio at No Way Out of Texas is hard to beat. The month before WrestleMania 14...with WWF on the rise. Road Warrior Animal was surprise opponent in the dying days of WCW when no one cared anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I would have to give the duke to BY GOD THAT'S ROAD WARRIOR ANIMAL!, yes.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Nah. Wcw was toast at that point. People were expecting something awesome for no Shawn at no way out

    ReplyDelete
  14. Art "AllAmericanBoy" VandelayFebruary 19, 2015 at 5:29 PM

Yeah by that time anyone who felt let down because they expected WCW to deliver a good surprise deserved a lot worse than watching Road Warrior Animal wrestle.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Working on an Attitude Era skin for TEW13, based on the mid-90s style New Generation skin. What was the most popular wrestling website back in the late 90s?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I thought there was some really funny shit on Wrestling Uncensored.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Art "AllAmericanBoy" VandelayFebruary 19, 2015 at 5:30 PM

I finished that SNME which means Survivor Series 1992 and Rumble 1993 would be next but I watched both of those shows within the last few weeks so I can skip them. Woo!

    ReplyDelete
  18. 1wrestling was up there I think.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Scoops, 1wrestling, 411 for me since it was free

    ReplyDelete
  20. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 5:33 PM

Goddammit Vince, that's Savio! That's the only one you should be able to tell apart!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Freakin' Al Issacs, man.

    ReplyDelete
  22. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 5:34 PM

The fuck? Did he just win off a backbreaker?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeah to be honest I never went outside of 411 much at that time, in that period one website putting up all the news in a text only running feed like 411 was so much more convenient than sites with photos and pop ups like scoops, 1 wrestling, and OO

    ReplyDelete
  24. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 5:36 PM

Flag match with pin falls? Than what's the point?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Haha, the neon archway lights are all burnt out on this ep of Raw.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I don't like the NG skin that match. WCW is under represented. I LOVE the old school skin.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Steiners vs Money Inc. This should be good.

    ReplyDelete
  28. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 5:38 PM

Wow Wilkes was a corny promo.

    ReplyDelete
  29. 411 seems to be the only one whose old layout from back then i can actually see on the Internet archive, so I'll go with that, I suppose.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Nevermind, it's just IRS vs Scott.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I love the NG Skin for the color scheme and the Sunny loading screen.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Scott's boots have to be seen to believed in this match. They are these short white boots with brown trim around the bottom. Might be the ugliest boots of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  33. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 5:40 PM

Vader's slide into irrelevance was so gradual yet fast I didn't even realize he hasn't been around.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Art "AllAmericanBoy" VandelayFebruary 19, 2015 at 5:41 PM

Steiners had some shitty fashion choices in the 90's.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Their gear was always fantastic. Random neon always gets a thumb up from me.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Art "AllAmericanBoy" VandelayFebruary 19, 2015 at 5:43 PM

I'm a man of simpler tastes who only demands a little order. Steiners were always pure chaos.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Scott was usually a good white boot wearer, even if he did opt for black soles on them. I never liked that the WWF put them both in Michigan yellow boots. Rick's odd boots were part of his character.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Scott/IRS was a decent little match.

    ReplyDelete
  39. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 5:50 PM

Common sense should dictate a tag team flag match should be under tornado rules....

    ReplyDelete
  40. Wrestleline, obviously

    ReplyDelete
  41. lol at a Beverly Brothers face turn. I had no memory of this.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I still think menace is my favorite hood movie due to the awesomeness of O-Dog but man does Juice take me back to a certain time in my life and that really is cool. Love that movie. Such a great treat to come and just happen to find that on. One cool part about just ordering every channel.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Ovie with a good move to score again. Caps up 2-0 against the Jets.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Big Vito!!! I always love seeing jobbers from this era who ended up being semi decent names in the MNW era.

    ReplyDelete
  45. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 5:53 PM

Lol. Like Vader's shimmying his fat ass up a pole.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I just realized I've been calling Hassan Whiteside Whitehead all day.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Played Majora's Mask 3D for an hour or so today. So far, so good.

    ReplyDelete
  48. His Trooper promos were somehow even worse.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Hahaha. Bill Simmons said this on a Grantland trade article.

"Simmons: I am making this point for the second time this week: Dragic was the fourth-best guard in basketball last season. I voted him second-team All-NBA. There were legitimate reasons why his numbers dropped this year that had nothing to do with him and everything to do with the bizarre but lovable roster that Phoenix slapped together. Miami becomes a title contender if it can get him without touching its top four … at least until we remember that Dwyane Wade couldn’t play 38 MPG for four straight rounds even if Anthony Bosch, Brian McNamee and Ivan Drago’s trainer were training him. But we won’t remember that until, like, late April, right?"

Simmons suggested Miami was a title contender if the pieces fit and Wade was healthy. Even I didn't go that far. They MIGHT win the East if things go right, but winning the title? Really? Simmons got a bit too excited about that scenario.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'll still be shocked if they win a playoff series.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oh my god, that video was the greatest thing in the history of ever, I'm dying in my cubicle

    ReplyDelete
  52. Maybe not this year if they need some time to figure it out, but Miami is definitely good if it works out.

About KG going back to Minny.

Goldsberry: Man. Anthony Bennett is going to hate practice all of a sudden.

lololol so true. Forgot Bennett was on the Wolves.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Who knew Luna Vachon was so ahead of her time with the shaved side of the head look?

    ReplyDelete
  54. To be fair, you're a contender if you make the Finals and the East is weaker than a RAW no-contest finish

    ReplyDelete
  55. He's unstoppable right now. And he has a full head of hair!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Shoot Interview poll is up

    http://vote.pollcode.com/77163111

    ReplyDelete
  57. True. It's not like they would have trouble with Kane and the Big Show like Reigns.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yeah, there's some changes to be aware of, like the bank location change.

    ReplyDelete
  59. LOL at Miami being a title contender.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I never played the original so it's all fresh for me.

    ReplyDelete
  61. 1 reason I don't trust Enes Kanter

    https://twitter.com/Enes_Kanter/status/247165018053943296/photo/1

Yeah. NBA players shouldn't be doing that and risking their careers.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Luna: "I am a bandit from the untamed future. A place that was before and will be again."

    O...k then.

    ReplyDelete
  63. my network feed's suddenly become incredibly choppy. Did Yamaguchi-San show up?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Everybody gets a little too excited sometimes.

But I absolutely want to see Miami vs. Cleveland in round 1. Make it happen Silver!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Patriot's a sore loser.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Can't believe I forgot about the Sherri/Luna tear each other's clothes off angle.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Should have cheated.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Dragic
    Wade
    Deng
    Bosh
    Whiteside
Nice starting lineup but with McRoberts and Chalmers as your top bench options, you can forget it.

    ReplyDelete
  69. The original card for summerslam had Sherri & Tatanka vs. Bam Bam & Luna scheduled.

    ReplyDelete
  70. time for HIAC. this should be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Scotty 2 Hotty vs The Godfather!

    ReplyDelete
  72. If Bryan is going to be the face of smackdown and the show is really going to be built around him, his gear and merch should change so blue is the primary accent colour.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hey pal I heard Chalmers is available...

    ReplyDelete
  74. There was also a singles match scheduled between Marty Jannetty & Rick Martel before they brought in Ludvig Borga.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Was Online Onslaught considered a big thing? They were my go-to site for quite awhile. Don't even know if they're still going.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Oh fuck, Friar Ferguson.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I noticed last year he was greying. This concerns me. Russians don't live very long, so I hope he doesn't die on the ice or something from vodka overdose.

    ReplyDelete
  78. That one is a classic, as is the Brickhouse Brown shoot.

    ReplyDelete
  79. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 6:15 PM

    nWo Shawn tights. Sweet!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Yeah, they came down to help Money Inc beat down the Steiners but heel mis-communication ensues. They argue and the BB stare them down. No idea if it went anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  81. -6 right now...supposed to get to -17...with wind chills that might hit -40. What in the fuck?

    ReplyDelete
  82. love how Shawn's not his usual exuberant/cocky self in his entrance, and looking kinda worried about the match

    ReplyDelete
  83. Crowd is hot for Rybacks entrance...they come back from commercial and he's facing Kane complete with jobber entrance for him and the crowd is comatose.

Kane is the ultimate heat killer.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I suppose I'll suffer some Smackdown

    ReplyDelete
  85. Hey look Ryback dispatched Kane easier than Bryan and Reigns did

    ReplyDelete
  86. It's great that Ryback is allowed to get a clean win over Kane, but Bryan and Reigns are not.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Never thought I'd see the day where an episode of Raw was centered around the Beverly Brothers but there it was.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I just realized Ambrose is wearing a Member's Only jacket.

    ReplyDelete
  89. There is a guy in the second row in a like green t-shirt and a woman behind him in a black and white checkered shirt. They are really bringing some "High Energy" to the show.

    ReplyDelete
  90. These Raws are fun to watch. They go by super fast.

    ReplyDelete
  91. More Mad Max stuff...

    ReplyDelete
  92. Dean actually putting over the title? Get ready for non-title jobs!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Mother Nature's havin' fun out there MAGGLE

    ReplyDelete
  94. Did they just say there's honor in the IC title?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Steve Austin is hardly one of the great IC champions.

In fact he'd definitely be in the bottom 3rd.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Never saw that finish before.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Distraction job to R-Truth! Does that make him 5-19, now?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Annnnnd Barrett does the J O B

    To R-Truth

    ReplyDelete
  99. Matthew Perry can't NOT be Chandler.

    ReplyDelete
  100. He is neither handsome, strong, nor brave, and he doesn't always get his man.

    ReplyDelete
  101. goddamn, HIAC 1 is fucking incredible. been years since I watched this.

    ReplyDelete
  102. LOL!

These writers are absolute hot steaming shit. Once again it's a roll-up so Wade can instantly react to the loss as opposed to R-Truth hitting his finisher to make this win seem legit.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Jets are melting down. Caps on PP, delayed penalty on Jets, they stop playing, Backstrom shoots and scores. PP again because of delayed, and then Byfuglien fouls Ovie for a 2 man advantage.

    ReplyDelete
  104. This Luna promo is absolutely bat shit.

    ReplyDelete
  105. OMG! Jets kill off 30 seconds of 2 man, then they get a 5th man on ice during a 4 vs 1 entry WHILE in the PP. Backstrom scores an easy one for 4-1 lead with ANOTHER PP for the Caps.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Caps are 4/4 on the PP tonight. I sense 50 wings tonight night!

    ReplyDelete
  107. John Cena = 4 time US Champion?

    With 10 years between reigns?

    ReplyDelete
  108. Oh my fucking god! This team has been owned by Washington for years now. It's getting to the point of ridiculous. Not to mention they've been playing half the season on the PK for christ sake.

    ReplyDelete
  109. So Rusev has brought out Cena's evil side? Wasn't that Kane's goal a while ago?

    ReplyDelete
  110. I think we may have just a little reversal of opinion on this game, but it's at least cool to see another hockey fan on here.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I remember the 1st season as the Jets they won the season series against the Caps. Probably because the hilarious in division game travel from Washington to Winnipeg. I'm glad Kane isn't there anymore, he seemed to play well against the Caps.

    ReplyDelete
  112. ... and Bray Wyatt's goal... and Paul Heyman's goal...

    ReplyDelete
  113. That's pretty much been an annual Cena tradition angle for years now.

    ReplyDelete
  114. For whatever reason... Barrett has been the designated job guy for R-Truth. He's like the only guy Truth can beat.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I'm more of a Caps bandwagoner. I wasn't watching much hockey after Gretzky retired. Then I decided this Ovie guy is pretty good after back to back Hart winners and started watching the Caps, and some NFL randomly when nothing else is on.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I'm having a tough time recalling any babyfaces less over than New Day...ever.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I remember their last year in the SE division when the Jets had to win a crucial back to back against the Caps and got fucking smoked. I was worried about this game. Washington's got a HELL of a power play, and Jets like to play most of the game 4-on-5.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I remember that back to back, because the Caps were on this insane streak during the lockout and won like 15 in a row to get back into the Playoff race. Ovie finally returned to his MVP self after like 2 years of 30 goal seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I want the drugs whoever was using when they came up with and thought New Day would get over

    ReplyDelete
  120. Ovie puts on a hell of a show. I've gotta appreciate him even though I honestly can't stand the guy. I've always kind of liked Backstrom & Mike Green though. Fun team to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  121. IT'S THE ASCENSION!

    ReplyDelete
  122. I love this stupid team, but I have no idea which one is Konner and which is Viktor.

    ReplyDelete
  123. The schedule was out of control those years too. It seemed like Washington and the Jets played each other 20 times a year, and it would always be after long road trips for both teams.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Watching all of Ronda Rousey's fights online. Nobody has had an answer for her judo throws yet. Superior upper body strength and technique. Whoever beats her will need to find a counter for that. She looked vulnerable in her 3 rounder with Tate but her repeated throws just wore her opponent down. That said, so far she's been a beast.

    ReplyDelete
  125. My Client, bROCK Lesnar!February 19, 2015 at 6:51 PM

    Big ones Konner.

    ReplyDelete
  126. You think so? I guess you never know these days. I haven't heard any rumblings suggesting that's the case.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I have no idea. But it'd be funny and a HUGE blow to UFC if even she was on it.

I thought I saw ESPN air some UFC press conference addressing the PED use during lunch, but I don't know what was said.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Dana White Promises UFC Drug Problem 'Will Get Worse Before It Gets Better'

    Well points for honesty.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Ok what is New Day supposed to actually? I don't watch too much of the current stuff, I have no clue what their deal is other than they're a stable b/c they're all black?

    ReplyDelete
  130. Inspector Clouseau is on the case, Slaughter with his flashlight checking under the ring.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I think that statement could apply to any sport these days. I would be surprised if there was any sport that wasn't rampant with drug doping.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I think they are preaching wrestlers focusing on positive things in life.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Kind of hard to concentrate on smackdown with all my idiot upstairs neigbours banging on each others walls.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Rat Man is Konner.

    FIFY

    ReplyDelete
  135. It's got Vince's fingerprints all over it.

They chant New Day over and over and clap their hands together and maybe 25 people in the crowd join along in what used to be a guaranteed cheap crowd interaction spot.

    ReplyDelete
  136. If he actually said that, kudos. Not sure if it'll hurt the sport or not, but since they are subject to athletic commissions, it could be bad.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Finished s2 ep 4 of Broadcurch. It's picking up nicely, and the ending was kind of a mindfuck.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Yell out, "Go Around!" to confuse them.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Roman Reigns vs Luke Harper, wonder if Luke will bring anything extra outta this slug?

    ReplyDelete
  140. Hunter with one Hell of a puffy shirt.

    ReplyDelete
  141. It WAS nice in the Muscle and Fitness interview that Vince claimed Taker as his favorite, and his first reason was loyalty.

    ReplyDelete
  142. So it's Makin' A Difference Fatu?

    ReplyDelete
  143. So what happened was, Xavier Woods recruited Kofi and Big E talking about how they were being held back and making it kind of a racial thing. They worked heel on TV for about a week and were working heel on house shows for a couple weeks after that.

    Then Ferguson happened.

So wherever they were going with that, they scrapped it basically from the moment that made the news. They took them off TV and repackaged them as happy positive negroes who are turning the page on history and being happy because it's a new day.

I stil lwant to know where they were going with the original angle, it had to be better than this.

    ReplyDelete
  144. That's some 1994 shit right there.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Does this idiot bite his lip/tongue every other match now?

    ReplyDelete
  146. Vince calling Hunter Triple H...if I'm not mistaken, this would be the first PPV with that nickname. Don't remember it at SummerSlam or Ground Zero.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Triple H was what he was called behind the scenes almost from day one.

    ReplyDelete
  148. His no-selling would make Hawk proud

    ReplyDelete
  149. Yeah, I mean on camera.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Lynching Undertaker?

    ReplyDelete
  151. Couldn't have been worse than this

    ReplyDelete
  152. Shockingly, this Beverly Brothers face run isn't setting the world on fire.

    ReplyDelete
  153. He'll always be Terra Ryzin to me.

    ReplyDelete
  154. This place is poppin' tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  155. I bought it, but I was five at the time lol.

    ReplyDelete
  156. The original angle sounds like some half cooked NOD recycle. Still better than what they ended up doing. They should have realized they don't have the pop culture relevance anymore for their storylines to mean anything in relations to current events.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Only think I remember about the Beverly Brothers is they gave some jobber the Shaker Heights spike that nearly killed the poor jerk

    ReplyDelete
  158. This happened? I had no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Gotta floss, Roman!

    ReplyDelete
  160. Something something MAGGLE something something.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Damn one of the Animal Control stoners on Parks & Rec dropped dead today. Apparently he was one of the writers/execs on the show too?

Only 5 days till retirement no less.

    ReplyDelete
  162. "Harris Wittels, an executive producer from the popular sitcom “Parks and Recreation,” has died at 30."

    ReplyDelete
  163. Just what I want to see Big Show vs. Rowan

    ReplyDelete
  164. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn701jXWtkE A hearty fuck you to those that made me realize how much I love this song, thus getting it stuck in my head for 5 days lol

    ReplyDelete
  165. Right after WM 9. They literally built the entire episode around them, then next week they jobbed to Money Inc.

    ReplyDelete
  166. JR's lonely crusade against "idiots" saying they "know how to fall" continues.

    ReplyDelete
  167. I feel bad for Rowan, he's up there with New Day as unbelievably unover babyfaces.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Beau bailed on the promotion shortly after. Blake turned back stuck around for a while as a sad low card heel, but he was gone too by summerslam.

    ReplyDelete
  169. The Rangers scoring a pair of quick goals when trailing for second straight game!

    ReplyDelete
  170. The E always delivers.

    ReplyDelete
  171. So did Hogan make ANY WWF appearances between 9 and KotR?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Has there been anything worth listening to in the podcast world lately?

    ReplyDelete
  173. I mean, given that she's an Olympic medalist in judo it's unlikely anyone's going to be better than her at that any time soon.

The path to beating her is somewhat clear, strike with her, avoid clinches like the plague, work off your back and regain/hold guard. Has yet to be executed or even really tried. I think Miesha clinched with her 7-8 times in their UFC fight and wound up on her ass every single time. It's unclear as to whether she expected any different.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Geez, that's really messed up. Constantly did cameos on the show. Saw like 500 Phish concerts.

    ReplyDelete
  175. House show in Albany.

Him and Beefcake over Money Inc.

    ReplyDelete
  176. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CY2XtuxoEI

    I prefer this.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Jean-Pierre Levasque to me.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Pretty great in ring promo from Bret here. Seems to be setting up a Bret/Luger feud. Did they ever square off before Luger's face turn?

    ReplyDelete
  179. Cat and Ronda passed their pre-fight drug tests which given the current state of the UFC is good news I guess.

The long and short of it is that they're going to test guys out of competition and up the amount of guys who are getting randomly tested. It's unclear as to how cooperative the state commissions are going to be but this is the plan and if Nevada plays ball everyone else will fall into line sooner or later.

The internet MMA community expects a whole bunch of guys to suddenly retire or spontaneously blow out an ACL so they can get a year to get clean. They also expect Brock not to come back even though he's never failed a test in the NFL, NCAA, UFC, or anywhere else I'm aware of.

    ReplyDelete
  180. House shows, not TV though I don't think.

    ReplyDelete
