  1. Wrestlemania is gonna bomb!

    I love it MAGGLE.

  2. This is the greatest day in Maple Leafs history.

  3. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 26, 2015 at 5:22 PM

Doesn't imbue a lot of confidence in the months to come, does it?

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm beginning to think I might not even end up seeing it.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Go cavs.

This might be a preview of the nba finals.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Isn't Horton's career on it's ninth life due to injuries?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yes, that's the best part. Stash him on LTIR and he doesn't count against the cap

    ReplyDelete
  8. Jagr to the Panthers.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I need to see the Hawks play the Cavs. What the Hawks are doing is inexplicable.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Dale Tallon is kind of dumb. He let the Devils fleece him

    ReplyDelete
  11. Is Billy Gunn considered the good half of the Outlaws?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 26, 2015 at 5:28 PM

There's a good half to the Outlaws?

    ReplyDelete
  13. When I read that, I actually thought about the Carolina Panthers and thought WTF is Jagr doing on a football field. A second later I remembered Miami has a NHL team.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jagr's been in the NHL longer than the Panthers themselves. Thanks for the second rounder.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hopefully I don't crash my car on my way home; feeling sick as hell. Lol!

    ReplyDelete
  16. They found someone who can play defense?

    ReplyDelete
  17. As a show, it will be fine. However, they need to not build up Reigns like they have been and start having him kick ass and talk minimally or else he will continue to lose momentum

    ReplyDelete
  18. With bosh and rose (man that guy has no luck) hurt, the hawks is my last threat to the east

    ReplyDelete
  19. Clarkson is gone! Clarkson is gone! Cap relief for everyone! BEST DAY EVER

    ReplyDelete
  20. More work done on Chyna!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Shouldnt text and drove maggle

It is confirmed: Intercontinental Title on the line in a multi-man Ladder Match at WrestleMania, with Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan almost certainly involved.

    ReplyDelete
  24. R-truth wins, because fuck you, that's why.

    ReplyDelete
  25. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjicPV6pxaI

    Best utterly talentless wrestler ever.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Backstage interviewer Cornette?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 26, 2015 at 5:37 PM

If Vince wants to cause the IWC to combust, that's a great way to go about it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'd rather see a TLC for the tag titles. Usos vs Cesaro/Kidd vs Ascension vs another team. See if you can catch that Dudleys/EandC/Hardys magic.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lol. They gave Sarge Angle's music too!

    ReplyDelete
  30. LOL, someone actually traded for him?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Horton for Clarkson.

Columbus, I'M AFRAID I'VE GOT SOME BAD NEWS.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Fuji in an open thread. Dogs and cats living together. MASS HYSTERIA.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The Atlanta Hawks do not have a single NBA Hall of Famer playing for their team. They have a 8 game lead on the 2nd place Raptors! It's unreal. I cannot think of a single NBA champion that has 0 HoF players on it. Even the 2004 Detroit Pistons probably have Billiups and Rasheed Wallace. I haven't looked at their numbers, but it's probably borderline HoF worthy.

Horford might make it someday, and Korver might get in for making the most 3's of all time or something like that. None of their players are cornerstones of team building with the possible exception of Horford.

I might end up rooting for them just to see how far the NBA has broken the game to allow small ball to work.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Columbus is dumb. Isnt their like 4-5 years left on Clarkson's contract?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 26, 2015 at 5:39 PM

The problem is that people cared about those three teams. The only team that people could marginally care for at WrestleMania would be Cesaro/Kidd.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Who on Atlanta will cover LeBron? Sefolosha? We've seen that fail in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Nobody cared about them until they attempted suicide in stunt show matches.

    ReplyDelete
  38. LOL, that's possibly the dumbest fucking trade in sports since the C's traded for Vin Baker.

    ReplyDelete
  39. However, Millsap and Horford will have a field day against Cleveland's frontcourt.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Nonis may have been the dumb cocksucker who signed the deal but to find another sucker...wow

    ReplyDelete
  41. Michael Hayes TOTALLY got the Hardy's over!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ludvig Borga is way more entertaining than I remembered. Dude is pretty charismatic.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Who is guarding the Hawks? Love is useless, Mozgov can't guard out to the 3 point line, Smith isn't particularly good at defense, and Irving is still doing the matador defense.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It isn't really that dumb for Columbus. Instead of paying a guy who can't play, they're paying a guy who can, although he isn't very good anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Raw must have been fucking amazing in 1997, because the PPVs have been dogshit.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Now in TEW I'm prepping Seth Rollins for a world title win. And Miz & Damien Sandow have somehow become two of the most over heels in the company.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I just don't know what's going to happen. NBA Playoffs traditionally favor superstars, but sometimes they still fail. Dallas in 2011, Detroit in 2004, SA last year. LeBron had a good series, but nobody else on the Heat did.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Dr Facts is Reigns' #1 fanFebruary 26, 2015 at 5:43 PM

    John Jangle Cenasmith.......ABADOOOOOOOO!!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. The defense is still lacking but i dont feel that theres a team in the east that can beat the cavs in 7

    ReplyDelete
  50. Im just burning time before class.

    Trust. This is an anomaly

    ReplyDelete
  51. Dr Facts is Reigns' #1 fanFebruary 26, 2015 at 5:45 PM

    I'm still at work.

    ReplyDelete
  52. So I'm watching Wrestlemania 2...how did they let Dan Spivey look so much like Hulk Hogan? I would have thought Vince would ask him to switch his look up.

    ReplyDelete
  53. It's incredibly dumb. They had guaranteed cap space for five years and they chose to use that cap space on someone who is awful.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Raw was amazing in 97. Problem is for the PPV that the main event scene in 97 was stacked but the midcard was shit.

    ReplyDelete
  55. TJ: I'm a bit of a softie, but I loved this exchange.

    http://www.cagesideseats.com/2015/2/26/8116995/awwww

    ReplyDelete
  56. Smarks only deal in absolutes.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Pretty sure that was probably the point.

    ReplyDelete
  58. The Golden Boy!
Honesty, he was nowhere near ready for the WWF when he first signed with them. He actually spent about a year off TV as a heel wrestling in opening matches on house shows against the Sam Houston's and Scott Casey's of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thanks Kevin Dunn for zooming in on Bastion Booger's ass while he is bend over.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Watching the Lesnar-Goldberg clusterfuck from WM20. WWE, this is a window into your future.

    ReplyDelete
  61. the two 97 Raws on the Network are way better than almost every PPV we've seen so far.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm completely positive that Id rather be talking wrestling here than pulling up disgusting bathroom tiles.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I can't believe I'm saying this but WWE should reach out to Jeff Hardy. He would actually be a good jolt right about now.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I still think the Bulls have a small chance if they can get their defense going. The Gasol/Noah thing isn't working too well recently, but they've been playing without Rose on and off all season.

Hawks have a much better chance. I do not know how they do it other than I know all 5 players can hit 3's. Korver is deployed in a way where there is no help defense or double-teaming against the Hawks like 90% of the time because he's shooting 50% from the 3, and the team as as whole is hitting .383, 2nd in the NBA.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ah. A rematch of a match that has played out in some different form for the past six months. Sign me the hell up for that.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Watching Fresh off the Boat. This is pretty hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Dr Facts is Reigns' #1 fanFebruary 26, 2015 at 5:47 PM

    The porn?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Horton's contract wasn't insured and they don't have the money to just waste 5.3 mil.

    ReplyDelete
  69. It's a new TV show on ABC about an Asian family that moves to Orlando where everyone is white.

    ReplyDelete
  70. He isn't totally off base. Edge & Christian and the Hardys didn't have much heat until they had that Tag Ladder match at No Mercy 1999.

    Dudleys were over upon arrival.

    ReplyDelete
  71. You're thinking of 'Fuck on the Boat'

    ReplyDelete
  72. Watching Heavy Metal Van Hammer squashes on youtube. He used to carry a flying V guitar to the ring with him and swing it around his neck lol.

    ReplyDelete
  73. It's just weird. The announcers don't seem to call attention to it, he's like 1980s Evad Sullivan.

    ReplyDelete
  74. What are you taking classes for?

    ReplyDelete
  75. David Clarkson is a waste of $5.4 million. He sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  76. It might have staying power. It gets better each week.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Jolt is that what the kids are going heroin these days?

  78. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©February 26, 2015 at 5:49 PM

    And will have 50/50 booking....

    ReplyDelete
  79. Love the match where he and I think it was Jack fought to the back and ended up in a rodeo corral and Abdullah the Butcher comes out and hits him with a shovel.

    ReplyDelete
  80. What part of Orlando is that?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Not really. Dudleys didn't get over until they started putting women through tables.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Thats how orlando used to do it some years back with terk/nelson/petrius/ et al

Living and dying by the three dont work in the ppstseason

    ReplyDelete
  83. I'm binging all the episodes back to back. It's very good. The humor is subtle and the writing is fantastic.

Also, FUCKING EMPIRE. That show should CLEAN UP at the Emmys.

    ReplyDelete
  84. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©February 26, 2015 at 5:50 PM

It's on ABC, so obviously it's the part of Orlando near Disney World.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Young Triple H would have been way better as a face.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Better wrestling opinions hopefully.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Logistics and supply chain mgmt

    ReplyDelete
  88. Fuj used that as his screenname for a while a year or two ago.

    ReplyDelete
  89. ......kinda liked Hippy Van Hammer with his FAAAAAR OOOUUUUT theme

    ReplyDelete
  90. Real talk: Yoko/Crush/Borga/Fuji/Cornette is the most underrated stable of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  91. he said off the boat, not motorboat

  93. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©February 26, 2015 at 5:52 PM

With their charisma, can you blame them?

    ReplyDelete
  94. That match and the Starrcade Battlebowl where he beaut up his partner and the guy spends the whole match crawling to the ring only for Cactus to tag him in so he can take the pin were the 2 matches that made me a Mick Foley fan.

Plus his daughter...Jesus Christ, where did those genes come from?

    ReplyDelete
  95. Anyone who read that, you are right to be confused.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Hold on a minute while I screenshot this.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I have a soft spot for 2 I love the battle royal, the tag title match, the Funks and most of the other matches are pretty short and inoffensive.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Especially with the Quebecers and Polo

    ReplyDelete
  99. That's why I'm so shocked they let Butch Reed dye his hair.

    ReplyDelete
  100. His wife was a hottie.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Was that late period WCW? I don't remember that at all. I only liked him when he had pleather tights with musical notes on them and this was his theme.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjicPV6pxaI

    ReplyDelete
  102. Borga's deadpan sarcastic promos are hilarious. How did Vince fuck this dude up?

    ReplyDelete
  103. didn't he fuck up himself with injuries?

    ReplyDelete
  104. The battle royal is awesome. It's obvious that the football guys are having a blast, and some of them weren't bad in the ring. Bill Fralic, for instance. Plus the rate Hart Foundation Blue and Black Attack look.

    ReplyDelete
  105. No argument there.

    ReplyDelete
  106. That's what SA did last year, and what Dallas did in 2011. SA was scorching at the right time, which is why I didn't think they could repeat. Golden State's offense is outside-in, and that would have never worked in the past. It's not easy to do, but when it works there's very little that can prevent it. It's no longer just 1 or 2 players that can hit the 3, it's the entire team (both GS and ATL).

I'm very excited to see what happens though.

    ReplyDelete
  107. You make it seem like im this contrarian when i just like to deconstruct wrestling to weed out who the fuck knows wtf they are talking about.

The vast majority dont have a clue.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I am hopefully going back to school in the fall.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Dipnanudupnaucottoneyedjoe

    ReplyDelete
  110. Constance Wu is adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  111. who on earth gave Sgt Slaughter almost 20 minutes in a PPV match in 1997?

    ReplyDelete
  112. Its just a joke dude.

    ReplyDelete
  113. No fucking idea.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Ridiculous NWA Jarrett!

    ReplyDelete
  115. damnit..don't bring her up...every damn time....I'm all hey I'm a young guy...what Foley's daughter? the little girl crying in beyond the mat?...oh crap I'm old.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Yeah, he talks about her model career in his first book. Still you'd think those Mick genes would get in there and ruin everything. But Noelle is just ridiculously attractive. If she can wrestle she could get over huge as the Princess of Hardcore or something.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Thanks. Its going to be a pain in the ass to do it while working full-time but its now or never.

    ReplyDelete
  118. She has his personality.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I'm getting close to giving in and checking out Empire.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Awww... This boy miss me...

    I miss you too cult.

    <3

    ReplyDelete
  121. Michael Cole just called it his in ring debut with a straight face. Wow.

    (what's your timestamp btw? I'm at 1:39)

    ReplyDelete
  122. 35 here...I hear that.

    ReplyDelete
  123. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/hockey/leafs-beat/mirtle-david-clarkson-and-his-buyout-proof-contract/article17783243/

    This makes it even funnier.

    ReplyDelete
  124. The thought of Jeff Hardy going against the likes of Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler, and Daniel Bryan intrigue me.

    ReplyDelete
  125. So...Taker gets to kill Jarrett? Okay.

    ReplyDelete
  126. So I got into NXT late..trying to play catch up....would Corey Graves have amounted to anything?

    ReplyDelete
  127. That launched them to the next level but they definitely got good receptions right away just from ECW recognition alone.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Same here.

I just like more money and wifey makes a ton more.

While the faux pimp in me loves that that money comes to me... The man in me is kinda upset.

But she got degrees so... Yeah...

  130. He would have been a fantastic fake CM Punk.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Del Rio time.

But I wanna see what Rex's has against Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Jarrett's ring gear is terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  133. his entrance music didn't win any awards either

    ReplyDelete
  134. Thursday Night Smackdown playas!

    ReplyDelete
  135. Biff Kensington Has a PosseFebruary 26, 2015 at 6:04 PM

What does Bryan dream of, when he takes a little Bryan snooze? Does he dream of mauling Cena, or Brie Bella in her Brie Mode suit? Don't you worry your pretty bearded head, we're gonna push you away from the main to the IC title instead. And then we're gonna push our boy toy Reigns and then we're gonna put him in the Hall of Fame. Reigns, Reigns, Oh Reigns Raining Raining Reigns Reigns Reigns...

But if his push stalls and the fan base snickers,
Well then we'll just push him harder.

    ReplyDelete
  136. \_0___/

    ReplyDelete
  137. Bryan still does have some devoted followers.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Now he's feuding with BNB? The guy who hasn't won in forever and is already feuding with 23 other people. Wow

    ReplyDelete
  139. Not by my reckoning.

    ReplyDelete
  140. That bout of fervor for SmackDown was extinguished quickly!

    ReplyDelete
  141. Ooh, smackdown has new graphics for their name keys!

    ReplyDelete
  142. Exactly how many people are going to be in the IC match?

    ReplyDelete
  143. Sooooo...I just got the wwe network alert. How fucking depressing and funny. He's in a fucking multi man ladder match....for the fucking IC title....lololol wow they couldn't even run a mitb? And Bryan has been ambrosed

    ReplyDelete
  144. yea watching him and Zane right now and it feels like a case of a pretty good match in spite of Graves

    ReplyDelete
  145. Tonight's main event is a [six man] TAG TEAM MATCH! Holla holla holla!

    ReplyDelete
  146. 5 or 6.....for the jobber belt.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Positive: they're going to use the IC belt as the Wrestling Belt, and the World as the Sports Entertainment belt. Smarks can beat the traffic at live shows.

Negative: this is too fucking obvious and they'll never do it.

    ReplyDelete
  148. If I had my druthers and if I had my wish of being granted the power to change any one thing about WWE you know what i would pick?

GOING BACK to the 2003 SmackDown intro with the black and white and the "I want it all" song with the graphics and entrance and the whole 9 yards.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Man that's one hell of a demotion. He doesn't even get to work with a top guy at Mania. They could have at least gave him UT or something

    ReplyDelete
  150. Looking through some old Apter mags from the early 90s. So great.

One article had a line about how dusty rhodes in his prime could split a pea with a single dropkick.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Well I think I'm out on Bryan. That means the only guy in the wwe I'm even remotely into is cena. I think its nxt for me. Why can't there be other wrestling to watch? Do I just switch out to NJPW? I don't know but I can't watch this anymore and I don't even think I can pay for the archives.

    ReplyDelete
  152. so Taker/Jarrett gets 5 minutes, even though it started well... but a Sgt. Slaughter match got 20 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I was thinking recently of doing Bryan-Taker at WM 29 and throwing Punk into the World Title match.

    ReplyDelete
  154. That was fucking pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  155. So why do you think that wrestling went from a weekend show to a week night show? I know Monday night war and all but for years and years weekends was where it is at.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Ziggler or sheamus one on one would have been way better. I honestly hope the smark crowd turns on Bryan now too.

    ReplyDelete
  157. The Slaughter match, or Taker/Jarrett? Both?

    ReplyDelete
  158. The english versions of NJPW are available online. Watch the first couple of episodes (Esp. episode 3) and see what you think.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I'm fed up. Thankfully spring training games start next week, and the MLB season isn't far away. Cancelling the Network on Saturday morning, and then I might just be done with the product.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I think about following NJPW....but I never do.

I've been telling myself I was going to start following NJPW since 2011 lol.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Jarrett. At least the Slaughter match kind of helped Hunter.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I think he's above those two at this point for Mania. They don't have many options but BNB and R-Truth? that's a big fuck you

    ReplyDelete
  163. yes, at least ONE big star laid down for HHH, despite what he says.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I'm still in but having a strict only PPV rule helps.

    ReplyDelete
  165. My guess is they believe that's when people are in a tv watching mood. WCW ran from 6-8 for that reason. No one was doing anything during that time so why not watch wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  166. A fucking multi man ic title match...wow....that is actually worse than anything I imagined. People clowned witw for saying Bryan wasn't even gonna make wrestlemania. This is one step better. Barely.

    ReplyDelete
  167. LOLCenaWins your heart.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Watching Lesnar vs Eddie from NWO 04 for the first time. I've heard good things.

    ReplyDelete
  169. We cloned WitW because he took seven spittle covered paragraphs to say that.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Yes come to the NJPW bandwagon.

    ReplyDelete
  171. To play devil's advocate, the IC title would look good on Bryan, and I see him more as an IC champ (in the old school sense) than I do a world champion. If only the IC title still meant what it did in the 80's...

    ReplyDelete
  172. Going to NXT for a while would do wonders for Miz

    ReplyDelete
  173. love that match. I'll add it to the list of shit I should watch between now and Saturday when I cancel the network.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Its just hard not to be so disgusted that it even ruins my enjoyment of old wrestling. Wow...he's in a throw away match that means nothing. For the ic belt...well I'm speechless.

    ReplyDelete
  175. lol. Cancelling until WM?

    ReplyDelete
  176. Miz has officially reached jobber status

    ReplyDelete
  177. Miz is good in that role. He's always over as a heel so any face you put against him will be cheered.

    ReplyDelete
  178. What kind of Asians? Iranians? Siberians? Chinese? Filipinos?

    ReplyDelete
  179. Its been decades since that belt wasn't laughable. Winning that match would be the nail in his coffin so I actually kind of hope he does. I just can't believe they threw him in the dumpster with all those jobbers for that crappy belt.

    ReplyDelete
  180. So Bryan gets the I.C. belt and Cena gets the U.S. belt? Are they pushing the secondary titles?

    ReplyDelete
  181. Austin-Rock three minute match? Sure.

    ReplyDelete
  182. I'm a freebird, what's your excuse?

    ReplyDelete
  183. If you get a guy over then why not push him? Guess I should stop asking stuff like that and just watch the show

    ReplyDelete
