Comments

  1. Fuck. The day really got away from me. Didn't have a chance to do any Lucha Underground reviews today. Sorry to disappoint.

  2. The one that went "NA na na na NAPA KNOW HOW!"?

    ReplyDelete
  3. yeah, I love that

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm partial to Napa know-how. I think they've stopped using it but that song was the bidness

I've had the O'Reilly Auto Parts jingle stuck in my head all day. Oh-oh-oh O'Reilly...

    ReplyDelete
  6. I don't get the El Rey network or Destination America. They can put a shitty reality show about wrestling and being a mortician or something on a relatively big channel, but not actual wrestling?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Have Balor and Itami ever had a match against each other in Japan?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Anyone tried Coca Cola Life yet? I finally saw it in the store. Pricey, but I really dig the green label. I plan to try it eventually, but today was not that day.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Having a nice pot roast for dinner.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Why did the United States Football League fail?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Do you at least have the dawgs?

    ReplyDelete
  12. The only flavored Coca Cola I like is the Coca Cola lime.

    ReplyDelete
  13. What's supposed to be different about it? I've never heard of it.

    ReplyDelete
  14. There's a 30 for 30 about it! You can learn.

I hope the WWE collapses. No company, with that many resources and talent, should be allowed to squander such promise unabated and still make people filthy rich. Fuck them.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The drink contains Truvia, a branded form of stevia extract. Stevia has no calories.
Coca-Cola Life is the first branded Coke product to use stevia leaf extract.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Nice! That's an excellent show actually from the episodes I've seen.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Burnt Biscuit! Biff KensingtonFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:31 PM

There's a couple of 30 for 30 documentaries that are really strong. Though the one about Tim Richmond and Magic Johnson were really heartbreaking.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It is. I haven't seen them all but the ones I have seen are high class.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Then TNA will finally win!

    ReplyDelete
  21. That crap has cost me fantasy points too

    ReplyDelete
  22. Nah, they'll collapse once they run out of WWE storylines to copy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Just like sports teams with off-brand color apparel, I don't remix sodas. I only indulge in the color/flavor God intended it to be. That means no green Yankee hats. You people know who you are.

    ReplyDelete
  24. They always do it up big for March Madness

    ReplyDelete
  25. I've lost points from forgetting to check in the early afternoon, but that's the first time I've seen something that... dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Adam "Colorado" CurryFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:34 PM

At first I thought this said sativa extract and really excited.

    ReplyDelete
  27. GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS?!

    ReplyDelete
  28. JW Tully/Arn vs Luger/Windham at Clash I. Craziest crowd heat and pop I've ever heard.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It's funny watching these early SNME and it's weird seeing Hogan put over Andre way more than he puts himself over here.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Our anniversary?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Mattress...mattress...come get your bed-ucation...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Adam "Colorado" CurryFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:36 PM

I don't like rum, it gives me a headache.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Maybe you should get a decent package?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Burnt Biscuit! Biff KensingtonFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:36 PM

    No worries.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Burnt Biscuit! Biff KensingtonFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:36 PM

I can think of no greater justice, than for Vince McMahon to lose out in the end to an incompetent buffoon 'Rasslin' promoter.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yeah, I caved and bought more cheap rum. Admiral Nelson and I are good buddies. Screw the big day tomorrow. I'm getting lit! Big night of TV. New episode of the middle. 2 debut episodes of Fresh off the boat. New Sunny. New Workaholics. New Modern Family. New Broad City. I LOVE WEDNESDAY NIGHT! HUUUMP DAAAY!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Not too domesticated to be my dedicated NXT reviewer. It's an honor and a privilege. I hope you don;t mind me releasing details too soon. Frankly, I'm too excited to hold it all in. We've got a really great group working on the new blog project and I'm really excited about it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The green packaging is certainly pleasing to the eye.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hmm. I'm not much of a soda drinker but this sounds kinda interesting. I may try it out just cause

    ReplyDelete
  40. Looks like there's some on YouTube.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think if WWE collapsed Vince would declare bankruptcy, and then eventually start up a new wrestling company.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Burnt Biscuit! Biff KensingtonFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:37 PM

I don't often drink rum, but when I do I drink Malibu, because Malibu Rum milkshakes are pretty awesome. And I'm married and thus domesticated.

This has been a pretty good match.

    ReplyDelete
  44. God, ESPN can be downright retarded sometimes.

Alex Stalock's latest news: He'll start Thursday for the Sharks.
Antti Niemi's latest news: He'll start Thursday for the Sharks, after backing up Stalock tonight.

Both notes are from the SAME REPORTER, so somebody fucked up royally. NHL.com it is, then...

    ReplyDelete
  45. Pork tenderloin here and a nice rice pilaf.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Working late tonight so I grabbed the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad from Panera.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I don't like the flying double foot stomp as a finisher.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yeah, that one might hurt, but blame that on the coach. Or on the player if he somehow gets banged up before the game. (I've had that happen once, with a spot starter.)

    ReplyDelete
  49. I get that and DA but no idea about El Rey. I think I might have it though

    ReplyDelete
  50. I get DA and AXS, but not El Rey.

    ReplyDelete
  51. So in the news, some dimwit in Congress wants to repeal the FDA rule that restaurant employees be required to wash their hands after using the bathroom.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I know I don't get AXS, which has the NJPW show.

    ReplyDelete
  53. That ought to be an MDK shot we almost never see.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Extant1979 - Mr. Cable AccessFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:42 PM

Just seems like too risky a move to do. I don't understand why anyone would agree to take that.

    ReplyDelete
  55. My favorite is the ol' "He was first off of ice at practice, indicating that he will start" which is not the case every time,

    ReplyDelete
  56. Just taking Sullivan's double stomp looks dangerous enough.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Damn right. Clash I had a HOT crowd, even for some of the more questionable matches.

    ReplyDelete
  58. To reduce regulatory burden. What a joke!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I do get DA, and I'd have to check on El Rey. Their site says I should, but I'm not in a position to check the home TV right now.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I had this really creepy boss. He was a total douche bag. I had to meet with him every day at 7:30 to explain everything that was going on, on-site so he would be prepared for an 8am meeting with higher ups. One FRIDAY at the end of our meeting he tells me he has something he wants to show me. Something really funny. He pulls up the Hump Day commercial. This is a good 3-4 months after the ad debuted. He starts raising the roof and saying, "HUMP DAY!" and laughing his uncontrollable ferret laugh. I looked at him and said, "It's Friday. TGIF." And left his office. The next week on TUESDAY in he showed it again for everyone at the 8am meeting. I had been making fun of him for showing it to me on Friday, so the everyone in the meeting was just cracking up laughing. He called me into his office later in the day to talk about how well it went and how he really felt like he was finally starting to connect with people. He was truly the absolute worst and I hated him.

  61. Adam "Colorado" CurryFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:42 PM

    The fuck? Why?

    ReplyDelete
  62. I bet he's someone who doesn't wash after a piss. Gross.

    ReplyDelete
  63. (sigh)

That politican should be forced to eat only in restaurants where there is no hand washing.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Vanilla Coke is my jam

    ReplyDelete
  65. But he does talk about his psalms and John 3:16

    ReplyDelete
  66. Balor must be doing it safely otherwise WWE wouldn't let him do it. I'd be more afraid taking the Banzai Drop or Earthquake's butt-drop.

That being said, the stomp...I dunno, it just doesn't grab me as a finish. It's not a top player's finish, if that makes sense. Balor will probably change it when he moves to the main roster.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I could see Vince doing something like this.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Oh, and I found Dougie on Deadspin.

    Almost there!

    ReplyDelete
  70. He just needed a cheap bottle of thunderbird.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Blah blah regulations blah. Foodborne illness kills and people want to die on that hill.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Favorite TV night of the week? Wednesday is pretty stacked, but I'll have to go with Tuesday since my two favorite shows are on that night: Justified and Friday Night Tykes.

    ReplyDelete
  73. "I don't have any problem with Starbucks if they choose to opt out of this policy as long as they post a sign that says we don't require our employees to wash their hands after leaving the restroom," Tillis told the Bipartisan Policy Center. "The market will take care of that. It's one example."

    ReplyDelete
  74. Apparently ROH is in some financial trouble. I hope they pull through. One less major wrestling company would be a big blow to the Pro Wrestling world.

    ReplyDelete
  75. That's him. The only question is who we hold responsible if there's an outbreak. I'm going to go with Rep. Tillis for starting a movement nobody wanted.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Kid ROCK BawitdabadadangadangdFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:47 PM

Owen on color... was not a great idea.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I'll just not eat anywhere he eats.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Adam "Colorado" CurryFebruary 4, 2015 at 5:49 PM

Just for the record I would still wash my hands after using the crapper even if I wasn't required to. Hell, I wash my hands like every 15 minutes while I'm working.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Events from Greensboro, NC had fire hot crowds. For a long time it was Jim Crockett Promotions' major city - all the angles ended up there because it was the biggest arena they ran.
