  1. I have a whole block of Raws from 1993 to watch before I get to Clash 24, so I gonna use this as a 1993 Open Mic Night instead.

  2. thats just it.. no more manufactured journey.. why must every WM end with confetti? Let Lesnar destroy him and just be done with it and have us begging for the confetti ....when it happens

  3. While you windjammers were dicking around, I made my on-camera debut on the nightly Pac-12 Network Sports Report. That's right, now that I've been on national TV, I'm now bigger than the BoD and leaving for better things, and will only come back around WrestleMania season to boost slagging ratings by 0.2.

    PEACE, DICKHOLES

  4. I just want alcohol. I am so fucking pissed about Moncada going to the Red Sox.

Saw Beach Blast 92 a couple of weeks back - what a great show.

  5. I was on ESPN2 when I was 15 years old.

Wow. Someone stole my gimmick. And did it better.

Fuck, I need to change my nickname.

    This day fucking blows.

  10. Dosen't sound crazy at all, actually. Reigns isn't ready, Lesnar would arguably be more popular on the night anyway, and the heel winning has been done before without the world falling apart.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'm actually not convinced that Reigns is gonna win, either. Seeing how Vince has been flip-flopping on the WM main because of Reigns' crowd reactions, I can totally see him deciding to keep the belt on Lesnar before WM or even calling an audible during the match of the crowd eats Reigns alive.

  12. Agree 100%. Having a young daughter has changed my perspective on that a lot. I would never let her think of them as role models as divas.

Besides, my little burgeoning feminist would probably think there's something wrong with them referring to themselves as divas.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Right, calling them 'divas' just belittles and depreciates their talents. These ladies have more skill and training than any of us commenting on this page but there has been too many times where I hear a fan say that someone like AJ or Natalya are excellent fighters 'for a woman'. You'd never hear that about a male fighter

  14. "It really is a case where having the 2 World titles would have helped them immensely."

No. No. No. No.No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

Please don't encourage them to bring back another World Title. They can't even handle the belts they have.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Well, keeping the title on him for a year hoping he'll get popular was the plan with Punk and that ended up horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  16. To channel Michael Xavier for a second, this is actually something everyone says Hogan is awesome at - he continually asks "what's next?" and would generally ensure there was at least a 2-3 month game plan beyond the immediate angle. They need a guy like that there.

  17. honestly I wouldn't mind having brock-reigns in one title match and db vs. rollins or ziggler or sheamus in the other title match. of course in this scenerio the titles are booked as equally important, one match isn't shortened to give the other match more time, one of the matches doesn't open the show...

  18. Wasn't the plan for Reigns to hold the belt until about June, when after a grueling victory Rollins chases in. Rollins holds the belt, defending it but deliberately avoiding The Juggernaut, until we get Rollins/Reigns at SummerSlam. Reigns goes over and becomes the two-time Champion. Sounds thrilling. The joke is that of the three ex-Shield members Reigns is the one guy that the fans don't buy as a legitimate World Title contender. That's all folks!

  19. Yeah, but that isn't what they were doing the last few years.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah and they (NJPW) can headline the freaking Tokyo Dome with an IC title match. That's what happens when invest time and money in building a secondary title. And let's not forget that the IC title was throw-away prop given to MVP for one-off US tour and they've built it into the second or third most important title in the industry.

    ReplyDelete
  21. NJPW IC Title > WWE Heavyweight Title. Quality of matches, headlining cards, house show drawing power, PPV sales, actually almost any measure you want.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Like that's going to work! Look at that scrub Nakamura headlining the Toyko Dome for the NJPW IC Title in front of 35,000 people. Total failure, same as putting the secondary belt on Tanashashi. Leaves room sobbing to himself at the state of the WWE...

  23. Here's an idea - have Vince run Raw, and HHH run Smackdown. As in each books/mandates the entire show as a separate entity. Then we can see if HHH can cut it working completely solo.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ziggler is a mixed bag. He is a good Wrestler, but he is also a PG clown and is not a bad ass.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Reigns has already been given the ball. He won the rumble, he main events RAW and main evented last night's PPV. He already has the ball and he's already fumbling it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I assumed from the get-go that if Bryan, Reigns or whoever would be facing Brock would lose to him if they weren't over enough to take . I always figured Brock would be TAKING the title, I'm nervous about them keeping it on him all the way to 32. It'd be awesome, but they don't seem to wanna do awesome stuff anymore.
