  1. Well you figure if Koko B. Ware can be in a shoot interview, then anyone can be in a shoot interview.

  2. DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

  3. Often the best shoots aren't those with the main eventers but among those in the undercard.

  5. Koko B. Ware was on Wrestling with Death

  6. I wonder if the Birdman shoot addresses the rumour that Hogan wanted all the workhorse WCW cruiserweights depushed so the division could be built around Koko.

  9. New Jack.

Let's read about Terri Runnels and ass-eating. Let's smut up the blog for a bit.

  10. Now that Caps game is over, I switch to Nat Geo Wild and Syfy. Fucking Westminster Dog show is on Nat Geo. Sigh.

  11. If I know wrestling, and I like to think that I do, right now there is some wrestler on the indies ready to introduce his Z-PAK gimmick.

  12. Main event segment on Smackdown...out waddle Big Show & Kane.

    The ride never ends.

  13. Dallas has been pretty iffy since the trade. It's not Rondo's fault though. They just have no big man off the bench anymore, and it's killing them.

  14. Big Show vs Kane. Loser leaves town stips. Book that shit vince

  15. JR trying to sell Brad Armstrong like fucking Steve Austin.. Big Cat had him in the rack and won the match and Dangerously is all like... "He gave up" and JR loses it...

"HE DIDN"T GIVE UP!!! THE REF STOPPED THE MATCH! BRAD ARMSTRONG HAS NEVER GIVEN UP!!!"

    "I Heard him"

"NO YOU DIDN"T!! BECAUSE BRAD ARMSTRONG HAS NEVER GIVEN UP!!"

  16. Some Guy was actually a WCW hotline guy - but I forget his name. At least I could remember Mark Madden's - but not this joker. And this was during the period they gave the hotline for free on the Internet. Legally free by WCW themselves.

  17. Yea and it's lazy writing.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Then don't fucking read it you self-important twat.

  19. The QOTD format was awful. Let's use today's QOTD to discuss yesterday's QOTD. Also let's clog up the main page too!

It would've been so much better had you simply interacted with the regulars in the comment section rather than I HAVE SPOKEN and putting your stuff at the top. The fact that me and parallax basically had to browbeat you into actually responding says a lot.

The too much PBP was a criticism directed at everyone who just does rote PBP. I used to do it too so I know.

I actually like the idea of reviewing B shows, since that's something not many people do it. I've criticised other people for beating stuff to death or praising writers who do something differently.

Note when Caliber felt the need to do listicles in a sad attempt to rip off Cracked, but on the flip side, there's Logan. I find his magazine review column to be fascinating and a nice way to be nostalgic when we all read wrestling magazines.

Late 90s wrestling? Eh, been there, done that, and we have two other reviewers reviewing the same time period. We don't need three.

For someone who doesn't want to engage, you sure do engage a lot. Oh and an Anne Frank-Helen Keller joke. The kind of biting humour we can come to expect from Chris F-B!

  20. People who criticise WWE should not watch the product.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Suddenly your obsession with Jesse Baker makes more sense. This is really sad.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Why are you not on all of Scott's threads complaining about lazy writing? Why limit your contributions to this one? :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. I've complained about it before. I pointed out that for his Rumble rant, he really shouldn't make it one big paragraph.

I think he's even discussed it as well.

    ReplyDelete
  24. It's funny how one argument is refuted when applied to WWE yet DON'T READ IT seems to be the popular mantra whenever anyone disagrees with a writer here

    ReplyDelete
  25. I've taken Scott to task when it's been warranted.

    ReplyDelete
  26. exactly i made no sense why would a wcw wrestler sign for a match in an nwo ppv.nick patrick refs all matches the commentators bury wcw talent and no ring music.and then the nwo guys come out in garbage trucks wtf?

  27. Wasn't it Jeff Katz?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yep. He's the guy who did the Wrestling Revolution Project on Kickstarter and never fulfilled any of the pledges because he got cleaned out from some dodgy investment banker that was running around Hollywood (Katz was a film executive at the time)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Actually, I'm not giving you the "don't read it" argument. It's the pattern of incessant and repeated complaining. You did the same thing with Jesse - whenever he'd show up you'd ask the whole "explain to me why Brock is..." literally every time he posted. Legit man, you seem like a decent guy except when you go on these crusades against people. It doesn't even read like constructive criticism, it just reads like you have an axe to grind. I don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. God, you contribute nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The Jesse thing is a running gag at this point. His opinion of Brock Lesnar is so absurd and it's hilarious how he refuses to discuss it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. No, this is just plain stupid. You have a very limited number of choices for watching wrestling on basic cable in prime time, while your choices for authors writing about wrestling on the internet. This is akin to comparing "why don't you stop watching football if you don't like the guy your team drafted" to "why don't you stop reading this guy's football blog and find another one to read instead if you think the dude's a moron?"

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't think he's a moron, I just think there's a lot more that could be added to his reviews when it comes to style and substance.

I actually like the idea of reviewing the B shows. I dug the Worldwide review today!
