Will Rock make the Five Timers Club?
ReplyDeleteHow great would it be if the Rock flew to SF from NY then showed up at Mania on an actual helicopter, "straight from SNL" to open the show?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the spoilers......
ReplyDeletehttp://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2015/03/nypd-caught-red-handed-sanitizing-police-brutality-wikipedia-entries/
ReplyDeleteNaughty naughty..
is he part of better than ezra??
ReplyDeleteWow. There's a group I haven't thought of in many years.
ReplyDeleteSaw them play at River Rave in 1995. That was 20 years ago. Fuck, I'm getting old.
ReplyDeleteRock always brings the goods on SNL.
ReplyDeleteSorry about that.
ReplyDeleteOnly you care!
ReplyDeleteMe too. And I'm remind by songs that were released when I was in my mid 20s that are now 20 themselves.
ReplyDeleteProbably lol
ReplyDeleteIt's cool. I figured Eddie couldn't wrestle at the tapings, but the rumblings were that they'd still hold onto the titles. Guess not.
ReplyDeleteThe first SNL the Rock hosted was incredible.
ReplyDeleteI think that was all wishful thinking. A broken heel is a pretty serious injury. Sucks it happened but I always thought they would get vacated.
ReplyDeleteThe Big Show stole the show that night.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll call or write you a letter. Maybe we'll see on the 4th of July.
ReplyDelete"Hey, I found that Mango guy. Can I keep him?"
ReplyDeleteI had one crush in high school. I remember listening to Southern Girl by Better than Ezra with her a few times. Listening to that song takes me back 15 year old me.
ReplyDeleteBig Show: "Can I keep him?"
ReplyDelete*Kattan angrily walks off stage*
Dude, I saw Veruca Salt in 1996 and at that point people considered them done. Makes me feel old as shit and I'm only 35.
ReplyDeleteWith all the Big Show talk and slander, he should have been an Andre the Giant attraction with the acting skills. Jobbed to Steve Austin not even a month with the company. Seems like Show never recovered from that.
ReplyDelete"i remember running through the wet grass always a step behind...." just heard it on sirius on the 90's on 9 last week and yea nostalgia kicked in.
ReplyDeleteMy bet is that Rock doesn't mention WM once. In all his promotional work leading up to the two last WMs where he was the main event. He didn't have the title on screen once, and made no mention of wrestling whatsoever.
ReplyDelete"But I'm not too sure, and I'm not too proud.Well, I'm not too sure and I'm not too proud to say......"
ReplyDeleteMe too. That song came out when I was living in Indiana with who would be my first wife and the first time living on my own with family thousands of miles away. Yeah, definitely some nostalgic memories of what seems a lifetime ago.
ReplyDeleteThe Rock "aaoooogahhh" promo killed him for me. And I don't hate The Rock for doing that promo because Big Show absolutely sucks.
ReplyDeleteWhy should he? He's given enough to WWE and is not an active employee. He's on SNL to promote his own stuff.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm assuming NXT's show on Friday won't be aired on the Network. Lame.
ReplyDeleteAnd Scott Hall doing the Frankenstein taunt at Show. Hall said years later that Show hated when he did that to him.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the night before WM also HOF night? I don't expect to see any WWE cameos during SNL.
ReplyDeleteBut he wouldn't have ANYTHING without Vince! He should constantly be talking about how Vince is awesome and WWE is the best all the time!!
ReplyDeleteHe's promoting Furious 7, not WWE
ReplyDeleteGotta pay your dues!
ReplyDeleteWhat year in WWE (let's say the further back you can go is 1985) changed the most from January 1st to December 31st? My gut reaction was 1997 but I can see there being multiple options here.
ReplyDeleteWatch WM 31 to see my green cousin do something I wasn't allowed to: beat Brock Lesnar.
ReplyDeleteim wondering how they pull of the movie with paul walkers death happening halfway through filming???
ReplyDeleteBody double.
ReplyDeleteI think all of Walker's close-ups were done and they used his brother as a stand-in.
ReplyDeleteI think this is Rock's third or fourth time hosting and they only had cameos during the first one.
ReplyDelete2002
ReplyDeleteI'd say 97. '92 had a lot of change as well.
ReplyDeleteGood choice; main event picture was completely different. And the brand split changed everything as well. Smackdown for the better, Raw for the worst.
ReplyDeleteHe's not there to promote Mania
ReplyDeleteI'll go with 1985. That was when the first boom was triggered with Rock n Wrestling and Wrestlemania. The previous year, the then WWF was trying to find it's footing as a national company and was still conducting business as a Northeast company. And by the end of 1985, the company was part of pop culture.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I wouldn't be proud of is admitting I ever liked Better than Ezra. But then I never fell for that stuff.
ReplyDeleteAh, 2002...when everything started to go to shit.
ReplyDeleteHe absolutely won't because he has, I feel, the right outlook on wrestling. He loves it and is thankful for what it's done for him, he'll never not be a fan and he'll always be willing to do them a favor if he can, but he's the one wrestler who actually successfully broke free of the "oh, an actor who's a pro wrestler? lol" trope.
ReplyDeleteHe made himself legit. There's no reason to sabotage himself by tying himself back to the industry at a time when the product could not be any cooler in the public eye.
the scene in the trailer where the cars jump out of a plane they just should of had his schute fail and kill him off there lol.
ReplyDeleteCorrect! I don't even think he should have come back to wrestle Cena (although I did like the WM30 appearance). It seemed beneath him because he didn't have the time to commit to a full angle and WWE didn't have the same creative mindset that they had when he was a main-eventer.
ReplyDeleteCelebs dont go on talk shows and SNL on a whim or for whatever minor pay they get for it. They are paid to be there promoting whatever project they are tied to by the studios. Ergo, they dont have the freedom to crow about whatever they're doing at the time. If Vince wants to sponsor it, then he can talk about Mania. Otherwise, nope.
ReplyDelete1996. It was jarring watching the PPVs from how much the tone changed.
ReplyDeleteExactly. If Rock goes on a show and starts talking about Mania over Furious 7, the studio heads would be enraged.
ReplyDeleteUnless Vince reaches him before then and offers Rock a slot on the show. Moral support for Reigns if nothing else.
ReplyDeleteReigns did an I terview where he basically said "won't somebody think of the children" when talking about the negative reactions he gets.
ReplyDelete2001 could be considered just by virtue of wcw closing its doors.
ReplyDeleteAnd the insane roster turnover it led to.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love how people still think Rock would go against this standard...
ReplyDeleteAnd ECW with the influx of their talent that came in.
ReplyDeleteGod, why do they let him do publicity or promos or even talk? He has one of the best bad-ass looks in the biz. Have him be a silent destroyer and the dudes will love him for wrecking shit and the ladies will throw their panties at him.
ReplyDeleteReigns should be booked like Brock: a badass who destroys as he pleases.
ReplyDelete1985 easily
ReplyDeletePlus, the year ended with Jericho as the champion which is kind of insane compared to the beginning of the year.
ReplyDeleteThe Rumble really put a damper on how excited I was for mania weekend but now that we have tickets for nxt, I'm so excited. I'm equally as pumped to go to nxt as I am for mania, if not more.
ReplyDelete1992's gotta be up there.
ReplyDeleteall that stuff comes with being the face of the company. He's going to have to learn sooner or later. You'd think they would have trained him for this already
ReplyDeleteYup. Thousands of people at the Hoosier Dome and then Bret wins the belt in a broom closet later in the year.
ReplyDeleteLet's see it from a different angle.
ReplyDeleteTotally agreed. Also, let's not forget that he seemed legit pissed about getting booed at the Rumble and is probably going to be applying Austin-like levels of scrutiny to the things the WWE asks him to come back and do from here on out.
ReplyDeleteSo, he's a big Helen Lovejoy fan I take it?
ReplyDeleteHe also compared himself to Brad Pitt being cast in Troy, which was hilariously inaccurate.
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing to come out of Cole/Lawler from WM27 is Josh Matthews and Booker T getting dropped with stunners and getting mad at Michael Cole for being such a dickhead that they got excited enough over his ass kicking that they'd trust Austin during a beer bash.
ReplyDeleteThe Colorado Rockies are thinking about introducing pot brownies to their concession stands.
ReplyDelete...
Whatever your opinion on marijuana is, can you imagine how dumb it is to give baseball fans in the stands weed? The total amount of injuries from foul balls let's say are going to... Go much higher (pun intended).
Stone Cold stunning Booker T was great because it finally shut him up, and didn't become back to announce the rest of the night.
ReplyDeleteI got into a hilariously argument with Satan about the Rock promoting Furious 7 as one of the reasons he wouldn't be at 31 this year. He had no understanding of the concept of movie stars having to promote their movies all around the world.
ReplyDeletetbf, you did announce you didn't care about TNA spoilers.
ReplyDeleteI need to move to Colorado right now.
ReplyDeleteWatching Royal Rumble 99 and Vince finally gets a much needed theme song.
ReplyDeleteHis promoting of Furious 7 will consist of him mentioning it in the opening monologue, then a commercial for it in the first ad break. Since it is a Universal movie, and NBC is a Universal network, they may go all out and have other people from the movie "crash" the monologue, or be part of the cold opening. There could also be a F&F themed sketch. It all comes down to what the writers come up with and Dawyne agrees to. All that said, if someone on the writing staff is a wrestling fan and comes up with something the Rock thinks is funny, it could happen. Probably a slim chance though.
ReplyDeleteWell, nobody is there to get hit by foul balls.
ReplyDeleteYou mean there are cinemas outside of the USA?
ReplyDeleteBetter than booze, imo but those horses are out of the stables
ReplyDeleteRoman Reigns need to channel his inner-Ultimate Warrior and increase his snarling by about 200%. That would be the tits!
ReplyDelete"(Groaning) BwaaahhHHHH! Broke Lesnar, you say that you're a beast, but no man is without his weakness. As the gods prepare me for WrestleMania, the site of the cosmic battle of the ages Broke Lesnar, and Jupiter prepares for war (snort), you must prepare your mortal soul for the powah of the Samoan Warriah, because March 29th, I'll beat you full of SUFFFFFERIN' SUCCOOOTASH! And you will (gnork) BELEEEEE DAAAAT!!!"
That would mean they acknowledge this is bombing and try to change him up. If they even hinted at Heyman flipping? (Kinda like they sorta opened the door for during the snowstorm Raw with his "I saw this new young beast ready to take down the old guard") But at this point Heyman's all in on Brock and a flip would be nonsensically Russo.
ReplyDeleteThey're so fucking stubborn and willing to disregard what the vast majority of their crowds are telling them it's repulsive
1988 - By 89 everyone had theme music and it really started presenting the slicked production we see today.
ReplyDelete... I wasn't being serious.
ReplyDeleteNot quite. In 91, when IRS came in, they never gave him music.
ReplyDeleteThat involves planning ahead, dude.
ReplyDeleteNXT running a show during 'Mania weekend?! Now I'm REALLY bummed that Im no longer going.
ReplyDeleteI remember the dreadful "typewriter" theme music they gave him in one of the NES games.
ReplyDeleteI'm down enough on the product that I'd take Warrior Reigns for at least something different
ReplyDeleteActually SNL is slightly unique in that they basically figure out in advance of the season who is going to host every episode. They start laying them out months in advance, usually trying to coordinate it so that the host is there to hype some new project. It's a complicated mix of top stars, people who've hosted before that they like, and some that are picked as part of the overall Hollywood publicity machine. Once a host is picked it's then all in the hands of the writers, and frankly the whole "there to hype (x)" thing often goes out the window. So the idea that the Rock "has to" do this or that isn't really accurate. It's all what the writers come up with, and what they think is the most funny.
ReplyDelete(Interesting side note: the audience actually sees the entire show TWICE. They do a full run-through of the show that is taped a few hours before going live. That way if something happens during the live broadcast they can play the taped version. They will also occasionally replace a sketch that didn't go over well during the run-through. Sometimes they replace bits when the episode is later aired as a rerun--often the musical performances.)
Yeah, Reigns is going to be a fucking bust. The night after Mania is going to be the best shit show ever.
ReplyDeleteI had that same argument with someone on here back when they did the angle with Rock & Rusev. They couldn't fathom that a Mania match coming from it was unfeasible. I kept pointing out Rock's Twitter, his Facebook. You could see the guy's work schedule loosely laid out for the following few months. Even now I wouldn't rule out him flying in for a surprise cameo, especially as a plug for the movie, but the idea of him being in a match this year was ludicrous.
ReplyDelete>Smackdown averaged 2.573 million viewers, down from last week's 2.694 million viewers.
ReplyDeleteLast years Smackdown on March 14th delivered 2.801 million viewers.
At this rate a decade of the Roman Empire will have the show doing Impact numbers.
The Percy Pringle (Paul Bearer) shoot won the poll.
ReplyDeleteI will throw out the devil's advocate point that they are on a different night compared to last year... but really, that hasn't mattered because they pretty much brought their audience with them in the move. They are definitely down.
ReplyDeleteYou guys gonna be able to finish up the carpet work, or do you think you'll need it another day?
ReplyDeleteDon't get why they are pushing him or why people hate him?
ReplyDeleteI'd say they should be getting better ratings on Thursday versus Friday.
ReplyDeleteGod fucking Dammit, WWE is going to make me change my WM plans.
ReplyDeleteOh yessssssssss
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh yesssss! I voted for James Mitchell cause he had some great stories, including a rib he pulled on Dick Murdoch, but Percy's was good too.
ReplyDeleteHave you thought of doing the Face Off series, Bayless? Raven/Honky, Raven/Mitchell and Raven/Kevin Sullivan are really good, or at least I remember enjoying them.
This guy is getting more cornier by the day.
ReplyDeletePreview for the next PWG DVD. Of note: Chris Hero is apparently following the Buddy Rose Blow Away Diet,
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ5hc8Pn4mU
2011 has to be up there. It went from the Cena show to the champion being the guy who was barely getting on PPVs at the beginning of the year.
ReplyDeleteI knew it was a mistake to turn Eddie Edwards' heal.
ReplyDeleteSo they're getting fewer viewers on a better night for the B show, AND fewer viewers for the longest-running episodic show. Things are looking up!
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting if they scrapped Smackdown altogether and gave the time-slot to NXT. I think the ratings would stagger for a while, but people would start watching it more than they watch Smackdown now once they got familiar with the wrestlers and stories.
ReplyDeleteAnother funny episode of Sonic Boom. If the game can't be good, at least the cartoon is.
ReplyDeleteWhat if Reigns enters through the giant crowd at Mania and after about the 40th row of stairs, he slips and falls on spilled soda and tears an ACL? He's left 30 rows from the ring laying on the ground unable to stand-up. Vince makes a swift decision backstage and sends Bryan to the ring to replace Reigns. Bryan beats Lesnar after a 25 minute improvised war to win the WWE Title!
ReplyDeleteThe next night on RAW, it is revealed that Reigns' did not do any severe damage in his knee and will face Bryan later in the night for the title. Reigns spears Bryan when the bell sounds and wins the WWE title in under 18 seconds.
Confetti drops from the ceiling as the entire McMahon family appears on the ramp and proceeds to flip off all of the fans. Slime then drops from a giant mysterious bucket that is suspended above the ring onto Bryan as he attempts to stand up after the match.
Was Brad Pitt even really that bad in Troy?
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad that the WWE gave up on caring about the Network, because Legends House turned out in the end to be a heck of a deal.
ReplyDeleteI reviewed the Raven/Honky shoot
ReplyDeleteIt would be official that Vince Russo is the head writer.
ReplyDeleteThat NXT show is a genius move by WWE. They know that Indy promotions like to do shows in the same area of Wrestlemania that same weekend, so what better way to take attention away from those shows than to have NXT.
ReplyDeleteShit, boldest of preditions here: they do an actual taping and debut Samao Joe that weekend.
It would be even better if it was a PPV on the Network.
ReplyDeleteThat was a cool trailer.
ReplyDeleteThe other two are good as well. Notable for the Mitchell story about cutting a promo on Robert Gibson in SMW about how he was going to pluck out Gibson's one good eye and give him a "wink job"
ReplyDeleteAnd, Sullivan with the "Fuck Santa!" story.
It's weird that WWE is recognizing that he sucks.
ReplyDeleteIs there an NXT special this month?
ReplyDeleteI'm a big DB fan...and I have to say...if what you typed out happened, I think it would awesome.
ReplyDeleteI mean, who could have seen it coming?!
Lesnar will retain at Mania. I almost 100% certain. They'll use the next night on RAW as Lesnar's last date because he still owes them one from when he walked out to have Rollins or someone take the strap off of him. There's no way they put the belt on Reigns.
ReplyDeleteThe Big Show would knockout Kevin Steen and be the new NXT Heavyweight Champion by the end of the first month in this scenario.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe so.
ReplyDeleteYeah Who could see it coming because his mask has eye holes.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Kathy Griffin quit Fashion Police. She was no Joan Rivers.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is jumping ship now lol
ReplyDeleteESPN: the world wide leader of sports and the worst online video streaming device.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Sharks won't be playing any games for the foreseeable future.
ReplyDeleteThe push. I keep looking back at past top guys and can't see many that were given the nod who brought as little to the table as Reigns. The only ones that stand out are guys during the brand split when having the two belts led to a lot of shitty choices. Like the Miz or Del Rio. But I never see any of those guys as ones that were meant to be the face of the company--the flag bearer. There are comparisons to Ultimate Warrior or Diesel, but even those can be picked apart, dissected, and some justification seen even if they didn't pan out.
ReplyDeleteIt's even more baffling if you take into account/believe the stories that as recent as last fall that Hunter was higher on Reigns than Vince was, and that McMahon wanted to try and get the Rock or Batista for a match against Lesnar. When & why did Vince go all in on Reigns? Because that's the other thing: this has been about the worst all-in push I've ever seen with a guy. Maybe I'm just not remembering, but have they routinely had the Rumble winner get pinned in the stretch between then and Mania? Reigns has been pinned twice so far!
I'm really starting to feel that this all only makes sense if Rollins cashes the briefcase in on Reigns *at* WrestleMania and walks out the champion. Rollins is the only guy they've really been building all these months. Sure, he's lost a lot, but he's also become the one most prominently featured on TV. Maybe the savage Orton beatdown was to build sympathy for him, so that if he wins the belt you then get the fans already rooting for him to turn face?
If that's not their "real" plan, and it is just Reigns coming out the champion, then are they really looking at this as another John Cena scenario where half the crowd will be booing him soon? Because unless he pulls an amazing match out of his ass in beating Lesnar, I don't see him winning the belt earning him the respect of the fans. No one really hates him right now-- not even me--but damn I sure see a lot of people hating him if he's the next John Cena.
And can you have the next John Cena if you still have John Cena hanging around?
He's already scheduled for that RAW as his last date. This coming RAW is the only one that could make up the one he walked out of.
ReplyDeleteGod those sketches are always so money.
ReplyDeleteYes. Wednesday the 25th.
ReplyDeleteThe big difference is that Diesel and Warrior were super over before they won the belts. Reigns isn't. The better comparison in terms of overness would be, like Jack Swagger. But of course that was when there were two brands.
ReplyDeleteTo really find precedent for the tippy top guy being somebody the fans don't give two shits at all about you have to go back to... uh... David Arquette in WCW?
Cut to R-Truth jiving across the screen...
ReplyDeleteI'd love it, at least then they would show their honesty.
ReplyDeletewhich makes it a possibility he won't appear.
ReplyDeleteEven better, they've only actually done TWO "Five Timers Club" sketches ever. I would've thought there had been more given how the honour is so frequently mentioned, but nope, just the two (the original when Hanks is 'inducted' and the more recent one for Timberlake.)
ReplyDeleteSummerSlam sold out. Guess EVERYTHING IS FINE after all.
ReplyDeleteI have a superhero-related question for the nerds here.
ReplyDeleteTake away your dislike Gal Gadot's casting (if you have it) and just thinking of the character/concept itself, would you go see a Wonder Woman movie?
I would as I like the character and would love to see Wonder Woman in a kick-ass movie.
If it was done correctly, sure. She battles Gods yet they always throw her on the back burner. Being the Justice Leagues secretary for example. LOLZ
ReplyDeleteHmm. By then, Roman will have flamed out and we'll enjoy Cena vs. Orton: One Last Time (snicker).
ReplyDeleteIn a couple more surgeries she might be!
ReplyDeleteExactly, it wouldn't surprise me if there's a wrestling-themed skit or something else that pokes fun of one of Rock's many other projects.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, there's a sketch concept right there --- Rock has already been added to the GI Joe and Fast & Furious franchises with great success, so now he's being added to other goofier franchises (Twilight, the Paul Blart movies, Weekend at Bernie's, etc.)
I don't know how Kathy is so popular. She's not funny. She is so fucking ugly. She also seems so bitchy.
ReplyDeleteI'd watch Rock in a Weekend at Bernie's film.
ReplyDeleteSure, if done right she's basically Thor with tits.
ReplyDeletePlenty of potential in the character when done right.
Depends on the subject matter. Wonder Woman's a really easy character to misunderstand and fuck up.
ReplyDeleteDiesel wasn't "super over" when he was made champion. He had only just turned a few days earlier...if anyone at MSG hadn't seen Survivor Series, they would've still figured he was a heel.
ReplyDeleteThey have tickets on sale 5 months early?
ReplyDeleteFor an arena show? Is that normal?
I think I'm going to try and get tickets for that NXT show. That's really bad ass.
ReplyDeleteAnybody else watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt? Good, funny show.
ReplyDeleteI kinda want to make "troll the respawn Jerry" a thing.
I'm going to start once I finish Buffy/Angel.
ReplyDeleteI envy you being able to watch Buffy and Angel for the first time. Great shows. What seasons are you up to?
ReplyDeleteThey are awesome. Currently on season 7 of Buffy and season 4 of Angel. I've actually been a bigger fan of Angel since I've started flip flopping episodes.
ReplyDeleteCharisma Carpenter, ftw.
ReplyDeleteI'd watch "Unbreakable Kimmy Gibbler."
ReplyDeleteShe's hot as hell. Even with the mole and the odd hair styles. bewbz
ReplyDeleteYeah, Angel really stepped it up in seasons 2 and 3. I wasn't a big fan of the second half of season 4 though. I think though that season 5 is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteBuffy season 7 is very blah for me.
Not sure about today, but Lori Loughlin had a sweet little ass.
ReplyDeleteI'm 10 episodes in and I have to concur. My rankings for Buffy so far based on seven would be 2, 3, 5, 1, 6, 7, 4.
ReplyDeleteYeah, she's a forgotten gem of the 90s.
ReplyDeleteHer, Lisa Kudrow and Holly Robinson from Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, as long as she didn't talk.
ReplyDeleteThat seems about right ranking wise, seasons 2, 3 and 5 are by and large the best seasons. If I had to rank them, 5, 3, 2, 6, 4, 1, 7
ReplyDeleteAngel: 5, 3, 2, 1, 4
Season 4 of Angel is ridiculous so far; I'm really turned off about EVERYTHING. Like, I understand Cordelia is possessed or whatever, but of all people to have her sleep with and have a kid, it has been to be Connor? Just made me uncomfortable tbh. And I felt bad for Angel :/
ReplyDeleteCollege basketball is borderline unwatchable for me anymore. I'll still tune in for the tournament, but it's really painful to watch about 90 percent of the teams. I watched a mid-level high school basketball game last week that had more drama and better flow than just about anything you'll see in D1. The thing that kills me is how unimaginative it all is. College football is constantly reinventing itself. College basketball still hasn't figured out spacing. So frustrating.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Jodie Sweetin grew up to have a solid rack. Could do without the meth however.
ReplyDeleteYeah, season 4 just kinda went off the rails there. Stick with it though, season 5 is fantastic. You even get a wrestling themed episode that is pretty decent.
ReplyDeleteI keep saying a 300 style movie about an army of armored women warriors battling monsters--sign me up.
ReplyDeleteI call shenanigans.
ReplyDeleteThat's enough to keep me interested lol; hoping to finish by this weekend or the next.
ReplyDeleteMarch Madness is one of the few things in sports that I couldn't care less about.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I want to care about college hoops. But, between college football, NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB and Premier League. I've got enough on my plate as it is.
ReplyDeletePremier League comment incoming!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo Arsenal unfortunately, yet expectedly won today, which makes tomorrow's game against Tottenham a little bit of a must win.
Hahaha! Manchester United were better off last season under Moyes. They were in the Champions league quarter finals, League cup semi finals, hadn't been blown over a hundred million pounds on garbage "talent", and had the same points.
ReplyDeleteIt's annoying how people overreact about upsets. They act like an upset in a 40 minute game that is highly influenced by the referees is some type of miracle.
ReplyDeleteEven more to look Foward to: there's an episode where Angel gets turned into a puppet and it is awesome! Trust me.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds odd, but I like those fun episodes they throw in there lol.
ReplyDeleteWhen you mess with Spike, you mess with death.

UFC has another PPV tonight? These PPVs become more underwhelming and poorly hyped by the day.
ReplyDeleteOn a scale of 1-10, I rank today an ARRRRRRRGH!
ReplyDeleteThis message brought to you by the Committee for "Why is Work So Fucking Busy Today?"
We finished 7th last year, how is that better off? Plus still having Moyes' talent + getting bit by the injury bug has hurt us greatly.
ReplyDelete
