BoD Saturday Night Thread

Talk about everything going on tonight here

Comments

  1. Classic SNL is Jim Carrey/Soundgarden tonight. Holy shit

    ReplyDelete
  2. Last night I dreamed that tomorrow was Super Bowl Sunday. I think I miss football.

I would shit myself with glee if Brock demolishes Reigns at 'Mania, then comes out to gloat the next night in preparation for taking the title with him to UFC. Out comes Vince McMahon to a big pop to announce that, before Lesnar's contract runs out at midnight, he's contractually obligated to wrestle one more time... Then bring out either Daniel Bryan (for the smark pop) or Kevin Owens (for the holy shit!? pop), and badda boom. Let Reigns go darker and edgier after the loss and build himself up to the level where he could actually be a leading guy for the company.

Or, instead, just do Roman Reigns vs. Big Show like they're planning on doing.

I normally don't miss football all that much until training camp starts up; I hate football talk shows on general principles... but this year I've been gorging on all the football news I can find. I really want the Draft to get here.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Only 23 days until Opening Day, I just realised that I have the day off. FUCK. YES.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Opening day cannot come soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  9. All the Saints moves have me intrigued as to what the team is going to look like next year

    ReplyDelete
  10. It should be a national holiday.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I always miss football but I pay zero attention during the offseason. I never pay a lot of attention to the draft or preseason. Definitely don't turn on ESPN or NFL Network. But once the Season gets here all my TV stays on is NFL Network.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I requested off. It should be an automatic holiday if you're a baseball fan

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm dreading baseball this year. Going to be a long summer

    ReplyDelete
  14. Haha yeah you're an NBA/MLB guy right?

    ReplyDelete
  15. quick rant. I fucking hate when women pull the whole fade-away shit in terms of gradually responding to an email/text less and less often before just going to silence. Either just go straight to silence, or better yet, just say you'll end things right then and there instead of dragging it out.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 14, 2015 at 5:55 PM

I was talking to Jackson the other day about the Saints, because as a Panthers fan I'm always keeping track of Atlanta, New Orleans and Tampa. I can't figure them out; one minute it feels like they're rebuilding, the next it feels like they're trying to sign players to win next year.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't follow college football so I'm not a draft guy. Whenever the Saints pick someone, I'm like: All right, sure?

    ReplyDelete
  18. both those scenarios sound way too awesome for WWE to implement.

No, if they decide to go the route of Lesnar losing the belt on RAW the next night to someone random, it would probably be to fucking Kane. It's always fucking Kane.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Payton promised this when the season ended, but there was something fundamentally wrong with this team and just bringing everyone back was not going to work.

Ingram over Thomas is deplorable, but I don't mind the other moves.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah basically lol. For the Raiders if they draft a position they need im happy. Didn't know much about Khalil Mack or Derek Carr but they needed at both those positions so yay!

I'm hoping Oakland takes the WR from Alabama(blanking on his name)

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't know how you cut that episode to an hour. It's perfect

    ReplyDelete
  22. I don't follow college much so the draft never means a ton to me unless say the colts get rid of peyton and draft the next peyton or there are some college names that you just can't escape hearing about but the Free Agency has been bonzo gonzo TM Scott Keith

    ReplyDelete
  23. Amari Cooper? I'm hoping the Saints do what I think they are going to do an use their two picks to trade up. Stockpile for the future.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Totally random but saw this coming home yesterday: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NjAwWDYwMA==/z/xAIAAOxy-o5R4C3m/$T2eC16Z,!%29cE9s4Pud2LBR4C3l77U!~~60_35.JPG ....that's just such a passive aggressive cry for your kid to knock something up or get knocked up

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah that's it lol

    ReplyDelete
  26. Tribe predictions for the year? I'm sensing around a .500 season.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 14, 2015 at 5:58 PM

I was shocked they shipped Kenny Stills out. The dude seems like he has a wealth of raw talent, and to only be 22, it feels like a waste to ship him out.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Didn't baseball just end?

    ReplyDelete
  29. If Bray beats Undertaker at Mania and then your scenario plays out except instead of Bryan it's Bray on the screen. "Brock. I'm here." Insane brawl, Sister Abigail. Bray wins! I would shit MY pants.

    ReplyDelete
  30. October was a few months ago

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm worried about the back end of the rotation. And whenever were predicted to be good we flounder. I'm going like 84-78.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I still think Bray should have won the MiTB for the belt.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 14, 2015 at 6:00 PM

Sweet holy doodles... This would be my face the second I hear "Brock... I'm here."

    http://www.gifbin.com/bin/042009/1239788892_jizz-in-my-pants.gif

    ReplyDelete
  34. Cooper that's the one. They need a WR and he seems good from what I've seen.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm not saying it will happen...but I won't be surprised if there is some draft day Brees trade in order to get a QB in the draft.

    ReplyDelete
  36. if you book this product, I might start watching again

    ReplyDelete
  37. They filled a need on defense and the Saints feel this is a good class to draft a WR. And they got a pick

    ReplyDelete
  38. Brees and Cooks are the two Saints safe.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Mitch, The GodfatherMarch 14, 2015 at 6:01 PM

    Come on, Wyoming.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I would cum instantaneously. Bray does the whole entrance but Brock's an asshole so he jumps him in the aisle and the fight is on. Total Attitude Era style brawl.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Raiders fucked up. They had all the money in the world and didn't do jack with it. They wanted cobb and when that fell through they just say there. didn't go after Torrey.. tried to get Murray and failed at that too. Now they have to over pay guys just to not get penalized for underspending

    ReplyDelete
  42. If they ever want to go full on Bray, I'd mark for the video intro ending with "I'm already here" and him already in the ring to beat the crap out of whoever. Thought they were going to do that last year during one of the Shield/Wyatts confrontations, but blowing both groups up instead was cool too...

    ReplyDelete
  43. I still want Lana to be cutting the usual promo, calling Americans weak and looking for a challenge as Rusev stands there....and then Brock's music hits

    ReplyDelete
  44. I assume they will keep him but there has been a lot of trade talk out there

    ReplyDelete
  45. It's all baseless. The Saints are not shopping Brees

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yeah this offseason really bummed me out. I was hoping they would land at least one big name. But fuckin zero.

    ReplyDelete
  47. *May have filled a need. Ellerbe spent more time on the treatment table than on the field during his time in Miami.

    ReplyDelete
  48. That would be an awesome face turn for Brock.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I work with a raiders fan and he has just been depressed since every WR went off the board.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Cooper or Kevin White would be the Raiders best choice.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Cooks just went to the Dolphins didn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  52. No time like the present to get healthy!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 14, 2015 at 6:04 PM

To get Brees, you'd need to give up so much, and the amount of contract you'd have to eat would make it prohibitive almost. It's more likely Brees gets cut outright than for him to get traded.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Mitch, The GodfatherMarch 14, 2015 at 6:04 PM

There we go. Somebody is getting knocked off the bubble now. Hopefully Ole Miss.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yeah, the Saints are in an odd place, because they can't rebuild, not while they still have Drew Brees. At the same time, it isn't like they have a roster set up for yrs to come, so they're in a middle area.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The side effect of such a limited contract, there's a decent handful of great ideas that are going to be left on the table come April....Rusev, Bray, Bryan....but HHH totally needed multiple matches with Brock

    ReplyDelete
  57. Their biggest signing was the LB from Seattle but they already have a solid LB corp. they need help on the backend.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 14, 2015 at 6:05 PM

If they want to win now, trade up and get Cooper. If you want to build to the future, keep your two first rounders and double your money. Really and truly the WR depth in this draft is so stout, they can get a solid player for Brees to throw to AND find DB depth with the second pick.

    ReplyDelete
  59. The first match was actually something everyone wanted to see. After that no one was interested in seeing it yet they wasted 2 Brock matches on it.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm not familiar with White but as long as he's a good WR Prospect I'm down.

    ReplyDelete
  61. They went all in last year and it failed, so they are trying to reload while maintaining cap flexibility. I really like these moves. Yea, it sucks losing these guys, but we were 7-9 for a reason

    ReplyDelete
  62. the good news is that 9ers are competing with you guys for the bay's flaming turd

    ReplyDelete
  63. Brock kills Rusev. Tosses Lana over his shoulder while laughing heartily.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I thought about that and the only team that would make sense is Cards. A team that is strong but needs a great QB

    ReplyDelete
  65. Haha as disappointing as this offseason has been for the Raiders it's only because of who they didn't get. The 49ers have lost more people than I care to count. It's really been ugly for them.

    ReplyDelete
  66. He's Mayock's #1, depending how much stock you take in Mike Mayock. Either guy would be fine for Oakland

    ReplyDelete
  67. The Saints always trade up. For once I'd like them to trade down and stockpile. Get more cap flexibility and build to the future.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Palmer for as hard as he tries, isn't gonna do it.

    ReplyDelete
  69. yea it's been amazing to watch management of a team that sucked till Harbuagh came to town set fire to everything Harbaugh did on the way to 3 NFC title games and a Super Bowl ....but I'm sure the D-line coach...now head coach knows what he is doing

    ReplyDelete
  70. I always wondered what would happen if a bunch of Cinderellas won tourneys

    ReplyDelete
  71. Carson Palmer for as hard as he tries, isn't gonna do it for the Cards.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:10 PM

That sounds about right, though if things go well for them and not well for a couple other teams they can sneak into a wild card spot. I can't even predict how the West will go.

    ReplyDelete
  73. 6 man Japanese match from ECW Unreleased 2 is WAY better than the Barely Legal match.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Since we're talking football, this seems like a primo opportunity for the Rams to trade down. They have to rebuild three-fifths of the line and need more picks, especially to keep Foles from throwing of his back foot.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I watched WrestleMania 22 last night in the Late Late Thread. Such a fun show. The Money in the Bank is a good ***1/2 but definitely one of the weaker WrestleMania editions, Edge/Foley is over **** and has one of the memorable finishes in WrestleMania history, I was shocked but how much I enjoyed the Casket Match with Taker and Henry. Most of it was average but the final segment was really awesome. Taker hits a Last Ride, then a Dive clearing the ropes and casket and then hits a damn Tombstone on Henry(gotta be one of the biggest guys to take one) and rolls him in the casket. Shawn and Vince is one of the most entertaining and Mark out filled matches for me ever, and the main event has insane big fight atmosphere and is a ***1/2 match in its own right.

    ReplyDelete
  76. It's a long shot they get rid of breed but he is at that point of ..it's your last chance to get something for him or ride him out till he retires and then rebuild

    ReplyDelete
  77. Everything I've read about the fire spot is basically: don't do it.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:12 PM

Nothing on T.V. and the 360 is shot, I'm bored as fuck. Normally I can fix these things myself but I can't even see how to get it open.

    ReplyDelete
  79. They aren't trading him!

    ReplyDelete
  80. The more I watched that spot I realized Edge probably wasn't selling anything. He was legitimately traumatized.

    ReplyDelete
  81. If by some weird chance Brees went to Arizona, 49ers definitely finish last in the NFC West.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I'm still very butt hurt they didn't do Edge vs. Cena as the main event. Edge was on fire as a heel champion.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:13 PM

When was the first MITB, 21? That's still the best one to me.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Have you tried looking up a tutorial on YouTube? Might be able to see how to open it from that.

    ReplyDelete
  85. He and Sam Bradford should get together and swap noted.

    ReplyDelete
  86. The first one at 21 is a ***** for me. Absolutely the best one.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I didn't like Edge at the time(in a marky heel way) so I was happy about it. In retrospect I could go either way. Edge/Cena had a big time feud but on the other Cena/HHH was a bigger match.

    ReplyDelete
  88. He suffered second degree burns. It was a lot worse for him than Foley.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Anyone else been to a Yacht Rock Revue concert? wife and I went last night and had a blast. If you enjoy that stuff they are a really great band that nails every song they do

    ReplyDelete
  90. Man those My Sacrifice videos were some of the best things WWE's ever done. Yeah, Creed were shameless Pearl Jam ripoffs but even a broken clock is right twice a day, as they say.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yeah I bet. Foley was fully clothed. Edge went in face first without a shirt on. Sumbitch is double tough.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Now that's a great plan to build excitement for the product and either create a new star or return your most over guy to the top spot of the company.

But it's a laughable plan for the Audience Of One.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Mitch, The GodfatherMarch 14, 2015 at 6:16 PM

Always been in the minority but I never had the same love for Edge/Foley. I thought Orton/Foley was much better.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:16 PM

Not yet. I'm not sure I even want to attempt it before I can price what it will cost to fix. It really just needs a thorough cleaning. I don't have too many tools either. Best option is to just get a new one, the old 360s can't cost that much.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Someone would end up on the IR from the swap

    ReplyDelete
  96. I've only been to four WWE PPVs in my life and I can say I've seen a Hell in a Cell, Money in the Bank, Boiler Room Brawl, Championship Scramble, Hair vs. Hair, and an Unsanctioned Streetfight live in person. Oh and Big Show.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Watching the pilot to Sliders. Dude creates a wormhole in his basement and is worried about losing his job at a best buy equivalent.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Orton/Foley is definitely much much much much much much much much much better. But I still enjoy Foley/Edge too.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:17 PM

I'd call it the best ladder match period.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Edge caused a bit a ratings jump when he won the belt. He was super over with the live sex celebration and he had a crazy ladder match with Flair. This was really the logical point where Cena should have been turned heel. Triple H gets a heroes welcome at Mania. The ratings never got back to where they were Edge.

    ReplyDelete
  101. You may be right. I wouldn't argue too hard.

    ReplyDelete
  102. You were at Unforgiven 2008? Lucky! That Street Fight with Shawn and Jericho was greatness.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:18 PM

The show on Fox back in the 90s? That wasn't bad.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yeah it was awesome. My brother and I got our tickets upgraded too from upper deck to club seats, too. The other three I went to were Summerslam 1996, WrestleMania 23, and Summerslam 2008.

    ReplyDelete
  105. That was an Intercontinental Title match if I recall. Orton was really the last great IC champ, over 10 years ago now.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I still haven't seen a MITB match. A cash in is on my bucket list

    ReplyDelete
  107. What 4 shows? Summerslam 98 I guess was one.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:20 PM

The Starrcade 2000 one is pretty good, basically the real first MITB. Hardly anyone has ever seen it though.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Yea, Foley was fully clothed and fell backwards into the fire which helped put out. Edge dove into the fire. Don't dive into fire

    ReplyDelete
  110. Hot damn! WrestleMania 23 was awesome too. One of the best Main Events. And Summerslam 2008 was good too. The second to last "real" Cell match.

    ReplyDelete
  111. never been to a ppv...could have been there to see Sid snap his leg in half but passed it up

    ReplyDelete
  112. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:21 PM

    Especially with hair that long.

    ReplyDelete
  113. WM will be my fourth; Unforgiven 02, WM21, SS13

    ReplyDelete
  114. I still wanna see Chip Kelly trade away half the Eagles roster, including DeMarco now to Tampa for the #1 pick, draft Mariota, then pull a Bobby Petrino and say "see ya later suckers, I'm headed back to Oregon!"

    ReplyDelete
  115. Yep. Not just an amazing flow to the match, but six was the right number for the match and the lineup of talent was insane.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I actually preferred Batista/Taker over HBK/Cena, at least live.

    ReplyDelete
  117. What time is the BoD planning to watch 19 tomorrow?

    ReplyDelete
  118. Would there ever have been a good time for Muta in the WWF?

    ReplyDelete
  119. To get crushed by Brock the next month?

    ReplyDelete
  120. This show has the 90s written all over it. Even the Slider remote thing looks like one of these:

    http://www.howtogetridofstuff.com/wp-content/uploads/how-to-get-rid-of-old-cellphones.jpg?cde62b

    ReplyDelete
  121. every time I see your avatar, I feel like watching IASIP

    ReplyDelete
  122. 1989 instead of Zeus.

    ReplyDelete
  123. All this crowd revolt talk about this year with Reigns reminds me of 22.

Both World Champion winners got met with less than rosy reactions during their matches.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:24 PM

Only WWE PPV I went to was Fully Loaded... 99, think, but it might have been 98 or 2000, I'd have to look it up. Also went to N2R 99 and Mayhem 99 up in Toronto.

    ReplyDelete
  125. When bret was on top? he could have at least got a hakushi/Patriot push

    ReplyDelete
  126. Kurt got booed?

    ReplyDelete
  127. PPVS:

    Royal Rumble: 08, 11, 15
    Wrestlemania: 20, 27, 29
    Extreme Rules: 10
    Night of Champions: 09
    Fatal Four Way: 10
    Unforgiven: 06
    HIAC: 09
    Survivor Series: 02
    TLC: 12

    ReplyDelete
  128. I meant the two guys who won the World Title matches, Rey and Cena. Angle got a ton of cheers.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Hogan & Beefer vs Savage & Muta? Well, as long as Muta never had to job to Beefer...

    ReplyDelete
  130. Whoa! Quite the list.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:26 PM

Think it's the same 6 guys from Barely Legal but they get more time.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Right it says winners in the comment.

    ReplyDelete
  133. The titus oneil time in NXT has been the least interesting period of the networks NXT I've watched

    ReplyDelete
  134. You've seen a WWF, ECW, and a WCW PPV live? That's pretty awesome. Which was your favorite out of the 3?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Thanks! I like my PPVs.

    ReplyDelete
  136. How was Big Poppa Pump's debut live in person?

    ReplyDelete
  137. It was clear they didn't really want Rey to win with how they booked him

    ReplyDelete
  138. Or have him debut after Mania VI and feud with Warrior.

    ReplyDelete
  139. TLC 2012 might be the best show on that list. Survivor Series 02, Rumble 08, Mania 20 and Unforgiven 2006 is a heck of a resume by themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Second part to the question - how long would have stayed there? I don't see Muta playing nice with Vince/HHH/Stef

    ReplyDelete
  141. Warrior vs Muta would've been an interesting styles clash.

    ReplyDelete
  142. good god that could have been amazing if Hogan was game. Hell Savage and Muta split and fight each other by survivor series!

    ReplyDelete
  143. Mania 20 must've been something special lie.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I'd love to have seen Muta mist the Warrior for the title!

    ReplyDelete
  145. TLC 2012 I was ringside so you can see me on camera for most of the show. Since me and my friends are 12 we spent the entire show doing stupid stuff on camera.

Though during the TLC match we paid attention.

    ReplyDelete
  146. It was incredible. I almost blacked out during the main since I wanted Benoit to win so badly. When HBK hit Sweet Chin when he had HHH in the Sharpshooter...not cool

    ReplyDelete
  147. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 14, 2015 at 6:29 PM

Did Bob Backlund have a spinal problem or something? When he came back in 1993, he wrestled as though he was perpetually hunched as if his spine was crooked. He also wrestled like a ginormous goober. I can't believe the dude got over enough to win the title by November.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Muta with Taker and Jake in '91 and early '92.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Ready for some college bball with the tourney finals for the two CBB conferences I care about, ACC and Pac-12

    ReplyDelete
  150. Insane. The crowd was kinda pissed from Brock's loss which impacted the triple threat. That woke them up. Loved everyone doing the barking

    ReplyDelete
  151. Adam "Colorado" CurryMarch 14, 2015 at 6:31 PM

Probably the WWF one as far as actually being the best show. It was the one with the crazy Rock/HHH (I think), but I had shitty seats and could barely see what was going on, couldn't even see the tron from where I was sitting. The ECW show was the most fun overall, but I was wasted and hardly don't remember anything but the New Jack dive off the basketball hoop. It was more like a big party with wrestling going on than an actual show. Mayhem just sucked.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Grumpy old man gimmick - works every time.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Oh man, that's a good one!

    ReplyDelete
  154. I always loved the match where Backlund beat a jobber and then counselled him on the way to the back

    ReplyDelete
  155. I was so high up for Unforgiven 06 that I could not see the belt.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Sullivan/Tenta/Beefcake were the Three Faces of Fear in WCW in '94. Muta/Undertaker/Jake is your real Three Faces of Fear.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Such a cool debut. Too bad he couldn't live up to the hype. But for that night he was OVER.

    ReplyDelete
  158. I'd tell Sting to show up on a weekly basis like Backlund did so we don't have 20 minutes of HHH ranting to himself.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I'm watching Total Recall... but I can't remember why.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Fully Loaded '99 had Taker/Austin First Blood and Trips/Rock Strap match so it must've been that one. It's a pretty decent show.

You got to see Awesome vs. Tanaka though. How loud were the chairshots?

    ReplyDelete
  161. Im playing ico/shadow of the colossus for the first time.

Holy shit both games are hard as fuck.

I can see me rage quitting several times when I was more of a gamer over these 2.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Gimmee the fucking mike!

    ReplyDelete
  163. Biff Kensington Has a PosseMarch 14, 2015 at 6:33 PM

Backlund is a really interesting case. To come back after eleven years with his '70s style offense and get over in the days of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels is a testament to the guy's talent.

    ReplyDelete

North Carolina vs. Notre Dame is such a strange ACC Tournament final.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Right? Hell, it's still weird seeing the Irish aligned with any conference

    ReplyDelete
  168. I'm gonna get around to ICO soon. I have the double bill for the PS3 as well

    ReplyDelete
  169. That's awesome! I remember watching this one at my friend's college. They'll probably only show "Pretty Noose," but that's vintage SG, too.

  170. To see the chick with the three boobs?

It cracks me up; I was talking with my brother about this last night. How the Hell Notre Dame (South Bend, Indiana) qualifies for the Atlantic Coast Conference is beyond me.

  172. Old- Because it's awesome
    New- yeah, why are you?

    ReplyDelete
  173. If old the reason is 3 boobs, bulging eyes, Michael ironside, and belly alien

I went to Vengeance 2006 in Charlotte. I had tickets to WrestleMania XXIV, but I wound up not driving to Florida for it.

  175. I'm not looking forward to the football team getting trampled by Clemson this year.

  176. Old. Have the new one too but I've never watched it.

    ReplyDelete
  177. I never realized until recently that Dean Norris was in the film.

Also, "AHAHAHA, I bet you think this is the real Quaid. It is!"

Wrestlers in the ring right now in the 1993 Rumble: Bob Backlund, Ric Flair, Ted DiBiase and Jerry 'the King' Lawler. That's a HELL of a coterie of stars from the 1980s.

Oh, and Virgil is in there, too.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Now I remember.

    ReplyDelete
  181. I'm proud of the fact that I bought this in that weird round mars tin and Citizen Kane on DVD together ..think that sums up my movie tastes well

    ReplyDelete
  182. Territory days represent!

    ReplyDelete
  183. At least Virgil isn't alone.

I would piss myself with laughter.

    ReplyDelete
  185. A bunch of stars and one superstar of wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  186. I bought it in the Mars tin as well. And, Reservoir Dogs in the gas can.

  187. Couple of weeks ago? Strep throat.

This past week? Net down for 2-3 days, fixed without knowing what the fucking problem was, which worries me.

Thurs/Fri/Today? Back problems. In my early 20s, I slipped a couple of discs and pinched a couple of nerves. It still gives me trouble from time to time, mainly cause I'm Just. Too. Fat.

Bright side? Strep throat slain by antibiotics. Net working fine. Back getting better, which fits the normal pattern that has been established.

Still on the down side? Fucking WWE. Man, fuck that company.

I went to whichever Fully Loaded was in Buffalo, think it was 99. I've never seen it on TV. Didn't really care about Awesome/Tanaka because I'd seen it before and all their matches are basically identical, and like I said, I was just partying and not really paying attention to the show. It was pretty crazy, there was NO security at all, so we're just openly bringing in liquor and smoking weed right at our seats. Mayhem had its moments, I nailed Karagis with a water bottle and got the biggest pop of the night besides Bret and Benoit and took some T.O. broad back to the hotel after and wore her out. But the main infuriated me. It's Bret and Benoit in Canada, just let them do a match, the overbooking was totally unwarranted.
