    Good evening everyone.

  2. Huh, so Duke - Kensucky for the national title is likely. It's nice to see two teams that epitomizr everything wrong with this country face off. Maybe after Calipari has yet another accomplishment pulled the NCAA will finally look into Duke and how they're just as bad as everyone else.

    Dear Boys?

    ReplyDelete
  8. God I hope. Then we'd have a nice, clean narrative: Fuck Duke.

    ReplyDelete
  9. How about if they took the concept of the cruiserweight open at XX and did a NXT open at Wrestlemania. Let the champion enter last. They would put on an amazing show.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Never saw.

I don't think anything can compare with 16 year old female coaches, players with finishing moves, backstories to everything, and players so good and so dickish that they deliberately manipulate a final score to be 111-11 just to challenge themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  11. MSU ain't done yet.

  12. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 4, 2015 at 5:07 PM

Dear boys is a more realistic basketball anime, no finishers or magic.

    Holy low price, Macklin!

    Son of a bitch!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Realistic is as boring as real basketball. There's a reason why you don't see any professional amateur style wrestling. Kuroko's Basketball is like the Harlem Globetrotters on steroids.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 4, 2015 at 5:08 PM

Ever saw Kinnikuman and Ultimate Muscle?

    Better booking than Raw today.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Add that to the fact that I got all 3 Mass Effect games yesterday for $9!

I bought 6 games for $43. Acclaimed games at that.

If that tired ass Hell in a Cell match wasn't already planned for Wrestlemania 28. . .

Night of Champions: Punk & Cena def. HHH & Nash
Hell in a Cell: Punk def. HHH in 'Hell in a Cell'; ADR def. Cena to retain
Vengeance: Punk def. Cena for '#1 contender' in a marathon
Survivor Series: Punk def. ADR for WWE Title; Cena & Rock def. HHH & Nash (HHH turns on Nash)
TLC: Punk def. ADR to retain in TLC; HHH def. Nash

-Steve Mazzagatti will be the referee

-It's gonna be a stairs match

  28. I was sitting around today and said to myself, "man, I really miss 'Coach'". You know what? NBC heard me and decided to bring the show back.

Just playing about the missing the show part. Not joking about it coming back. Hopefully, it shows money transfers and banging co-ed/recruiting whores. I'd watch that.

I wish they had called an audible in the fall of 2011 and gone full-bore with HHH-Punk in the Cell, instead of Taker. Have Jericho's trolling gimmick be a ploy to get him a Streak match. Taker destroys Y2J at Mania 28, while Hunter lays down for Punk instead. Plus, Cena vs. Rock of course.

    WRESTLEMANIA 28 RETCON:
    1. Sheamus def. Daniel Bryan to win WHT
    2. Kane def. Randy Orton
    3. Zack Ryder def. Cody Rhodes to win IC Title
    4. Team Johnny (Henry, Miz, Swagger, Ziggler, McIntyre, Otunga) def.

  44. I took a break from WM28, stopped after Taker/HHH

Match went a little too long, but it told a good story.

Decent show up to that point.

    Sheamus/Bryan memorable for whatever
Orton/Kane was a nothing match which only is memorable IMO for Kane going over
Cody/Big Show was a nice little match where Cody showed he is more than capable of leading the match
K2/Poop Stain Menudo vs. Beth/Eve was whatever. Celebrity WM moment. Inoffensive.
    Taker/HHH as mentioned above

Will catch the rest later. 1st time seeing the show since it aired

Unpopular opinion: I prefer the Edge/Taker feud in 2008 rather than Jericho/HBK.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Not at all. I also want players paid; the problem is everyone treats Coach K like he's Jesus Christ and Paypal Cal is lauded for his "refreshing" admitting the game. Both are hucksters selling an image on the backs of kids who have a lot more to lose.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I also thought Cody should have gone over at 27 in the Legacy triple threat. Orton didn't need it, Dibiase was getting the focus, so a Cody win would have been a nice IMO... not telegraphed but ultimately believable

  62. I love the run from MITB 2011-Extreme Rules 2012. Easily my favorite recent run of WWE programming. Had 4 shows I was legitimately and almost child-like enthused about: MITB 2011, Summerslam 2011, WrestleMania 28 and Extreme Rules 2012. I was more excited for those PPVS than I had been for any show before. Wasn't perfect but I loved that run and was honestly excited everytime a PPV came around.

And they actually had her say to the other cast members, "Well, I'm off to win the title, fingers crossed."

    ...REALLY?!

Or is this a case where maybe the other Divas didn't know and Nikki was 'fabbing them.

Randy Orton should have beaten Kane at "Extreme Rules" 2012 in spectacularly violent fashion. Becoming the asshole, punt-your-head-off heel Viper version so he could be Punk's next challenger after the Jericho feud. They could have easily done Punk-Orton at 'Over the Limit' and 'No Way Out', especially if Cena had actually taken some fucking time off.

I still maintain that they should have done Rock & Cena vs. HHH & Nash. More star power for an MSG show, plus it doesn't make Awesome Truth look like total jobbers. They got no "rub" or anything from that match. They could have gotten mileage out of Miz/Truth leading a crazy heel team against the WWE "lockerroom" during that whole "walkout" angle.
    - Rock/Cena vs. HHH/Nash (heels job to set up the HHH-Nash garbage for TLC...gotta have that Hunter strong for Taker! smh)

Mimi makes the show to me.

And don't you dare slag Dilbert.

  152. I've never understood the Louis CK love.
Brb, let me go get my pitchfork for that Bob's Burgers comment.

  153. Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News picked the Tribe to win the World Series. I'm optimistic about this season but WORLD SERIES?

Don't misunderstand, I LIKED Dilbert. Which is why I thought Drew's attempt at aping that character was so lame.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Yeah, if I hadn't seen her shtick done countless times before being exposed to her, it would probably resonate more. I do love her show though.

    ReplyDelete
  156. DIlbert...now there's a show that didn't last long enough.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I tried out the British Office but didn't really like it. Best part was Gervais' Hot Love Highway song.

    ReplyDelete
  158. SI better hope the Tribe don't run into the Giants. They're 1/1 in destroying dreams of middle-America teams with long-title droughts.

One of the best parts of Seinfeld was the other characters constantly pointing out the lameness of Jerry's stand-up act.

  164. I wish WWE would make up their mind on the Kliq. Are HBK, Hall, and Nash in the fold or not? One minute they are bff's with HHH then another minute they attack him out of the blue. The next minute they are texting themselves from his phone and sticking someone. I need a resolution on this.

  167. Going back and watching his standup is awful. The tv show is another matter. Don't be hatin' on the tv show. That's where we fight.

  168. Is anyone watching a PPV tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  169. I'm actually a much bigger fan of George Costanza / Larry David.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

  171. Considering it was a taped Raw, that Cena/HBK match was probably actually a 37-40 minute match stretched to an hour with commercials.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Remember when he was wearing a trash bag in 90 degree weather running through traffic waving a gun? Good times.

    ReplyDelete
  173. I think it was 55 minutes without commercials included.

    ReplyDelete
  174. That's still a pretty fucking long match.

  175. Let me finish this episode of nxt and I'd be down for one.

In short( or long since it took me several nights to do this) the heels are getting murdered at Mania.

And how he disappeared for several years and re-emerged 20 pounds heavier and with the energy level of a sick panda? But yeah, no drugs here, nope. All that constant sweating and wild eyes? Glandular condition.

  181. .607 win percentage

  182. And the majority of their 119 wins is HHH!

  183. Ugh. Cena doesn't even pull back on the stf. His version is so fucking shitty.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Dean Ambrose put a better STF on Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  185. The winning culture is established and I'm sure they're a little fired up about what Pablo said. So I could see us sneaking in again as a WC.
But since it is an odd year and I was talking in fantasy, I could see us winning 80 games and I would be completely fine with that.

  186. No you might be thinking of Jobber. I don't care much about baseball but there are too many Giants haters here.

  188. It looked like they pulled within 30 wins at one point didn't they?

An interesting, but impossible task to count all matches on all televised events since a specific time.

From WM to WM might actually be possible, since Raw and SD are easily DVRed.

  189. What makes no sense is I was brought up by East Coast smartass types, and Louis CK enrages me.
