So, two cool things of note. One, Vader is reported to be considering moving to Florida to help work with people in NXT, which can really help some of the bigger guys down there. Two, and more immediate, the WWE is looking to create a new United States Championship for John Cena and has begun commissioning artwork. Huzzah!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Speaking of the Vader training NXT-ers, I really hope it's just the guy who played Donovan McNabb on It's Always Sunny.

    ReplyDelete
  6. If he doesn't have what it takes to get his own kid over in the big leagues, how can help anyone else?

    ReplyDelete
  7. finally got the network...man, NXT is worth the monthly cost alone. Holy shit I'm enjoying this binge watch.

    ReplyDelete
  8. If you have a fat asshole taking liberties with rookies, better Vader than DeMott.

  10. There's something that just makes me both laugh and shake me head knowing that from March 2nd of this year, Petco has owned the the trademark to "Monday Night Raw."

    ReplyDelete
  11. If they pay in cases of Natural Ice, Knobbs will be there.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Really don't need "Monday Night" as part of the title. WWE RAW is just fine.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I hereby claim the trademark for ICOPRO!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Monday Night has been a huge part of the name for years now.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Is that true? Hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Haven't heard this story but with WWE's crack legal team i'm not the least bit surprised.

    ReplyDelete
  19. There's a Murder Boners three years running in mine.

    ReplyDelete
  20. We all know it's Monday night. Kinda redundant.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yeah, but they're smart enough not to let the trademark on the title expire.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I was watching some of Punk's old OVW promos and it's pretty cute to see Punk and Maria's relationship develop on screen from week to week lol. The interviews were like Roman Reigns and Renee Young to the 20th power

    ReplyDelete
  26. I wasn't sure if it was real as well, but from seeing this article http://www.wboc.com/story/28184208/unleashed-by-petco-launches-monday-night-raw-next-level-nutrition-series I double checked the US trademark and patent website and it's there and registered to Petco.

The title looks like a million bucks on Seth. Dude's got presence.

And within ten seconds, Randy Orton vs. Big Show? Fuck no, adios SmackDown.

    ReplyDelete
  49. IT'S THE ASCENSION!

    Oh wait, it's Seth Rollins.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hilarious that they didn't design a Russian version of it for Rusev but John Cena has it...Brand spanking new and make it on the double.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hopefully he's getting a "good color guy" transplant

    ReplyDelete
  52. I voted for Matt and Helms. No regrets.

    ReplyDelete
  53. And there'll be Looney Tunes Show episodes thrown in there too. So there's plenty of material to cover.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Wow, what a dick. Fuck Roberts.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I just wishes the title itself looked better.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm sure after the 30th time he called her a stupid bitch, it was love.

    ReplyDelete
  57. He sounds like that Al Gore doll from The Simpsons.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Wade Keller was all over Steph last week for retweeting some shit about how PR sob-stories is just smart marketing and nothing more.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Did you read it? It was basically a long ass diatribe on how he is more friends with the cancer baby than anyone else. Pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Today's Fun Fact:

R-Truth has main evented as many PPVs as Andre The Giant.

    ReplyDelete
  61. That's the best looking WWE Title Belt of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  62. The Miz headlined more WrestleManias than Lou Thesz.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Now you made me imagine Seth with the Million Dollar Title.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Steve Lombardi drew more money than Abraham Lincoln

    ReplyDelete
  65. WHAT'S UP

    ReplyDelete
  66. That was Miz/Truth vs Rock/Cena?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Voted for Raven and a Sinister Minister.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Lord Littlebrook wrestled in front of bigger crowds than the Big Show

    ReplyDelete
  69. So Randy Orton's new shirt has Venom written on the front in giant letters? Wonder if they'll get a call from Marvel over that? Venom's got to be a tough trademark to maintain though.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Shelton Benjamin main evented zero PPVs.

    ReplyDelete

  73. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 2, 2015 at 6:17 PM

There's a Venom mma clothing brand, they never called them out.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Andre had WM 3, Summer Slam tag match, and a Survivor Series match. Did Truth have a 3rd I'm forgetting?

    ReplyDelete
  75. It's weird that Bischoff used to book people to a match with the 7 FOOT, 300 POUND MONSTER KANE! And now Kane is booking people to a match with the 7 FOOT, 500 POUND GIANT BIG SHOW!

    ReplyDelete
  76. And a Venom heavy metal band that's been around for 40+ years.

    Never got into Venom.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Even though he concluded with Steph tweeting that philanthropy is the way to make money?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Coming up on 5 years of his WWE release.

I never expected him to not come back but here we are.

    ReplyDelete
  81. And Paul Diamond on TWA.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:20 PM

Natalya vs. Naomi has become quite the interesting little mini-feud. They repeat a lot of the same spots, but they're definitely trying out there and are looking pretty good.

Also, LOL at the piped cheers for the Roman Reigns visual. I'm sure that was legit.

    ReplyDelete
  83. He's back? In pog form?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I read the entire thing. I did not get that message at all. He said everyone was nice and friends with Connor. He then questioned WWE's motive because of the Tweet sent out by Steph, that's all. He even credited Steph as being very nice and friends with Connor multiple times.

    ReplyDelete
  85. What show are you watching? If you watch a taped version of Smackdown and talk about stuff after fast forwarding it fucks the rest of us up.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Gonna be censored up the wazoo.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I can't get into Naomi now that they prevented wardrobe malfunctions.

    ReplyDelete
  88. BUT NOT MORE THAN ME!

    ReplyDelete
  89. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 2, 2015 at 6:21 PM

I know they influenced a lot of bands, never been a black metal guy besides Mercyful Fate/King Diamond.

    ReplyDelete
  90. No, but i always expected him to, but after 5 years i'd say that ship has officially sailed.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Didn't Shelton have a try out like a year or two ago?

    ReplyDelete
  92. Kane's the only guy in the business who could possibly take the RKO bump on his hip.

    Retire you fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I don't count 10+ man matches. Otherwise Truth would have him beat with Royal Rumble appearances.

    ReplyDelete
  94. or how he took the pedigree on his knee.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Why the fuck would Shelton Benjamin need a try out? Hire him back or don't.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:23 PM

... It's playing right now on Syfy.

    ReplyDelete
  97. So I'll take that as a yes.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Yeah, it's dumb. People will always have a cynical attitude about businesses' involvement in charity, but give the benefit of the doubt since it's (theoretically) doing good. But when you come out and blatantly strip all pretenses, everybody will just see that you're full of shit. Why would she EVER tweet something like that?!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Venom is one of those bands who's first couple albums were influential then released three decades worth of material not alot of people cared about.

    ReplyDelete
  100. She didn't, she was quoting a dude who said that. And there is absolutely zero wrong with that statement anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  101. It was a distasteful statement.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:24 PM

Dean Ambrose drops a smelly deuce. Wow, alright.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Daniel Bryan Vs Sheamus...tonight.

    This fucking company man.

    ReplyDelete
  104. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 2, 2015 at 6:25 PM

Like Metallica, rides on the coattails of the first albums.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Exactly. WWE,for all the shilling they do, were actually getting the benefit of the doubt with the Connor and Make-a-Wish stuff. Now, when they try the whole "are you gonna boo the guy who does make-a-wish" stuff, Cena will absolutely get booed because it's full of shit.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:25 PM

    Check for WrestleMania banners!

    ReplyDelete
  107. The one with the baby bank robber was on today. The only thing cut was the gun scene. The bat hits, shaken baby...all left in.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:26 PM

HOW THE FUCK DID REIGNS HAVE LESNAR BEAT!?

Brock hit Reigns with the F5, and then Seth Rollins came out! Fuck, I don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  109. A new Cena version would sell a lot more replicas to belt marks and plastic ones to kids

    ReplyDelete
  110. Great stuff. As someone who worked in PR for a major company, I can testify that this stuff is twisted into "how can we use charity to enhance our #brand" It's kinda gross.

    ReplyDelete
  111. What does that have to do with me, Shelton Benjamin>

    We're talking about me, R-Truth

    ReplyDelete
  112. There's no proof of Vader being 1/1000th of the asshole DeMott is

    ReplyDelete
  113. She didn't exactly go out of her way to debunk that statement or rag on him for how idiotic that sounds.....

    ReplyDelete
  114. I don't think anything I've said warranted that response. We'll just agree to disagree on the story.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Judging by the Cornette shoot, Vader seems like one of those guys that on the surface you wouldn't want to run into in a dark alley, but in reality, is a total sweetheart.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:29 PM

Does SmackDown not have commercials this week or something? I've been watching for 30 minutes and they've been going non-stop.

    ReplyDelete
  117. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 2, 2015 at 6:30 PM

    Vince McMahon reality show

    *Shakes Khalifa's hand*

    Vince: Who's the negro?
Dunn: Some rap guy, you can't make him dance for you

    ReplyDelete
  118. LOL at Natalya and Uso's Wife doing a RVD/Jerry Lynn faceoff spot.

    ReplyDelete
  119. It's not idiotic at all. It's how the world works. A shit ton of good is done based solely on PR, or tax purposes, or just to makes yourself feel good. Who gives a shit what the reason is?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Kane doesn't bump at all anymore. Pointless for him to wrestle.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Yeah, i'm watching Smackdown up here in the hinterland and the Divas match just started a minute ago.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I'm not arguing that at all, it's more of why you would admit or even quote something that says that.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Nikki: Naomi doesn't have "it" to be champion. Hmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:32 PM

THAT'S what's going on; my feed is ahead of everyone else's apparently. I've blown past that match and the Roman Reigns interview and am already onto the next match. Weird...

    ReplyDelete
  125. Shoot comments.....?

    ReplyDelete
  126. I'm stuck with a standard def TV for the moment so I can't fully capitalize on DirecTV HD, but even downscaled HD blows standard def completely out of the water.

    ReplyDelete
  127. But uh, Andre was part of that draw and won the match in sur. series. That's a little different than a rumble appearance. So not so much a "fact" more like a "i'll narrow down criteria so it fits to something interesting."

    ReplyDelete
  128. Another sheltered pre-taped Roman Reigns interview?

    He's gotta learn sometime Vince.

    ReplyDelete
  129. She's doing commentary with Brie. Not very good of course.

    ReplyDelete
  130. It's just a bunch of meaningless buzzwords at some bullshit SXSW thing. With their corporate speak, they were probably talking about raising awareness.

    ReplyDelete
  131. You'll never make it to the top laying down for a mid-carder. At least John Cena is smart enough not to marry the broad.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I hope they lose passion for THIS BUSINESS soon and decide not to renew.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I think Nikki's tank top said the real Bella is here.

    Whatever that means.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:35 PM

He needs to learn to do the sheltered interviews, first. This one is pretty bad; he looks uncomfortable and is wholly unnatural on the microphone. The dude acts like he has stage fright in these deals.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Are you ahead in time zone? It's coming up next for me. Are you in Atlantic Time or something?

    ReplyDelete
  136. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:36 PM

    I'm in Eastern time zone.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I have an easy solution: Just let the motherfucker speak off the cuff. It's obvious he's trying to follow script and it's not working.

    ReplyDelete
  138. "It's the way brands are going to win" sounds a lot more like something focused on the image of a company than actually raising awareness. Make people think you're socially conscious and do good things, get more customers. The charity's just an agent for strengthening your brand, and actually saying it out loud is negates the whole thing.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Yeah i saw that merch too. Bella split # 47 coming up soon?

    ReplyDelete
  140. Is there any reason HHH & Steph seemingly refuse to work Smackdown? I mean they're backstage anyways right? At least for tv tapings.

    ReplyDelete
  141. HHH is possibly in Florida

    ReplyDelete
  142. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:39 PM

    ¯\(°_°)/¯

    ReplyDelete
  143. It's bad enough they're all over Raw.....

    ReplyDelete
  144. Its been cemented as the "B" show for so long that they are not even going to bother with that.

    ReplyDelete
  145. HHH will appear on SmackDown every now and then. I've never seen Steph, though.

    ReplyDelete
  146. The WWE Champion on SmackDown? What is this sorcery?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:40 PM

In its entire history, SmackDown has only been superior to Raw for like eight months, back in 2002-2003. Otherwise it's been the reject dumping ground.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:41 PM

Title looks good on him, doesn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  149. When Orton was champion he was there regularly. It's more of a "John Cena doesn't appear on SmackDown" thing than a champion thing.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I don't understand how you can have a brand split and Cena never works SmackDown. At least Austin showed up on Smackdown every so often.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Kane should have a mid life crisis. Then he'll buy a big red hummer. Then he'll start running people over with it. The white hummer will return to oppose the big red hummer. Then it'll be the big red hummer vs the white hummer at SummerSlam!

    ReplyDelete
  152. So Kane vs Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam confirmed.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Does Big Show get thrown off a building in this scenario?

    ReplyDelete
  154. It proves that it's nt the size of the penis that ales the champion.

    ReplyDelete
  155. House shows on Friday,Saturday & Sunday then Raw.

The Smackdown schedule itself lends itself to being marginalized.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I dunno. Was it ever revealed who the driver of the white hummer was?

    ReplyDelete
  157. Oh ffs, "I don't think he had a counter for my counter".......fuck this guy

    ReplyDelete
  158. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 2, 2015 at 6:44 PM

    That title is awful.

    ReplyDelete
  159. This Reigns promo is not very good.

"Lesnar didn't have a counter for my counter". His counter being punches to the face.

    Yeah, bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Well it's Bray Wyatt now.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Roman's delusion is so awesome. This has to be a heel turn; I don't mean this as there is an intentional heel turn, rather than these are things a heel would say and the fans will keep him a heel.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I was reading Petrie's reviews from 2000 and he said SmackDown was oftentimes more eventful than Raw back then. I guess since WCW was in the shitter they could take Raw easy and focus on the larger network TV audience.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Sounds like canned crowd reaction.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I do not care for this Roman Reigns interview. Not at all.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:45 PM

It's better than the Godawful spinner, at least.

    ReplyDelete
  166. This promo would be awesome if Brock came through the fucking wall like the koolaid guy and just destroys Reigns to the point he's never seen again

    ReplyDelete
  167. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:45 PM

If it's not a canned crowd reaction, they need this crowd with them on the road.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Did you climb Man Mountain Rock though?

    ReplyDelete
  169. That'll be 500k please.

    ReplyDelete
  170. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 2, 2015 at 6:46 PM

I enjoyed the spinner when that actually spinned.

    ReplyDelete
  171. The lady is flying in from California tomorrow for the long weekend. I'm so stoked.

    ReplyDelete
  172. ..."Couple more of these" in a jerk off gesture.......and this is taped........fuck this guy

    ReplyDelete
  173. OH YEAH!

    ReplyDelete
  174. I think some slight humility would work in Romans favor. Something to humble him a bit. Make him slightly more relatable.

    ReplyDelete
  175. How many murders does the E need to suffer before they learn?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  176. Dammit, why can't i find the clip where Goldberg stalls his car and is forced to abandon it and chase after whoever the hell he was feuding with?

    This happened in 2003 right?

    ReplyDelete
  177. I guess they should be glad that SyFy is making no noise then.

    ReplyDelete
  178. HEY VINCE! Your guy is a heel! The people have spoken! Give up!

    ReplyDelete
  179. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:47 PM

The Reigns promo is stupid. First of all, it's bullshit; he wasn't about to beat Lesnar in any way, shape or form. He ate a fucking F5 right before the cash-in, so please explain how that's '30 seconds from winning'? Unless he was just going to no-sell it. Secondly, when asked what the message was to Brock by laughing at him, 'that was the message' is an idiotic answer. Third, 'didn't have a counter for my counter' is too funny to even mock.

    ReplyDelete
  180. ThebrazilianpsychoApril 2, 2015 at 6:47 PM

The smartest guy in all professional wrestling, BROCK LESNAR.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Was that when he smashed the windows with his hands and bled everywhere?

    ReplyDelete
  182. He's the uncrowned champion and would have won it too if not for that meddlin' Rollins

    ReplyDelete
  183. No, that was WCW.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Also, Austin would regularly appear on SD in 2000 and 2001. He wouldn't always wrestle, but he always at least appeared in a backstage segment or promo.

    ReplyDelete
  185. I was going to compare it to those classic NWA promos where they'd run B-roll and the heel would lie his ass off about what was happening, but Roman Reigns is not an Anderson.

    ReplyDelete
  186. They're stuck in between a rock and a hard place with Reigns. He can't be the cocky face because he just comes off as a douche and he can't be smiling babyface because he'll just be Cena 2.0

    ReplyDelete
  187. Or Owen Hart at KOTR '96.

He's got a handful of my tights McMahon!

    ReplyDelete
  188. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:49 PM

Roman Reigns is far closer to Shaska Whatley, only he thinks he's still Pistol Pez.

    ReplyDelete
  189. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:50 PM

In another universe, perhaps. Not in this one.

    ReplyDelete
  190. Biff Kensington Has a PosseApril 2, 2015 at 6:51 PM
