  1. The worlds largest love machine, Viscera

    oooohhh

    ReplyDelete
  2. Way to kick it off Bonzai.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Huh, Lucha Underground seems more like a regular TV show than TNA or WWE. The backstage segments are a step above WWE's skits and are full-blown scenes, complete with dramatic music and camera cuts.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Did anyone try Super Mario 64 on the Wii U Virtual Console yet?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Burt Macklin, FBIApril 8, 2015 at 5:22 PM

I always got a laugh from his finish being called Visagra.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Good news: WWE is FINALLY putting up all of the '98 Raws on the Network next week.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Where's my damn Rock n Wrestling?!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yeah...Lucha Underground's presentation is gonna take some getting used to. Feels a little too fake.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Nothing beats him and Charlie Haas feuding over Haas knowing Lillian off the apron (completely by accident, and still one of the more hilarious accidents on Raw), only for him to flip on both of them, them attacking her, and they become a heel tag team that goes nowhere.

    ReplyDelete
  10. What's weird is that the backstage/promo is absolutely more fake, but the presentation of the matches is much more serious than WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Ha, I remember that! Wore out my DVR rewinding that moment. He looked like a total spaz.

    ReplyDelete
  12. What about 97....this company man

    ReplyDelete
  13. Burt Macklin, FBIApril 8, 2015 at 5:25 PM

So they're skipping 97 and just putting 98? Or putting all of them up through 98?

    ReplyDelete
  14. I'm ready for the awesomeness that is 1997 Raw. 1998 is better when you've seen 1997. Also 1997 is better.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Burt Macklin, FBIApril 8, 2015 at 5:26 PM

1998 was a really great year for Raw. 1997 is legendary of course but 1998 is great too.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Where's my damm wcw tv that's not nitro

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm just going off of Reddit. They said "first year of Attitude era Raws" and automatically assumed 1998, so i just wrote what they put up.

    ReplyDelete
  18. It wouldn't have gotten a second look but Lillian had the mic in her hand and you could her moaning in pain into the mic, which just added to the hilarity.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Review of Sling TV - great. $30 for just about all the channels I like.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think that would include 1997. To me, the so-called Attitude Era begins with Bret's rant after the cage match against Sid.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Burt Macklin, FBIApril 8, 2015 at 5:28 PM

Take what you can get I guess. Raw 98 was sweet.

    ReplyDelete
  22. WHAT ABOUT NITRO? WHERE IS THE FUCKING NITRO?

    And JR no-sells it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The official wwe start of the attitude era is the msg raw in late 97. So 98 could be tye first full year, but it's probably 97.

    ReplyDelete
  25. If they just air the Saturday Night TBS wrestling show through all it's incarnations, they have 30 years of weekly TV.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yup and alot of it is edited and ready thanks to 24/7.pretty frustrating

    ReplyDelete
  27. Mitch, The GodfatherApril 8, 2015 at 5:31 PM

What the hell? LOL. Never seen this before.

  28. Games that haven't held up well: Sonic Adventure and NFL 2K5. SA has an abysmal camera, an annoying overworld hub, and started the stupid trend of having playable annoying sidekicks that don't fit with the main game. It's not just that someone designed a mentally handicapped obese purple cat and gave him fishing mini games in a Sonic game; its that someone designed that then a bunch of other people OK'd that.

2K5 is cherished as some sort of sports game Holy Grail, and while it plays well, its Franchise mode sucks, WRs drop way too many open passes, passed down the middle have no zip, and while the commentary is good, the much-lauded presentation stuff is not that good. The halftime report is just Berman saying "JAKE THE SNAKE PLUMMER....completed a pass on this one" a million times and the post-gane interviews have guys like Tom Brady sounding like Michael Clarke Duncan; funny how 2K gets a pass on that but if Madden did it like that, everyone would be calling them lazy.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I like it, too. $25 is a little more than i wanna spend for espn, history, and the big bang theory channel, but i'd keep it if they came to the Xbox. My roku stopped working and i'm not buying a xbox one.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Went to a restaurant with my wife and kids today and my wife ordered the club sandwich. I cannot be around anyone ordering a club sandwich without thinking of Mitch Hedberg's bit...

    ReplyDelete
  31. If there were ever a wrestling-related TED Talk, who would/should give it?

    ReplyDelete
  32. That theme music...

    ReplyDelete
  33. Sonic Adventure almost feels like a weird beta of Sonic Adventure. Adventure 2 is SO much more polished in every single facet that it's not even funny. And it came out only 2 years after the first one!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ted DiBiase. What other Ted could do it?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Mitch, The GodfatherApril 8, 2015 at 5:34 PM

    Hated the playbook.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Was that the Sonic from Dreamcast? I loved that game.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yeah, that's maybe a week or two after he knocked her off the apron.

    ReplyDelete
  38. If Derrick Rose holds up through the playoffs, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bulls in the Finals.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I WANT THE CLUB SANDWICH

I WANT THE TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR A NIGHT HOOKER

    ReplyDelete
  40. Small potatoes, Maggle.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Rose coming back adds some intrigue to the East even though the ECF is more or less the Cavs vs Hawks/Bulls.

    ReplyDelete
  42. At least they ditched the full screen play mapping that the old ones used so your opponent could see what play you were running

    ReplyDelete
  43. Wasn't Majora's Mask basically the extra dungeons they didn't use for Ocarina of Time? Same story with Mario Galaxy 2 for the most part in relations to Mario Galaxy 1?

    ReplyDelete
  44. They're opening the first Chick-Fil-A in the Seattle area tomorrow morning, and people are already camping out in the parking lot to be in the door first. It's insane.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Why in the hell would you camp out for Chick-Fil-A?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I love how she gets louder too, like signaling "HELLO?! SOMEONE FUCKING HELP ME!"

    ReplyDelete
  47. Before Bosh went out for the season, I was hoping for Cavs-Heat.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The Invasion would've been better if ECW was a wildcard group. ECW aligning with WCW is wrong on so many levels.

    ReplyDelete
  49. but seattle is like the 2nd biggest liberal city (behind san fran)

    ReplyDelete
  50. People never had chicken before?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Apparently the chicken is so good, people don't care. I've never had it myself.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Mitch, The GodfatherApril 8, 2015 at 5:38 PM

I always see analysts talking about how Golden State has to prove it in the playoffs since they have no experience. On the Cavs, it's pretty much Lebron. This will be Kyrie and Love's first playoffs. I really want to see how they do against a team like Chicago which may be the 2nd round matchup if everything holds right.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Ah crap. Forgot Scott asked us to stop posting video! Sorry man.

    ReplyDelete
  54. The best part of the Haas/Lillian moment was that he gave her the same running back elbow off the apron as in the AKI wrestling games

    ReplyDelete
  55. That's the thing nobody seemed concerned about with Kevin Love when they got him. Not only has he never been to the playoffs, he'd never really played a single NBA game that mattered before this season.

    ReplyDelete
  56. It's good, but not camp it good

    ReplyDelete
  57. From RVD and Dreamer running in to WCW and ECW shaking hands ranks among the most exciting wrestling TV I've ever seen. I was buzzing watching it all, and then they joined forces, and then Stephanie, and then the rest.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Paul Heyman and Steve Austin take members from WCW, ECW, and WWE to reform the Dangerous Alliance, forcing WWE/WCW/ECW to work together to take them out.

    ReplyDelete
  59. SCOTTS GONNA KIIILLLLL YOUUUUUU

    ReplyDelete
  60. Mitch, The GodfatherApril 8, 2015 at 5:41 PM

Kyrie hasn't either but I would trust him before I would Love.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Or you know...actually sign the big names of WCW and then do a real invasion and then months down the line and millions of dollars made later once it looks like WWE has finally defeated them...Boom ECW aligns with them and you can get a little more mileage out of it

    ReplyDelete
  62. chicken is good but not great; fries are awesome

    ReplyDelete
  63. have you hit refresh? Rose might be out again

    ReplyDelete
  64. Should Warriors fans be at all concerned they lost last night to the team they'll more than likely be seeing in the 1st round?

    ReplyDelete
  65. I think the Warriors will be out in the 2nd round.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Who gets hurt first Tiger or D Rose?

    ReplyDelete
  67. That was the only way to win Royal Rumbles.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Spurs are healthy, playing the best ball they have all year, and are the only team to beat GS twice this year. They should be very scared of the champs.

    ReplyDelete
  69. worst sports site? It's a great contest between espn, deadspin, bleacher report, and grantland

    ReplyDelete
  70. Perry Saturn's leg sweep

    ReplyDelete
  71. other than getting too preachy at times what is wrong with deadspin?

    ReplyDelete
  72. They won the season series 3-1, both games in GS were fairly easy wins while the NO games were an OT win for Golden State and last night's New Orleans win.

Unless the Pelicans can channel the 06-07 Warriors or the 93-94 Nuggets, it'll go five, MAYBE six.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Considering Hogan, Flair, Hall, and Nash were coming in around December and February, why not start the "Invasion" post Wrestlemania X8?

    ReplyDelete
  74. Between her and Catrina, Lucha Underground has WWE beat on eye candy.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Adam "Colorado" CurryApril 8, 2015 at 5:45 PM

Berman's presence is reason enough that it doesn't hold up.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Mitch, The GodfatherApril 8, 2015 at 5:45 PM

I don't trust their frontcourt because there is going to be a point where those jump shots don't fall.

    ReplyDelete
  77. So, it looks like all 1998 Raws will be on the Network next week.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Becausewecan'twaitwehavetodoitNOW!!

    ReplyDelete
  79. it has seem to continue to get worse I'll grant you. It's still my go to site. I only ever go to ESPN if i'm looking for scores or schedules and such.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Amazing WWE passed on her for fucking Cameron. She had a ton of potential on TE

    ReplyDelete
  81. Bleacher Report easily

    ReplyDelete
  82. i go to espn for college football stuff or for things like stats/standings

    ReplyDelete
  83. Vince was blue balling bad to bury and embarrass WCW

    ReplyDelete
  84. THORN IN YOUR EYE

    ReplyDelete
  85. Bleacher. This isn't a real question right?

    ReplyDelete
  86. They can't really just skip over 1997 can they?

    ReplyDelete
  87. From her comments when DeMott was fired, they really fucked up.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Which is a big problem if the Warriors have championship aspirations this year.

    ReplyDelete
  89. That's still my favorite opening song for Raw.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Apparently they're putting up entire years now, not sure how often or what years.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Speaking of sports sites, the damn Cutler trade rumors are coming up again. I swear the world is just teasing me.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Didn't TNA get rid if her too, or did she leave?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Sweet! I'm going to try to approximate when I started seriously watching and I'm gonna try and find that first Raw.

    ReplyDelete
  94. I don't want a shitty Springer show on the Network, I want new episodes of the Legends Roundtable.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I liked, "If they refuse to see the change in me..."

    ReplyDelete
  96. Didn't she only get eliminated because she got injured?

    ReplyDelete
  97. I'd say if Golden State loses more than once at home, they're in major trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  98. "Fuck you, because we can."

  99. Adam "Colorado" CurryApril 8, 2015 at 5:54 PM

I love Deadspin, but the Kinja layout is fucking terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  100. That one's not bad, anything's better than the crap they've had since that one. I can't stand the Papa Roach one.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Deadspin is owned by Gawker. Fuck Gawker. Therefore it's Deadspin

    ReplyDelete
  102. I like that if there is a big play that happens any night, Deadspin will have the video up in seconds. But the "writers" are the most loathsome douchebags on the internet. Just awful degenerate hacks

    ReplyDelete
  103. I can understand them wanting to throw up 98 and do a big promotion around it, but why not just to throw up 97 while you're at it?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Didn't she reportedly have a bad attitude behind the scenes?

    ReplyDelete
  105. Thaddeus MountainApril 8, 2015 at 5:56 PM

That series is the best. I get a lot of joy watching them tell stories about the old days.

    ReplyDelete
  106. why don't you like gawker? I'm curious because I never visit it

    ReplyDelete
  107. I love the ones about the old territories, I think the territory system is really fascinating.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Thaddeus MountainApril 8, 2015 at 5:58 PM

Tom Ley is the absolute worst. Unless you're Chris Kluwe, then you loathe Drew Magary more than anything.

    ReplyDelete
  109. https://www.autismspeaks.org/news/news-item/microsoft-launches-pilot-program-hire-adults-autism

Microsoft is hiring people with autism... I'm not going to make the obvious joke of "I thought they were already doing that".

    ReplyDelete
  110. Mitch, The GodfatherApril 8, 2015 at 5:58 PM

If Elfrid Payton can play next year like he has the past couple of months, the Magic have a nice nucleus with him, Vucevic, Oladipo, and Harris. Just need the right coach.

    ReplyDelete
  111. How did Lucha Underground find a clone of Rufus R "Freight Train" Jones?

    ReplyDelete
  115. you can see the disdain in BNB for having to do that Network commercial

    ReplyDelete
  116. Extant1979 - Extreme SuperstarApril 8, 2015 at 6:01 PM

1997 Raw features a young Extant in the front row of Raw during a show in June!

    ReplyDelete
  117. Gawker is the most hypocritical, slimeball gossip site out there, specifically the man-hating Jezebel. One of their writers lambasted all media types that were skeptical of the Rolling Stone campus rape story, only to look like fools when those media types were right.

And of course, the ultimate display of hypocrisy, actually involving wrestling:

Because you're a terrible person who eats shitty fast food and is hyper conservative, I guess?

    ReplyDelete
  119. grantland has been stinkin it up for awhile

    ReplyDelete
  120. I think the well received Wrestlemania with a controversial/surprise ending caused the big rating the next night. It woulda dropped big the next no matter what.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Thaddeus MountainApril 8, 2015 at 6:01 PM

How do feel about frilly toothpicks?!

    ReplyDelete
  124. gotta go espn as they don't have a thing worth reading. The other sites have SOMETHING you may want to check out. I watched a baseball game on espn.com, that was cool, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  125. cabspaintedyellowApril 8, 2015 at 6:03 PM

In addition to Smackdown and Tough Enough, USA is adding another series: a late night talk show hosted by Todd Chrisley. Despite hardly anyone knowing who he is still.

    ReplyDelete
  126. They'll wait two years so they can do it'll be 20 years since the Montreal Screwjob or some nonsense reason like that.

    ReplyDelete
  127. cabspaintedyellowApril 8, 2015 at 6:03 PM

I think more people know who danimal is than Todd Chrisley.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Rock: sure i'll pose with you..how long have you been a fan? Kevin what? you......you are on the roster?

    It's sad, really.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Their Twitter interaction is hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Dude I'm with you. Tom Ley is insufferable. To paraphrase one of his article titles, " Tom Ley is the worst because he's dumb"

    ReplyDelete
  133. Best Smackdown intro: "Beautiful People"

    ReplyDelete
  134. I'm just eh to it. The shitty movie did that to me

    ReplyDelete
  135. Yeah, apparently they want more "reality" programming...even though the channel was at its peak with original shows like Monk and Burn Notice.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Different times. This is made by the same company that brought us the Avengers, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Guardians.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Burt Macklin, FBIApril 8, 2015 at 6:06 PM

Shitty movie was done 10 years ago in a different format by different people holmes.

    ReplyDelete

    And Psych!

    ReplyDelete
  139. when one opened at WKU students camped out, it was ludacris.. i think there was also some promotional thing attached to it.. like free chicken (with the k backwards) or sumthin

    ReplyDelete
  140. I never thought I would say this but thank god for the tapout commercial..if I had to take 2 more seconds of that NXT theme loop I was going to cancel the network

    ReplyDelete
  141. cabspaintedyellowApril 8, 2015 at 6:07 PM

Honestly, I haven't liked any Smackdown theme.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  149. Best sports site? I like 538. Not including all the other stuff (best burrito; political articles), they present their argument with facts and present things in new ways. They are just not "OMG Patriots are sooooo awesome" or "Belicheck is the devil and should be banned"

    ReplyDelete
  150. Flair and Arn in a cage? The mauling of the Undertaker? Get it all here from Rock Star Gary! http://www.danimalcrossing.com/?p=840

    ReplyDelete
  151. The amazing thing is that they want "millennials" and yet they're airing that Chrisley shit

    ReplyDelete
  152. wasn't there a weird transitional period?

    ReplyDelete
  153. It wouldn't take much to get me to agree that Belicheck is the devil.

    ReplyDelete
  154. As long as Flair isn't on the panel

    ReplyDelete

Mine is the rap one from 2003.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  158. which show had "let the bodies hit the floor?"

    ReplyDelete
  164. Watching over wrestlers is weird.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I like that one where Michael Hayes overstates his worth and takes credit for all of southern wrestling's success. Wait, that's every interview he ever does, nevermind.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Arrow's really upped it's game on the mini "coming soon" promos for future weeks........and fuccccccck, rerun tonight

    ReplyDelete
  167. WRONG!, WWECW used it from 2006-08.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Vince was back stage yelling at HHH "....get Kane out their this crowd is going to burn itself out"

    ReplyDelete
  169. With the locker room/warehouse montage. Still my favorite too.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Just read a Cracked article that said Bret Hart was up for the role of Batman in Batman 5 before it was cancelled. lolwat.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I really want WWE to try and run Big Show vs. Reigns as the main event of an NXT special and see the crowd reaction.

    ReplyDelete
  172. I need to get caught up on NXT.

    ReplyDelete

  175. I always have those because they spoil the shit out of everything. But I thought the point of Arrow and Flash taking February off was that they could run the rest of the way without a rerun?

Whatever, I just Ray to ship out already so Olicity can finally happen. Last episode with the police hunting Arrow was fucking awesome

    ReplyDelete
  176. Graves mentioning Fujinami and explaining why he is important. HEY VINCE!

    ReplyDelete
  177. I liked the intro cause Torrie Wilson stretching made me laugh. The fuck you warming up for, you gonna pull a hammy in a bikini contest?

    ReplyDelete
  178. I like the song, but it's not energizing for a wrestling show. The newer Botchamania open has reminded me what awesome in-house songs RAW and Smackdown used to have.

    ReplyDelete
  179. 2009ish, whenever they had the SD X anniversary look
