  1. I know Gotham has shown some slight improvement, but after watching Daredevil, I don't know how I can go back to Gotham, Arrow, or any other network show aside from maybe S.H.I.E.L.D. or The Flash. It really was that good.

  2. Gotham from the start has been a show I know isn't great, but I tune in each week anyway. Since I'm a heathen and not interested in DD, Gotham will do just fine. It does enough right to get by, and I'm a Batman guy anyway.

  3. I know how you feel. Going from a high quality show like mad men or better call Saul to mediocre show is just such a drop off

  4. Tigers are no longer undefeated. Season OVER.

  5. I've TRIED very hard to get into Arrow and Flash. I've tried very hard to see these great shows that people keep going on about. But the CW trappings are just all over both shows that I just can't. Great fight scenes or special effects can't save the insipid, forced teen melodrama.

    Daredevil doesn't have that.

  6. Honestly, I still believe Gotham would've work better as a modern day setting, with Batman patrolling the city but still focusing completely on the cops. It worked amazingly for the comic series Gotham Central and I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't go in that direction. Batman would only BARELY show up, anyway.

  7. Hey, RAW is taped. Perfect opportunity to pipe in Roman Reigns chants.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Not marketable enough I guess, or too clever perhaps. Prime time TV. What are ya gonna do.

    ReplyDelete
  9. "The fans love Reigns so much here in the UK they're dumping beer on him like their soccer heroes or something!"

  10. Michael Bolton on Last Week Tonight is pretty great.

  11. A reminder that spoilers tonight are not welcomed.

  12. I've been avoiding plenty of wrestling sites tonight to avoid spoilers.

    RULE 1: Don't be a douche

  13. Spoiler: Cena Wins. LOL

  14. I really like Arrow. I see a lot of people that don't enjoy it but it might be my favorite show on Network television.

  15. Yeah, that usual mixed/negative reaction is going to sound STELLAR, baby. The assortment of chants the London crowd was doing during the segment? Gone, lol.

  16. Spoiler: Roman gets confused.

    ReplyDelete
  17. The above post was a joke. I don't know what actually happens...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Still annoyed they don't advertise on Raw that they are putting up old shows. That would be a good way to draw in new customers perhaps.

  19. I cry from the tip of my penis whenevs I check their Nitro library and it shows those fucking French Canadians at the end of 96

  20. They don't own the name to superstars of wrestling anymore. It would be edited to hell.

Matter of they are about to lose the rights to the name monday night raw.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yeah their previous gimmick was way better.

  22. WWE: "But sticking to a schedule is HARD!"

    ReplyDelete
  23. f**k "casuals"!

(especially because it doesn't seem unlike that the same kind of people would go back to jokingly asking "you STILL watch wrestling" two or three years later)

    ReplyDelete
  24. yep, they totally were.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well-played, sir. Well-played.

  26. I'm always on the look-out for references to the Q's around here.

  27. "They don't own the name to superstars of wrestling anymore. It would be edited to hell."
They just recently put up a Raw from September 1996, and when Mr. Perfect said "Superstars of Wrestling" during an inset promo, it wasn't muted ("of Wrestling" was muted when the same Raw episode aired on COD years ago).
It seems that stuff that was uploaded to the Network first (some PPVs) censor it, but things that were added later (SNME) do not.

  28. Trying to hook those freeloaders into paying for May.

    ReplyDelete
  29. it was attitude era raws which is what the category is called. What is hard to figure out?

    ReplyDelete
  30. It's universally accepted that '97 is one of Raw's best two years? If you say so. I can't wait for them to one day be uploaded, so people here can watch FULL episodes from that era.

    ReplyDelete
  31. IDK. Trying to figure out the editing will drive you crazy
