  1. No those 3 plus EC3 need to go to WWE/NXT stat! And how about a final Kurt Angle run??? that would be too much of a dream at this point though.

Based on your avatar and screen name, it shouldn't be hard to find you, Ben Stiller.

  3. Funny how none of those offers ever panned out, you know?

  6. Tyson Kidd was another who spent some time down in NXT and it seems to have helped him.

  7. Short matches on TV, long matches on house shows is the formula I would go with.

  8. What the hell are you talking about? He should be weirdly looking off to the left but never directly at the camera!

  9. Man, I was really underwhelmed by this show. I thought the opener was a big disappointment, probably the biggest difference in our ratings in a long time. I had it around **1/2, as it just felt like it lacked any kind of flow. Everything else I agree on, and it adds up to the weakest of the live specials, though there were still three amazing things -- Balor's entrance, Joe's debut and that fantastic Sasha-Becky match (which I actually had at ****1/2).

  10. Yeah, I was about to say, Jericho and Edge say Vince is anal about NOT looking at the camera for some reason.

  11. A shirt that actually says Samoa Joe?!?! That's awesome!

  12. also, I'm sure he realized that might be his only shot ever. so of course he's gonna show up in the best possible physical condition.

  13. What is Samoa Joe's relationship to Tamina Snuka?

  14. Stopped watching quite a while ago.

  16. I enjoy the spectacle of wrestling. Like, I love Lucha Underground because Pentagon Jr. is basically a Ninja Turtles villain. My favorite wrestlers are all guys who fall on the "over the top" side of the equation. Punk is no lie, my favorite wrestler but the moments from him that I enjoyed the most were him rubbing the ashes of Paul Bearer on himself while kneeling over the unconscious body of the Undertaker, or calling Jeff Hardy a crackhead.

I enjoy wrestling matches because they're ridiculous, but they should also be logical too. That's the thing, people either expect them to be "realistic" which is just dumb, or they say "well wrestling is silly, so it doesn't have to make sense" which is also dumb. Have internal logic, be free to go out there and do crazy shit too.

  17. You really don't get why people think you're an asshole when you say stuff like?

"A Vince Russo show is better than a NXT special show"

    "JBL was pretty good"

    "TNA is better than NXT"

Really? You don't understand why people think you're a clown?

And this isn't a battle between "real sport and ridiculous fantasy sport". I like the silly shit, it's just that NXT delivers the silly shit really well (THEDEMONFINN is RIGHT there), and it also delivers the "real sport" really well. It's telling that the primary criticism of NXT is whether its failing at being development in its efforts to be a really, really good TV-show.

My problem isn't with a person disagreeing with me, its with a product providing what is obviously exactly what you want but you thinking it sucks to be a contrary asshole.

What did you like about 1998 that wasn't provided here? Tits? I'd say that hotness of the female talent has gone up since the Russo era. 2-minute matches? Uh...you got me there. The Rock? He's not coming back, so...you should get over that.

  18. That's...really obscure, I don't know why you'd want to bring up the specter of that angle.
