  5. US PPV prices are insane. It's £19.95 in the UK.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I have one that is somewhat working at the moment but does anyone else have a totally legal TV channel the fight is on?

    ReplyDelete
  7. This week's New Generation Podcast covers King of the Ring 1996, and they're listing off the suggested names for the Mankind gimmick. Ohhhhh dear.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hard to believe that boxing is so out of the loop that they aren't putting the fight on a $9.99 per month network channel.

    ReplyDelete
  9. It's listed on most of them, whether or not they'll actually work won't be certain until nearer the time.

    ReplyDelete
  10. For some reason that Royal Rumble he was in really stood out for me.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Doesn't it start at 8?

For the record, I've had a thing for Elizabeth Olsen since Martha Marcy May Marlene, a movie that's as creepy as it is boring, although it has the saving grace of her tasteful nudity.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Most places I can see it have it starting at 9.

    ReplyDelete
  14. What you are doing here is saying the opposite of what has been happening in order to express the extent to which it has been happening. Have I analyzed this correctly?

  17. Ok this one got a legit LOL. Well done.

  18. How in the hell has nobody mentioned Hall and Nash?

    ReplyDelete
  19. They did down below.

    But hey, WHAT ABOUT RAVEN?

  23. Russo was long gone when that happened.

Also, Rick Steiner won his post-break up feud with Scott

    ReplyDelete
  24. My official prediction... Floyd Mayweather has Manny Pacquiao beaten until Big Show music plays causing Mayweather to get distracted giving Pacquiao the opportunity to roll him up for the 3 count and the pin by the referee who forgets that this is a boxing match. The next night boxing commissioner says the decision doesn't count and sets up a rematch "belt on a pole" match for the next PPV.

    You heard it here first.

Seems legit. Freebirds very shot 80s WWF run and his Executioner stint. Of course he was in NWA/WCW a bunch of times.

    ReplyDelete
  26. How many WCW stints did Fred Ottoman have? He had two distinct WWF runs (91-93 and briefly in 94) and one WCW run in late 93. Was there another?

Martel did an RF shoot about 12 years ago, he said there was a lot of resistance to him as a heel and that Pat and Vince were against the idea for a long time saying he was someone the fans just didn't want to boo. Martel said he wasn't coming back and Vince changed his mind and gave him "The Model" gimmick. Martel hated it but his wife said it could be worse, he could be a rooster!

The reason the push didn't go further was that he was developing a real estate business as his exit strategy and would take time off to do that for a while and then come back for a run when he needed more business capital.

My tv channel is gonna show Manny/Floyd free.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'll be ordering as long as it's not EY/Angle in the main event.

    ReplyDelete
  35. No. They have a live Impact coming up on Friday then they tape the rest of May on the 9th, 10th, and 11th. They are also rumored to get another live Impact in June a couple of weeks before the PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I remember seeing that show for the first time in the mid-90's, seeing Shane Douglas come out and being all "LOLWUT?"

    ReplyDelete
  37. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 2, 2015 at 6:05 PM

ECIII takes the title at the PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That channel must have paid a mint to get exclusive rights. Even if they'd just rebroadcast a Portuguese feed, that's a lot of cash.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think it would be great if he won the title then Aries cashed in right after and got a surprise victory. Aries/ECIII feud for the title through the rest of summer would be nice.

    ReplyDelete
  40. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 2, 2015 at 6:06 PM

They only show MMA, but they're making a exception tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  41. It's free here, too. You just have to pay $100.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Why not? It isn't going to last forever. Who would you have end it? Galloway?

    ReplyDelete
  47. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 2, 2015 at 6:08 PM

Galloway in a long title chase.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ah, that's fair enough. I'm totally out of the loop at the moment, so wasn't sure how TNA's taping schedule was working out.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Was Big Show using the KO before the Mayweather fight? If not they should have claimed he learned it from Mayweather after the Wrestlemania match.

    ReplyDelete
  50. They better pay there production staff, by then

    ReplyDelete
  51. cabspaintedyellowMay 2, 2015 at 6:09 PM

Gave up on the show at around midseason, but saw a trailer for the finale in which Barbara comes across as a low-rent Harley Quinn. I just find Barbara and her actress (Erin Richards) so deeply obnoxious.

But yeah, I have nothing else to add, except Morena Baccarin is blindingly attractive.

    ReplyDelete
  52. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 2, 2015 at 6:09 PM

The tv channel I'm watching is showing the HBO feed, are they gonna show the undercard or go straight for the fight?

    ReplyDelete

They're doing a countdown video, I'm already hating Mayweather. What a fucking douche.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Vince McMahon: We should've done Mayweather v. Pacquiao on the Network for 10% of that price (after having them face off on RAW and Smackdown! first of course)!

When is the fight happening this evening, any scheduled time?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Nope, no scheduled time... everyone is just supposed to guess.

    ReplyDelete
  59. In 2 hours and 42 minutes time I believe

    ReplyDelete
  60. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 2, 2015 at 6:18 PM

Alright Manny, knock this douche out.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  63. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 2, 2015 at 6:19 PM

I'm already hating Mayweather after the promos.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I heard his camp banned Nichols and Beadle from being at the event because they have been critical of his domestic violence incidents.

    ReplyDelete
  65. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 2, 2015 at 6:20 PM

    Asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yeah, I'm excited about the fight, but I prefer sleep to boxing.

    ReplyDelete
  67. They monitor the pace of the PPV buys. When the pace slows to a trickle the fight starts. Gotta squeeze every dollar out,

    ReplyDelete
  68. AverageJoeEverymanMay 2, 2015 at 6:22 PM

He had a career ending injury when he lost the TV title, that's why it was an abrupt end.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't know anything about boxing. Is this actually true?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Good question. Can't think of anyone not already mentioned in the comments or above. Did kamala have a wcw run in the early 90s? Don't think so but maybe him.

Well, just got back from seeing the Avengers, and while it did have fun action sequences, laughs, good character development, and the fact that I did enjoy it, it wasn't as good as the first and probably won't be in my top 3 MCU films.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  82. I don't think he's put that much thought into it to pick a side.

    ReplyDelete
  83. "I don't want to go" why does it need to be more complicated than that?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I'd laugh if Pacquiao won and refused to give Mayweather a rematch.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Never mind. His party is moderate, leaning conservative.

    ReplyDelete
  86. That would be cool actually

    ReplyDelete
  87. I think it's in the contract that he has to. It's part of Mayweather's contracts for all his fights.

A storyline I wouldn't mind seeing the WWE do again is the London/Kidman one from 2004. Kidman was the heel but you can sympathize with him being scared to do the SSP.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Was there a particular reason while LOD didn't wrestle at WM 8? They dropped the titles to the Water Buddies then weren't in the title match at Mania. They just had some dumb promo with Ellering.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Should be about time for Hack a Shaq.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I always thought he looked like a brown Charles Bronson

    ReplyDelete
  164. Good idea. I played 2 and 3 first and went back to 1. ME1 took some getting used to, but it was fun after I git used to the combat controls. It's fun to play through and learn about characters that will pop up later in the series.

Make sure you save it often just in case you make a decision that will affect the rest of the game and you want to see what would have happened had you picked another option.

But be warned.. you have to play the second one.. SO much better than number 1.

    ReplyDelete

The fight will be declared a no contest, but both men will leave hand in hand as lovers.

    ReplyDelete
  183. I hear you.. I'm a PC guy so I get them at a steep discount..

Citadel, Omega and From Ashes are the BEST ones to get if you can. Citadel is a nice long story and you get a lot of extras, Omega is fun to play, From Ashes gives my favorite new character: Javvik.
